Abstract

AbstractThe article aims to reveal the perspective of the Muslim community of Angkola in responding to hoaxes through learning the cognitive mental processes that are motivated by the splendor of hoaxes today. This study uses the SFL approach method. The results of the discussion have shown the cultural themes that have been generated based on the position of the constituents and the type of phenomenon. The cultural theme that emerges from the position of the constituents starts from linearity, which is sequential and systematic, and from inversion, namely the appearance of constituents at the beginning of the clause, which can be expressed as the urgency of the role in cognitive mental processes in the Muslim community of Angkola. Then, the cultural theme that emerges from the type of phenomenon is showing the clarity of the information provided. This is a significant contribution in completing the theoretical framework in the field of Muslim community studies related to SFL. Then, the potential for the development of this study can still be done by further researchers, namely by analyzing cognitive mental processes further, or by analyzing perceptive or affective mental processes. AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan perspektif masyarakat muslim Angkola dalam menyikapi hoax melalui pembelajaran proses mental kognitif yang dilatarbelakangi oleh semaraknya hoax dewasa ini. Kajian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan SFL khususnya pada transitivitas yang membahasa salah satu tipe proses, yaitu proses mental kognitif sebagai salah satu pendekatan yang dapat menganalisis bahasa secara holistik. Hal yang akan dianalisis adalah bagaimana mengungkapkan tema budaya dari proses mental kognitif masyarakat muslim Angkola guna menyikapi hoax. Hasil diskusi telah menunjukkan tema budaya yang telah dihasilkan berdasarkan posisi konstituen dan tipe fenomenon. Tema budaya yang muncul dari posisi konstituen dimulai dari liniearitas yaitu berurutan dan sistematis dan dari inversi yaitu kemunculan konstituen di awal klausa dapat dinyatakan sebagai keurgenan dari peranan dalam proses mental kognitif pada masyarakat muslim Angkola. Kemudian, tema budaya yang muncul dari tipe fenomenon yaitu menunjukkan kejelasan dari informasi yang diberikan. Hal ini merupakan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam melengkapi kerangka teoretis dalam bidang kajian masyarakat muslim yang berkaitan dengan SFL. Kemudian, potensi untuk pengembangan kajian ini masih dapat dilakukan oleh peneliti selanjutnya yaitu dengan menganalisis proses mental kognitif lebih lanjut, atau dengan menganalisis proses mental perseptif maupun proses mental afektif.

Abstract

The political education discourse in the development of democracy in Indonesia has influenced the progress of the education system. This is inseparable from the long process of history with various educational political products that have been produced that contribute to the progress of the nation's education. The political education discourse in Indonesia is still proceeding in producing an ideal democratic system. In political discourse, education is still used as one of the main issues in raising public confidence in the leaders, starting from colonialism, a new era, reformation to the present. Thus, the politics of education is one important thing in realizing a positive symbol of democracy in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abtrak  This article aims to find out how the model of giving punishment to students at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ahliyah Al-Islamiyah Aek Badak uses qualitative research methods using descriptive analysis. This research was conducted using interviews and observations of the principal, teachers, and pickets. This research is carried out first looking for data from informant sources to be managed, classified, analyzed and given improvements and conclusions to the results of data that have been collected and analyzed based on relevant previous research concepts. The results of the study show that every violation committed by students must be given educational punishments such as reading the Koran, memorizing the Koran outside class hours. This model of punishment can improve students' understanding of the Koran and ultimately students are able to continue to integrate with the Koran. Suggestions are given to all madrasah managers to apply an educational model of punishment. Keywords: punishment model; students; madrasah.  Abstract Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana model pemberian hukuman terhadap peserta didik di Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ahliyah Al-Islamiyah Aek Badak dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis yang bersifat deskrptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara dan observasi terhadap kepala madrasah, guru, dan piket. Penelotian ini dilakukan terlebih dahulu mencari data dari sumber informan untuk dikelola diklasifikasi, dianalisis serta diberikan penyempurnaan dan kesimpulan terhadap hasil-hasil data yang telah dikumpulkan dan dianalisis berdasarkan konsep penelitian terdahulu yang relepan. Hasil penelitian menjukkan bahwa setiap pelanggaran yang dilakukan oleh siswa harus diberikan hukuman yang mendidik seperti membaca Alquran, menghafal Alquran di luar jam pelajaran. Model hukuman seperti ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap Alquran dan akhirnya siswa mampu terus berintegrasi dengan Alquran. Saran-saran yang diberikan kepada semua pengelola madarasah untuk menerapkan model hukuman yang sifatnya mendidik. Kata kunci: model hukuman; peserta didik; madrasah

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku bahasa pedagang Angkola dalam mengungkap proses eksistensialnya. Mengingat pedagang adalah orang-orang yang sangat sibuk dan sangat menghargai waktu, di sini akan diungkap bagaimana pedagang mengedepankan eksistensi terhadap sesuatu secara lisan. Penelitian ini menawarkan agar studi kasus ini dapat dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL). Datanya diperoleh dari dua belas pedagang Angkola, enam orang laki-laki dan enam orang perempuan, melalui wawancara yang ditranskrip dan dianalisis dengan analisis transitivitas. Temuannya berupa pola proses eksistensial yang ditemukan adalah pola standar (proses + eksisten) beserta pola variannya, pola inversi (eksisten + proses) beserta pola variannya, dan pola proses (eksistennya lesap atau morfem zero (ø)). Selanjutnya, proses yang muncul adalah adong 'ada' dan nadong 'tidak ada' beserta variannya. Tidak ditemukan data yang menunjukkan adalanya terdapat dan muncul sebagai penanda lain dari proses eksistensial. Lebih lanjut lagi, pengalaman eksistensi dan non-eksistensi pedagang dapat terungkap dari jumlah konstituen proses yang muncul beserta pilihan diksi yang digunakan. Semoga, hasil penelitian ini dapat menambah kerangka teoretis dalam mengenali ciri-ciri karakter pedagang di bidang ekonomi dan juga pengayaan teoretis SFL sebagai pendekatan yang dapat mengungkapkan pola bahasa di berbagai bidang.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the degraded understanding of partitions among the younger generation as a form of politeness in building student character. The research method is qualitative and descriptive with data collection techniques in the form of listening and recording 20 class XII students of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ahliyah Aek Badak. In addition, to confirm the data, interviews were also conducted as data validation with three informants. The results showed that based on test results, out of 67 speeches, not all students were able to answer half of the 67 speeches. This confirms and proves that there has been a degradation in students' understanding of class names which will automatically affect the way they behave in society in everyday life. The values of character education that are expected to be instilled starting from mutual cooperation, togetherness, rights and obligations, tolerance, compassion, and holong, so that kinship is maintained properly have not all been implemented because of the understanding of the naming of the partutoron of the students being tested. It's not finished yet, so it takes a shared responsibility to fix it.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' ability to visualize papers in PowerPoint. This is done so that students' obstacles in presenting educational PowerPoint can be found. The research method used is observation of 11 PowerPoint scripts that are student group assignments in the Scientific Paper Writing Course. The results obtained indicate that students' ability to visualize their papers in PowerPoint is divided into 7 categories of slide appearance and 12 errors in visualizing them. The research findings prove that there is a group that presents 127 slides or 52% in PowerPoint, even though that number has far exceeded the presentation of slides which should be around 10 to 12 slides. Meanwhile, the highest error of 22% is not presenting facts of phenomena as an important basis in the background. Thus, all of these findings can be used as evaluation material in the next learning process so that students can avoid mistakes and can present their paper visualizations in PowerPoint more educationally. In order to overcome this, it is necessary to prepare more mature, complete, and full independent practice materials so that the obstacles that arise can be resolved properly. The implications of this study can be a positive gap to improve the level of material with a more educational presentation. Thus, through a better understanding of the material, students will be able to visualize their papers into PowerPoint even better.
