Abstract

One of the important plant cultivation techniques in an effort to increase optimal shallot production is fertilization. Fertilizers provide plants with nutrients that are lacking in the soil. If one of the nutrients needed is lacking, plant growth will suffer and crop yields will decrease. Fertilizer application on shallot plants can use organic fertilizers, this type of fertilizer can meet the needs of shallots for macro and micro nutrients. The materials used in this study were: Batu Hijau red onion, goat manure, cow manure. Research methods This study used a Complete Randomized Block Design (RAKL), with 6 treatment levels. K0: Cow manure 0 tons/ha (polybag) + Goat manure 0 tons/ha (0 g/polybag), K1: Cow manure 0 tons/ha (0g/polybag) + Goat manure 12.5 tons/ ha (62.5g /polybag), K2:Cow manure 0 tons/ha (0g/polybag) + Goat manure 25 tons/ha (125g /polybag), K3:Cow manure 10 tons/ha (50g/polybag) )+Goat manure 0 tons/ha (0g/polybag), K4:Cow manure 10 tons/ha (50g/polybag)+Goat manure 12.5 tons/ha (62.5g/polybag), K5:Manure cowshed 10 tons/ha (50g/polybag) + goat manure 25 tons/ha (125g/polybag). Analyzed using the Anova test, further tested with the LSD test (Less Significant Difference) at the 5% level. Based on the results of the analysis of the smallest significant difference (LSD) test, it showed that 2.5 tons/ha of goat manure produced the highest number of leaves, namely 36 leaves.

Abstract

Improving ruminant feed quality is an important factor in increasing livestock productivity and health. To improve feed quality, accompanying forage-based ruminant feed preparation with fermentation technology innovation is the focus of community service activities. Accompanying forage-based ruminant feed preparations with a fermentation technology approach is intended to optimize the nutrition and microbial content in the feed, thereby increasing the availability of nutrients and digestion of livestock, with impact factors on growth, animal health, and milk production. Fermentation technology innovations can improve feed quality by increasing nutritional content, reducing anti-nutritional ingredients, and increasing nutritional availability for livestock without depending on or being influenced by changes from the rainy season to the dry season.

Abstract

The philosophy of education plays a fundamental role in shaping the direction of knowledge development, including science that is grounded in the values of local wisdom. Human beings possess the innate capacity to think and continuously strive to enhance their knowledge. Naturally endowed with curiosity, humans constantly seek answers to their questions through the pursuit of knowledge, which in turn brings intellectual satisfaction in accordance with the demands of the times. Knowledge is not only about understanding facts but also about seeking truth through proper scientific inquiry. Learning through well-founded scientific reasoning is one of the ways humans pursue truth. This study aims to examine the essence of the philosophy of education in the development of science based on local wisdom. The surrounding natural environment gives rise to unique forms of local wisdom that serve as potential foundations for scientific development. Science—encompassing physics, chemistry, and biology—relies on scientific methods, logical reasoning, and systematic frameworks. This is where the philosophy of science becomes essential in studying, revealing, and solving scientific problems in human life.Developing science based on local wisdom strengthens national identity, fosters ecological awareness, and cultivates learners who think scientifically while remaining rooted in their cultural heritage. This study discusses the importance of developing science based on local wisdom as a means of preserving natural resources, traditions, and cultural practices within society. Through a literature review approach, this paper explores the relevance between educational philosophy and the integration of local values in science education. The findings reveal that the philosophy of education plays a crucial role in framing the development of science that is not only oriented toward scientific rationality but also upholds moral, cultural, and spiritual values within society.
