Abstract

Elementary school teachers, particularly in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, face challenges in developing character-based teaching modules due to limited relevant training. This study aimed to enhance teacher competence through in-house training (IHT) integrated with intensive mentoring and digital technology. A qualitative case study was conducted at a Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Kebakkramat, Karanganyar, involving 10 teachers, supported by the principal and school supervisor. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The IHT program significantly improved teachers' competence in designing character-based teaching modules aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum. Findings showed that 80% of participants understood the structure of teaching modules, 70% could align learning outcomes and objectives with activities and assessments, and 80% successfully compiled contextual and systematic modules. All participants benefited from peer feedback and facilitator guidance, while 90% reported increased confidence in implementation. The integration of digital tools such as Google Docs, Canva, and collaborative platforms further supported the training's effectiveness. The study demonstrates that a structured IHT model, combining practical mentoring and technology use, effectively builds both technical and pedagogical competencies. These findings contribute to national efforts in developing adaptive, tech-literate teachers capable of delivering student-centered learning. However, the study's limitations include its small sample size and single-school context. Future research should explore broader implementation with continuous mentoring and strengthened digital reflection practices to ensure sustainable professional development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of differentiated Indonesian language learning in terms of process and content in grade V of SDN 01 Tunggulrejo, specifically focusing on the material of identifying the main idea of a paragraph. The research strategy used is a case study with a focus on planning, implementation, and evaluation of the differentiated learning process in Indonesian language instruction. Data sources include documents such as the annual program (Prota), semester program (Promes), syllabus, lesson plans (RPP), and student learning outcomes for grade V, as well as interviews with students, the class teacher, and the principal. Data collection techniques involve observation, document analysis, and interviews. Data were analyzed using Miles & Huberman’s interactive analysis, consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that lesson planning was carried out effectively through the systematic preparation of lesson plans (RPP) that include all essential components, including mapping student readiness. A scientific approach was applied to encourage students to be active, creative, and innovative. The implementation of differentiated learning involved grouping students based on their initial ability to understand the material. Each group received treatment tailored to their learning needs. Learning activities were designed to be engaging using images, videos, and ice-breaking activities to maintain student interest. Assessment was conducted comprehensively covering attitudes, knowledge, and skills, using various assessment tools such as observation, written tests, and performance sheets.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu kompetensi esensial abad ke-21 yang penting dimiliki siswa, terutama dalam pendidikan vokasi yang menekankan keterampilan praktis dan analitis. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efektivitas implementasi pembelajaran kolaboratif dalam mengoptimalkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran Produk Kreatif dan Kewirausahaan (PKWU) di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Partisipan terdiri atas guru dan siswa kelas XI SMK yang dipilih secara purposif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kolaboratif melalui diskusi kelompok, pemecahan masalah, dan proyek berbasis praktik mendorong peningkatan signifikan dalam lima indikator critical thinking, yaitu mengidentifikasi masalah, menganalisis informasi, mengevaluasi alternatif, mengambil keputusan logis, dan merefleksi hasil kerja. Proses pembelajaran juga membentuk interaksi sosial yang positif, meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi dan kerja sama tim siswa. Strategi ini sejalan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka yang berpusat pada siswa. Meski demikian, kendala seperti partisipasi tidak merata dan keterbatasan waktu perlu mendapat perhatian serius. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pelatihan guru serta pengembangan model pembelajaran kolaboratif yang lebih sistematis dan kontekstual guna meningkatkan efektivitas proses pembelajaran di SMK. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi kontribusi dalam mengembangkan strategi pedagogis yang mampu membekali siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis untuk menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja dan kewirausahaan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of teachers’ roles (both class and subject teachers) in managing the disciplinary behavior of third-grade students in elementary school. The research employed a quantitative approach with an ex post facto correlation design. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using assumption tests, correlation analysis, and multiple regression. Participants included third-grade students, class teachers, and subject teachers, selected through total and purposive sampling techniques. The results indicate that both class and subject teachers significantly contribute to the effectiveness of managing student discipline, with significance values of 0.047 and 0.049 (0.05), respectively. These findings suggest that student discipline is not solely determined by school rules but is also strongly influenced by teachers’ consistency in guiding, supervising, and modeling expected behaviors. Overall, teacher involvement plays a crucial role in enhancing student disciplinary behavior.

Abstract

This study examines teacher training to overcome obstacles in implementing Problem-Based Learning in fifth-grade mathematics at SD Negeri 1 Wonogiri, with an initial average score of 70 and teaching still based on lectures. The purpose of this study is to describe teacher readiness, training implementation, and the results of PBL implementation in fifth-grade mathematics at SD Negeri 1 Wonogiri. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews and observations of teachers and the principal. The findings showed that before the training, teachers were highly motivated but limited in PBL syntax, contextual problem design, and facilitating group discussions. After the training, teachers showed concrete behavioral changes, such as consistently applying the PBL stages, asking provoking questions, and using contextual problems relevant to the local environment. Structured and practice-based PBL training resulted in noticeable improvements in teachers' readiness and confidence. Post-training PBL implementation followed a more systematic pattern from problem orientation to reflection, which was associated with increased student participation, active engagement in group discussions, and understanding of mathematical concepts through problem solving. However, time constraints and differences in student abilities remained challenges.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the integration of digital intelligence in the education curriculum by investigating how elements of digital intelligence can be incorporated to support the development of 21st century skills. Through the literature research method, this study collected and analyzed data from various related articles according to the research context. The results showed that the effective integration of digital intelligence into the curriculum requires structural changes and a holistic approach that includes curriculum development, teacher training, and infrastructure changes. The study noted the importance of encouraging students to become not only competent users of technology but also ethical and responsible digital citizens. In addition, it was found that administrative support, collaboration among teachers, and partnerships with parents and communities play an important role in strengthening the implementation of digital intelligence in the curriculum. The conclusion of the study underscores the need for dynamic adaptation of the curriculum to maintain relevance with the ever-changing technological developments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi manajemen sumber daya manusia (MSDM) berbasis kompetensi dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru di SMP Negeri 1 Manisrenggo. Profesionalisme guru menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, sehingga diperlukan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang efektif, terarah, dan berbasis kompetensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus untuk memperoleh pemahaman mendalam mengenai pelaksanaan MSDM berbasis kompetensi di lingkungan sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, dan tenaga kependidikan sebagai informan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi MSDM berbasis kompetensi dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu perencanaan kebutuhan guru, rekrutmen dan seleksi berbasis kompetensi, pelatihan dan pengembangan profesional, serta evaluasi kinerja yang disesuaikan dengan standar kompetensi guru. Penerapan strategi tersebut memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan profesionalisme guru, yang terlihat dari meningkatnya kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian guru dalam proses pembelajaran maupun interaksi di lingkungan sekolah. Selain itu, guru menjadi lebih adaptif terhadap perubahan kurikulum dan perkembangan teknologi pendidikan. Namun demikian, implementasi MSDM berbasis kompetensi masih menghadapi beberapa kendala, seperti keterbatasan waktu pelatihan, minimnya sarana pendukung, serta kesiapan sebagian guru dalam beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi dan tuntutan pembelajaran modern. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penguatan program pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan, peningkatan fasilitas pendukung, serta dukungan kebijakan yang memadai agar implementasi MSDM berbasis kompetensi dapat berjalan lebih optimal dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the integration of Islamic values, including akhlakul karimah, at-tasamuh, ar-rahmah, and al-adl, in learning as an effort to prevent bullying among junior high school students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at Muhammadiyah Imam Syuhodo Polokarto Junior High School. The research subjects consisted of the principal, Islamic religious education teachers, guidance counselors, homeroom teachers, and eighth-grade students. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used an interactive analysis model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the phenomenon of bullying among students generally occurs in the forms of verbal and physical bullying triggered by excessive joking, peer pressure, and lack of emotional control. The integration of Islamic values in learning is carried out through the habituation of Islamic behavior, strengthening moral values in learning materials, and character-building activities at school. The implementation of the values of akhlakul karimah (good character), at-tasamuh (tolerance), ar-rahmah (mercy), and al-adl (justice) has been proven to shape students’ character to become more tolerant, empathetic, and respectful of others, thereby reducing the potential for bullying. This research demonstrates that integrating Islamic values into learning can be an effective character education strategy in creating a safe and conducive school environment.
