Abstract

Keberadaan dayah sebagai lembaga pendidikan, baik yang masih menganut sistem pendidikan tradisional maupun yang modern, memiliki pengaruh besar dalam kehidupan masyarakat Aceh dan Indonesia. Dari waktu ke waktu dayah semakin tumbuh dan berkembang baik kualiti maupun kuantitinya. Tidak sedikit dari masyarakat yang masih menaruh perhatian besar terhadap dayah sebagai pendidikan alternatif. Pendidikan merupakan sebuah kebutuhan manusia dalam kehidupan. Keluarga berperan sebagai pusat pendidikan yang pertama. Perhatian dan motivasi orang tua sangat bermanfaat bagi berlangsungnya kegiatan belajar anak. Anak akan terdorong untuk lebih semangat dalam belajar. Disinilah pengaruh orang tua diperlukan dalam dunia belajar, khususnya dalam belajar ilmu agama. Salah satu lembaga keagamaan yang dapat memberikan pendidikan dan pengajaran ilmu agama Islam adalah dayah. Kehadiran dayah juga telah memberikan sumbangan nyata dalam pembentukan pribadi anak. Hal tersebut membuat sebagian besar para orang tua di masyarakat Aceh Singkil Khususnya Kecamatan Gunung Meriah memilih lembaga dayah sebagai lembaga pendidikan bagi anak-anaknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali dan mengetahui faktor apa saja yang mendorong orang tua di Gunung Meriah mempercayai anaknya ke dayah. Metode yang digunakan oleh penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan penelitian lapangan (Field Research). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa: 1) Peran orang tua dalam pembentukan Akhlak yang mulia pada anak sangat memberi pengaruh besar, hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari kepercayaan orang tua terhadap eksistensi dayah dalam membentuk karakter yang mulia, menciptakan generasi yang religius, dan menjadikan pendidikan dayah sebagai pilihan terbaik untuk masa depan anak. 2) Faktor yang mendorong orang tua di Kecamatan Gunung Meriah Kabupaten Aceh Singkil memasukkan anaknya ke dayah adalah faktor agama, lingkungan, kualitas dan ekonomi. Akan tetapi, faktor agama merupakan faktor yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap motivasi orang tua dalam memasukkan anaknya ke dayah (;).

Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate how to implement character education in elementary schools using an ecological approach. The approach applied is qualitative research. Data was obtained from observation, interviews and document research. Research finds that the best way to implement character education is to create a conducive school environment, integrate character values in learning, involve parents and the community, utilize the natural environment, and develop character-based extracurricular programs. By considering the relationship between students and the surrounding environment, the implementation of character education in elementary schools can be effective through an ecological approach. The results of the study show that the implementation of character education using an ecological approach in elementary schools provides a comprehensive and contextual framework. This method allows schools to create a comprehensive learning environment, where characters are not only taught in theory but also practiced in various everyday situations by students.

Abstract

Dalam ilmu filsafat ada tiga cabang ilmu yang membahas berbagai aspek dasar pengetahuan manusia, yaitu; Ontologi, Epistemologi, dan Aksiologi. Ontologi ialah mempelajari realitas dan keberadaan. Epistemologi ialah mempelajarai tentang sumber, sifat, serta batasan pengetahuan. Aksiologi ialah mempelajari tentang nilai, moral, estetika, dan sosial. Dalam  kajian epistimologi ada 3 sumber dalam pengungkapan dalil, yaitu bayani dengan pengungkapan dalil menggunakan teks dari nas maupun selain nas. Burhani yaitu pengungkapan dalil menggunakan logika atau akal. Irfani pengungkapan dalil menggunakan nurani atau hati. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan. Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif, dengan tulisan yang mengarah pada pembahasan artikel ini. Hasil dari penulisan ini bahwa Epistemologi Bayani merujuk pada pendekatan pengetahuan yang berbasis pada wahyu dan teks-teks agama. Dalam epistemologi ini, pengetahuan dianggap sah dan benar jika berasal dari sumber agama yang diakui. Penafsiran terhadap teks-teks ini dilakukan secara literal dan mengacu pada ajaran tradisional yang sudah mapan dalam dunia Islam. Epistemologi Burhani berfokus pada pengetahuan yang diperoleh melalui akal dan rasio. Pendekatan ini menekankan pentingnya penalaran logis dan argumentasi rasional untuk membuktikan kebenaran, dan tidak bergantung pada wahyu atau tradisi. Epistemologi Burhani mendorong pemikiran kritis dan terbuka, serta mengintegrasikan ilmu pengetahuan dengan keyakinan, melalui rasional dan progresif.

Abstract

Educators should choose a learning model that can generate students’ enthusiasm for learning and develop their potential so that they are able to solve the problems faced in life. Problem Based Learning is one of  learning models that is considered can maximize the students’ potential and guide them to have the ability to solve problems in life. Problem Based Learning (PBL) is based on constructivism and accommodates students' involvement in the learning process and problem solving. To apply PBL in the learning process, there are several principles and procedures that must be understood by educators. To implement PBL in the learning process, educators should follow the procedures or implementation stages. The procedure for implementing PBL is divided into several steps, namely: problem orientation, organizing students to study (in groups), investigation or data collection, developing and presenting work results and finally; evaluation and reflection. This PBL model certainly has advantages and disadvantages, so educators should study all things related to this PBL to maximize results and minimize deficiencies, educators should adhere to the principles and procedures for implementing them in the learning process because PBL is one of the learning models that is capable to answer the needs of students and be relevant to the demands of this century.

Abstract

The future-saving science paradigm from an Islamic perspective offers a holistic and ethical approach in dealing with global challenges such as climate change, resource shortages, and social inequality. This research aims to integrate scientific principles with Islamic teachings that emphasize balance, sustainability, and justice. The method used is literature analysis with a qualitative approach to explore Islamic principles in science and technology. Data collection techniques through the use of document study method, which involves analyzing documents relevant to the topic under study. The results of the study provide an explanation that Islamic teachings that prioritize tawhid (oneness of God), khilafah (stewardship of the earth), and maslahah (public good) can be the basis for the development of science that is oriented towards environmental sustainability and human welfare. This new paradigm should focus on multidisciplinary integration, ethics and community engagement in order to create sustainable and relevant solutions. The importance of interdisciplinary collaboration will help generate more comprehensive innovations in solving interrelated problems. Thus, this science paradigm transformation is not only essential for the preservation of the earth, but also for creating a just and harmonious future in accordance with Islamic values. The proposed science paradigm is not only based on rationality but also spirituality, creating a model of science that is more just, harmonious, and in line with Islamic values for the sustainability of the earth and human welfare.

Abstract

Tulisan ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui dan menggambarkan pelaksanaan pembelajaran pendidikan Agama Islam dengan metode hypnoteaching. Hypnoteaching adalah sebuah keahlian memahami peran pikiran sadar dan pikiran bawah sadar peserta didik yang dikemas dalam penyampaian pesan yang diucapkan atau diberikan pendidik kepada peserta didik agar tujuan pembelajaran tercapai. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif studi pustaka dengan data diperoleh dengan cara dikumpulkan melalui berbagai macam sumber pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode hypnoteaching dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam sangat sesuai untuk digunakan dalam memberikan materi-materi yang bersifat keimanan atau tauhid dan akhlaq. Abstract

This study aims to examine the Model of Student Character Education in Elementary Schools and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Banda Aceh City. The type of research used is field research, a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method. The research location is two Elementary Schools (SD) and two Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations and documentation studies. The theories used are Thomas Lickona's character education theory, Ratna Megawangi 's PHBK (Character-Based Holistic Education) character education theory and Imam Al-Ghazali's character education theory. The results of the study found that first, the planning of student character education in Elementary Schools and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Banda Aceh City was carried out through preparation of learning programs, preparation and development of learning methods, development of teaching materials, determining learning media and developing assessment systems, preparation of learning rosters and learning schedules. Second; the implementation of student character education in Elementary Schools and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Banda Aceh City is carried out through intracurricular, co-curricular and extracurricular components. Third; the implications and models of student character education in Elementary Schools and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Banda Aceh City gain a comprehensive understanding and experience of religious values, discipline values, independent values and responsibility values in school life, family and society. The novelty findings of this study are that the character education model in Elementary Schools and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Banda Aceh City is based on role models or uswah hasanah.

Abstract

This article analyzes the foundational framework of Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas's educational thought as a critical response to contemporary Islamic education's epistemological and moral crises. Al-Attas highlights the centrality of ta’dib as the essence of Islamic education, encompassing the internalization of Islamic values and ethics to shape individuals with adab and wisdom. His concept of the Islamization of knowledge serves as a strategic approach to filter Western secular influences in educational paradigms. This study employs a qualitative-conceptual approach through literature analysis of Al-Attas’s major works. The findings reveal that Al-Attas's thought is highly relevant for reconstructing a holistic, value-oriented, and spiritually grounded Islamic education system. This article contributes to developing an authentic and contextual philosophy of Islamic education amid the challenges of globalization.

Abstract

This article explores the significance of addressing mental health from an Islamic standpoint as a means to attain psychological well-being. In Islam, maintaining mental health is advocated through fostering a connection with Allah SWT, attaining life balance, seeking support from others, practicing Islamic values in daily life, and refraining from factors that may impact mental well-being. The article delves into the positive correlation between good mental health and enhanced happiness and productivity in one's daily life. Employing qualitative research methods with a narrative approach, data is gathered from diverse sources such as books, journals, and credible references. The collected data is subsequently analyzed and interpreted to fulfill the research objectives, shedding light on how focusing on mental health aspects can enhance an individual's quality of life and foster psychological well-being. Consequently, this article presents an overview of Islamic approaches to addressing mental health as an alternative pathway to achieving psychological well-being. By nurturing a relationship with Allah SWT, maintaining life balance, seeking social support, integrating Islamic values into daily life, and avoiding detrimental influences, individuals can effectively care for their mental health. This holistic framework, encompassing both spiritual and social dimensions, reflects the realization of Islamic teachings in promoting mental well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of blended learning as an alternative development of technology-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning model. In the context of increasingly digitized education, blended learning combines face-to-face learning with online learning, allowing students to learn flexibly anywhere and anytime. From the analysis of various sources, it is concluded that blended learning is an effective method to improve the quality of technology-based Islamic Education learning. This study aims to analyze the implementation of blended learning as an alternative learning model development for technology-based Islamic Education (PAI). In the context of evolving education, blended learning is a relevant alternative learning model to increase the effectiveness and flexibility of learning. The research method used islibrary research with a qualitative approach, which involves analyzing various literature sources, including articles, journals, and related books. The results show that the application of blended learning in Islamic education learning has a positive impact on student learning outcomes. This model allows a combination of face-to-face learning and online learning, so that students can access materials more widely and interactively. The research also identified several factors supporting the success of blended learning.
