Abstract

Siswa memerlukan media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa mengurangi kecemasan matematika dan meningkatkan efikasi diri. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengembangkan modul untuk mengurangi kecemasan matematika dan meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa pada materi peluang. Penelitian Research and Development ini menggunakan model ADDIE dengan lima tahap pengembangan yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Sumber data dan subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah ahli materi, ahli media, guru, dan 1328 siswa dari 24 SMP di Kota Yogyakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), dan angket. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan yaitu modul materi peluang untuk mengurangi kecemasan matematis dan meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Pengambilan keputusan kelayakan produk didasarkan pada hasil analisis penilaian dari validator, ahli materi, dan ahli media yang menunjukkan bahwa modul sangat valid dan berpeluang menurunkan kecemasan matematis dan meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa.Students need learning media that can help students reduce mathematics anxiety and increase self-efficacy. The aim of the research is to develop a module to reduce mathematics anxiety and increase students' self-efficacy in opportunity material. This Research and Development research uses the ADDIE model with five development stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The data sources and subjects in this research were material experts, media experts, teachers, and 1328 students from 24 junior high schools in Yogyakarta City. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), and questionnaires. The results show that the product developed, namely the opportunity material module to reduce mathematical anxiety and increase students' self-efficacy, is suitable for use in mathematics learning. Decision making on product feasibility is based on the results of assessment analysis from validators, material experts and media experts which show that the module is very valid and has the opportunity to reduce mathematical anxiety and increase student self-efficacy.

Abstract

This research is based on the low numeracy literacy skills of students, which are due to their unfamiliarity with solving numeracy literacy problems and the limited availability of such problems, making it difficult for teachers to provide numeracy literacy problems to students. Therefore, it is necessary to develop math problems that can measure students' numeracy literacy skills. The method applied in this research is Research and Development with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) without implementing the fourth and fifth stages. The development process starts from the analysis stage, which includes curriculum analysis, needs analysis, and material and problem analysis. After that, in the design stage, a product prototype is designed, and in the development stage, the product is consulted with three experts as validators. Next, the product is tested on students to determine its validity and reliability. The results show that all problems have a validity coefficient greater than , which means that all developed problems fall into the valid category. The developed problems are also highly reliable, with a reliability coefficient of . Therefore, it is concluded that this development research produces 36 AKM-based problems to measure students' numeracy literacy skills in statistics that are valid and reliable.

Abstract

Mathematical Creative Thinking Ability is a means of finding solutions and solving problems universally. This study aims to analyze students' mathematical creative thinking skills after the covid-19 pandemic. The research subjects were 100 SMA/MA students in DIY. The research method used is descriptive quantitative assisted by the LISREL program. The analytical tool used is structural equation modeling to analyze the dimensions of mathematical creative thinking which consists of four indicators, namely flexible, fluent, elaborative, and evaluative thinking. The results showed that the students' mathematical creative thinking ability was at a moderate level above 80% with a loading factor value greater than 0.3 and a t-value above 1.96. Of the four dimensions, the indicator of elaborative thinking ability is the most dominant in contributing to and influencing the sub-indicator, namely developing students' ideas. Keywords: mathematical creative thinking, structural equation modelling, Covid-19 pandemic DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i4.pp1328-1336

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh model pembelajaran matematika Knisley terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa di SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Tes dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tes awal (pretest) dan tes akhir (posttest). Populasi sekaligus sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII A dan kelas VIII C SMP N 2 Sedayu. Instrument yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah soal tes materi statistika berupa 4 soal uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil uji independent sample t-test adanya signifikansi 2-tailed < taraf signifikansi (0,005 < 0,050) maka pembelajaran Matematika Knisley berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa.

Abstract

The Pancasila student profile strengthening project is an effort to encourage the achievement of the Pancasila student profile by using a new paradigm through project-based learning. Therefore, it is very important that schools can implement and run projects to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. However, SMK Assalafiyyah Sleman has not implemented a project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. Therefore, the purpose of this service is to provide training and knowledge about the Pancasila student profile strengthening Project as well as the steps and flows of making the Pancasila student profile strengthening Project module at SMK Assalafiyyah Sleman. The training participants were all teachers at SMK Assalafiyyah Sleman as many as 14 teachers face-to-face using an approach of active participation, coordination and socialization, and independence. The results of Community Service (PKM) show that the achievement of the success indicators that have been set, namely ≥75% of teachers understand related to the project of strengthening the profile of Pancasila students. Therefore, Community Service (PKM) has achieved the success indicators that have been set and achieved the goal of making teachers at SMK Assalafiyyah Sleman know and understand related to the project of strengthening the profile of Pancasila students. In addition, the results of the research analysis above show that with proper assistance and policy making that favors all aspects involved in the world of education in Indonesia will greatly help the programs in the independent curriculum, one of which is the Pancasila student profile strengthening project program. In addition, collaboration can be an option for schools and teachers personally to better understand the programs in the independent curriculum in order to apply them in school learning

Abstract

For teachers, digital literacy is an important ability and skill to master. One form of digital literacy that is increasingly relevant is the ability to make animated videos. However, many teachers may not yet have the skills in using Plotagon or making animated videos in general. Therefore, special training is needed to improve the digital literacy of teachers at Dharma Amiruhur High School, especially in terms of making Plotagon-assisted animation videos. This service was carried out by a team of service from Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta. Meanwhile, the service partner is SMA Dharma Amiluhur with participants being teachers at SMA Dharma Amiluhur totaling 12 people. The approach used is an active participation, activity orientation, program, and independence approach. The results of the service show that the implementation also shows that the success of the implementation of the service. The success can also be seen from the average results obtained showing that ≥80% of participants have knowledge and understanding related to Plotagon animation videos. This service made the teachers of SMA Dharma Amiluhur as participants helped in the implementation of learning.

Abstract

One of the subjects often considered challenging by students is mathematics, leading to difficulties in learning the subject. This is due to students' lack of ability to comprehend mathematical concepts. This research investigates the influence of mathematical disposition on the mathematical concept understanding of high school students. The study utilizes a correlational survey method with a quantitative approach. The study employs a quantitative approach with a correlational survey method. The population includes all twelfth-grade science students at SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. The sampling technique utilizes random sampling, with a sample size of 65 students selected from two twelfth-grade science classes. The instruments used in the research consist of a mathematical disposition questionnaire and an essay test on the ability to understand mathematical concepts. Data analysis is performed through classical assumption tests and simple regression analysis. The classical assumption tests include normality and linearity tests. The results indicate a significant positive influence of mathematical disposition on students' understanding of mathematical concepts, with a contribution of mathematical disposition to the understanding of mathematical concepts amounting to 34.8%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student learning achievement with the implementation of the TSTS type cooperative model. Based on initial observations conducted at MTsN 4 Jombang with early interviews with one of the mathematics teachers and several students of MTsN 4 Jombang, several problems were found as follows: There are still students who have not been able to solve Mathematics problems, There are still students who have not been able to understand the process of solving Mathematics problems, then there are some students who have not been able to operate a formula into solving Mathematics problems. The method used in this study is a quantitative method and uses a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The comparative hypothesis testing of two correlated samples, the researcher used calculations with the IBM SPSS Statistics 22 application with a 5% error rate. Based on the research and analysis in section IV, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the level of learning achievement of class VIII K students of MTsN 4 Denanyar Jombang before and after implementing the (TSTS) type cooperative learning model. This finding is supported by the paired t-test with a significance result of 0.000, which is lower than the established error level of 0.05

Abstract

Education is a process of maturing the quality of life. Humans carry out education in order to improve and increase their standard of living. Basic mathematics is a branch of mathematics which is often referred to as arithmetic, which studies the arithmetic operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Based on the results of a survey by conducting interviews with several class II and III students, many class II and III students at SDN Betek I did not master basic multiplication calculations, had difficulty calculating quickly and lacked interest in counting because the learning media was too monotonous and lacked variety. The aim of training in using multiplication smart board learning media is to increase students' interest in counting and provide media that is more fun and interesting for students so that students do not get bored easily when learning to count. Implementation of community service activities uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. Action and participatory methods are implemented in mentoring activities to introduce learning media created by the community service team. The result of this community service activity is that students' abilities have increased after being given training in using learning media in the form of multiplication boards and students are finding it easier to solve problems related to basic arithmetic material, especially multiplication, students are also more likely to solve basic arithmetic story problems in everyday life.

Abstract

The incidence of short toddlers or commonly known as stunting is one of the nutritional problems experienced by toddlers in the world today. Stunting is a condition of failure to grow in children under five years old as a result of chronic malnutrition, so that the child is too short for his age. The problem of stunting has a quite serious impact on the quality of human resources, especially the educational aspect. This impact is not only limited to academic achievement, but also to other aspects such as learning motivation, social abilities and the child's future. According to data from the Jombang District Health Service, in 2023 there will be approximately 534 toddlers experiencing stunting spread across all regions in Jombang Regency. Based on this explanation, community service in Randuwatang village through community service activities in the field of education took the initiative to implement a balanced nutrition socialization work program as an effort to prevent stunting, especially regarding its prevention. The method for implementing this socialization program consists of several strategic steps designed to ensure the effectiveness of activities in increasing public understanding of the importance of balanced nutrition and appropriate parenting patterns to prevent stunting. Community approach: Service implementers will start by coordinating with community leaders, village heads and posyandu cadres in Randuwatang Village. Based on the results and discussion of the implementation of community service activities with the socialization of "The Importance of Balanced Nutrition and Parenting as an Effort to Prevent Stunting" in Randuwatang Village, it was concluded that the socialization activities succeeded in increasing the community's knowledge and understanding by 80% about the importance of balanced nutrition and the dangers of stunting.
