Abstract

Keterlambatan perkembangan bahasa pada anak prasekolah masih tinggi, dimana di Amerika Serikat mencapai sekitar (12-26%) dan di Indonesia sendiri mencapai (22%) keterlambatan perkembangan bahasa, salah satunya disebabkan karena kurangnya pengetahuan dan sikap ibu dalam memberikan stimulasi serta deteksi dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan menilai pengaruh Aplikasi FITRIS (Fitur Deteksi Dini Dan Stimulasi Perkembangan Bahasa) terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap ibu mengenai perkembangan bahasa anak prasekolah. Penelitian menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimental pre-post test dengan 90 peserta (45 intervensi, 45 kontrol) melalui consecutive sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner valid dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil menunjukkan Aplikasi FITRIS berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan (p=0,000) dan sikap ibu (p=0,000). Aplikasi ini membantu ibu memberikan stimulasi dan melakukan deteksi dini pada anak usia 36–72 bulan, serta bisa dijadikan media edukasi dalam program Bina Keluarga Balita (BKB) di Puskesmas untuk mencegah keterlambatan perkembangan bahasa. Kata kunci: aplikasi FITRIS, pengetahuan, perkembangan bahasa, prasekolah, sikap Language development delay in preschool children remains high, reaching approximately 12–26% in the United States and 22% in Indonesia. One of the contributing factors is the lack of maternal knowledge and attitudes toward providing stimulation and conducting early detection of language development. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of the FITRIS Application (Featuring Early Detection and Stimulation of Language Development) on mothers’ knowledge and attitudes regarding preschool children’s language development. A quasi-experimental pre–post test design was employed involving 90 participants (45 in the intervention group and 45 in the control group) selected through consecutive sampling. Data were collected using validated questionnaires and analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the FITRIS Application had a significant effect on improving mothers’ knowledge (p = 0.000) and attitudes (p = 0.000). This application assists mothers in providing stimulation and performing early detection of language development in children aged 36–72 months and can be utilized as an educational medium within the Bina Keluarga Balita (BKB) program at Primary Health Centers (Puskesmas) to prevent language development delays. Abstract

Abstrak: Pertolongan pertama merupakan keterampilan dasar penting bagi siswa, khususnya anggota Palang Merah Remaja (PMR), agar mampu memberikan bantuan awal saat terjadi kegawatdaruratan di sekolah. Di SMAN 16, keterampilan tersebut belum optimal akibat kurangnya kaderisasi dan minimnya pengulangan materi, terutama dalam teknik pembidaian. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa PMR melalui pelatihan pertolongan pertama berfokus pada pembidaian. Metode yang digunakan mencakup teori dan praktik melalui pre-test, pemberian materi, demonstrasi, simulasi keterampilan, serta post-test untuk evaluasi hasil belajar. Sebanyak 30 siswa PMR menjadi mitra kegiatan. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan tes tertulis dan observasi praktik. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan (rata-rata nilai naik dari 70 menjadi 96) dan keterampilan pembidaian yang lebih sistematis serta sesuai standar. Peserta juga menunjukkan peningkatan kepercayaan diri dan kesiapan menjadi kader kesehatan sebaya. Pelatihan ini efektif meningkatkan kapasitas siswa dan direkomendasikan untuk dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan di sekolah.Abstract: First aid is an essential basic skill for students, especially members of the Indonesian Red Cross Youth (PMR), to be able to provide initial assistance in case of emergencies at school. At SMAN 16, these skills are not yet optimal due to a lack of training and minimal repetition of material, especially in splinting techniques. This service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of PMR students thru first aid training focused on splinting. The methods used include theory and practice thru pre-tests, material delivery, demonstrations, skills simulations, and post-tests to evaluate learning outcomes. A total of 30 PMR students partnered for the activity. Evaluation is conducted thru written tests and practical observation. The results showed a significant improvement in knowledge (average score increased from 70 to 96) and more systematic and standardized splinting skills. Participants also showed increased confidence and readiness to become peer health educators. This training is effective in increasing student capacity and is recommended for continuous implementation in schools.

Abstract

Background: Language development is vital in toddlerhood. In Indonesia, language and speech delays in children aged 36–48 months range from 5–10%.Objective: This study aims to see the effect of leaflet media on the knowledge and attitudes of mothers.Method: This quantitative research uses the research design "Quasy Experimental Pre-Post Test With Control Group". The population in the study was all mothers with children aged 36–48 months in the Lubuk Buaya Padang Health Center working area in 2023, with a total population of 955. There were 30 samples, consisting of 15 intervention groups and 15 control groups. The sampling method used is non-probability sampling, namely, consecutive sampling.Result: The results of this study showed that there was a significant influence after being given leaflet media interventions to mothers on changes in knowledge (p = 0.002) and attitudes (p = 0.008), while the p-value of the control group for knowledge variables (p = 0.001) and attitudes (p = 0.056).Conclusion: It is hoped that nurses at the Public Health Center can educate mothers about stimulation and early detection of language development in children aged 36-48 months, and mothers are expected to be able to spare or provide their time to read the leaflets that have been given and repeat them to understand the contents and carry out all forms of stimulation and early detection of language development in children according to what is stated in the leaflet
