Abstract

Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini berfokus agar mampu untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan juga agar guru mampu mengasah kemampuan kecerdasan spiritual dari guru di SDN 091440 Manik Hataran Kabupaten Simalungun, Sumatera Utara. Metode yang digunakan dengan metode workshop, dan hasilnya pada saat sesi tanya jawab masih ditemukan para guru SDN 091440 Manik Hataran Kabupaten Simalungun, Sumatera Utara yang kompetensinya masih belum optimal dan juga guru mash sering lupa dalam menerapkan prinsip-prinsip spritualisme pada saat proses pembelajaran kemudian kurangnya motivasi guru dalam mengajar. Dengan adanya workshop tersebut besar harapan ke depannya bahwa guru di SDN 091440 Manik Hataran Kabupaten Simalungun, Sumatera Utara mampu meningkatkan kompetensinya serta selalu menerapkan spritualisme serta adanya motivasi yang tinggi dalam mengajar terhadap murid-muridnya

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide understanding, skills and knowledge in the preparation of financial statements. This community service was conducted at UMKM Sahabat in Nagori Karang Bangun Huta IV, Siantar District, Simalungun Regency. The method of implementation of this activity is carried out using the method of action research activities. The service team conducted activities consisting of two activities, namely the supply of financial report preparation instruments as well as training workshops on the preparation of financial statements. This assistance is done with a sense of kinship so that this assistance runs smoothly, relaxed, directed and the material remains mastered by partners with interactive discussion mentoring methods

Abstract

In today’s competitive business environment, corporate debt policy significantly influences financial stability and growth, shaped by firm-specific factors like profitability, liquidity, and asset structure. This study aims to examine how these factors affect debt policy decisions through a systematic literature review. The review analyzes 42 peer-reviewed articles published between 2020 and 2025, sourced from databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, and Emerald Insight, using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses framework. Findings reveal that profitability generally reduces debt reliance, as firms favor internal financing, aligning with the Pecking Order Theory. Liquidity also tends to decrease borrowing, though it can enhance creditworthiness in capital-intensive sectors. Conversely, asset structure, particularly tangible assets, consistently correlates positively with debt, supporting the Trade-Off Theory by providing collateral. Contextual factors like industry, firm size, and economic conditions influence these relationships. The study concludes that while established theories explain debt policy, contextual nuances necessitate tailored financial strategies. This review contributes to corporate finance by offering a comprehensive, theory-driven synthesis, highlighting practical implications for managers and identifying future research avenues to address sector-specific and regional variations.

Abstract

The State Civil Apparatus (ASN) today has a basic value of work ethics and culture, this is known as CoreValue Berahlak, and is used as a guideline in the process of carrying out its duties and functions as a public servant. This research uses a qualitative method, which contains a description of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) as a public servant, and is always guided by the provisions provided by the government, which in this case are guidelines for the CoreValue Berahlak. By applying BERAKHLAK values (Service-Oriented, Accountable, Competent, Harmonious, Loyal, Adaptive, and Collaborative), ASN can work more professionally and quality in providing services to the community. BERAKHLAK Core Values are not just a slogan, but as the main principle that must be applied by every ASN to create quality, professional, and community-oriented public services

Abstract

This socialization activity on the introduction and benefits of the TOEFL function was conducted with the aim of enhancing the understanding of the students of SMA Swasta Teladan Pematangsiantar, particularly the eleventh-grade students, regarding the importance of the TOEFL test as one of the requirements in education and employment. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is an international standardized test that measures English language proficiency in four main skills: reading, listening, writing, and speaking. Unfortunately, many high school students still lack understanding about the function, format, and benefits of this test. Therefore, this socialization activity was designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the concept of TOEFL, its test types (ITP, iBT, and CBT), question structure, and basic strategies for taking the test. Through material presentation, interactive discussions, and practice sessions, this activity is expected to motivate students to take English learning more seriously and to prepare themselves early. The results showed that students responded positively, with enthusiasm, and began to realize the importance of TOEFL as a valuable asset for their academic and professional future.

Abstract

Nowadays, e-payment is one of the most attractive payment models for consumers in making purchases, especially with purchases made through e-commerce. The purpose of this study was to look at the e-payment system on purchasing decisions through e-commerce. The results of data analysis show that the instruments of the research variables e-payment and purchasing decisions show valid and reliable results. The value for the coefficient of determination of the research results shows the ability of the e-payment variable to explain purchasing decisions is 61%, while the rest is a variable that is not discussed in this study. The results of the regression equation Y = 7, 498 + 0.748X, this shows a positive direction coefficient value of e-payment on purchasing decisions, and the hypothesis results show positive and significant results from e-payment on purchasing decisions in e-commerce. which means that the more people use the E-Payment method, the more likely consumers are to decide to make purchases in E-commerce

Abstract

A good marketing concept is when it is able to make promotion a component that supports consumer purchasing decisions from the results of the business being run. The purpose of the study was conducted to determine the effect of promotion on purchasing decisions for the fashion brand M231. The results showed that the promotion variable had valid criteria and also the purchase decision also had valid criteria. The reliability test shows that promotions and purchasing decisions have reliable criteria. Then the results of the coefficient of determination show that the ability of promotion to explain purchasing decisions is 41%, and has a strong correlation. While the rest is not the main variable discussed in this study. The results of the simple regression equation Y = 30.980 + 0.478X, this shows that promotion has a positive direction coefficient on purchasing decisions, while for the partial hypothesis test it shows that there is a positive and significant effect of promotion on purchasing decisions

Abstract

Servant leadership is currently emerging as a modern leadership style that is expected to produce good performance for the organization. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine whether service leadership is able to affect employee performance, the results of the study found that servant leadership has a positive and significant coefficient on performance, it is shown through the results of the equation Y = 7.610 + 0.492 X, then the results of the hypothesis show that service leadership has a positive and significant effect on performance. This means that leaders who are able to serve as servants for their members will be able to provide positive results on the performance of their members, and if leaders can become servants directly, they will create high loyalty for their members and reduce turnover rates for the organization.

Abstract

The ability of an organization to be able to achieve its goals cannot be separated from the ability of employees to always be involved in their work and apply work discipline that applies in the organization. The results of a study of civil servants of the Regional Secretariat of Samosir Regency as many as 118 people, using Slovin formula were obtained by respondents 91 employees. For instrument validity tests, valid results are found, while for reliability, reliable results are found. The equation of multiple regression found that work involvement and work discipline found a positive direction coefficient on employee performance with the results of the equation. Then for a partial test, it was found that employee involvement had a positive and significant influence on employee performance, the influence of work discipline on employee performance found positive and significant results on employee performance. Simultaneously, the results were obtained that work involvement and work discipline had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. When employees are always involved in their work and are able to follow all work disciplines applied by the organization, it will directly produce good performance as well.

Abstract

Abstrak – Peningkatan kualitas pelayanan merupakan langkah strategis bagi perusahaan untuk menjamin kepuasan konsumen, khususnya apabila pelayanan yang diterima dan dirasakan (perceived service) sesuai dengan harapan konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada Café Jerapah di Kota Pematang Siantar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan bahwa instrumen untuk variabel kualitas pelayanan dan kepuasan konsumen memenuhi standar validitas. Uji reliabilitas juga menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel tersebut reliabel. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Dengan demikian, peningkatan kualitas pelayanan secara langsung berpengaruh dan dapat meningkatkan kepuasan konsumen di Café Jerapah.   Kata kunci: kualitas pelayanan, kepuasan konsumen, café     Abstract – Improving service quality is a strategic step for companies to ensure customer satisfaction, particularly when the services received and perceived align with customer expectations. This study aims to examine the influence of service quality on customer satisfaction at Café Jerapah in Pematang Siantar City. The research employed a quantitative method with a descriptive approach and simple linear regression analysis. The validity test results indicated that the instruments for both service quality and customer satisfaction variables met the validity standards. The reliability tests also showed that both variables were reliable. The regression analysis revealed that service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Therefore, enhancing service quality can directly give effect and improve customer satisfaction at Café Jerapah.   Keywords: service quality, customer satisfaction, café
