Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan model Brain Based Learning (BBL) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa, untuk menguji apakah self regulated learning (SLR) siswa berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis, dan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa ditinjau dari self regulated learning (SLR) pada pembelajaran BBL. Penelitian ini menggunakan mixed methods dengan jenis penelitian the explanatory sequential design. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes, angket, dan wawancara. Dalam penelitian ini diambil 6 subjek penelitian berdasarkan tingkat SLR pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Al Islam Gunungpati tahun pelajaran 2024/2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pembelajaran BBL efektif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis, (2) terdapat pengaruh SLR terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis yaitu sebesar 63,3%, dan (3) subjek penelitian dengan kategori SLR tinggi mampu memenuhi indikator fluency, flexibility, dan novelty; subjek dengan SLR sedang mampu memenuhi indikator fluency dan flexibility; dan subjek dengan SLR rendah mampu memenuhi indikator fluency. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya dapat menerapkan dan mengembangkan model BBL dengan mengintegrasikannya dengan variabel lain.Kata Kunci: Brain Based Learning, Berpikir Kreatif Matematis, Self Regulated Learning

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kreatif penting dimiliki siswa untuk menghadapi perkembangan teknologi dan menyelesaikan berbagai masalah dalam matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) menguji model CORE berbantuan Canva efektif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa, 2) menguji motivasi belajar berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada model CORE berbantuan Canva, dan 3) mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif ditinjau dari motivasi belajar pada model CORE berbantuan Canva. Penelitian ini menggunakan mixed methods. Tempat penelitian ini adalah SMP Al Islam Gunungpati dengan sampel yaitu VIII C (eksperimen) dan VIII B (kontrol). Subjek penelitian kualitatif adalah 6 siswa dari kelas eksperimen dengan kategori motivasi rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes, angket, dan wawancara. Analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan berbagai uji statistik, sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan simpulan. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa 1) model CORE berbantuan Canva efektif terhadap perkembangan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa, 2) terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif sebesar 21,8%, 3) deskripsi kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa ditinjau dari motivasi belajar adalah (a) kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa motivasi belajar rendah hanya memenuhi indikator kefasihan; (b) siswa motivasi belajar sedang memenuhi indikator kefasihan dan fleksibilitas; (c) siswa motivasi belajar tinggi memenuhi indikator kefasihan, fleksibilitas, dan kebaruan.Kata Kunci: Canva, Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif, Model CORE, Motivasi Belajar

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the knowledge and skills of class teachers in designing differentiated learning programs. The method of implementing community service activities includes 4 stages that adopt the OL (Organizational Learning) approach. The four stages in OL are socialization, externalization, combination, and internalization. The results of the activities have been carried out in the socialization and externalization stages, where teachers have planned diagnostic tests for the basis for making differentiated learning tools. The participants' initial knowledge of differentiated learning scored 50, then increased by 39%, to reach a score of 89. The achievement of the score of increasing knowledge about differentiated learning exceeded the planned indicator of 75. The conclusion of the results of this Community Service activity is that the OL stage is used effectively in optimizing the understanding and practice of differentiated learning in Inclusion Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of the CORE learning model assisted by Liveworksheet and examine the effect of self-efficacy on students' mathematical reasoning. A quantitative method with a posttest-only control group design was used. Instruments included a reasoning test, self-efficacy questionnaire, student response questionnaire, and observation sheet. The sample consisted of eighth-grade students at SMPN 16 Semarang, selected through cluster random sampling. Data analysis involved planning, implementation, evaluation, and simple linear regression. The results showed the CORE model with Liveworksheet was of good quality, and self-efficacy significantly influenced mathematical reasoning, contributing 71.6%. It is recommended that the interactive CORE model be further developed along with differentiated teaching tools to ensure learning becomes more adaptive to students’ needs.

Abstract

Fostering problem-solving skills in social arithmetic is challenging as students often find the topic unengaging, hindering effective teaching and participation. This study aimed to design and develop STEAM and ethnomathematics-based e-module as a valid, practical, and effective learning resource for Grade VII junior high school students studying social arithmetic. By integrating the cultural context of Kudus culinary traditions, the e-module sought to enhance students' problem-solving abilities and engagement. The research utilized Hannafin and Peck’s development model combined with Tessmer’s formative evaluation approach, involving expert validation, individual trials, small group evaluations, and field testing. The findings revealed that the e-module was highly valid, with expert evaluations scoring it at 91.5%. Practicality assessments yielded scores of 98.3% for individual trials and 98.2% for small group evaluations, both categorized as "very practical." The module significantly improved learning outcomes, with an average score improvement of 43.6% and an N-Gain score of 71.6%, indicating its effectiveness. Moreover, the e-module enhanced students' problem-solving abilities by 41.8%. This study highlights the potential of integrating STEAM and ethnomathematics with cultural elements to create engaging learning materials, offering an innovative approach to improving students' mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills.      Keywords: etnomathematics, problem solving, STEAM. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v25i4.pp1738-1751

Abstract

Peningkatan mutu pendidikan salah satunya dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan kompetensi pendidik. Upaya untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pendidik dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai berbagai metode, pendekatan, serta strategi yang dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran di kelas terkait juga dengan mencari solusi dari berbagai masalah pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah pendidikan dan pembelajaran. Permasalahan yang ditemui dalam pembelajaran di kelas dapat dikaji dan dituntaskan, melalui proses pembelajaran yang inovatif sehingga hasil belajar yang lebih baik dapat diwujudkan. Upaya PTK diharapkan dapat menciptakan sebuah budaya belajar (learning culture) di kalangan pendidik di sekolah. Untuk memfasilitasi hal tersebut maka dilaksanakan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada para pendidik di Sekolah Dasar Kebon Dalem Semarang untuk dapat menyusun perangkat pembelajaran inovatif berbasis PTK sesuai dengan permasalahan yang dihadapi pendidik pada kelas yang diampunya. Target luaran kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan mengenai PTK dan kemampuan mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran yang inovatif para pendidik peserta pelatihan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Treffinger learning model on students' mathematical creative thinking ability, based on previous research articles. The method used in this research is meta-analysis. The results of the analysis through the calculation of the t-test and effect size show that , indicating that the average mathematical creative thinking ability of students who use the Treffinger model is higher than the average students who follow conventional learning. Thus, there is a significant influence between the mathematical creative thinking ability of students using the Treffinger model, with an effect size of 1.02, which is classified in the large category.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis peserta didik sangat diperlukan untuk memahami dan menyelesaikan permasalahan atau soal matematika yang menuntut penalaran, analisis, evaluasi, dan interpretasi yang mendalam. Namun kenyataannya kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis peserta didik masih tergolong rendah. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan Pendekatan Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik; mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis peserta didik ditinjau dari self-efficacy pada pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan Pendekatan Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL). Penelitian ini menggunakan mixed methods. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Cibal Manggarai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pembelajaran dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan pendekatan Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) berkualitas baik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis peserta didik ditinjau dari tahap perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Deskripsi kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis peserta didik ditinjau dari self-efficacy adalah terdapat keberagaman kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis pada setiap kategori self-efficacy peserta didik.

Abstract

Argumentation is one of the factors considered in measuring critical thinking skills. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Argumentationbased Problem-Based Learning model in enhancing the critical thinking skills of prospective mathematics teachers. This study used a post-test only control design involving 53 prospective mathematics teacher students at UPGRIS, consisting of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class with a purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out through a critical thinking ability test. The data analysis technique used was a prerequisite test analyzing with a paired sample t-test hypothesis test, independent sample t-test and N-gain. The results showed that the experimental class experienced an increase in critical thinking skills in the group theory course. The critical thinking skills of the experimental class with the Problem Based Learning and Argumentation model learning were better than the control class with a sig <0.05. The increase in students' critical thinking skills increased significantly with a moderate category (N-gain = 0.47). The indicator of critical thinking skills in the criteria stating that there are problems in the information provided experienced the greatest increase, while the indicator of constructing valid arguments experienced the lowest increase. There was an increase in the ability of prospective teachers in constructing arguments but in the low criteria. The ability to construct arguments needs to be given special attention in efforts to improve critical thinking skills.
