Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of brand image in mediating word of mouth and product quality in the purchase decision of PT Maybank Finance's Jambi car loan service product. This research method is descriptive quantitative. This research was conducted using simple random sampling method. Researchers distributed questionnaires to 100 respondents who were customers of PT Maybank Finance in Jambi. The data analysis technique in this study uses Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS version 3.0 PLS software. The results showed that word of mouth had no effect on purchasing decisions. Product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Word of mouth does not affect brand image. Product quality has a positive and significant effect on brand image. Brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. In conclusion, positive or negative word of mouth will not affect Maybank Finance's decision to buy an unsecured car. Brand image is unlikely to influence word of mouth on purchasing decisions. Brand image can effectively mediate product quality on purchasing decisions. Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of organizational citizenship behavior in mediating the influence of competence and organizational culture on employee performance. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study are credit marketing officers, employees of Maybank Finance for the marketing department. This study uses a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach based on Partial Least Square (PLS) using SmartPLS 3.3 software. The results showed that competence, organizational culture and organizational citizenship behavior each had a significant and positive effect on employee performance. The influence of these three variables is 71% and the rest is influenced by other variables not examined by 29%. In conclusion, organizational citizenship behavior variable has a role in mediating the influence of competence on employee performance and organizational citizenship behavior variable also mediates the influence of culture on employee performance. Abstract

Covid-19 yang melanda dunia berdampak global pada seluruh tatanan sendi kehidupan, utamanya pada sektor ekonomi, terkhusus pada penurunan kegiatan produksi, distribusi, dan konsumsi yang berakhir dengan menurunnya tingkat kemakmuran atau kesejahteraan masyarakat. Pandemi Covid-19 membawa dampak kepada menurunnya pertumbuhan ekonomi hampir diseluruh dunia termasuk negara ASEAN-5. Paper ini hendak melakukan komparasi atas faktor penentu pertumbuhan ekonomi yang dimiliki oleh negara ASEAN-5 dengan mengambil referensi model teori pertumbuhan ekonomi baru (new growth economy) yang dikembangkan oleh Sollow dan Roomer. Paper ini adalah tinjauan deskriptif eksplanatif komparatif yang bertujuan melakukan komparasi dan penjelasan atas faktor penentu pertumbuhan ekonomi di negara Asean-5. Hasil komparasi menunjukkan bahwa dalam pendapatan per kapita, Indonesia tertinggal dari Singapura, Malaysia, dan Thailand. Ketertinggalan Indonesia ini terletak pada masih rendahnya faktor modal manusia serta penelitian dan pengembangan (litbang) dibandingkan dengan negara ASEAN-5. Kata Kunci: ASEAN-5, New Growth Theory, Modal Manusia, Penelitian dan Pengembangan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation on employee performance, the effect of training on employee performance, the effect of compensation on work-life balance, the effect of training on work-life balance, the effect of work-life balance on employee performance, the mediating effect of work-life balance on the effect of compensation on employee performance and the mediating effect of work life balance on the effect of training on employee performance. The research model used is a survey method with a quantitative approach, namely by focusing on hypothesis testing. The sample of this research is 171 employees of PT Artha Lestari. The sampling method is the Likert Scale Method.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan meneliti pengaruh langsung antara kualitas produk dan harga terhadap keputusan pembelian, serta melihat pengaruh secara tidak langsung ketika di mediasi oleh strategi promosi. Populasi penelitian merupakan konsumen gerai Chatime di wilayah Tanjung Duren dimana peneliti mengambil sampel sebanyak seratus orang responden. Teknik Non-probability sampling digunakan sebagai teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling. Di dalam menganalisis data digunakan analisis Structural Equation Modelling untuk melihat pengaruh secara langsung dan tidak langsung dari model yang diteliti. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa seluruh hipotesis terdukung oleh data yang ada, dimana terbukti terdapat pengaruh secara langsung antara kualitas produk dan harga terhadap keputusan pembelian, serta terbukti pula bahwa strategi promosi mampu memediasi hubungan antara keduanya.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is the key to creating customer loyalty, as are the services at hospitals, which include administrative services, medical services, drug availability, and patient waiting times when visiting the hospital. This study will examine aspects of administrative services, medical services, and drug availability and their influence on patient satisfaction, with waiting time as a moderating variable, at Pakuhaji Hospital, Tangerang Regency. The research method was a descriptive study using a questionnaire instrument with a sample of 92 patients at Pakuhaji General Hospital, Tangerang Regency. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence on administrative services (p=0,000), medical services (p=0,000), and drug availability (p=0,024) on patient satisfaction at Pakuhaji General Hospital, Tangerang Regency (α=0,05). Waiting time with questions, namely waiting time less than 60 minutes can be moderately administrative; waiting time for outpatient services less than 60 minutes can be moderately medical; and waiting time for laboratory examination results less than 30 minutes can be moderately medical at Pakuhaji Hospital, Tangerang Regency.

Abstract

The era of globalization is a time when competition becomes increasingly tight, employees are required to be able to show extra work behavior that can exceed the expectations of the organization (extra role behavior). The existence of high initiative from employees is able to improve the effectiveness of an organization, while employees who have good organizational support will also form positive behavior as a form of reciprocal support to the organization. Through employee engagement is expected to strengthen the behavior of the organization's citizenship. In Indonesia is currently entering the era of demographic bonuses, the condition makes this research interesting to do in millennials. The purpose of this study is to test the influence of employee engagement in mediating perceived organizational support to the organizational citizenship behavior of 83 millennial employees of PT Tatalogam Lestari. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) analysis techniques using SmartPLS were used in this study. The results of the analysis stated that there is an influence perceived organizational support, employee engagement and organizational citizenship behavior. Employee engagement is also proven to mediate the influence of perceived organizational support on organizational citizenship behavior. This study found that the higher the perception of organizational support in employees, the higher the sense of attachment of employees with the organization, so as to encourage the occurrence of organizational citizenship behavior in employees.

Abstract

With the rising of AI technology, a new disruption occurred in society. Disruption can actually be a social phenomenon that exists even in Indonesian society. However, the current state is making the disruption become a commercial interest. A bold example is Tesla's AI Bot named Optimus in the @TeslaAIBot account and a new GPT used for Twitter commentaries called @ReplyGPT. Content Analysis was the methodology for this research, with crawling data related to ChatGPT from Twitter from December 2022-January 2023. Both served as the bridge between humans and AI, and both pushed awareness that there are other creatures than humans. The sequential explanatory design method will discover a new perspective of GPT as advanced technology. People realise that the closest thing that could change human civilisation is language models.

Abstract

Every company certainly wants to continuously improve its performance to win the competition in the market, both in creating products needed by the market and providing excellent services for customer satisfaction. However, this will be difficult to achieve without performance improvement from employees. Therefore, every company needs a management approach that can effectively and efficiently accommodate any changes that occur, and one of them is good human resources management (HRM) that can continually adjust and utilize technology. Therefore, PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia continuously provides periodic training to their salesmen in HRM development strategies, in hopes of improving the required competencies and providing a positive impact on the performance of salesmen at Hino dealers. Not only training, but participant motivation is also a factor in achieving better results. This research was conducted using a quantitative method and simple random sampling questionnaire distribution technique, with a known population of 159 salesmen, distributed to 114 respondents. The results of the study showed a significant influence between training and performance. Motivation had a positive and significant effect on performance. Training and motivation had a positive and significant effect on competence. Competency mediated training and performance have a direct and significant impact. Competency mediated between motivation and performance had a significant effect. The results of this study contribute to increasing the effectiveness of training on employee performance. Setiap perusahaan tentunya ingin meningkatkan kinerjanya secara berkelanjutan untuk memenangkan persaingan yang ada di pasar, baik dalam menciptakan barang dibutuhkan oleh pasar maupun layanan yang prima untuk kepuasan pelanggannya. Namun hal tersebut akan sulit untuk dicapai tanpa peningkatan kinerja dari para karyawannya. Oleh karena itu, setiap perusahaan pastinya membutuhkan pendekatan manajemen yang mampu mengakomodasikan setiap perubahan yang terjadi secara efektif dan efisien, dimana salah satunya adalah manajemen sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang baik yang dapat terus melakukan penyesuaian dan pemanfaatan teknologi. PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia secara terus menerus memberikan pelatihan-pelatihan kepada tenaga penjualnya (salesmen) secara periodik dalam strategi pengembangan SDM, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi yang dibutuhkan dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap kinerja salesmen di dealer Hino. Namun tidak hanya pelatihan, motivasi peserta juga menjadi faktor untuk mencapai hasil yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif dan teknik penyebaran kuesioner simple random sampling dengan populasi diketahui sebanyak 159 salesmen melalui penyebaran kuesioner yang diberikan kepada sejumlah 114 responden. Dari hasil penelitian, menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan antara pelatihan terhadap kinerja. Motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja. Pelatihan dan motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi. Kompetensi memediasi pelatihan dan kinerja agar berpengaruh langsung dan signifikan. Kompetensi memediasi antara motivasi dan kinerja adalah berpengaruh signifikan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pelatihan terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Changes in today's times that are getting faster bring company changes to be a challenge in itself. The company's success is inseparable from the importance of a leader in leading the company, besides that the awards given by the company will affect employee performance. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of leadership style and appreciation on employee performance with self-efficacy as a mediating variable at the Pramita Clinical Laboratory in Manado. The number of samples in this study were 80 respondents. The data used is a type of quantitative data obtained from filling out questionnaires by selected respondents through the total sampling method. The analytical method used in this research is through the Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach using the SmartPLS program. The results of this study indicate 1) leadership style has a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy, 2) rewards have a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy; 3) leadership style has no effect on employee performance; 4) rewards have no effect on employee performance; 5) self-efficacy has a positive and significant impact on employee performance; 6) leadership style influences employee performance through self-efficacy as a mediating variable; 7) rewards have an influence on employee performance through self-efficacy as a mediating variable at the Pramita Clinical Laboratory in Manado.
