Abstract

The objectives of this research are to analysis of rubber  farming system and the ability to pay credit of ex UPP TCSDP rubber plantation in Sub Unit Kuantan Tengah, Kuantan Singingi Regency. Survey method was conducted in 3 villages, involved Kopah, Seberang Taluk and Pulau Aro rubber farmers. In each village taken 10 people into bringing its total respondents 30 respondents. The results showed that the average production in rubber plantations Ex TCSDP UPP is ojol much as 2,146 kg/year with the ojol productivity of 1,966 kg/ha/year. The rubber plantations of non TCSDP average production is by ojol 3,966 kg/ha/year and productivity amounted to 2,012 kg/ha/year. Credit payments of all agricultural and non agricultural income of farmers, farmers were 17 (56.67%) were able to pay the remaining credit TCSDP with an average household income of farmers amounted to Rp. 55.074.077/year, while the farm household expenditure of Rp. 19.793.387/year. Keyword :rubber farmers, credit, productivity, TCSDP

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the farming and the ability to pay the loan Ex UPP TCSDP Taluk Kuantan sub units Kuantan Mudik. This research was conducted by survey method where a representative sample is taken from the three villages, each village with purposive sampling (intentionally) as many as 10 respondents, so the total respondents as many as 30 respondents. The results showed that the productivity of rubber plantations Ex TCSDP as much as 2989.57 kg ojol / ha / year and the plantations of non TCSDP as much as 2136.46 kg ojol/ ha / year. In 1997, average loan principal is Rp. 856,685.17, lending (12% / year) is Rp. 1,384,079.16 and total credit debt of Ex TCSDP farmers until 1997 was Rp. 2,240,764.33. In 2015, the average interest rate that must be paid the farmer is Rp. 3,234,519.12 and the average loan was repaid farmer is Rp. 703,130.09. The average credit debt that must be paid by the farmer is Rp. 3,388,074.20. Rubber of Ex TCSDP plantation revenue of Rp. 4,071,245.83 while the farmer household expenditure is Rp. 26,118,133.33 so that farmers can not afford to pay for the credit. But when viewed from the total income (household income) is Rp. 27,857,456.67 larger than the household expenses by 22 (73.33%) of farmers unable to pay the loan Former UPP TCSDP. Keywords : Rubber Farmers , Credit , Productivity , TCSDP

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the productivity, revenue, households income structure, pattern of households expenditure, and welfare of households of the smallholder rubber plantation of ex-TCSDP development. Research was done by survey at Bina Baru Village. Data were collected from 30 small-holders rubber farmers using purposive sampling. Analysis of the results showed that the productivity of smallholder rubber plantation as 2.39 ton/ha/yearequivalent lump, the revenues of samallholder rubber plantation as Rp. 22.602.447/ha/year. The structure of household income derived from agriculture is 87,59 percent and 12,41 percent for non-agricultural income. The pattern of household expenditure shown that the food expenditure as 38,58percent and non-food expenditures as 61,42 percent. Result also show that the household of the smallholder rubber plantation at Bina Baru Village have the total expenditure more than 320 kg of rice equivalent. The household of small-holders rubber plantation have the total expenditure above the poverty line (Rp.336.681/capita/month). The household welfare using the  14 indicators of relative poverty by Indonesian Statistic show that  66,67 percent household have ability to fullfill the basic need or prosperous, while 33,33 percent is almost prosperous. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the productivity,  revenue,  households income structure, to analyze the pattern of households expenditure, and to the welfare of households of the smallholder rubber plantation of ex-TCSDP development. Research was done by survey at Balam Merah Village. Data were collected from 30 small-holders rubber farmers using purposive sampling. Analysis of the results showed that the productivity of smallholder rubber plantation as 84,35 ton/ha/year, the revenues of smallholder rubber plantation as Rp. 16.738.070/ha/year. The structure of household income derived from agriculture is 91,94 percent and 8,06 percent for non-agricultural income. The pattern of household expenditure shown that the food expenditure as 27,44percent and non-food expenditures as 72,56 percent. Result also show the household of small-holders rubber plantation at Balam Merah village have the total expenditure above the poverty line (Rp. 429.452/capita/month). The household welfare using the  14 indicators of relative poverty by Indonesian Statistic show that  100 percent household have ability to fullfill the basic need or prosperous.   Key words : Smallholder rubber farmer, Productivity, Income, Welfare

Abstract

This studyaims to analyze the internal and external environment and accomplish the competitive strategy for agro-industry entrepreneurs of SGN soybean milk powder.  A'WOT analysis which combines AHP and SWOT was used Expert Choice 2000 Software. The results of this research thatindicated the priority strategy for the agro-industry development of SGN soybean milk powder are (1) Product development (2) Optimizing available resources, (3) Efficiency with reducing production cost, (4) Improving the quality of human resources through training regularly, (5) Maintaining the quality and image of the product, (6) Utilizing the KUR program from the Government and (7) Coordinate with relevant parties to inhibit the entry of newcomers. Abstract

The purpose of this research are analyze the effect of labor on production pineapple, analyze the level of optimization of the use of  labor, and analyze the optimization of the use of labor between broad and narrow area of land in Kampar. The methods of analysis used in this study is regression analyze. Based on the result of the analysis of effect labor on production pineapple, the amount of labor significantly affect the amount of production of pineapples, it applies to farming in a narrow area, wide area, and also overall. labor is a factor of production is greatest effect on farm production pineapple research area. labor used in the farming of pineapple consists of labor within the family and outside the family labor, in which the activities carried out are weeding and harvesting.The use value of labor in the area showed that the use of labor is not optimal, it should be increasing the number of workers, in order to increase productivity. level optimization on large tracts of land is better than the narrow land, it demonstrates the use of labor on a large area is optimal from the narrow land. then to optimize the use of labor on a narrow piece of land is necessary to increase the amount of labor. keywords: pineapple production, labor, optimazation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study aims to analyze the rate growth and competitiveness of each province in Indonesia by economic sectors especially in Riau. The methods of analysis used in this study is Shift Share. The results showed that the West Sulawesi has a slow growth rate in agriculture, livestock, forestry and fisheries but is able competitive well, while the sector of electricity, gas and water supply has a rapid growth rate and afford competitive properly. Gorontalo has a slow growth rate but is able competitive well in the mining and quarrying sectors. West Papua growth rate is slow but capable of competitive well in the manufacturing sector, while the services sector has a rapid growth rate and afford competitive properly. Papua has a rapid growth rate and is able competitive well in the building sector and the financial sector, leasing and business services. Southeast Sulawesi has a rapid growth rate and is able competitive well in the trade, hotels and restaurants. DKI Jakarta has a rapid growth rate and is able competitive well in the transport and communications sector. The economic sectors that have rapid growth rate and have high competitiveness in Riau are: the building sector; trading, hotel and restaurant sector; transportation and communication; financial, rental and service company; and services sector. The slow-growing economic sectors and unable to competitive well are: agriculture, livestock, forestry and fishery, and also mining and quarrying.Keywords : Economic Growth, Competitiveness, Shift Share

Abstract

This study aims to how level for the  factors of production in non former-farmers in the Senama Nenek  village  from  the  aspects  of  technical  efficiency,  allocative  efficiency  and  economic efficiency. The samples were calculated using purposive sampling is done by taking as many as 40 non former-farmers. Data were analyzed using two functions, the Cobb-Douglas production function  and  frontier  Cobb-Douglas. Cobb-Douglas  used  see  whether  there  is  the  classical assumptions. Cobb-Douglas stochastic frontier as an approach based on the consideration for the measurement of technical efficiency, allocative and economical by using the approach in terms of input and output are integrated. Factors affecting the production of palm oil by the method of Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) is urea, KCl, SP36, and Dolomite. Factors affecting the level of palm oil production inefficiencies are aged farmer, aged Palm Oil. Oil palm plantation businesses are efficient in the use of a combination of factors of production, but not allocative efficient, and economical. Keywords:  Technical , allocative, Economic

Abstract

The livestock and fishery sector are very important in the economy Riau Province as industrial raw material providers, employers, providers of food and source of income. This study aims to analyze the role of livestock and fishery sectors to the economy of Riau Province through input-output structure of the review. The data used is data input-output Riau Province 2012 with 18 x 18 sector classification sourced from the Bappeda of Riau Province. The Analytical method used is descriptive analysis method. The analysis showed: first,thelivestock and fishery sector contributed to the economy of high enough Riau Province. Livestock and fishery sectors contributes high arethe marine fish and other marine product sector, ground fish and other ground fish sector, livestock and other livestocks. Second,forming component output of livestock and fishery sector is driven by consumption, followed by intermediate output and export. Third, in term of input, component input of livestock and fishery sector is driven by producer surplus, followed by intermediate input and wage-salary. To encourage economic growth in the livestock and fishery sector and increase consumption and investment directly or indirectly.Effort to improve the investment indirectly trough the accumulation from accumulation of capital from producer surplus Keywords:   the role of livestock and fishery, input-output table, consumption, producer surplus.
