Abstract

The problem of child crime is a very complex problem in its handling which is increasing every year. Indonesia as a country that ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child which regulates the principle of legal protection for children has an obligation to provide special protection for children in conflict with the law. The purpose of this study is to examine the detention of children as perpetrators of criminal acts at the investigation level in the jurisdiction of the Bone Police in accordance with the provisions of Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning Juvenile Justice. This research method uses an empirical juridical approach, namely a legal approach that combines normative aspects (Law as regulations) with empirical aspects not only looking at written legal rules, but also how these rules are applied and understood in the practice of community life. The research results showed that the implementation of detention of child suspects at the Bone Police Department has been optimal, as stipulated in Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning Juvenile Justice, specifically regarding child detention. Obstacles identified include the absence of a dedicated unit to handle child issues, a lack of professional staff, limited budgets for the investigation process, and the lack of government involvement in implementing policies on juvenile justice. It is recommended that the local government and the police collaborate to disseminate information on laws and regulations regarding the child investigation process and legal protection for children in conflict.

Abstract

This research examines the effectiveness of scientific writing training in improving participants' writing skills. The training method is a direct practice approach with mentoring, intensive training, discussion, and reflection sessions. The instruments used to measure writing ability before and after training are scientific writing assessment rubrics and self-assessment questionnaires. The research results showed a significant increase in participants' writing abilities after attending the training. Before the training, most participants had limited writing skills, especially in writing structure, data presentation, and scientific argumentation. However, after the training, participants significantly improved written structure, argumentation clarity, and analysis depth. Apart from that, this training also helped participants to develop a critical attitude towards literature and hone their ability to integrate knowledge from various sources to support the argument. Participants also received positive responses regarding the interactive training methods and in-depth approach to scientific writing techniques. This research concludes that scientific writing training effectively improves participants' writing skills. Therefore, it is recommended that similar training focusing on various aspects of scientific writing be carried out to support the development of participants' academic and professional competencies.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) are educational institutions that provide religious knowledge to their students. However, apart from that, Islamic boarding schools have a significant contribution to the survival of their alumni. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of Islamic boarding schools in developing entrepreneurship among students at the Darul Ihsan Salohe Islamic Boarding School. In this study, the method used is a qualitative method that involves several data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. To analyze the data, the researcher used several steps, namely data reduction: data is collected and processed to reduce its complexity. Data presentation: The reduced data is presented in a form that is easy to understand and then conclusions are drawn. The results of this study found that the Darul Ihsan Salohe Islamic Boarding School facilitates its students to become entrepreneurs to earn their own income. This is very useful for students because they can earn money from these businesses without burdening their parents. In addition, the economy at the Islamic Boarding School can be improved by the existence of this business unit.

Abstract

Initial survey results showed that 86% of respondents stated that cafes are places to access the internet, interact, and fulfill social media needs. Internet access services in cafes require a smooth connection and coverage limited to cafe customers, with no interference from other illegal connections. The challenge is that cafe managers and owners require only devices provided by the cafe. This study aims to offer a solution by adjusting the WiFi signal strength of wireless access points. The research and design method used for WiFi signal strength management included initial identification, signal analysis, planning, and testing. The study resulted in a WiFi signal strength setting of 67%, which met the needs and limited signal coverage. RSSI values of -45 dBm to -69 dBm were sufficient to provide internet access only to cafe customers. Outside the permitted area, the WiFi signal was not received, and therefore, internet access was not possible.Hasil survey awal menunjukan bahwa 86% responden menyatakan bahwa kafe adalah tempat untuk mengakses internet, berinteraksi dan memenuhi kebutuhan bersosial media. Layanan akses internet di kafe yang dibutuhkan adalah kelancaran sambungan dan akses, jangkauan sinyal terbatas hanya untuk pelanggan kafe dan tidak ada gangguan dari penyambung tidak diijinkan. Problematika pemenuhannya adalah pihak pengelola dan pemilik kafe mengharuskan hanya menggunakan perangkat yang sudah disediakan oleh pihak kafe. Penelitian ini bertujuan menawarkan solusi penyelesaian dengan melakukan pengaturan kekuatan sinyal WiFi perangkat wireless access point. Metode yang digunakan untuk riset dan perancangan pengaturan kekuatan sinyal WiFi dengan tahapan identifikasi awal, analisa sinyal, perencanaan pengaturan dan pengujian. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan pengaturan kekuatan pancar sinyal WiFi sebesar 67% yang memenuhi kebutuhan dan membatasi jangkauan sinyal. Nilai RSSI -45 dBm sampai dengan -69 dBm cukup memberikan layanan akses internet hanya untuk konsumen kafe. Di luar area yang diijinkan terbukti tidak mendapatkan sinyal WiFi sehingga tidak mendapatkan akses layanan internet

Abstract

Building fires can cause losses in several areas, including property damage, environmental pollution, loss of life, injury, and psychological trauma. Building fires can occur due to several factors such as gas leaks, short circuits, overheating electronic devices, the presence of flammable materials, and human error. In fire mitigation efforts, devices are generally used as early warnings, but their implementation is often less than optimal due to system malfunctions. Therefore, this study aims to develop an early warning system that can detect potential fires before they spread. The methods used in this study are the naïve Bayes and fuzzy logic methods, which then compare each method to determine the most effective method. The results of this study indicate that the naïve Bayes and fuzzy logic methods have successfully classified potential fires well. From 30 experimental data, the naïve Bayes algorithm produced an accuracy of 96%, while the fuzzy logic algorithm produced an accuracy of 100%. The naïve Bayes algorithm shows reliable performance in classifying extreme data while the fuzzy algorithm can detect the ‘Danger’ status even though not all parameters are in a dangerous condition.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has a significant impact on the identity formation process of adolescents. Exposure to social media, a culture of social comparison, and the unfiltered flow of information often trigger an identity crisis, which Erik Erikson, in his psychosocial developmental stage, calls identity versus role confusion. This community service program aims to implement an Islamic counseling program as a preventive and curative effort to help adolescents build a healthy identity in the digital age. The method used is a participatory approach through group counseling, individual counseling, and psychoeducation based on the values ​​of monotheism, tazkiyatun nafs (respect for the self), and moral development. The program is implemented through a needs assessment, mentoring sessions, and evaluation of changes in participants' attitudes and understanding. The expected outcomes are increased self-awareness, controlled digital media use, and the formation of a more stable self-identity grounded in Islamic values. With an integrative approach combining psychological and spiritual aspects, Islamic counseling has the potential to become an applicable intervention model in schools and communities.

Abstract

Perkembangan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) memberikan peluang besar bagi pelaku industri rumahan untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan memperluas pasar. Namun, sebagian besar pelaku usaha masih menghadapi kendala dalam pemanfaatan teknologi, seperti keterbatasan literasi digital, kurangnya pemahaman pemasaran online, serta belum optimalnya pengelolaan administrasi berbasis digital. Kondisi ini menghambat pertumbuhan usaha dan adaptasi terhadap era digital. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pelaku industri rumahan dalam memanfaatkan TIK guna mendukung proses produksi, pemasaran, dan pengelolaan usaha. Program ini juga diarahkan untuk mendorong transformasi digital sederhana yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kapasitas mitra. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan melalui observasi, penyusunan materi pelatihan, pelaksanaan workshop berbasis praktik langsung, serta pendampingan implementasi. Materi yang diberikan mencakup penggunaan media sosial sebagai sarana promosi, pemanfaatan marketplace, serta penggunaan aplikasi pencatatan keuangan digital. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test serta monitoring perkembangan usaha setelah pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam menggunakan TIK. Pelaku industri rumahan mulai menerapkan pemasaran digital dan pencatatan keuangan berbasis aplikasi, yang berdampak pada peningkatan jangkauan pasar, efisiensi operasional, dan potensi peningkatan pendapatan. Dengan demikian, implementasi pemanfaatan TIK terbukti efektif dalam mendukung pengembangan dan keberlanjutan industri rumahan di era digital.
