Abstract

Application of social skills training therapy to client with social isolation and low self esteem disturbance with Interpersonal relationship Peplau Model Approach in RS Dr Marzoeki Mahdi Bogor. Social skills training was designed to improve communication and social skills for someone was experienced difficulties in their interaction skills include giving reinforcement, complain because they do not agree, reject the request of other, exchange experience, demanding personal rights, give advice to others, problem solving and working with people, sharing experience, ask for privacy (Michelson, 1985). Objective this final assignment was to founddescribing result of Application of social skills training therapy management on Social isolation and low self esteem client with interpersonal relationship Peplau Model approach in RS Dr Marzoeki Mahdi Bogor. Application of social skills therapy was done to 18 clients since 10 September-9 November 2012. Finding was revealed social skills training exactly effective may used for client with social isolation and low self esteem, where all of clients who have done social skills therapy. Base on this finding, recommended social skills training become to specialist standard therapy in psychiatric nursing and may used for social isolation and low self esteem clients.   Key word : social skills training, social isolation, low self esteem, Peplau interpersonal model

Abstract

erilaku kekerasan merupakan masalah yang sering muncul pada pasien gangguan jiwa berat termasuk skizofrenia. Alasan keluarga membawa pasien ke RSJ adalah ketidakmampuan mengatasi perilaku kekerasan pasien di rumah. Keluarga berusaha mencegah kekambuhan perilaku kekerasan pasien pasca rawat inap karena perilaku kekerasan menimbulkan beban bagi keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan pengalaman keluarga mencegah kekambuhan pasien dengan riwayat risiko perilaku kekerasan pasca rawat inap di RSJ. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologideskriptif. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 8 partisipan dengan purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan metode Collaizi. Hasil penelitian yaitu terdapat 5 tema yang menggambarkan pengalaman keluarga tersebut yaitu: 1) pengetahuan keluarga terhadap adanya riwayat perilaku kekerasan; 2) kepekaan keluarga terhadap pencetus kekambuhan, 3) cara pengendalian pasien untuk mencegah kekambuhan; 4) kepedulian keluarga sebagai upaya pencegah kekambuhan, 5) kepasrahan dalammenerima kondisi pasien. Perawat jiwa dapat memberikan pendidikan kesehatan pencegahan dan manajemen perilaku kekerasan kepada pasien dan keluarga. Pelatihan perawat tentang terapi supportif sehingga dapat memfasilitasi terapi supportif pada pasien dan keluarga.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana klien Diabetes Melitus memberikan makna kehidupan dalam kondisi sakitnya. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini menguraikan persepsi, respon psikososial, kebutuhan penatalaksanaan,harapan dan makna kehidupan klien. Penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif . Hasil penelitian menemukan tujuh tema besar yang sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian dan satu tema tambahan yaitu beban yang dihadapi klien. Kesimpulannya makna kehidupan klien didapatkan dalam kondisi penderitaan dan pendalaman nilai spiritual. Penelitian ini menyarankan penggunaan model Adaptasi Roy dalam pengembangan teori keperawatan khususnya masalah psikososial; tersusunnya format pengkajian psikososial sebagai panduan mengidentifikasi masalah psikososial di keluarga, rumah sakit maupun masyarakat. Kata Kunci : makna kehidupan, diabetes melitus, kualitatif.

Abstract

The Health status alteration of the familly members is one of the stessor which effected to the family. Disbility of the family to solve the stressor, caused familly burden. Some efforts needed to support the familly to solves the problem. The final scientific work was to obtain an overview of efforts to increase the family's ability to manage the burden of care in hospitals. There are 24 families that have been analyzed by the Roy's Adaptation Model. The result is indicated the decreation of the family burden, and showed the increation of the family ability to take care the family member while showed the increation of family burden management. This result recommended the application of the family nursing care management in hospitasl to increased the ability of family member nursing either to increased the ability of family burden management.

Abstract

The purpose of this research study was to explore the experience of lost and grieving among women who experienced infant deaths. This research used a qualitative research method with phenomenological design to ten participants consisted of mothers in subdistrict Limo Depok city meeting the criteria. The result of this study revealed seven themes: the causes of infant deaths, the phase of grieving, responses after loss, social systems support, the lessons of lost, after loss expectations and coping strategies. It’s recommended that the units should be actively involved in facilitating and providing nursing care to the mothers to enable the mothers to cope with the feeling of lost and continues with their happy life.

Abstract

Background: Social isolation is a condition of loneliness felt by the individual being unable to make contact with other people. Social isolation can result in further on the issue of fulfillment of basic needs, so it would appear hallucinations that endanger themselves and others. Objective: The purpose of writing scientific papers to describe social changes, and socialization capabilities in social isolation’s patients using nursing care management of psychiatric specialist. Methods: Nursing orders given to 22 clients using nurses action, Social Skills Training (SST), and Cognitive-Behavioral and Social Skills Training (CBSST). Result: Results obtained reduction in social symptoms of social isolation mark that includes withdraw behaviour, interaction difficulties, refuse to communicate with others, fail to interact with others nearby, disabillity to participate in social activities, ignoring the environtment, and mistrust with others. The result also shown the improvement of socialization patient ability. Conclusion: : There were  reduction in symptoms  of social isolation obviously showed on social aspects as well as an increase in the client's ability to socialize. Recommendations of this study was to use a combination of measures such as nurses and specialist nurses Social Skills Training and Cognitive-Behavioral and Social Skills Training on clients with social isolation.   Key Words : Social Skills Training, Cognitive-Behavioral and Social Skills Training

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendahuluan: Skizofrenia adalah salah satu bentuk gangguan jiwa yang sifatnya menahun dan butuh waktu lama untuk proses penyembuhannya sehingga banyak pasien yang  menghentikan terapi psikofarmaka. Lamanya program pengobatan dan efek samping obat sebagai salah satu penyebab munculnya prilaku ketidakpatuhan pasien terhadap program pengobatannya. Metode: Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan gambaran manajemen kasus spesialis keperawatan jiwa dengan penerapan terapi penerimaan dan komitmen (TPK) pada pasien dengan ketidakpatuhan minum obat di ruang Dewi Amba Rumah Sakit dr. H. Marzoeki Mahdi Bogor. Terapi Penerimaan dan Komitmen diberikan kepada 17 pasien dengan ketidakpatuhan minum obat. Hasil: Hasil yang didapatkan Terapi Penerimaan dan Komitmen efektif meningkatkan kemampuan penerimaan dan komitmen pasien terhadap kepatuhan menjalankan  program terapi psikofarmaka. Diskusi: Terapi Penerimaan dan Komitmen direkomendasikan sebagai terapi spesialis keperawatan jiwa yang dapat diberikan pada pasien gangguan jiwa dengan ketidakpatuhan minum obat.   Kata kunci: Ketidakpatuhan, Terapi Penerimaan dan Komitmen.   ABSTRACT Introduction: Schizophrenia is a form of chronic mental disorders, it took a long time for the healing process, many of the clients stop taking their drugs. The duration of treatment programs and drug side effects as one cause for non-compliance with the client's treatment program. Methods: The purpose of this scientific paper was to describe the nursing case management of the clients medication non-compliance behavior using Interpersonal Peplau and Stress Adaptation Stuart Theories at Dewi Amba nursing ward of dr. H. Marzoeki Mahdi Hospital, Bogor. Acceptance and commitment therapy was conducted 17 clients.  Results: The results obtained Acceptance and Commitment Therapy effectively improve client acceptance and commitment to the medication program therapy. Discussion: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is recommended as therapy nursing specialists, provided to the client with a mental disorder clients who have a problem on medication non-compliance.   Keywords: Non-compliance, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Abstract

Perilaku kekerasan merupakan perilaku atau tindakan seseorang ketika tidak mampu mengatasi stressor yang dialaminya, ditunjukkan dengan perilaku aktual berupa kekerasan baik pada diri sendiri, orang lain, maupun lingkungan baik secara verbal maupun non verbal (Stuart, 2013). Tujuan penulisan karya ilmiah akhir ini adalah menggambarkan penerapan assertiveness training dan terapi kelompok suportif menggunakan Teori Stres Adaptasi Stuart dan Adaptasi Roy pada klien resiko perilaku kekerasan di Rumah Sakit Marzoeki Mahdi Bogor. Intervensi keperawatan yang dilakukan adalah assertiveness training pada 6 klien dan kombinasi terapi assertiveness  training dan terapi kelompok suportif pada 12 orang klien. Pelaksanaan assertiveness training dan terapi kelompok suportif dapat menurunkan tanda dan gejala perilaku kekerasan pada aspek kogitif, afektif, fisiologis, perilaku, dan sosial serta meningkatkan kemampuan adaptif dalam menghadapi peristiwa yang menimbulkan perilaku kekerasan. Kata kunci: risiko perilaku kekerasan, assertiveness training, terapi kelompok suportif, teori stres adaptasi stuart, adaptasi roy APPLICATION OF ASSERTIVENESS TRAINING AND SUPPORTIVE GROUP THERAPY USING THEORY OF STRESS ADAPTATION STUART AND THEORY OF ROY ADAPTATION APPROACH ABSTRACTViolent behavior occurs when a person is not capable of responding to stressors.  This behavior can be manifested by hurting oneself, others, or environment verbally or non verbally (Stuart, 2013). The purpose of this scientific paper was to report the application of assertiveness training and supportive group therapy utilizing the Stuart’s Stress-Adaptation Theory and Roy’s Adaptation Theory towards the clients with potential risk violent behavior who were hospitalized at  Marzoeki Mahdi Hospital in Bogor. Assertiveness training was conducted to six clients and combination of assertiveness training and supportive group therapy to twelve clients. The result of assertiveness training and supportive group therapy depicted that there were decreased signs and symptoms of violent behaviors at all aspects of cognitive, affective, physiological, behavior, and social as well as improvement of ability of clients to be more adaptive in responding to the any stressful situation that can stimuli violent behaviors.  It is recommended that assertiveness training and supportive group therapy can be used as a standard of mental health-psychiatric nursing specialized therapy.   Keywords: violent risk behavior, assertiveness training, supportive group therapy, stuart’s stress-adaptation theory and roy’s adaptation theory

Abstract

The implementation of nursing practice is related tonurses' working environment. The working environment components consist of leadership, culture and management; control over workload; control over practice; and adequate source. The purpose of this study is to identify any correlation between the nurses work environment with the implementation of nursing practice. The research was conducted in IRNA(Inpatients Ward) I and of IRNA II RSU Dr. Saiful  Anwar on May 1stuntil 20th, 2006. Correlation was chosen as the research design using cross sectional study on 196 nurses with two instruments: nurses' work environment, and implementation of nursing practice. The result based on analysis with regression linier indicates that there is a significant correlation between working nurse environment(leadership, culture and management; control over workload; control overpractice; and adequate source) with the implementation of nursing practice (p < 0.05) and control over practice is the biggest sub variable that influences the implementation of nursing practice(B=1.302). In conclusion, the nurse’s working environment influences implementation of nursingpractice in hospital. Keywords:Work environment, Implementation of nursing practice
