Abstract

Language is a means of communication. Through language, a person or child will develop social skills with other people. Language is one aspect of development in early childhood that is important to be developed. Language development in early childhood can be done with the learning design carried out by teachers at early childhood institutions. The purpose of implementing this community service activity is to understand strategies and implementation of early childhood language learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a case study method with participants selected through purposive sampling. The participants in this study were early childhood education teachers on Untung Jawa Island, Seribu Islands, DKI Jakarta Province, who were selected through purposive sampling. This community service activity is implemented online through mentoring methods for teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic. This assistance is carried out through seminars and workshops held online to provide understanding to teachers about early childhood language learning who carry out distance learning or study from home due to the closure of PAUD institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The result of this activity is the formation of teacher understanding for the implementation of language learning in early childhood even though children learn from home. So it is hoped that PAUD teachers can be more creative in designing engaging language learning in various conditions. Abstrak Bahasa merupakan sarana untuk berkomunikasi. Melalui berbahasa seseorang atau anak akan dapat mengembangkan kemampuan sosialnya dengan orang lain. Bahasa merupakan salah satu aspek perkembangan pada anak usia dini yang penting untuk dikembangkan. Pengembangan bahasa pada anak usia dini dapat dilakukan dengan desain pembelajaraan yang dilakukan oleh guru pada lembaga PAUD. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang strategi dan impelementasi pembelajaran bahasa anak usia dini di masa pandemi covid—19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan partisipan yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah guru pendidikan anak usia dini di Pulau Untung Jawa Kepulauan Seribu Provinsi DKI Jakarta yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan secara daring melalui metode pendampingan bagi guru selama pandemi covid—19. Pendampingan ini dilakukan melalui seminar dan workshop yang dilaksanakan secara online untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada guru tentang pembelajaran bahasa anak usia dini yang melaksanakan belajar jarak jauh atau belajar dari rumah sebagai imbas ditutupnya lembaga PAUD. Hasil kegiatan ini berupa terbentuknya pemahaman guru untuk implementasi pembelajaran bahasa pada anak usia dini meskipun anak-anak belajar dari rumah. Sehingga diharapkan guru PAUD dapat lebih kreatif merancang pembelajaran bahasa yang menarik di berbagai kondisi.

Abstract

THE EFFECT OF COOPERATIVE GAMES AND INTERPERSONAL INTELLIGENCE ON CHILD EMOTIONAL REGULATION. Negative actions that occur at this time are much related to one's emotional regulation ability. For this reason, instilling the ability of motion regulations should be prepared early. Interpersonal intelligence children like building, relationships and maintaining social relationships will make it easier to know what kind of emotion regulation affecting children. For this reason, cooperative games have become a good game to do in increasing children's regulation. This study aims to reveal the extent to which the influence of cooperative games and interpersonal intelligence on the regulation of motions. Observational research data were tested using a normality test and a homogeneity test followed by a two-way variance test (ANAVA) and continued testing with tukey testing. The results showed that the sample data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of the analysis also showed the existence of the interaction of cooperative games and interpersonal intelligence on regulation based on the results of the analysis of variance F count = 62.52 > F tab = 4.08 at the significant level = 0.05.

Abstract

INDEPENDENCE OF CHILDREN AGED 5-6 YEARS AT INSTITUTION OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION IN THE DAYAK KANAYANT CULTURE. This study aims to get an overview of empirical data information on the Independence of Children 5-6 Years in Early Childhood Education Institutions in the Dayak Kanayant Culture in Nanga Kelampai Village, Tumbang Titi District, Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan Province. This research is a qualitative research with ethnographic research. Data analysis is Spradley. The data of this study were obtained from observations, interviews and documentation. The findings of the study indicate that the independence of children aged 5-6 years in early childhood education institutions in Kanayant Dayak tribal culture is shaped by the roles and attitudes of parents and teachers and the role of the environment. The conclusion of the research shows that independent children are not formed by themselves. Parents need to equip children from an early age to be able to do their own activities without having to rely on parents.

Abstract

SOCIAL BEHAVIOR OF CHILDREN AGED 5-6 YEARS IN ROLE PLAYING CENTER ACTIVITIES AT TK LABSCHOOL JAKARTA. This study aims to find and build theories of the forms of social behavior of children 5-6 years in the role playing center activities, the process of the formation of social behavior of children 5-6 years in the role playing center activities, the role of the teacher in the formation of social behavior of children 5-6 years in the role playing center activities, as well as the role of parents in shaping the social behavior of children 5-6 years in the role playing center activities. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results of the study found that the social behavior of children 5-6 years old in Labschool Kindergarten Jakarta showed social behavior related to human relations, namely good human relations (social humanity), namely empathy, tolerance, cooperation, responsibility, fair, close behavior , share and wait their turn.

Abstract

Important aspects of social-emotional development developed in early childhood, specifically about prosocial habits. This study aims to develop a book about Palembang's local culture to improve understanding of prosocial behaviour in early childhood. Draw local culture through interesting pictures. The research method used is research and development with the ADDIE model. The technique of collecting data is based on the results of expert validation and trial data through pre-trial one group pretest-posttest design and statistical analysis of data using paired sample t-test. This study involved children aged 4 to 6 years in Musi Banyuasin Regency. The product research and development results show: first, the design of storybook media product is feasible to increase children's understanding of Palembang's cultural and prosocial behaviour; second, collecting media that is seen from the results obtained from the pretest-posttest data of children with a value and significance of 0.00 0.05, this shows the value of the pretest-posttest supports the difference; and third, the validity of the media that shows the book can be used for children who understand cultural literacy so that children are rich in cultural insights specifically the local culture of Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the findings social skills about The little craftsman of tatah sungging in Kepuhsari, Wonogiri. Those things observed; 1) description founds mony forms social skills about The little craftsman of tatah sungging in Kepuhsari, 2) description founds on the process of the forms social skills about The little craftsman of tatah sungging in Kepuhsari, and 3) description of supporting factors for the form about social skills of The little craftsman of tatah sungging in Kepuhsari. The subjects of this study were early childhood in the Kepuhsari region who were skilled in making tatah sungging works. This research is a qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The results of this study indicate that the involvement of the litte craftsman on making tatah sungging works reflects their social skills such as the ability to work together, empathize, and communicate that is formed through exemplary and encouragement to produce precise work. It was also found that there were supporting factors such as philosophical values and perceptions of the Kepuhsari community towards tatah sungging art which stimulated the formation of social skills of the litte craftsman on the region.

Abstract

Banjir merupakan salah satu bencana alam yang sering terjadi di berbagai wilayah di Indonesia. Mitigasi bencana banjir perlu dilakukan sebagai langkah kesiapsiagaan sebelum bencana tersebut terjadi. Pengenalan mitigasi bencana banjir dapat diberikan mulai dari usia dini dengan cara yang mudah dipahami anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan mitigasi bencana banjir melalui pemanfaatan media digital video pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif agar hasil penelitian dapat dideskripsikan secara faktual dan juga mendalam. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 10 anak TK B di salah satu kelas PAUD di Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media digital dalam bentuk video dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar untuk mengenalkan mitigasi bencana banjir pada anak usia dini. Anak semakin paham dengan bencana banjir dan faktor resikonya setelah melihat media digital video pembelajaran. Pengembangan program mitigasi bencana banjir dalam bentuk media digital video pembelajaran terbukti menumbuhkan pengetahuan dan juga sikap anak usia dini agar tanggap bencana sedari dini. Implementasi program mitigasi bencana melalui video pembelajaran memiliki beberapa manfaat diantaranya mudah diakses, mudah digunakan, bersifat general, dan dapat digunakan di banyak tempat

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh dari dua variabel bebas, yaitu Metode Pembelajaran Proyek dan Metode Number Head Together (NHT), serta variabel moderator yaitu sikap siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika terhadap pemahaman konsep bilangan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh interaksi antara faktor metode proyek dan metode NHT (A) dan sikap siswa pada matematika (B) terhadap pemahaman konsep bilangan pada anak usia 6-7 tahun di SDN Jurangmangu Timur 01 dan SDN Jurangmangu Timur 02 Kecamatan Pondok Aren Kota Tangerang Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Subjek penelitian adalah 60 orang siswa kelas 1 di SDN Jurangmangu Timur 01 dan SDN Jurangmangu Timur 02. Data penelitian mengenai pemahaman konsep bilangan diperoleh dari tes pilihan ganda. Sedangkan, data penelitian mengenai sikap siswa diperoleh melalui pengisian angket. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis statistik inferensial. Adapun pengujian hipotesis penelitian menggunakan uji Analisis Varian (Anava) dua jalur. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran terhadap pemahaman konsep bilangan dan terdapat interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dan sikap siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika terhadap pemahaman konsep bilangan pada anak usia 6-7 tahun. Kata Kunci: Metode Proyek, Metode Number Head Together,Sikap Belajar Siswa, Pemahaman Konsep Bilangan, Anak Usia Dini. Abstract This study aims to determine the difference in influence of the two independent variables, namely the Project Learning Method and the Number Head Together Method, as well as the moderator variable, namely the attitude in mathematics towards number sense understanding. In addition, this study also aims to determine the interaction between two independent variables that affect the understanding of number sense understanding children 6-7 years old in SDN Jurangmangu Timur 01 and SDN Jurangmangu Timur 02 Kecamatan Pondok Aren, Kota Tangerang Selatan. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The research subjects were 60 first grade students in SDN Jurangmangu Timur 01 and SDN Jurangmangu Timur 02. Research data on understanding the concept of numbers are obtained from multiple choice tests. Meanwhile, data on student attitudes are obtained through questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis methods and inferential statistical analysis methods. The research hypothesis testing uses the two-way Analysis of Variance (Anava) test. The results of the data analysis show that there is an influence of the learning method on the understanding of the concept of numbers and there is an interaction between the learning method and the attitude of students in mathematics to the understanding of the concept of numbers in children aged 6-7 years. Keywords: Project Methods, Student Learning Attitudes, Number Sense, Early    Childhood.

Abstract

AbstrackThe purpose of this research is to determine and describe the independence of children aged 5-6 years who live with single parents in the presence of father only. This research uses qualitative research methods with the type of case study research. This research was conducted at the residence of a single parent family located in Cipinang Besar Selatan RT002 / RW05 No.39, Jatinegara, East Jakarta. Data collected by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis uses Campbell's pattern matching model which includes general of statement, sorting the statement and development of the concept map. The results showed that the independence contained in the research subjects were : 1) the ability to help himself in daily life, 2) initiative in doing various things or activities, 3) responsible for what was done and 4) the ability to adapt the environment. This independence is inseparable from the opportunities given by parents to children so that children can do their own activities. The results of this study indicate that children's independence can be built and developed by single parents by providing opportunities to children such as, teaching independence directly to children, habituation, and give advice and direction their daily activities and choosing not to use ART services in caring for children. Keywords : Independence, Child Ages 5-6 Years, Family Single Parents

Abstract

AbstrackThis experiment was intended to describeparents perception about early reading development of children 5-6 years old. The sample of this experiment was 100parents at Kindergarten in Gugus III area  In The District of Cibinong, Bogor. The technique of getting sample was quota sampling. Data were collected throught questionnaire. The results of the study of parents' perceptions of the development of early reading of children aged 5-6 years by 76% are in the category of "good" and as much as 24% in the category of "enough". In a more specific description, the perception of parents has several sub-aspects. In the sub-aspect of the meaning of early reading development of children aged 5-6 years the results show that 77% of parents are in the "good" category, and 23% of parents are in the moderate category. In the sub-aspects of the characteristics of early reading development of children aged 5-6 years the results show that 46% of parents are in the "good" category, and 54% of parents are in the "sufficient" category. In the sub-aspects of the aspects of early reading development of children aged 5-6 years, the results showed that 62% of parents were in the "good" category, and 38% were in the "sufficient" category. In the sub-aspects of parental strategies in developing early reading development of children aged 5-6 years, the results show that 77% of parents are in the "good" category and 23% of parents are in the moderate category. Keywords: parent’s perception, early reading development, children 5-6 years old.
