Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meal Program, initiated by the government to improve child and maternal health, has generated varied public responses on social media. This study aims to classify public sentiment toward the program by applying machine learning models to social media text data. The dataset used consists of 9000 tweets from Platform X that have been manually labeled into positive, negative, and neutral categories. Classification was performed using Support Vector Machine (SVM) and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithms combined with two term weighting techniques Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) and Term Frequency-Absolute (TF-ABS). The performance of each model was evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The results show that SVM model with TF-ABS achieved the best performance with 99.69% accuracy, precision 99.69%, recall 99.68%, and F1-score 99.68%. The KNN model with TF-ABS also performed well, reaching 95.55% accuracy. In contrast, models employing TF-IDF demonstrated noticeably lower performance, with the SVM achieving an accuracy of [75,53%] and the KNN reaching [70,89%], indicating a clear performance gap compared to the TF-ABS weighting scheme. This research provides insights into suitable machine learning models and term weighting methods for sentiment analysis of public opinion on government programs using social media data.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of the CORE learning model assisted by Liveworksheet and examine the effect of self-efficacy on students' mathematical reasoning. A quantitative method with a posttest-only control group design was used. Instruments included a reasoning test, self-efficacy questionnaire, student response questionnaire, and observation sheet. The sample consisted of eighth-grade students at SMPN 16 Semarang, selected through cluster random sampling. Data analysis involved planning, implementation, evaluation, and simple linear regression. The results showed the CORE model with Liveworksheet was of good quality, and self-efficacy significantly influenced mathematical reasoning, contributing 71.6%. It is recommended that the interactive CORE model be further developed along with differentiated teaching tools to ensure learning becomes more adaptive to students’ needs.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kualitas pembelajaran setelah diterapkannya model flipped classroom berbantuan PowerPoint interaktif terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis, serta mendeskripsikan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa berdasarkan kemandirian belajar. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes, kuesioner kemandirian belajar, wawancara, lembar respon siswa, dan lembar observasi untuk menilai keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran. Sampel penelitian dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling, dengan kelas VIII I sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII H sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Pembelajaran Flipped Classroom berbantuan Powerpoint Interaktif terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dinyatakan berkualitas, (2) Kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar pada pembelajaran Flipped Classroom berbantuan PowerPoint Interaktif menunjukkan bahwa: Siswa berkemampuan kemandirian belajar tinggi berhasil memenuhi seluruh indikator; Siswa berkemampuan kemandirian belajar sedang belum mampu memenuhi indikator penyajian pernyataan matematika melalui tulisan, gambar, simbol, atau diagram, dan untuk indikator lainnya ada yang dapat memenuhi ada yang tidak dapat memenuhi; dan Siswa berkemampuan kemandirian belajar rendah tidak dapat memenuhi semua indikator, kecuali indikator melakukan manipulasi dan menarik kesimpulan terdapat satu subjek yang mampu memenuhi indikator tersebut.

Abstract

Riset dilaksanakan dengan tujuan menilai efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran CPS yang dipadukan penggunaan Liveworksheet untuk meningkatkan literasi statistik siswa. Metode yang digunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, melibatkan dua kelas VIII MTs Nurul Huda Semarang sebagai responden penelitian. Kelas VIII C ditetapkan kelompok eksperimen yang mendapatkan pembelajaran berbasis model CPS dengan dukungan Liveworksheet, sedangkan kelas VIII D menjadi kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan model PBL. Pengukuran literasi statistik dilakukan dengan pengukuran sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Berdasarkan analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam literasi statistik dalam kelompok perlakuan dibandingkan dengan kelompok tanpa perlakuan. Fakta ini didukung oleh hasil uji-t yang mengungkapkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antar kelompok, serta hasil analisis N-Gain yang menggambarkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan belajar. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa integrasi model CPS dengan media Liveworksheet efektif digunakan sebagai upaya untuk menumbuhkan literasi statistik peserta didik.

Abstract

Teaching modules are one of the important educational tools that support the success of the learning process. This training and mentoring activity is conducted with the aim of providing knowledge and equipping elementary school educators to be able to develop Innovative Learning Teaching Modules. The mentoring and training activities for the preparation of innovative learning teaching modules were conducted at Kebon Dalem Elementary School in Semarang and were attended by 32 teachers. The activities were carried out in the form of training and mentoring divided into two stages. The first stage uses lecture, demonstration, and question-and-answer methods. In the second stage, assignments were given and the results of the teaching module products were presented. This activity provides a lot for the participating teachers because, in addition to imparting knowledge about innovative learning modules, it also offers assistance in the preparation of teaching modules for the teachers of Kebon Dalem Elementary School Semarang. The teaching module products generated in this activity can subsequently serve as a resource for teachers to carry out follow-up actions such as conducting classroom action research. The teachers hope that similar training activities can be conducted periodically and continuously, addressing topics relevant to the professional development of educators in elementary schools.
