The validity and level of practicality will be known. The type of research used is educational design research (EDR) with the Plomp development model which has three stages, namely preliminary research (initial investigation), prototyping phase (prototype formation stage), and assessment phase (assessment/testing). However, the assessment phase was not carried out in this study where the research was carried out until the results of the validity and practicality of the LKPD were obtained. The validity test was conducted by 3 chemistry lecturers at FMPA UNP and 2 chemistry teachers at SMAN 3 Padang using a validity questionnaire sheet. Practicality was conducted by 2 chemistry teachers and 9 students of phase F SMAN 3 Padang. The results of the study based on the validity test showed an average Aiken'V 0.87 with a valid category and based on the practicality test showed an average of 90% by students with a very practical category and 94% by teachers with a very practical category. Abstract

Teaching materials for Sekolah Penggerak should be prepared based on a creative thinking learning model such as project-based learning (PjBL). However, based on the needs and situation of teachers towards the implementation of PjBL-based learning, implementation of PjBL in learning is still low, since the teachers in Padang need the advance training of preparation in PjBL learning material. The Community service activities have been carried out to provide experienced chemistry teachers in developing teaching materials based on Project-Based Learning. The implementation methods carried out in this activity are: (1) Analyzing the needs and situation of teachers towards the implementation of PjBL-based learning through questionnaires distributed, (2) Submission of material to service participants related to the PjBL learning model and syntax in this learning model explained by the speaker, then (3) Teachers are given the task of compiling and designing chemistry LKPDs using the PjBL model, (4) Teachers will present the results of the LKPD design compiled, and (5) evaluation of activities. The results of the service activities carried out can provide experience and understanding for chemistry teachers in Padang city regarding the PjBL learning model. Participants who attended this service activity could prepare chemistry teaching materials using the PjBL model so that teachers could be more innovative and creative. This activity service can provide motivation for teachers to prepare teaching materials in accordance with the demands of the Kurikulum Merdeka, especially in the implementation of project-based learning.

Abstract

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, it caused a very significant change in education. The learning was done online. So that makes the Indonesian student lose. The free curriculum also demands free study, as summarized in PROPELA. That's why research needs to be done to develop textbooks to support the study of the free curriculum matter, atomic structure phase E, and test the validity and practicality of this teaching material. This type of research is called Educational Design Research (EDR) with the Plomp model, which is: (1) preliminary research; (2) development or prototyping; and (3) assessment (not done). Research data from validation is insulated using Aiken's v formula, while registered data is analyzed in a present-day way. Based on the study's results, the teaching material has been valid, with an average score of 0.91. The use of the scripture is easy to understand and view, practical learning, and benefits of teaching, with an average score of 72%. This coursebook is valid and helpful through the formative tests that have been carried out. The final average value of 0.94 is proof of this validity. In addition, this coursebook is also equipped with mental model problems that are proven to help students solve existing problems. This is known from the responses of active and excellent students in solving these problems. In addition, the time spent working on the questions is also sufficient, so it only uses time outside of learning hours.

Abstract

This study aims to develop E-LKM based on Science Technology Society (STS) on colloid material and analyze its validity and practicality in improving students' creative thinking skills. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model, but this research is limited only to the development stage, namely validity and practicality tests. The define stage was carried out by analyzing student needs, curriculum, and relevant colloid concepts. At the design stage, the E-LKM was designed by integrating the STS model. The develop stage includes validation by a team of five experts and practicality testing by two lecturers and Chemistry Education students. The research instruments consisted of interviews, questionnaires, validation sheets, and practicality instruments. The results of the validity test using Aiken's V in terms of material and media obtained 0.89 and 0.93 in the valid category. The results of the practicality test conducted by lecturers and students were 90.15% and 92% with a very practical category. The assessment was carried out based on four aspects of creative thinking: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration, which showed an increase after the use of E-LKM. The results of this study prove that the STS-based E-LKM on colloid material is valid and practical and has the potential to improve students' creative thinking skills. Further research can examine its effectiveness in understanding chemical concepts and its application to other topics

Abstract

Organic fertilizers have been popular lately because they are believed to increase agricultural yields and are environmentally friendly. With the increasing popularity of fertilizer use, farmers have innovated to make their organic fertilizers using materials available in their surroundings. The problem experienced by farmers is regarding the testing of the fertilizer produced. This community service activity aims to assist farmers in testing fertilizers in the laboratory and provide insight into testing the effectiveness of fertilizers in Jorong Arikia, Nagari Dalko, Agam Regency, aided by 39 students from Padang State University. Assistance is carried out through discussions related to fertilizers, then continued with preparing for testing and assisting in testing fertilizers. The results of this community service activity are increasing farmers' insight in testing organic fertilizers so that the fertilizers produced can optimize harvest results, be certified, and be produced on a large scale to encourage economic growth in the region. In addition, this PkM activity also aims to provide a forum for UNP students who are carrying out community service program activities to be able to practice the knowledge they have gained on campus in the field. Thus, this PkM program is directly integrated with campus activities and is expected to develop further in the future so as to provide a greater contribution to society.
