Abstract

This study was to investigate the influence of task based language teaching and learning motivation toward writing achievement. The population of this study was the eleventh grade students at SMK N 3 Palembang. The sample was 64 students taken by using cluster random sampling. In carrying out of the research, the writer used an experimental method; factorial design. The writer distributed pretest, posttest, and attitude questionnaire in collecting the data. Then, in analyzing the data the writer used t-test and two-way ANOVA. The result of this study analysis indicated that: (1) there was a significant difference in writing achievement between the student who taught by using TBLT and those are taught using conventional technique, (2) there was significant difference in writing achievement between the students who have high motivation by using TBLT and conventional teaching technique, (3) there was significant difference in writing achievement between the students who have low motivation by using TBLT and conventional teaching technique, (4) there was significant difference in writing achievement between the students who have low and high motivation by using TBLT, and (5) there was an interaction effect of technique used and student’s motivation in improving writing achievement.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe the improvement in learning outcomes using the "DASI" (Dakon Multifunction) media in mathematics learning on FPB and KPK material for class V students at SDN Gadang 3, Malang City. This research uses the Kemmis & MC model of Classroom Action Research. Taggart. The research subjects were 32 class V students at SDN Gadang 3, Malang City. Data collection techniques use observation, tests and documentation. The research results show that learning mathematics using the "DASI" (Dakon Multifunction) media can improve student learning outcomes in FPB and KPK material. Student learning outcomes increased, namely from 32 students the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes in the pre-cycle was 16%, in the cycle it became 38%, in the second cycle it became 56%, and in the third cycle it became 78%. The average value of student learning outcomes also increased from pre-cycle of 34.6, cycle I to 55, cycle II to 75, and cycle III to 84.4. So it can be concluded that the use of "DASI" (Dakon Multifunction) media can improve mathematics learning outcomes for FPB and KPK material in class V students at SDN Gadang 3, Malang City. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar menggunakan media “DASI” (Dakon Multifungsi) pada pembelajaran matematika materi FPB dan KPK pada siswa kelas V SDN Gadang 3 Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas model Kemmis & MC. Taggart. Subjek penelitian yakni siswa kelas V SDN Gadang 3 Kota malang berjumlah 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran matematika menggunakan media “DASI” (Dakon Multifungsi) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi FPB dan KPK. Hasil belajar siswa meningkat yaitu dari 32 siswa persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar pada pra siklus adalah sebesar 16%, pada siklus menjadi 38%, siklus II menjadi 56%, dan siklus III menjadi 78%. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa juga meningkat dari pra siklus sebesar 34,6, siklus I menjadi 55, siklus II menjadi 75, dan siklus III menjadi 84,4. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media “DASI” (Dakon Multifungsi) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi FPB dan KPK pada siswa kelas V SDN Gadang 3 Kota Malang.

Abstract

Pengangangguran terbuka merupakan masalah nasional dan daerah pengembangan wirausaha dipandang sebagai jalan keluar bagi masalah tersebut.Namun masih berkembang diskusi apakah seorang wirausaha dilahirkan atau dapat dibentuk. Penelitian ini berusaha menjawab permasalahan tersebut dengan melakukan pengamatan serta observasi kepada seluruh peserta (mahasiswa dan alumni) pelatihan kewirausahaan yang dilaksanakan oleh pusat Inkubator Bisnis Universitas PGRI Palangka Raya tahun 2012-2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari 25 orang wirausaha baru ternyata hanya 3 orang yang memiliki latar belakang sebagai wirausaha (pengusaha). Seluruh wirausaha muda masih berstatus UMKM dan menggunakan pendekatan teknologi dan manajemen sederhana sehingga masih memerlukan pendampingan (coaching dan mentoring) dalam peningkatan kemampuan produksi fan manajerial. Para wirausaha muda juga masih memerlukan dukungan dalam membangun kolaborasi dengan para UMKM yang sudah ada.

Abstract

One of the policies of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government is the development of corn commodities in South Barito Regency. This research will try to analyze and evaluate the implementation of this policy, especially in terms of corn production and increasing farmers' income. The research was carried out in Ngurit Village, Gunung Bintang Awai, District South Barito Regency. Research respondents consisted of 30 corn farmers and 5 traders/collectors. Data collection was carried out through an interview and observation process. The research results show that the corn commodity development policy in South Barito Regency has succeeded in increasing corn production and farmer income. The research results showed that corn production increased by 1,200 tons/planting season in the form of wet shelled corn (moisture content 29-30%) with an average productivity of 3 tons/ha/planting season. Financially, corn farming is also profitable for farmers. This is shown by the R/C ratio of 1.875, meaning that every investment of IDR 1 will generate income of IDR 1,875. The B/C ratio value for corn farming at the research location (87.5%) is also higher than the average interest rate on bank deposits, meaning that the funds used to carry out corn farming provide greater income than if the funds were kept in a bank. The corn trading system in the research village has been running efficiently. This can be seen from the very short corn marketing chain, which only involves farmers-traders/collectors-factories. The marketing efficiency value (20.48%) and marketing margin (54.95%) show that the corn trading system has also run efficiently, meaning that not too many costs are absorbed in the marketing system and farmers still get the largest portion in the corn trading system.

Abstract

Komunikasi tanpa kabel/nirkabel (wireless) telah menjadi kebutuhan dasar atau gaya hidup baru masyarakat dalam mendapatkan informasi khusunya dilingkungan SMA Negeri 2 Tarutung. Dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini tim pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM diberi kesempatan untuk membangun sebuah jaringan wireless menggunakan mikrotik RB951. Hal ini dilakukan untuk pemberdayaan dilingkungan SMA Negeri 2 Tarutung yang padat penduduk yang memiliki potensi untuk dijadikan sebagai sebuah usaha hotspot. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode praktik secara langsung kepada siswa dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan pada masa pandemi. Selain itu, jaringan berbasis wireless membuat para siswa/siswi lebih mudah untuk mengakses internet dimanapun. Implementasi pemasangan jaringan terdiri dari beberapa unit pasang konektor RJ-45 pada kabel UTP, konfigurasi access point, konfigurasi hotspot server mikrotik. Dengan adanya jaringan wireless dilingkungan SMA Negeri 2 Tarutung, akan mempermudah siswa/siswi dan guru untuk mengakses internet. Selain itu, melakukan konfigurasi jaringan wireless tidak begitu sulit, asalkan mengikuti aturan pembuatan jaringan.

Abstract

Seiring berkembangnya zaman di era modern ini, Indonesia termasuk salah satu negara yang memiliki masyarakat yang mayoritas aktif dalam menggunakan internet, tetapi perlu di ketahui bahwa 10% masyarakat di Indonesia belum paham dalam menggunakan internet. Masih banyak wilayah di Indonesia yang mengalami keterlambatan masuknya teknologi, contohnya adalah kecamatan Marangkayu yang berada di Kabupaten kutai kartanegara Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Maka dari itu melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini penulis ingin memberikan pelatihan tentang teknologi di era modern seperti saat ini. Khususnya pada Kecamatan Badiri Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah karena menurut kami masih banyak yang belum mengerti tentang teknologi digital contohnya pengoperasian komputer. Disini Penulis ingin berbagi ilmu dan informasi mengenai teknologi digital khususnya bagi siswa dan siswi di SMAN N 1 Badiri Kab.Tapanuli. Pada pelatihan ini, penulis menargetkan 5 pertemuan dengan materi yang akan dibawakan yaitu mulai dari pengoperasian komputer, pemberian materi mengenai penggunaan aplikasi Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Dan Microsoft Power Point. Dengan pelatihan ini diharapkan para siswa dan siswi bisa mengerti tentang pengoperasian komputer, terlebih dalam pengoperasian aplikasi Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Dan Microsoft Power Point.

Abstract

Internet technology keeps on developing and touching various aspects of human daily life. Starting from the very simple utilization of internet, such as the use of email for communication purposes, browsing varied information, up to the relatively advanced one, such as designing and developing homepage or the use of internet for shopping purposes (e-shopping). Some initiatives, either individually or in collaboration, to utilize internet for learning has been conducted by some Secondary Schools that have equipped themselves with computers and other necessary equipment needed, both hardware and software. Socialization for introducing the utilization of computer and internet can be begun from the more equipped Secondary Schools in the cities of provincial and district levels in line with the availability of internet infrastructure connectivity.

Abstract

Jaringan Komputer sangat dibutuhkan di berbagai bidang. termasuk di sekolah. jaringan komputer sangat di butuhkan untuk efisiensi dan ke efektifan penggunaan biaya dan peralatan. SMK Negeri 1 Lintong Ni Huta salah satu SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Humbang Hasudutan, sebagai SMK yang berbasis IT atau pun yang mengelolah Jurusan RPL dan TKJ sudah selayaknya memanfaatkan Jaringan Komputer sebagai sarana dan prasarana dalam proses belajar mengajar dan pelahayanan terhadap siswa. namun dalam kenyataan nya belum terlaksana di sebabkan kurang paham dan tidak memahami fungsi dan kelebihan sebuaj jaringan komputer. itulah alasan mengapa penting melakukan pengabdian ini di SMK Negeri 1 Lintong Ni Huta.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was aimed to find out the significance average score and motivation between Mind-Mapping and Conventional Technique. Due the interpretation of this study, it found that: (1) there was a significant difference in writing achievement between the student who taught by using Mind-Mapping and those are taught using conventional technique since it was found that the result was 0.00, (2) there was significant difference in writing achievement between the students who have high motivation by using Mind-Mapping and conventional teaching since the result was 0.005, (3) there was significant difference in writing achievement between the students who have low motivation by using Mind-Mapping and conventional teaching technique since the result was 0.002, (4) there was significant difference in writing achievement between the students who have low and high motivation by using Mind-Mapping since the significant was lower 0.02, and (5) there was an interaction effect of technique used and student’s motivation in improving writing achievement since the result of interaction effect was lower 0.006. Based on the result, the writer concluded that the result of this research was lower than the level of significant level (0,05), and Mind-Mapping and motivation gave the significant influence for student’s narrative writing achievement. ABSTRAK Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui signifikansi skor rata-rata dan motivasi antara Mind-Mapping dan Teknik Konvensional. Berdasarkan interpretasi penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam prestasi menulis antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan Mind-Mapping dan mereka yang diajar menggunakan teknik konvensional karena ditemukan bahwa hasilnya adalah 0,00, ( 2) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam prestasi menulis antara siswa yang memiliki motivasi tinggi dengan menggunakan Mind-Mapping dan pengajaran konvensional karena hasilnya adalah 0,005, (3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam prestasi menulis antara siswa yang memiliki motivasi rendah dengan menggunakan Mind -Pemetaan dan teknik pengajaran konvensional karena hasilnya adalah 0,002, (4) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam prestasi menulis antara siswa yang memiliki motivasi rendah dan tinggi dengan menggunakan Mind-Mapping karena signifikansinya lebih rendah 0,02, dan (5) terdapat peningkatan efek interaksi teknik yang digunakan dan motivasi siswa dalam meningkatkan prestasi menulis karena hasil efek interaksi lebih rendah 0,006. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa hasil penelitian ini lebih rendah dari tingkat signifikansi (0,05), dan Mind-Mapping dan motivasi memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap prestasi menulis narasi siswa.

Abstract

Mental retardation is a condition of intellectual disabilities experienced by children who have abilities below average. Children with intellectual disabilities are difficult to understand the lesson because they have a delay in developing intelligence. Interactive multimedia-based learning media can be used as one solution to become a method in mentally disabled children's learning process. This study aims to build a learning media for mentally disabled children based on interactive multimedia called Edinata, which stands for learning media for children with intellectual disabilities. Edinata is an application to help developmentally disabled children in introducing letters, numbers, surrounding objects, and coloring games. The method used in the development of this interactive multimedia learning media is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which consists of 6 stages: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. In this study, the black box method is used to conduct testing. Based on black-box testing that has been done, all the menus contained in the application can be run properly.
