Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan majalah dari hasil inventarisasi jamur makroskopis di Gunung Lembuding, Kecamatan Nanga Tayap. Secara keseluruhan, bentuk penelitian yang diterapkan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sampel jamur makroskopis diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling menggunakan metode jelajah. Setelah itu, sampel diidentifikasi untuk mengetahui jenis spesiesnya. Setelah itu, data hasil identifikasi jamur makroskopis ini dimplementasikan ke dalam bentuk media majalah yang divalidasi oleh lima orang validator. Berdasarkan hasil inventarisasi, ditemukan 31 spesies jamur makroskopis, 20 suku dari divisi Ascomycota dan Basidiomycota.  Suku jamur dari divisi Ascomycota meliputi suku Sarcoscyphaceae dan Xylariaceae. Sementara itu, dari divisi Basidiomycota meliputi Polyporaceae, Marasmiaceae, Ganodermataceae, Stereaceae, Auriculariaceae, Geastraceae, Meruliaceae, Tricholomataceae, Meripilaceae, Lentinaceae, Mycenaceae, Clavulinaceae, Schizophyllaceae, Pleurotaceae, Hygrophoraceae, Clavariaceae, Agaricaceae, dan Auriscalpiaceae. Selanjutnya, hasil validasi media majalah menyatakan bahwa majalah fungi dinyatakan valid dengan nilai CVR bernilai 1,00 di tiap kriteria. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa majalah fungi layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi fungi SMA.Kata kunci: Inventarisasi, Jamur Makroskopis, Majalah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Student Team Achivement Division berbantuan buku saku terhadap hasil belajar siswa MAN 1 Pontianak di kelas X pada materi keanekaragaman hayati. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasy Experimental Design dengan rancangan penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas X MIA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X MIA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 butir soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukan skor rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen sebanyak 17,57 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol 16,29. Berdasarkan analisis data dengan menggunakan uji U Mann-Whitney  < menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model kooperatif Student Team Achivement Division dengan model konvensional. Nilai Effect size diperoleh sebesar 0,69 dengan kategori sedang, memberikan pengaruh sebesar 25,49%. Disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran STAD berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi keanekaragaman hayati.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model Creative Problem Solving disertai LKS terhadap hasil belajar dan motivasi siswa pada materi Pencemaran Lingkungan kelas VII SMPN 2 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimental Design) dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas VIID sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIG sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah dengan cara Intact Group. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 20 butir soal. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan model Creative Problem Solving disertai LKS sebesar 17,89 lebih tinggi bila dibandingkan dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional sebesar 16,94. Dari uji U Mann Whitney, diperoleh yaitu 5,33 > 1,96, artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model Creative Problem Solving disertai LKS dan pembelajaran konvensional. Nilai effect size yang diperoleh sebesar 0,65 termasuk dalam kategori sedang dan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 24,22%. Hasil motivasi belajar kelas eksperimen yaitu 85,6% tergolong sangat kuat dan kelas kontrol yaitu 79,5% tergolong kuat.

Abstract

This research is aimed to determine the students’ achievement and critical thinking on the digestion system topic. This study was conducted using a quasi-experiment with a control group pre-test and post-test design. Furthermore, the samples were chosen using the purposive sampling technique. The instrument consisted of 20 multiple-choice tests. Findings indicate that the average student achievement is 16.71 in the experiment and 12.92 in the control class. The t-test also can be known as t-count t-table (1.71 1.68), which means a significant difference between experiment average and control average. Based on the test result in the experiment class, it can be assumed that there is an enhancement of the average percentage of students' critical thinking from 63% to 84%. Thus, it can be concluded that inquiry learning model can increase the students’ achievement and critical thinking.

Abstract

Shigella sonnei merupakan salah satu bakteri patogen penyebab disentri basiler dengan tingkat prevalensi tinggi di negara berkembang. Bakteri ini dilaporkan resisten terhadap beberapa antibiotik yang direkomendasikan WHO, sehingga diperlukan upaya pencarian senyawa antibakteri baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kandungan fitokimia dan potensi ekstrak etanol umbi, batang dan daun ginseng jawa (Talinum paniculatum) dalam menghambat pertumbuhan S. sonnei secara in vitro. Uji fitokimia ekstrak etanol menggunakan metode Kromatografi Lapis Tipis (KLT).  Potensi antibakteri dilakukan dengan menerapkan metode difusi cakram Kirby Baeur teknik swab dengan perlakuan seri  konsentrasi ekstrak  50%, 75% dan  100%, kontrol positif (tetrasiklin 20%), dan kontrol negatif (DMSO 10%) dengan 5 pengulangan. Dari hasil uji fitokimia diketahui bahwa metabolit sekunder dari golongan steroid ditemukan pada umbi, batang maupun daun ginseng jawa.  Flavonoid hanya ditemukan pada umbi dan daun.  Ekstrak etanol batang dan daun menunjukkan hasil positif untuk tanin dan fenolik.  Alkaloid, saponin dan terpenoid tidak ditemukan pada ketiga ekstrak tersebut.  Ekstrak etanol daun memiliki potensi penghambatan terhadap S. sonnei lebih besar dibandingkan umbi dan batang, terutama pada konsentrasi 100%.  Meskipun demikian zona hambat yang terbentuk masih belum cukup efektif jika dibandingkan dengan zona hambat yang dibentuk oleh kontrol positif yaitu tetrasiklin.  Shigella sonnei a pathogenic bacterium that causes bacillary dysentery – a disease with high prevalence in developing countries. This bacterium has been reported resistant to several antibiotics. Development of new antibacterial compounds is regarded necessary. This study was conducted to describe the phytochemical content and potentials of ethanol extract from the tubers, stems and leaves of fameflowers (Talinum paniculatum) in inhibiting the growth of S. sonnei in vitro. Phytochemical test was performed to the ethanol extract using Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC). Antibacterial potential was assessed using Kirby Baeur disc diffusion swab on different treatment concentrations of 50%, 75% and 100%  with positive control (20% tetracycline), and negative control (DMSO 10%) in 5 replications. The phytochemical tests showed that secondary metabolites from the steroid group were found in tubers, stems and leaves of the famefolowers. However, flavonoids were only found in tubers and leaves. The ethanol extracts of stems and leaves also contained tannins and phenolics. Furthermore, neither Alkaloids, saponins or terpenoids were found in the three extracts. In addition, ethanol extract from the leaves showed stronger inhibitory potential against S. sonnei extracts from tubers and stems, particularly at 100% concentration. However, the inhibition zone formed in the extracts was still less effective compared to the inhibition zone formed by tetracycline as positive control.

Abstract

Interactive multimedia based on Lectora inspire referred to in this research was learning media of based ICT created to use the Lectora inspire computer program. This research aims to develop learning media and determine students' responses to interactive multimedia based on Lectora inspire that appropriate to be used as learning media in the kingdom monera. This research was the ADDIE development model consisting of five stages of analyzing, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. The students response questionnaire consisted of 3 aspects namely cognitive, affective, and conative consisting was 22 items. Research subjects is students of class XI in SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak, SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak, and MAN 1 Pontianak. The results of interactive multimedia based on Lectora inspire validation for the eligibility to obtain a Content Validity Index value was 1.00 and declared valid. A small-scale trial consisting of 18 students received an average rating is a good category. Whereas a large-scale trial consisting of 36 students obtained an average score in the very good category. The results obtained it was concluded that interactive multimedia based on Lectora inspire was suitable for use as a medium in schools and there needs to be implemented to see acheviement.Keywords: Kingdom monera, lectora inspire, interactive multimedia, response

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Make A Match cooperative model and the Media Flipbook on student learning outcomes in the Class VII students of Class VII SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak material. The form of research was quasi-experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample was class VII B (experimental class) and class VII C (control class), with the intact group sampling technique. The instrument used was a multiple choice test of 20 questions. The average score of the experimental class students 'learning outcomes was 16.89, while the average score of the control class students' learning outcomes was 15.93. Based on the results of the Mann-Whitney U test, the p value (asymp sig 2 tailed) was obtained 0.034 <0.05, where there was a difference between the learning outcomes of students who were given learning using the Make A Match cooperative model and the Media Flipbook with students who were given learning using the model. conventional learning assisted by image media. Based on the Effect Size, the Make A Match cooperative learning type and the Media Flipbook gave a value of 0.74 in the medium category and contributed 26.42% in improving the learning outcomes of class VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak on the Classification of Living Things.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the student learning outcomes with cooperative learning models assisted by flipbook media in the material of the human motion system in class VIII SMP Negeri 14 Pontianak. The form of this research was quasi-research (Quasy Experimental Design) with the research design used was Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The research sample was class VIII I as an experimental class and VIII H as a control class, with intact group sampling techniques. The instruments used were multiple choice tests totaling 20 questions. The average student learning outcomes in the experimental class was 16.54, while in the control class was 15.52. The results of the Mann Whitney U test analysis showed that the value of Zhitung<-Ztabel is -2.40 <-1.96, then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning that there were differences in learning outcomes of students taught using cooperative learning models assisted by flipbook media and students who are taught using conventional learning models. The value of the effect size was obtained by 0.72 with the medium category, giving an effect of 26.42% on the learning outcomes of students in human motion system material in class VIII of SMP Negeri 14 Pontianak.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the feasibility and response of students to the module of kingdom monera as teaching material for class X SMA/MA. The research take form as descriptive research using survey methods. The samples in this study were high school students in class XI consisting of 34 students from SMA 2 Pontianak, 21 students from SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak, and 25 students from SMA Koperasi Pontianak. The research instruments in this study were the kingdom monera module validation sheets and the student response questionnaire validated by 5 validators. The kingdom monera module validation sheet consists of 4 aspects namely content eligibility, language, content and graphics. Student responses questionnaire consisted of 3 aspects namely cognitive, affective and conative aspects consisting of 25 statement items and divided into 13 positive statements and 12 negative statements. Data analysis technique to determine the feasibility of the module using the CVI formula and student questionnaire responses using a Likert Scale. The kingdom monera module validation obtained a CVI value of 1,00 and was considered valid. The results of the analysis of the overall response questionnaire were 81.76% with a very strong category and consisted of cognitive responses at 80,93%, affective responses at 82,15%, and conative responses at 82,19%. Overall the kingdom monera module was appropriate to be used as teaching material in the kingdom monera material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada sub materi pencemaran lingkungan yang dilihat dari hasil postest siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan bentuk penelitian quasi eksperimental design dan menggunakan rancangan percobaan control group pre-test and post-test design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak tahun ajaran 2009/2010. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive sampling, sehingga diperoleh sampel penelitian yakni kelas XB sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XF sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes berbentuk essai yang berjumlah lima soal. Dari hasil analisis data, diperoleh rata-rata skor hasil belajar siswa dengan model CIRC sebesar 11,61 lebih tinggi dibanding dengan model pembelajaran konvensional yaitu sebesar 10,89. Berdasarkan hasil uji U-mann Whitney diketahui bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen dan kontrol yaitu Z tabel ? - Zhitung atau 1,96 ? -2,20. Berdasarkan perhitungan Effect size model pembelajaran CIRC diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,44 dengan kategori sedang. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran CIRC secara efektif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci : Efektivitas, Model CIRC, Hasil belajar, Pencemaran lingkungan.
