Abstract

Islamic education in the digital era faces great challenges in adapting technology to improve the quality of learning and institutional management. Strategic management plays a key role in developing relevant and effective policies to manage these changes. This article discusses the role of strategic management in improving the quality of Islamic education through the use of technology, the development of digital-based curriculum, and teacher capacity building. The suggested strategic steps include integrating technology into online learning, developing a curriculum that is responsive to technological developments, and training teachers to master educational technology. Despite challenges such as inequality of access to technology and resistance to change, the implementation of proper strategic management can create a generation of religious knowledge and technology. In this way, Islamic education can develop and remain relevant in the face of digital advancements.

The business environment encompasses everything that affects a company's activities and can create opportunities or threats in its operations. Business environment factors consist of two main categories: micro, which involves individuals or parties with direct relationships with the business, and macro, which involves aspects such as economy, demographics, geography, technology, government, social, and political. The increasingly dynamic changes in the business environment and the rising level of competition have affected the sustainability of companies in various sectors, whether large, medium, or small. This research aims to analyze the impact of the business environment on business performance and identify strategies that can be applied to face these challenges. Based on the analysis, the increasingly intense competitive conditions force companies to develop more proactive and innovative strategies, particularly in the marketing aspect. These findings are expected to help the company anticipate changes in the business environment and enhance its competitiveness in the market.

Abstract

Islamic education delves into the profound aspects of the individual, where knowledge is regarded as a divine gift that must be utilized in fulfilling the human role as a khalifah (steward) on Earth. The main challenge facing Islamic education today is the dichotomy between religious and secular knowledge. This study explores the thoughts of Mohammad Natsir, an Indonesian Muslim intellectual, who sought to formulate an Islamic education system that aligns with the demands of religion, nation, and state. Using a qualitative descriptive approach and library research, this study concludes that: 1) Natsir’s thoughts on Islamic education are based on the Qur'an and Sunnah, emphasizing the importance of an integral, harmonious, and universal education to develop human potential as khalifah. 2) Natsir’s relevance in the reform of Islamic education includes a purification process returning to pure Islamic teachings with tawhid (monotheism) as the foundation of education, and modernization through the integration of religious and secular education to overcome the dichotomy in Indonesia’s educational system.

Abstract

This paper examines Muhammad Iqbal's thoughts on Islamic education as a form of conceptual reconstruction of the education system that remains relevant for Muslims in facing the challenges of modernity. As a 20th-century Muslim philosopher and thinker, Iqbal emphasized the importance of holistic education, which integrates intellectual, spiritual, and social dimensions while rejecting the mechanistic and secular nature of colonial education models. At the core of Iqbal's educational philosophy lies the concept of khudi (individuality), which highlights self-development, freedom of thought, and the cultivation of a superior character. Through a library research approach, this study explores Iqbal’s educational principles, including individualism, the balance between physical and spiritual aspects, the role of intellect and intuition, creativity, and social education. The relevance of his ideas lies in their ability to offer a visionary and inclusive framework for Islamic education, aimed at shaping individuals with high integrity who can respond effectively to the dynamics of the times.

Abstract

Abstract

The settlement of business disputes in the current State- Owned Enterprises Law accommodates Alternative Dispute Resolution through consensus. However, the ADR regulation only governs disputes between state- owned enterprises and private enterprises. In fact, ADR as a nonlitigation instrument is very suitable and popularly used by business companies at the global and national levels with the principle of beneficial solutions. The absence of ADR provisions for dispute resolution between SOEs and private companies is an issue that has been raised with the following objectives: 1. To analyse the applicable legal provisions on alternative dispute resolution in handling business disputes between SOEs and private companies; 2. Strengthenalternative dispute resolution laws in resolving business disputes between SOEs and private companies with a focus on mutual benefit for the disputing parties (benefit-benefit solution). The results of the study show that: 1. APS regulations are found in different laws and regulations governing various business sectors, but they are not fully and specifically regulated in the State-Owned Enterprise Law, Limited Liability Company Law, Arbitration Law, and the APS itself. 2. Legal reinforcement is needed to regulate ADR in the SOE Law, the PT Law and the establishment of a special ADR Law in order to create peace-oriented ADR that is beneficial to disputing SOEs and BUMS.
