Abstract

This research discusses the influence of social media on politics in Holbung Village, Sitiotio District, Samosir Regency. With the emergence and development of information technology, people's behavior has experienced a significant transformation in human thought patterns, feelings and actions. Social media is a potential tool for governments to shape public opinion and influence political participation. In the context of a democratic country like Indonesia, public opinion has a crucial role because it is the basis for government function. This study uses a library study method by collecting data through internet searching and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques include data reduction and data display. The research results show that social media plays a vital role in political participation and the formation of public opinion in the digital era, with both good and bad impacts. Nevertheless, the government needs to monitor political activities in the modern social media era. Social media is not only a communication platform, but also a place for information seeking, discussion and networking. This research aims to analyze how social media shapes political knowledge in society using a qualitative descriptive approach. The research results show that social media has a significant influence in engaging, connecting, and mobilizing political participation, although the receipt of political information via social media may vary between individuals.

Abstract

Community participation in political and government processes is the main pillar in building a healthy and sustainable democracy. Participation of the lower middle class in the political and government process in the city of Bandung is an important focus in efforts to build a democratic and inclusive government. Challenges such as limited access to information and economic factors have hampered their participation, but there are also opportunities that can be exploited, such as advances in information technology and community empowerment programs. The type of research used is qualitative through literature study and field study. Qualitative research methods are research methods used to explain a phenomenon in depth. Through literature research and field surveys, it was found that local governments, NGOs and communities need to work together to overcome these challenges and take advantage of existing opportunities. Therefore, increasing the participation of the lower middle class community in Bandung is not an easy thing, but is an important step to build a more inclusive, competitive and just society. Through continued cooperation, Bandung has the potential to become an inspiring example of how to strengthen community participation in political processes and governance and create a better future for all citizens.

Abstract

The article is titled "The Role of Youth in the Village Head Election in Kaban Tengah Village, STU Jehe District, Pakpak Bharat Regency." This article aims to describe the role of youth in the village head election in Kaban Tengah Village, STU Jehe District, Pakpak Bharat Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Based on the research results, the author found that the youth's participation in the village head election in Kaban Tengah Village is influenced by socio-political agents, such as family, peer groups, schools, workplaces, mass media, and direct political contact. The dissemination and introduction of elections to the youth in Kaban Tengah Village are carried out by socializing the importance of elections to the youth, conducted by the KPU and the government of Pakpak Bharat Regency. Youth is very important to ensure the realization of a democratic and integrity-filled election process in Kaban Tengah Village.

Abstract

Kinship politics is a political strategy that uses family relationships and kinship ties to establish power and strengthen political positions. The kinship in question includes family members, blood relations, marriage relations and extensions such as tribe and clan. This research focuses on the role of kinship in the election of village heads in Dolog Huluan Village. This research uses a qualitative research method with a qualitative descriptive approach which aims to collect, analyze and interpret data in the form of words, actions or symbols in the form of narratives, interviews, observations or documents to produce in-depth knowledge and understanding regarding the role of kinship in the election of heads. village. It is hoped that this research can provide awareness to the public that kinship politics has a negative influence even though in the end kinship politics is valid and acceptable. The results of the analysis reveal that in Dolog Huluan Village there is still kinship politics that occurs during the election of the village head, which essentially has a huge influence on the clan.

Abstract

This research aims to examine local political dynamics related to the practice of nepotism and internal conflict in the Cinta Rakyat Village Government. The problems studied include an analysis of the factors that influence the emergence of nepotism and internal conflict in the context of village government, as well as their impact on the sustainability of local development and community trust in local government institutions. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using a descriptive and interpretive approach to understand local political dynamics related to nepotism and internal conflict. The research results show that the practice of nepotism and internal conflict in the Cinta Rakyat Village Government is influenced by factors such as local power dynamics, socio-economic structure and political culture of the local community. Nepotism and internal conflict have hampered the effectiveness and sustainability of village development and reduced public trust in village government institutions. This research provides a deeper understanding of the complexity of local politics at the village level and highlights the importance of policy reform to overcome nepotism and internal conflict in local government in order to realize sustainable development and transparent and accountable government.

Abstract

This research discusses the role of social media in increasing community political participation in Candirejo village, Biru Biru subdistrict, Deli Serdang district. Social media is a potential tool for the government to shape public opinion and influence political participation. In the context of a democratic country like Indonesia, public opinion has a crucial role. because it is the basis for government functions, this research uses a qualitative descriptive method, the research stage is carried out by collecting data, interviews, observations and analysis, the results of the research show that social media plays a vital role in political participation and the formation of public opinion in the digital era, with an impact good and bad. Nevertheless, the government needs to monitor political activities in the modern social media era. Social media is not only a communication platform, but also a place for information seeking, discussion and networking. This research aims to find out how social media shapes political participation in society using a qualitative descriptive approach. The research results show that social media has a significant influence in engaging, connecting, and mobilizing political participation, although the receipt of political information via social media may vary between individuals.

Abstract

This research aims to determine community satisfaction with services and how officers behave in providing services. Therefore, government officials should pay attention to the dimensions above to create community satisfaction. Of course, this is not something that is easy to do, because it requires a long process and time. to change the culture that has surrounded the attitude and behavior patterns of the government bureaucracy so far. This research method uses qualitative descriptive research methods in research aimed at providing a general overview of the nature of qualitative descriptive research methods in research on the quality of public services in Kenangan Baru Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, data analysis in qualitative descriptive research with 5 people as the population and sample. With conclusions, however, until now the services that have been provided to the community are sometimes still difficult to access directly by the community and the procedures are sometimes complicated and often make it difficult for the community when they have to process certain letters or permits, unclear costs and the occurrence of illegal levies ( extortion), is currently a reflection of the low quality of service in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the political communication strategies implemented by regional governments to increase participation in rural communities, especially in Karangsari Village, Bantur District, Malang Regency. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the Karangsari Village government uses various communication strategies, including direct outreach, use of local media, and community forums. This strategy has succeeded in increasing community awareness and participation in various village development programs. The key factors that support the success of this strategy are community trust in village leaders, openness of information, and active involvement of various stakeholders. This research provides important insights for other local governments in designing and implementing effective political communication strategies to increase rural community participation.

Abstract

The development of housing infrastructure through individual participation and community participation in local communities becomes infrastructure that builds the economy of the Cinta Rakyat Village community. Currently, infrastructure development in Cinta Rakyat Village is experiencing good progress, driven by the local community's need for good infrastructure. This research is in accordance with qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Qualitative research was chosen as the type of research used in this research. The choice of qualitative research is because there are several factors that take precedence in terms of elaborating and explaining a phenomenon to be studied. In qualitative research there is also more explaining, describing and more analysis using an inductive approach. The data collection techniques used by researchers are techniques from relevant sources. In this case, the focus of various in-depth reference sources is the presence of key informants who have previously been given access to provide in-depth questions related to the problem topic being researched. Infrastructure has an important role as one of the driving wheels of economic growth and the development of physical facilities and infrastructure or often referred to as infrastructure is a very important part of the public service system. Development of rural transportation infrastructure to support increased accessibility for rural communities.

Abstract

This research explores the political behavior of the Javanese community in Bandar Klippa Village in the village head election, especially the Javanese community but the reality of the problem is still very thick with the problem of Javanese cultural traditions, this still dominates as a national culture and tradition in Indonesia. The election of the village head in Bandar Klippa Village reflects the dynamics of the political behavior of the Javanese community which is influenced by factors that influence the political behavior of the Javanese community such as mutual cooperation and togetherness, traditional customs and values, community economic conditions, attractiveness of economic programs, level of education, criticism and rationalism, influence of community leaders and local elites, family influence, access and influence of social media, campaigns through traditional media, community views on community political behavior in the election of the village head. So that this research uses qualitative which is intended to describe the phenomenon of what is experienced by the research subject in the form of perceptions, actions and behavior which are then described in the form of descriptions, and the techniques used in qualitative research using interviews to obtain sources (informants) from the community around Bandar Klippa.
