Abstract

The presence of archives in the office has an important role in supporting the smooth work of employees This research aims to find out the governance of archives in the Postgraduate Program of the State University of Makassar. This research is qualitative, therefore to achieve the research objectives, data collection techniques are used, namely observation/observation, interviews and documentation with 3 informants, namely the Head of Administration and archival employees at the Postgraduate Program of Universitas Negeri Makassar. The results of the study show that archival governance in the Postgraduate Program of Universitas Negeri Makassar using four indicators, namely, 1) receipt and recording of archives is carried out by classifying documents based on each study program and for recording archives is carried out manually and also classified based on education level, 2) archive storage is carried out by entering into a bundle folder based on each study program After that, it is put into the filing cabinet, 3) Archive maintenance is carried out after four years of graduation or the student judiciary period. The maintenance of archives to remain authentic is by checking or reviewing documents or files that have been saved and then saving the documents in a folder folder, and 4) shrinkage and destruction of archives is carried out by employees after the four-year student judiciary period, archives that have expired will be taken down to the warehouse or given to the cleaning service for weighing. The supporting factor in archive management is the cooperation between employees so that work related to archives can be completed quickly. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is that there has not been an archive destroyer/destroyer so that the archives that are due to be destroyed are only given to the cleaning service to be weighed. In this study, using several latest indicators that can answer the formulation of research problems ranging from the stage of receiving and recording archives to shrinking and destroying archives in the Postgraduate Program of Universitas Negeri Makassar. The results of the study revealed several supporting factors and inhibiting factors in archival governance at the Postgraduate Program of Universitas Negeri Makassar in depth

Abstract

This study aims to measure the performance of employees in using the mail application information system (SIAP GAKKUM) at the Environmental and Forestry Law Enforcement and Security Center in the Sulawesi region. Because this research is qualitative, the data collection techniques used to achieve the research objectives are observation, interviews, and documentation. There are five informants, namely four employees and the center's head. The results of the study stated that 1) The performance of employees in the use of the correspondence application information system (SIAP GAKKUM) is good, but it is still necessary to hold a training seminar for each employee so that they are more fluent in using the application; 2) There are still many employees who are still not fluent in using or operating the correspondence application information system (SIAP GAKKUM) so that sometimes they have to be assisted by the admin of the correspondence section; and 3) The role of superiors is no less critical in supervising employee performance when using the correspondence application information system (SIAP GAKKUM) because when superiors provide encouragement or motivation, they can use the application better.

Abstract

Learning in Vocational High Schools (SMK) still faces challenges in integrating general and productive subjects, resulting in partial learning and not fully providing meaningful learning experiences. This study aims to explore the implementation of in-depth learning through cross-subject collaboration in the Plant Agribusiness Expertise Program at SMK Negeri 4 Barru and SMKS Islam Pesantren Alam Indonesia, Barru Regency. The study used an exploratory qualitative approach and was conducted from October 2025 to March 2026. Twenty-eight informants, consisting of two principals, 12 teachers, and 14 students, were selected purposively. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña through data condensation, data presentation, and drawing and verifying conclusions. The results of the study show four main findings. First, in-depth learning is implemented through collaboration between productive subjects with Mathematics, Indonesian, and English in project-based learning. Second, students are actively involved in every stage of learning, from project planning to presentation of results. Third, teacher competence and collaboration, principal support, student motivation, and the utilization of the learning environment are supporting factors, while limited facilities and infrastructure, time allocation, and the preparedness of some teachers are inhibiting factors. Fourth, the implementation of immersive learning results in a conscious, meaningful, and enjoyable learning experience and develops students' critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, and independence skills. These findings provide an empirical contribution to the development of immersive learning in vocational education.

Abstract

Objective: This study examines the predictive contribution of learning motivation, learning facilities, and parental support to learning outcomes among agricultural vocational students in Takalar Regency. Method: Using a quantitative ex-post facto design, 135 students from agricultural programs (ATPH, APHP, ATP) at vocational schools in Takalar Regency were involved. Motivation, facilities, and parental support were measured via questionnaires; learning outcomes were obtained from documented average grades. After outlier screening removed 14 cases, the final analytic sample was 121 students. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, with 95% confidence intervals reported for all coefficients. Findings: The model was significant, F(3, 117) = 5,950, p < .001, explaining 13,2% of the variance in learning outcomes (R² = .132). Learning motivation (B = -0.052, β = -.095, p = .298, 95% CI [-.151, .047]) and Learning facilities (B = -0.079, β = -.113, p = .216, 95% CI [-.205, .047]) showed no significant relationship with learning outcomes. Parental support was a significant negative predictor (B = -0.114, β = -.358, p < .001, 95% CI [-.168, -.060]), a statistical association that should not be read as causal. Research Implications: Recommendations should focus on the proportionality and form of parental involvement rather than generalized integrated school-teacher-parent support, since motivation and facilities were non-significant and the model's explanatory power remains low. Conclusions are preliminary and require further study. Value: This study fills a gap in simultaneous empirical research on these three variables among agricultural vocational students in Takalar Regency, a context still rarely examined.
