Abstract

The community reporting system in Hutadaa Village, West Limboto District, remains dependent on manual mechanisms, leading to delayed responses, unstructured documentation, and difficulty for village officials in prioritizing issues. This community service activity aims to design a prototype of an AI-based smart village service application integrated with the WhatsApp platform, enabling automated classification of community reports and assessment of urgency levels. The design was carried out through four stages: field interview-based needs identification, system architecture design, workflow simulation, and limited testing with village officials. The system was designed by integrating WhatsApp Business API, an AI-based image processing module, and a report management interface for village officials. Simulations demonstrated that the system can classify reports into categories (infrastructure, sanitation, social, emergency) and assign urgency levels (low, medium, high) based on analysis of photo and text content, achieving a category classification accuracy of 82.5% and urgency assessment accuracy of 77.5% under good image quality conditions. Interface testing by village officials yielded positive responses regarding ease of use and feature relevance. The designed system has the potential to improve the efficiency of public services at the village level. Full implementation and long-term impact evaluation are required in subsequent service activities. Sistem pelaporan masyarakat di Desa Hutadaa, Kecamatan Limboto Barat, masih bergantung pada mekanisme manual yang menyebabkan keterlambatan penanganan, dokumen laporan yang tidak terstruktur, dan kesulitan bagi aparat desa dalam menetapkan prioritas penanganan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan merancang prototipe aplikasi layanan desa cerdas berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI) yang terintegrasi dengan platform WhatsApp, yang memungkinkan klasifikasi otomatis laporan warga beserta penilaian tingkat urgensinya. Perancangan dilaksanakan melalui empat tahap: identifikasi kebutuhan berbasis wawancara lapangan, desain arsitektur sistem, simulasi alur kerja, dan uji coba terbatas bersama perangkat desa. Sistem dirancang dengan mengintegrasikan WhatsApp Business API, modul pemrosesan gambar berbasis AI, dan antarmuka manajemen laporan untuk aparat desa. Simulasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mengklasifikasikan laporan ke dalam kategori (infrastruktur, kebersihan, sosial, darurat) dan menetapkan tingkat urgensi (rendah, sedang, tinggi) berdasarkan analisis konten foto dan teks, dengan akurasi klasifikasi kategori sebesar 82,5% dan akurasi penilaian urgensi sebesar 77,5% pada kondisi gambar berkualitas baik. Pengujian antarmuka oleh perangkat desa menghasilkan respons positif terhadap kemudahan penggunaan dan relevansi fitur. Sistem yang dirancang berpotensi meningkatkan efisiensi layanan publik di tingkat desa. Diperlukan implementasi penuh dan evaluasi dampak jangka panjang pada tahap pengabdian berikutnya.

Abstract

The design of an Arduino Uno-based water acidity (pH) monitoring device for boilers at Steam Power Plants (PLTU) fundamentally provides significant assistance to field technicians who monitor water acidity levels daily. Currently, the water sampling process for boilers is generally conducted manually, which is inefficient because the water quality in the boiler fluctuates constantly, while sampling is only performed every eight hours. The objective of this research is to design a pH monitoring device for boilers and display the sensor readings on an LCD monitor. The methodology used in this study involves experimental design for both hardware and software. The hardware utilizes a pH sensor with a pH 4502C module as the input, which is then processed by an Arduino and displayed on the LCD. The results indicate that the pH sensor system using the pH 4502C module can achieve a reading accuracy of up to 95.6%, and the device is considered to be in compliance with national standards. During detection, the sensor monitors pH levels between 7.0 and 11.0; if the level exceeds the 11.0 threshold, the buzzer will deactivate.

Abstract

PT. Sinar Kristal Nusantara currently only relies on driver experience in determining distribution routes without special studies, which causes delays in the delivery of crystal ice products due to irregular distribution flow. This study aims to determine the optimal distribution route with the shortest distance to make deliveries more efficient and timely. The methods used are Nearest Neighbor and Tabu Search algorithm. The process starts by classifying the initial route using Saving Matrix, then determining the optimal route through Nearest Neighbor and Tabu Search. The results showed that this method resulted in a total mileage of 31.05 km with a travel time of 37.26 minutes, more efficient than the current route which reached 63.90 km with a time of 75 minutes. Tabu Search proved to be a superior optimization method because it produced a shorter route than using Nearest Neighbor alone. In conclusion, the combination of Nearest Neighbor and Tabu Search can improve the efficiency of crystal ice distribution at PT. Sinar Kristal Nusantara.

Abstract

Mathematics learning at the senior secondary level often faces challenges related to student engagement, heterogeneous comprehension levels, and the absence of interactive feedback mechanisms. This study develops and evaluates a web-based mathematical puzzle game named "ISOMETRIA" that integrates WebSocket technology to support real-time multiplayer features for learning the reflection topic among Grade XI students at MAN 1 Gorontalo City. The research follows the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The system was built using Phaser.js on the front end and Node.js, Express.js, and Socket.io on the back end, deployed via Vercel and Railway. WebSocket communication is structured into four phases: matchmaking, character selection, map exploration, and battle. A server-authoritative approach with a 200 millisecond race window mechanism was implemented to ensure fair and consistent gameplay under varying network latency conditions. Functionality testing across 25 scenarios confirmed that all features performed as expected. Effectiveness was evaluated with 38 students using a pre-test and post-test design. Mean scores improved from 57.1 to 69.2, and Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test results yielded p 0.001, indicating a statistically significant improvement. Student response questionnaires returned an average score of 3.58 (sufficient agreement), covering usability, engagement, and perceived benefit.
