Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of extraversion personality, locus of control, and emotional intelligence on the behavioral performance of Trans Semarang bus ticket officers, with social support as a mediating variable. This research employs a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (SmartPLS 4.0). The validity test results indicate that all indicators have outer loading values greater than 0.70 and AVE values above 0.50. In addition, composite reliability and Cronbach’s alpha values exceed 0.70, confirming that the research instruments are valid and reliable. The discriminant validity test using HTMT values below 0.90 also demonstrates good construct validity. The structural model results show that the R-square values are 0.866 for behavioral performance and 0.749 for social support, indicating strong predictive power. Hypothesis testing reveals that extraversion, locus of control, and emotional intelligence have a positive and significant effect on both behavioral performance and social support (p < 0.05). Social support also has a significant positive effect on behavioral performance.Furthermore, social support is proven to act as a partial mediator in the relationship between the independent variables and behavioral performance. This study highlights the importance of personality traits and emotional intelligence, supported by social factors, in enhancing employees’ behavioral performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of role conflict and job stress on job satisfaction through burnout, while highlighting the role of psychological resilience within educational management contexts. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological design was employed to explore individuals’ lived experiences in managing organizational demands. Data were collected through in-depth, semi-structured interviews with purposively selected participants who had experienced workplace conflict and job-related stress. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis, including data condensation, display, and verification. The findings reveal that role conflict and job stress contribute to emotional exhaustion, decreased motivation, and negative work perceptions. Burnout emerges as a key mediating mechanism linking job demands to job satisfaction. However, individuals who demonstrate adaptive coping strategies—such as problem-focused coping, emotional regulation, and meaning-making—show higher psychological resilience and better job satisfaction. From an educational management perspective, leadership practices, communication systems, and institutional support significantly influence these psychological dynamics. This study implies that strengthening educational management strategies, including psychological support systems and stress management programs, is essential to enhance job satisfaction and sustain organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of job insecurity and person–organization fit on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) through job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The low voluntary involvement of employees in organizational activities, which reflects a low level of OCB, is the driving factor behind this research. Auditors at the Representative Office of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) in Central Java Province, who are strategically assigned to ensure accountability in the management of state finances, serve as the subjects of this study. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on AMOS version 23 was employed in this quantitative approach. A total of 198 employees were given questionnaires to collect data. The findings indicate that while person–organization fit significantly increases job satisfaction, job insecurity significantly reduces it. OCB is not directly influenced by either person–organization fit or job insecurity. On the other hand, the results demonstrate that job satisfaction has a positive effect on OCB and mediates the relationship between OCB and both person–organization fit as well as job insecurity. These findings highlight the importance of creating a workplace that enhances job satisfaction in order to motivate staff to engage in voluntary behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to explore in depth how the dynamics of religiosity and workplace spirituality contribute to shaping the job satisfaction of lecturers at IAKN Toraja. It employs a qualitative approach through field research, collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were then analyzed using a descriptive analysis model comprising data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that lecturers' job satisfaction at IAKN Toraja is influenced by five factors: inadequate working conditions and facilities, compensation that is often delayed and lacks transparency, abrupt changes in promotion regulations, weak transparency in supervision, and a suboptimal performance-based reward system. Religiosity and workplace spirituality serve as the dominant interpretive foundations that shape the entire work experience. Work is understood as a form of service, compensation is appreciated within a providential framework, and the work community is experienced as a fellowship of faith. This study differs from previous research in that it seeks to examine the dynamics of religiosity and workplace spirituality in shaping lecturers' job satisfaction, which underpins the three pillars of higher education (Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi) namely teaching, research, and community service.

Abstract

Indonesian migrant workers abroad are vulnerable to emotional stress, anxiety, and difficulties in social and cultural adaptation, which can affect their psychological well-being. This community service activity aims to introduce Resource Therapy (RT) as a psychological approach to help participants recognize and utilize their internal resources in dealing with personal problems. The program was conducted at the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) in Penang, Malaysia, involving 36 participants comprising 30 Indonesian migrant workers and 6 KJRI staff members. The methods used included participatory psychoeducation, interactive discussions, self-reflection exercises, and practice in identifying positive psychological resources. Evaluation was conducted through participant engagement observation, reflective discussions, and post-activity feedback focusing on emotional awareness, self-reflection, and perceived usefulness of the intervention. The results showed that participants understood the basic concepts of Resource Therapy and could identify internal resources to cope with personal and emotional problems. This program has the potential to become a culturally relevant, community-based psychoeducational service model that can be replicated in Indonesian migrant worker communities in other countries.
