Abstract

The study tested the leadership variable, intellectual ability and work environment on employee performance at the Tanah Jawa District Office, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra, which amounted to 32 employee. The study used quantitative and qualitative methods . The results showed that the questionnaire data instrument items were declared valid and reliable. The regression equation produces a positive correlation between the variables of leadership, intellectual ability and work environment on employee performance with the work environment variable having the greatest relationship to employee performance. Partially (t test) shows leadership has a significant influence on employee performance, intellectual ability has a significant influence on employee performance, work environment has a significant influence on employee performance. Simultaneously the variables of leadership, intellectual ability and work environment have a positive and significant influence on performance This shows that leadership, intellectual ability and work environment when running well in an organization and being able to become a carrying capacity for employees will have a positive impact on employee performance.

Abstract

The main goal of this study is to examine the variables that affect MSMEs in Pematangsiantar City s behavioral intention to utilize the QRIS digital payment instrument. A causal quantitative research strategy was used in this study. 250 SMEs served as the study s sample population. Partial Least Squares is the technique used for data analysis (PLS). The statistical program Smartpls 3.0 is used by the data analysis test tool. The results of this study conclude performance expectancy and social influence have a positive but not significant effect on behavioral intention. This study also concludes that effort expectancy, hedonic motivation, trust, lifestyle compatibility, and habit positively and significantly affect behavioral intention. The managerial implications of this research mention that habit and trust are the main factors for MSME actors to adopt payment systems with QRIS. This of course can be used as a recommendation for QRIS providers to improve the performance of several QRIS platforms in the form of increasing security features, so that this will foster a sense of comfort and high trust from users to use and recommend QRIS to others.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out with the aim of providing socialization for efforts to respect the content/work of others on social media. This activity was organized by KOMINFO Indonesia Maju with the main theme being the 2021 Digital Literacy National Movement. This activity was held on Wednesday, 17 November 2021 at 13.00 WIB until it was finished. This activity is carried out online through the zoom application. About 200 participants took part in this webinar activity. The target of the socialization is the people who live in the city of Pematang Siantar, North Sumatra Province. The results obtained from this webinar activity are increasing awareness and also digital literacy competence which is the most important milestone in educating social media users in ethics, especially in avoiding plagiarism of content or other people's work on social media which can have a negative impact on its users itself

Abstract

The reform of civil servant bureaucracy today is expected to be able to produce good civil servant performance in supporting a good public service system to the community. The implementation of integrity as a moral value and honesty in carrying out the work of civil servants can support their performance and organizational support is expected to always be given to employees so that the ability to manage their performance can be achieved. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of organizational integrity and support on employee performance at the Suka Mbayak Village Head Office located in Suka Mbayak Village, Karo Regency with a total of 37 employees. By using SPSS, the results of the study found the direction coefficient of multiple regression found a positive direction of integrity and organizational support for employee performance. The hypothetical results found a positive and significant influence of integrity on employee performance and a positive and significant influence of organizational support on employee performance. With the high integrity of employees and good organizational support for employees, it will directly or indirectly produce good performance as well.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of teacher professionalism variables on teacher performance at Sultan Agung Pematng Siantar Private High School totaling 41 teachers, consisting of Foundation Permanent Teachers and Foundation Non-Permanent Teachers. The results of the questionnaire distribution show that the research instrument for the variables of teacher professionalism and teacher performance has valid and reliable criteria, with the condition that the research variables have a normal distribution due to asymp values. Sig. (2-tailed) of each variable ≥ α 0.05. The results of the coefficient determination showed that the ability of professional variables to teacher performance was 0.54 or 54%, and had a strong correlation. For the regression equation, it shows the value of the equation Y = 18.442 + 1.739, which means that there is an influence of a positive direction coefficient of professionalism on teacher performance variables in Sultan Agung Pematang Siantar Private High School Teachers. The results of the hypothesis show that there is an influence of a positive direction coefficient of professionalism on teacher performance variables in Sultan Agung Pematang Siantar Private High School Teachers.

Abstract

Digitalization has changed human behavior in carrying out various activities, one of which is consumer behavior in shopping. Nowadays, many consumers often make purchases of products online. However, certain products actually require a more in-depth product evaluation before consumers decide to buy the product, which can only be done by shopping offline, one of them is fashion products. This research is conducted to identify the factors that motivate consumers in Indonesia to shop online or offline and determine whether there are differences between these motivating factors based on the demographic characteristics of consumers. Data collection is carried out by distributing questionnaires online through whatsapp and telegram groups during June-July 2021, which resulted in 162 responses. Chi-Square, Mann-Whitney, and Kruskal-Wallis tests are used to test the hypothesis. The results prove that the relationship between the motivating factors to shop offline and preferred shopping method with the consumer demographic characteristics, most of them show insignificant results. Different results are shown in the relationship between the motivating factors to shop online with the consumer demographic characteristics, which most of them show significant results (age group, marital status and education level). Furthermore, research data also shows that more than half of the respondents still prefer to shop for fashion products offline rather than online although in the Covid-19 pandemic situation because they want to evaluate the product physically. Suggestions for future researchs to adopt a more representative sampling technique to replicate this research and adopt different product categories to explore how consumers behave in other product categories. This research provides a deeper understanding of consumer shopping behavior for fashion products both online and offline as well as provides an overview that there is still a future for offline fashion product stores to survive in competition with online stores by improving themselves to deal with consumer purchases in this new normal era.

Abstract

Market orientation, which includes understanding consumer needs, responding to competitors, and coordinating between business functions, is considered a factor that can improve the competitiveness of MSMEs by better adjusting their products and services to consumer preferences. On the other hand, implementing green supply chain management, which focuses on environmentally friendly practices throughout the supply chain, can improve the company's image and operational efficiency, thereby providing a more sustainable competitive advantage. This study aims to analyze the effect of market orientation and green supply chain management on competitive advantage in culinary sector MSMEs. Through survey methods and regression analysis, this study attempts to find the relationship between these variables in the context of MSMEs. The study results concluded that market orientation and green supply chain management positively and significantly affect the competitive advantage of culinary sector MSMEs. These findings are expected to provide insight for MSMEs in the culinary sector about the importance of adopting market orientation and green supply chain management strategies to strengthen their competitive position amidst increasingly tight competition and increasing consumer environmental awareness.

Abstract

This research aims to build a model for strengthening employee engagement in the creative industry by examining the role of self-efficacy and perceived organizational support as the main predictors. This research uses quantitative methods to survey employees in various creative industry sectors in Indonesia. The population in this study comprises creative sector industry workers, and the population size is unknown. In this research, researchers used a purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 130 employees. The data analysis method used is based on regression analysis using the IBM SPSS 23 program. The results of the data analysis conclude that self-efficacy and perceived organizational support have a positive and significant effect on employee engagement. The results of this research can provide theoretical and practical contributions to human resource management in the creative industries. These findings are expected to show that self-efficacy and perceived organizational support significantly influence employee engagement and can be a basis for companies to design more effective employee management strategies.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran profitabilitas, kebijakan dividen, dan nilai perusahaan serta pengaruh profitabilitas dan kebijakan dividen terhadap nilai perusahaan pada PT Astra Otoparts, Tbk yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia secara simultan dan parsial. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Objek penelitian ini adalah PT Astra Otoparts, Tbk yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2006 sampai tahun 2015. Metode yang digunakan untuk analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linier berganda, koefisien korelasi, koefisien determinasi, dan uji hipotesis (uji F dan uji t). Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan bantuan program Sofware Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) versi 20.0.Hasil analisa dari regresi linier berganda yaitu: Ŷ = 152,765 + 4,279X1 – 0,643X2. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas mempunyai pengaruh positif dan kebijakan dividen mempunyai pengaruh negatif terhadap nilai perusahaan. Hasil kolerasi yaitu r = 0,877 artinya hubungan antara profitabilitas dan kebijakan dividen dengan nilai perusahaan sangat kuat. Dari koefisien determinasi nilai perusahaan dapat dijelaskan oleh profitabilitas dan kebijakan dividen sebesar 77% dan sisanya 23% dijelaskan variabel atau faktor lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini. Hipotesis penelitian H0 ditolak dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,006 lebih kecil dari 5% atau 0,006 < 0,05, artinya profitabilitas dan kebijakan dividen secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan pada PT Astra Otoparts, Tbk yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia.

Abstract

Saat ini merek dari suatu produk merupakan modal utama dari perusahaan untuk mampu bersaing dan juga memberi kepuasan kepada konsumen, terutama merek dari produk lokal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari branding produk lokal kopi Kok Tong terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Hasil untuk uji intrumen validitas dan reliabilitas ditemukan bahwa branding produk dan kepuasan konsumen memiliki kriteria valid, demikian juga untuk uji reliabilitas bahwa branding produk dan kepuasan konsumen memiliki kriteria handal. Untuk uji persamaan regresi ditemukan hasil bahwa Y = 37.600 + 0,377X, dimana dari persamaan ini terdapat suatu kesimpulan bahwa branding produk memiliki koefisien arah yang positif terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Kemudian untuk hipotesa dapat ditemukan suatau jawaban bahwa branding produk memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen, hal ini berarti bahwa branding produk memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen karena branding yang kuat meningkatkan kepercayaan, kepuasan emosional, dan keseluruhan pengalaman konsumen terhadap produk.
