Abstract

This research was conducted at a service company engaged in the certification sector. The ability to handle a problem related to certification is the main requirement in determining the quality of services provided by the company. This study uses the Multinomial Logistic Regression Method which aims to find out the general description and the factors that affect employee performance in carrying out their daily work. This study uses primary data collected through online survey sheets for North Jakarta branch employees. The results of the study show that the factors that influence employee performance in certification service companies are the competence of the workforce in the form of Bachelor's degree educational background and work experience. For 6 years and employee training, while other factors have no significant effect.

Abstract

This community service partner is the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) PERMAI in Penang. PERMAI members are generally Indonesian workers who work in Penang, some of whom work as home-based food traders. Around where he lives, traders produce waste, including organic waste from cooking activities and leftovers from selling vegetables and fruit. This organic waste rots easily if left alone, causing an unpleasant odor in the surrounding area and causing a smelly and unhealthy environment. One way to handle organic waste, especially rotten fruit and vegetables produced from household or restaurant waste, is by making liquid fertilizer. The implementation method used is two stages, namely: 1) preparation stage; production originating from appropriate technological equipment activities for making liquid fertilizer, discussions and sharing with team members, and 2) the stage of implementing community service at partner locations, distributing questionnaires before and after the exposure. The expected target in this community service activity is to increase the knowledge of the Indonesian working community in Pulau Pinang regarding how to make and the benefits of liquid fertilizer which can be made from everyday household vegetable and fruit waste.

Abstract

The inventory system throughout the supply chain network must be effectively controlled, making Work in Process (WIP) inventory control essential. In tire manufacturing, Green Tire inventory holds the highest WIP value and is consistently maintained. However, inconsistent order quantities have resulted in uncontrolled inventory levels, leading to overstock in the storage area. This study aims to analyze the priority categories of Green Tire inventory, evaluate the optimal order quantities, and compare total inventory costs to minimize the overall cost. The methods used include ABC Analysis and Production Order Quantity (POQ) with safety stock, applying service levels of 93%, 90%, and 80% for A, B, and C categories, respectively. The findings indicate that Green Tire inventory class A accounts for 65% of the volume and 67% of the total inventory value, class B for 23% of the volume and 28% of the value, and class C for 11.9% of the volume and 5% of the value. Implementing the POQ method standardizes order quantities across rim codes, reducing maximum inventory levels by up to 69.38%. Total storage cost savings reached 66.15%, with only a 0.2% increase in setup costs. The POQ method achieved total inventory cost savings of 52.37% for Green Tire inventory.

Abstract

AbstractAll industries face new challenges after COVID-19, including the Indonesian poultry industry. As an essential food supply sector, the poultry industry supply chain must respond and adapt to new post- COVID-19 conditions. This study aims to analyze the relationship between agility and sustainability in the supply chain of the Indonesian poultry industry for facing various challenges. The method used in this research was the Interpretive Structural Modeling-“Matriced Impacts Croisés Appliquée á un Classement” (ISM-MICMAC) method. The agility and sustainability variables were validated initially by involving industrial supply chain stakeholders in the Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The study successfully modeled the relationship between agility and sustainability in the integrated supply chain of the Indonesian poultry industry. The agility variable is the driver for the sustainability of the integrated national poultry industry supply chain, with customer sensitivity being an essential key factor in improving the sustainability of the Indonesian poultry supply chain.Keywords: COVID-19, agility, sustainability, ISM-MICMAC AbstractSemua industri menghadapi tantangan baru pasca COVID-19, termasuk industri unggas nasional. Abstract

Cleaner production is not only about changing raw materials, processes and products. It is also about changing attitudes and behaviour of all stakeholder. An understanding of the dynamics of change within and external organisations undertaking cleaner production can help to improve the success for implementation. The purpose of this study was to provide insight into the range of key factors that are potentially relevant to the success of cleaner production implementation on crumb rubber industry based on expert opinion and organizational perception. Factor analysis techniques with principal component and prospective analysis were aplied to extract that factors, while correlation analysis was used to inference the influence the organizational factors with cleaner producion performance. Principal component analysis resulted 13 factors, namely: internal communication, evaluation tools, environmental benefit, employee ability, profesional team, incentive system, cleaner prodution centre, community consultation, regulation, operational policy, environmental investment, green consumers, and environment requisite. The correlation of those factors with cleaner production performance at crumb rubber industry was not good (rs < 0,5). Abstract

Kegiatan perawatan dan pemeliharaan merupakan salah satu penyebab terjadinya keterlambatan jadwal penerbangan suatu maskapai. Berdasarkan laporan dari salah satu maskapai penerbangan nasional terdapat 39% pekerjaan maintenance tidak dapat terselesaikan pada periode Januari 2022 - Juni 2023. Peningkatan produktivitas maintenance diperlukan agar dapat meningkatkan jumlah pekerjaan selesai dan memperkecil kontibusinya terhadap keterlambatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas pada divisi maintenance. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) untuk mengetahui nilai perbaikan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan perbaikan, metode Maintenance Value Stream Maping (MVSM) untuk membuat peta aliran proses kegiatan  maintenance sehingga dapat mengetahui penyebab efektivitas dan efisiensi yang tidak tercapai dengan metode fishbone diagram. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa efisiensi keseluruhan peralatan (OEE) yang pada awalnya hanya 29,38% sebelum dilakukannya perbaikan dapat meningkat secara signifikan mencapai nilai 54,49% pada akhir perbaikan. Setelah melakukan pemetaan proses dengan Current MVSM didapatkan nilai sebesar 38,70% yang disebabkan oleh faktor -faktor utama yang berkontribusi pada rendahnya efektivitas dan efisiensi termasuk kekurangan dalam keterampilan, pengalaman, dan motivasi tim, hambatan dalam komunikasi dan strategi perencanaan, kurangnya pemeriksaan terhadap peralatan dan penggunaan alat yang tidak efektif, manajemen persediaan sparepart yang tidak memadai, serta lingkungan kerja yang kurang mendukung. Melalui simulasi yang melibatkan sebuah tim kecil yang dikondisikan secara ideal, nilai Value Added dari pemetaan Future MVSM meningkat menjadi 45,54%.

Abstract

Menurunnya produktivitas IKM furnitur menjadi sebuah tantangan bagi pelaku IKM dan pemerintah untuk memikirkan bagaimana cara agar IKM furnitur mampu meningkatkan produktifitas. Penentuan strategi penempatan dan sumber daya alam belum tentu merupakan strategi yang terbaik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor permasalahan dalam strategi peningkatan produktivitas produk furnitur Morowali dan memberikan masukan kepada IKM tentang strategi peningkatan produktivitas produk furniture yang lebih optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan PDCA dan dikombinasikan dengan metode SWOT.Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa kurangnya pemahaman operator dan tidak optimalnya penggunaan alat produksi menjadi penyebab utama kurangnya produktivitas. Untuk itu dibutuhkan standarisasi pada waktu dan proses produksi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis IFAS dan EFAS menunjukan sentra IKM furniture Morowali berada pada posisi yang baik pada sel I dengan nilai IFAS 3,4 dan nilai EFAS 3,1 yang menyarankan strategi Strength Opportunities (SO).Strategi SO yang disarankan dari hasil analisis SWOT adalah Setelah dilaksanakan implementasi strategi peningkatan produktivitas pada sentra IKM furniture Morowali. Memaksimalkan produktifitas peralatan untuk memenuhi jumlah permintaan dan Mengagendakan pelatihan sistem produksi untuk meningkatkan produktifitas. Implementasi strategi dilakukan melalui pelaksanaan pelatihan 5S dan sistem kerja produksi serta pemberlakuan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) pada sentra IKM furnitur Morowali. diketahui produktifitas meningkat sebanyak 7% setelah dilakukanya implementasi strategi peningkatan produktifitas.

Abstract

SNI ISO 9001:2015 adalah standar Sistem Manajemen Mutu yang salah satu fokusnya adalah  tindakan korektif untuk mengendalikan ketidaksesuaian (nonconformity), tetapi pada kenyataanya timbul suatu pertanyaan, karena dari data jumlah ketidaksesuain pada perusahaan tempat dilakukannya penelitian ini, menunjukan angka yang cukup  tinggi yaitu rata-rata106 kasus/tahun. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisa jumlah ketidaksesuaian serta menentukan klausul SNI ISO 9001:2015 yang berpengaruh sehingga bisa menentukan usulan perbaikan.  Metode penelitian termasuk jenis deskriptif analisis yaitu dengan menggunakan data sekunder yang bersifat kualitatif berupa data ketidaksesuaian pada perusahaan dan data primer yaitu hasil observasi / audit pemenuhan klausul SNI ISO 9001:2015, sedangkan analisis dilakukan menggunakan teori GKM (Gugus Kendali Mutu) dengan menggunakan diagram pareto, diagram sebab akibat, dan metode 4M + 1E serta dilakukan analisa korelasi untuk menguji hubungan antara jumlah ketidaksesuaian dengan pemenuhan persyaratan SNI ISO 9001:2015, selanjutnya langkah perbaikan menggunakan metode risk assessment melalui wawancara. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa klausul SNI ISO 9001:2015 yang paling banyak berpengaruh terhadap jumlah ketidaksesuaian (pareto 85.5%) adalah Klausal 8.1 Perencanaan dan Pengendalian Operasi, Klausul 7.1.3 Infrastruktur dan Klausul 7.2 Kompetensi. Rekomendasi pengendalian diantaranya update prosedur, penegasan tugas penanggungjawab ISO departemen, set KPI pelaksanan training dan monitoring preventive maintenance melalui sistem.

Abstract

The shift towards renewable alternative energy has become a critical agenda for countries worldwide, including Indonesia. The Indonesian government has set a goal to reduce CO₂ emissions by 358 million tons, or 12.5% of the national emission reduction target by 2030. This study aims to design an efficient system for measuring the performance of the biodiesel supply chain in mining companies. The research methods used are the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model. The SCOR model is used to create a process-based supply chain performance evaluation system, enabling companies to evaluate their supply chain activities comprehensively for monitoring, control, and communication of business goals to related functions and the supply chain. The SCOR model focuses on five dimensions: reliability, responsiveness, agility, cost, and asset management. As a structured process hierarchy, this model facilitates supply chain management and provides metrics to assess specific performance aspects in these SCOR dimensions. Initially, relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) were validated using the SCOR framework, and the weighting of selected KPIs was carried out using the AHP method. Of the 42 initial indicators, 23 were selected. The results of the performance measurement for the biodiesel supply chain in mining companies showed that the highest SCOR values were for responsiveness and cost (1.00), followed by reliability (0.95), agility (0.88), and asset management (0.82).
