Early childhood is a period of fundamental human development or known as the golden period because at this time the physical, intellectual, motoric, emotional, social and language development of children is taking place rapidly. Science must be introduced as a provision of knowledge for early childhood who continues to grow and develop. The introduction of science in early childhood is an effort to foster critical character, curiosity, thoroughness, exploration to find answers and think regularly through fun activities. Science is introduced from an early age as well as preparation for learning at a higher level. This research is a literature study which aims to examine the activities of playing science as an effective method of learning science for early childhood. The types of activities in playing science are: 1) playing with physical science, 2) playing with the living things science and 3) playing on earth and environmental science. Based on the results of a literature review, it was found that the playing science method was effective in early age science learning, including; improve science skills and science learning outcomes, introduce and improve basic science process skills and improve children's science concepts.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the improvement of student learning outcomes by using the school environment as a medium of learning with group investigation model. The method used in this research is quasi experiment using One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample of this research is students of class VIIB SMPN 5 Denpasar. The results showed that there were significant differences in learning outcomes (p = 0,000 *) between before and after school-based learning by using group investigation model. So it can be concluded that the model of study group investigation based on school environment as a medium of learning can improve student learning outcomes.

Environmental damage that has occurred recently, caused a various biosecurity problems. However, the people knowledge, understanding and awareness about these are still low. The ecoliteracy is a strategic approach for enggaging young generation in manage biosecurity issues. The purpose of this study is to evaluate how far undergraduate teacher training students able to increase their social skill, as one important aspect for successful management of biosecurity, after following biosecurity ecoliteracy. It was excecuted through class action research toward 30 undergraduate students of Biology Education Department, University of Mahasaraswati Denpasar. They followed indoor and outdoor learning based on cooperative learning approach and group investigation techniques nearly two month (August-September 2009), with twice face to face interaction in a week. Their behavior were observed using a rubric with four Likert Scalle, and data was analyzed with z-test. Nearly all components social skill of students were increasing significantly: contribution to group objectives (P =0.000), contribution to group knowledge (P=0.000), and sharing ideas (P=0.000). These showed that cooperative learning and group investigation are strongly tool for encouraging social skill in biosecurity ecoliteracy.

Pendidikan diperlukan agar mampu memfasilitasi potensi dan kreativitas siswa, tetapi kenyataannya implementasi pembelajaran kurang bervariasi menyebabkan kreativitas siswa kurang optimal. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan menganalisis efektivitas implementasi PjBL berbasis barang bekas terhadap kreativitas siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-eksperimental rancangan One-Group Pretest-Posttest, yang dilakukan bulan Februari-Mei 2020 di SMA (SLUA) Saraswati 1 Denpasar. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA (SLUA) Saraswati 1 Denpasar, dan sampelnya adalah siswa kelas X IIS 1 LAB yang didapatkan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrument penelitian berupa rubrik kreativitas siswa dengan lima kriteria pengamatan berdasarkan tampilan dan inovasi, kelengkapan materi, desain dan penggunaan barang bekas, kemampuan elaborasi dan presentasi. Data kreativitas dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan Mann Whitney U Test. Penelitian ini menunjukan adanya perbedaan yang nyata antara penilaian kreativitas 1 dan 2 yang dibuktikan dengan uji statistik dengan taraf sig. P=0,001Kesimpulan dari penelitian menunjukkan implementasi PjBL berbasis barang bekas efektif meningkatkan kreativitas siswa.

Peningkatan CO2 di atmosfer yang berpotensi menghasilkan pemanasan global telah menjadi perhatian bagi kehidupan manusia. Lautan mengandung lima puluh kali lebih besar CO2 daripada atmosfer dan menjadi penyangga yang membatasi konsentrasi CO2 dalam atmosfer. CO2 mengalami perubahan secara terus menerus antara udara-lautan dan konsentrasi CO2 di dalam laut dikendalikan oleh parameter fisika, kimia, dan biologi. Perubahan konsentrasi CO2 antara udara-lautan dapat ditentukan dari interaksi gas dan perbedaan konsentrasi CO2 antara udara-lautan. Perubahan CO2 antara udara-lautan dapat dikaji dari studi kecepatan angin, koefisien gesekan kecepatan angin yang diperoleh dari satelit ALOS/PALSAR di daerah Selat Badung dan Selat Lombok, salinitas, dan juga dengan SST yang diperoleh dari satelit MODIS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa koefisien perubahan CO2, perbedaan tekanan CO2 antara udara-lautan, dan CO2 flux antara udara-lautan secara berturut-turut yaitu 0.303±0.006 (rata-rata±standar deviasi) (mol m-2 month-1µatm-1), 17.94±10.79 ?atm, and 5.35±3.26 (mol m-2 month-1), dengan nilai maksimum dan minimum dari koefisien perubahan CO2 secara berturut-turut terjadi pada bulan Agustus dan Februari.

Taman Sari is a seam effort done by the owner of this business. Tailor Taman Sari has obstacles in the process of finishing products in the form of T-shirts, that is not able to provide a pattern of stitching chain sticks on the neck of the T-shirt that is the product of this seam effort. In addition, this stitching business always hire printing services in designing text that must be printed on the product, and printing services are in Denpasar, thus making the cost, time and energy to be ineffective. To overcome this, the team of IbM Unmas Denpasar helped this effort by providing chain sticks and a set of computer graphics. The efficiency of chain sticks on the productivity of Taman Sari tailor business is measured by using an open questionnaire containing the production amount for 4 months. The result of descriptive analysis showed an increase of quantity of Taman Sari tailor's shirt production for 4 months, but the result of statistic analysis showed no significant difference (p <0,068 *), this was due to the limitations of the sample studied. From the research results can be concluded that with the existence of chain sticks machine, the effectiveness of the production of Tailor Taman Sari can be improved.

The main purpose of this community science and technology program is to improve health and optimize the potential of SDN 1 Perean Kangin in learning activities. There are a number of problems that SDN 1 Peran Kangin has, namely: 1) there are still many students who cannot brush their teeth properly, 2) students cannot wash their hands according to the guidelines of the Department of Health in the school yard and 4) there is no trash can classroom. To overcome these problems, technology transfer is needed through counseling activities, and demonstrations in the field. From the activities that have been done, the results are 1) students are able to brush their teeth properly because of the direction and demonstration from the dentist 2) students are able to wash their hands according to the MOH instructions, 3) the plants in the school yard have labeled the Latin name of the plant , 4) each class room has organic and non-organic bins.

Desa Kesiut yang terletak di Kabupaten Tabanan Bali merupakan salah satu desa yang menjadi Prioritas Nasional. Desa Kesiut merupakan desa agraris, dimana sebagian besar penduduk desa bermata pencaharian sebagai petani padi dan sebagian besar wilayah desa Kesiut merupakan area persawahan. Pengelolaan pertanian di desa Kesiut melibatkan kelompok tani, salah satu kelompok tani yang berada di desa Kesiut adalah kelompok Tani Bakti Pertiwi. Kelompok Tani Bakti Pertiwi terdiri dari 15 orang anggota dan masing-masing anggota memiliki areal sawah lebih dari 1000m2. Mereka menangani semua sawah yang dimiliki secara bersama-sama. Namun, walaupun telah dilakukan secara bersama, masih banyak kendalan yang mereka alami. Permasalahan prioritas yang dialami oleh kelompok Tani Bakti Pertiwi diantaranya adalah : Permasalahan saat pasca panen mesin perontok padi masih menyewa sehingga mitra mengeluarkan biaya yang cukup besar, Jerami padi yang dihasilkan tidak dimanfaatkan dengan benar. Melalui kegiatan PKM ini, kami berusaha menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh kelompok Tani Bakti Pertiwi. Maka dari itu, tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini pada kelompok Tani Bakti Pertiwi adalah: Untuk mengatasi permasalahan saat panen padi, kami akan menerapkan teknologi mesin perontok padi Untuk jerami yang merupakan limbah hasil panen padi akan diolah menjadi pupuk kompos, sehingga jerami yang biasanya dibakar yang memiliki potensi hara akan menjadi lebih berguna bagi petani dan ramah lingkungan serta dapat meningkatkan nilai ekonomi yang besar.

Religious activities in Bali are never separated from the supporting facilities and infrastructure needed to organize the ceremony. So many facilities are needed so that many small and medium businesses are emerging to meet the needs of the Upakara. Jaje uli is one of the traditional Balinese snacks that is always used in every religious ceremony. This makes the production of jaje uli more attractive due to promising results. In Luwus Village, there are Mekar groups and Kube Cempaka which produce jaje uli. But unfortunately, the production activities of these two groups experienced problems due to the lack of facilities and infrastructure to increase their production businesses. For this reason in this activity the PKM Unmas Denpasar team provided assistance for production facilities as well as financial management and product labeling. The results of this PKM activity are that partners are still able to produce jaje uli during the rainy season, and are able to start maintaining the hygiene and hiegiene of the product in the production process, as well as knowing the exact amount of profit in its production activities. This is certainly very helpful for partners to manage their business so they can remain productive. Management activities, especially bookkeeping are needed in this medium business, because financial statements can be used to describe the financial condition of a business. So it can be concluded that the activities of the community partnership program that have been implemented are able to help groups of entrepreneurs in the field of production and management. The target can be achieved and in accordance with the expected outcomes, namely that it has been able to equip the facilities and infrastructure in the field of production and is able to manage partners to create financial flows.
