Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan metakognisi siswa SMA kelas X pada pembelajaran fisika. Materi fisika yang diajarkan adalah pokok bahasan tentang gerak harmonik sederhana dengan menggunakan lembar kerja siswa (LKS).  Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian quasy experimental, dengan desain the matching-only pretest-posttest control group.  Penelitian ini melibatkan 72 siswa SMA kelas 10 di Provinsi Lampung.  Seluruh siswa yang terlibat dibagi dalam kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kedua kelas diberikan pembelajaran fisika menggunakan LKS, kelas eksperimen menggunakan LKS berbasis inkuiri, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan LKS produk dari suatu penerbit.  Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah melakukan pretes dan postes kemampuan metakognisi dengan menggunakan instrumen soal.  Setelah nilai dihasilkan, maka dilakukan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji kesamaan dua rata-rata pretes, uji perbedaan rata-rata postes, perhitungan n-gain, dan effect size. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan metakognisi kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol.  Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh: (1) Hasil postes kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol, rata-rata kemampuan metakognisi kedua kelas adalah 75,56 dan 50,23; (2) Uji beda dua rata-rata skor postes menunjukkan perbedaan yang sangat signifikan dengan p-value 0,000; (3) Rata-rata n-gain dari kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol, n-gain dari kedua kelas adalah 0,69 dan 0,37; dan (4) Perhitungan effect size adalah 0,90 masuk dalam kategori large.  Berdasarkan perhitungan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran fisika menggunakan LKS berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada materi gerak harmonik sederhana, efektif meningkatkan kemampuan metakognisi siswa.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran berbasis proyek atau project based learning (PjBL) merupakan model pembelajaran di mana siswa mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan melalui suatu proyek dalam jangka waktu tertentu, untuk menyelidiki dan menanggapi pertanyaan kompleks.  Pada model ini, pembelajaran dirancang berdasarkan masalah kehidupan nyata dan ber­sifat ill-structured, sehingga siswa menjadi terdorong lebih aktif dalam belajar dan kreativitas siswa menjadi berkembang. Akan tetapi faktanya kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan model ini relatif rendah.  Untuk itu perlu dilakukan pelatihan penyusunan LKS berbasis model PjBL. Tujuan dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman guru IPA tentang model PjBL, dan keterampilan guru IPA dalam menyusun LKS berbasis PjBL.  Metode pelatihan yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi, dan pendampingan. Kegiatan ini  dilaksanakan di gedung G FKIP Universitas Lampung.  Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru IPA yang tergabung dalam MGMP IPA Kota Bandar Lampung dan Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Model evaluasi program yang digunakan adalah model evaluasi Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP). Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman guru tentang model PjBL, hal ini terlihat dari peningkatan nilai postes dibandingkan nilai pretes dengan n-gain rata-rata sebesar 0,88 (kategori tinggi); dan meningkatnya keterampilan guru dalam menyusun LKS berbasis model PjBL DOI: https://doi.org/10.23960/rp/v1i2.hal.74-81

Abstract

This research aims to find out more about teacher perceptions in students' scientific creativity as a basic for project-based learning models as well as provide information about the use of project-based learning programs that are in accordance with PjBL syntax at the junior high school level in Metro City. This research is a type of qualitative research with a case study approach, data collection techniques used are interviews (interviews), observation and documentation. Then to ensure the validity of the data using technical triangulation and source triangulation followed by data analysis with the research flow, namely identifying problems, determining research designs, determining research roles, determining data collection procedures, data recording, data analysis and verification, and narrating the research results obtained. The results of this research indicate that 54% of teachers have not used the PjBL learning model in learning and the teacher's perception of PjBL is good, but 62% of teachers do not know the PjBL syntax that must be fulfilled in using this learning model. In relation to scientific creativity, teachers do not know what indicators must exist in assessing students' scientific creativity

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate the perceptions of science teachers towards e-worksheet based on the yellow well water purification project to improve students' critical thinking skills. The method used in this research is mixed methods with Explanatory Sequential Design. The data was collected through a questionnaire, then analyzed using descriptive analysis. The questionnaires were distributed to 13 science teacher respondents and 176 junior high school students in Susunan Baru sub-district area. The research results show that 69% of teachers have not used project-based electronic worksheet; based on student questionnaire responses, 72% of teachers have given project assignments to solve problems, but these projects are not based on real problems in the environment. The environmental problem that occurs in Susunan Baru sub-district area is the problem of the quality of well water being polluted by contaminants, causing the water to be yellow and smelly. The current worksheet has not completely train students' critical thinking skills because they are not based on real problems. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that e-worksheet based on the yellow well water purification project is needed to improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Conventional learning that is still applied by teachers causes the quality of human resources in Indonesia to be still relatively low. Teachers should apply learning that can increase the skills needed in 21st century, one of these skills is scientific creativity. In this study to find out the teacher's perspective regarding project-based learning of vegetable waste processing to increase e students' scientific creativity. The research method used is a mixed method with Sequential Explanatory Design. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 10 science teacher respondents at junior high schools in Tanggamus. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that there are still many teachers who apply the lecture method and 100% of the teacher respondents have never implemented project-based learning and have never solved real problems such as processing vegetable waste in science learning. In fact, the problem that occurs in East Kotaagung District is vegetable waste that is not properly processed. As many as 100% of teacher respondents did not know students' scientific creativity, so they had never been able to increase students' scientific creativity. Based on the teacher's perception of these findings, it can be concluded that it is necessary to develop a learning program based on a vegetable waste processing project to increase students' scientific creativity.

Abstract

The rapid development of industry 4.0 makes scientific creativity an important skill for every individual to be able to adapt and develop. Therefore, in the learning process, it is necessary to provide for the development of students' scientific creativity both as a professional skill and as a general life competency. This research aims to describe teachers' perceptions of learning acid-base titration using natural indicators from Rosella Flower extract to increase students' scientific creativity. The research method used was a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 21 high school chemistry teachers throughout Bandar Lampung City. The results of the research show that 100% of teachers have never developed an acid-base titration indicator from Rosella flower extract, and trained students' scientific creativity by providing a real problem. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that it is necessary to develop natural indicators from Rosella Flower extract as a learning medium for acid-base titration to increase students' scientific creativity.

Abstract

The world of education requires practical tools that are not just demonstrations, but also provide relevant active learning experiences that trigger curiosity and fulfill 21st-century skills, namely critical thinking. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of an IoT-based soil sensor practical tool integrated with performance assessment in improving students' critical thinking skills. This study used an embedded mixed-methods experimental design, with a purposive sampling technique to select two classes with similar levels of critical thinking at the beginning of the study. The study involved pre-tests and post-tests in the experimental and control classes. The results showed that the experimental class experienced a significant increase in critical thinking skills, with a post-test score increasing sharply from 48.54 to 90.42, while the control class only increased from 56.60 to 72.99. A significant difference between the two classes was revealed through the ANCOVA test (p = 0.000), which showed that the use of IoT-based tools had a significant impact on students' critical thinking skills, with a Partial Eta Squared of 0.550. Thus, the IoT-based soil sensor practical tool integrated with performance assessment has proven effective in encouraging the improvement of students' critical thinking skills, making it an innovative solution in more interactive and applicable science learning.
