Abstract

Education quality is a crucial element in the sustainability and reputation of schools, while student transfers can serve as indicators of dissatisfaction with the educational services provided. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the factors influencing education quality and its relationship with student transfer rates at Pelangi Kasih School, North Jakarta. This study employs a qualitative approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the school principal, educators, and students who had transferred out of the school, involving a total of nine informants. To analyze the data, the researcher used NVivo 12 Pro software to assist in processing and examining the interview results. The findings reveal that factors such as the quality of teaching, teacher–student relationships, school facilities, and school management significantly influence perceptions of education quality. Additionally, external factors such as distance to school and academic pressure also contribute to students' decisions to transfer. The study suggests the need to strengthen school management strategies, improve teaching quality, and adopt a holistic approach to student well-being in order to maintain education quality and reduce student transfer rates. The implications of this research are expected to provide valuable insights for school administrators in designing policies that support sustainable education quality.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of transformational leadership on the career development of Generation Y and Z employees, mediated by job satisfaction at PT. VCN. The research was motivated by the perception among some employees of limited career advancement opportunities within the organization. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 108 employees meeting the study criteria, and the analysis was conducted using the SEM-PLS method. The findings reveal that transformational leadership significantly influences both job satisfaction and career development. Job satisfaction is demonstrated to be an effective mediator in the relationship between transformational leadership and career development. Although the direct impact of transformational leadership on career development is moderate (coefficient value: 2.744), the study underscores a clear relationship between leadership style and career advancement. Despite the implementation of transformational leadership, challenges related to career development remain prevalent among employees at PT. VCN. Factors such as self-confidence, work motivation, and recognition are critical to enhancing job satisfaction and fostering a more conducive environment for career growth. This research offers practical insights for the organization, emphasizing the need to optimize transformational leadership practices to boost job satisfaction and employee loyalty. By doing so, the company can better support the sustainable career development of its workforce.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Introduction: Appointment system is very important for people who often have busy schedules to ensure that no time is wasted. Patients mostly dissatisfy on consultation waiting time when they go to the outpatient department. By making it easier for them to make their own appointments, hospitals can also improve operational efficiency. Web-based Appointment System (WAS) in real time model that have been integrated into mobile phone applications such as MySiloam apps can be a strategy though the adoption is still not optimal. Aim: To assess if the perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived ease of use (PEOU) application can influence on the usage intention of the self-appointment feature in the MySiloam application and trust can be a mediator. Method: A quantitative method. The quiestionnaire data from 106 samples was analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach. SEM analysis and hypothesis testing using the WarpPLS application with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. Results: MySiloam users at RS K Jakarta mostly are women aged 17-30 years with a bachelor's degree and work as employee. Analysis results show that PU and PEOU has a significant positive effect on trust of MySiloam user. Perceived Usefulness does not have a significant effect on intention to use while PEOU has. Trust also has a significant positive effect on the intention to use MySiloam. Indirectly, PU has a significant positive effect on the intention to use MySiloam mediated by trust while PEOU does not have significant effect through trust. Discussion: The hypothesis in this study was rejected because the results were not significant, meaning that the perception of usefulness in the MySiloam application did not have a major impact on the intention to use of MySiloam users. It can happen because the factors that influence usage intention of an application are various such as user experience, application quality and hospital responsiveness. Therefore, users may find MySiloam useful but do not intend to use it because there are other factors that are more influential in their considerations. This also happened in other study where the users felt it doesn’t make any difference to use application or go directly to the hospitals. Thus, application developers should consider all of the factors and promote the benefit of MySiloam especially in PEOU and trust so that users will have more intention to use it.

Abstract

Quality health services are a major factor in improving community welfare. However, in the face of increasingly tight competition, RHC Clinic faces challenges in maintaining patient repeat visit interest. This study aims to analyze the effect of health worker competence and brand image on patient repeat visit interest, both directly and through the mediation variable of patient trust. The research method used is quantitative with the Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach through the WrapPLS 8.0 tool. Data were obtained from 100 respondents who were RHC Clinic patients. The results of the study showed that health worker competence and brand image had a significant positive effect on patient trust, which ultimately increased patient repeat visit interest. Patient trust proved to be a mediating variable that strengthened the relationship between health worker competence and brand image on repeat visit interest. Thus, RHC Clinic needs to improve the quality of health workers through routine training and strengthen brand image through marketing strategies and better services in order to maintain patient loyalty.
