Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the development of E-Learning-based IPS learning media for Class VII Semester II SMP. This research was a Research and Development. This research was conducte at SMPN 1 Mandau, Bengkalis Regency. The type of data collected in this study was qualitative data obtained from interviews, observations and expert validity. The assessment of students was carried out through a questionnaire. The object of research in this study was E-Learning-based IPS Learning Media for Class VII Semester II Junior High School using Chamilo 2019 software. The data analysis used qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive statistical analysis. The qualitative descriptive analysis technique was used to process data from the test results from media experts and material experts, while quantitative descriptive statistical analysis techniques were used for media assessment by 30 students with the help of SPSS. The results of the study state that e-learning-based social studies learning media are declared valid by media experts and material experts, with a practical level of media use that is practical or easy to use and the effectiveness of appropriate media in learning activities, which can save time and facilitate the preparation of teaching materials.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors which affect the interests of majors in Madrasah Aliyah in Pekanbaru City. Total population of 1225 students with samples as many as 302 students obtained pro proportionately random sampling. Data collection using questionnaires and documentation. Then the data were analyzed descriptively and analyzed by Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results showed: (1) Parents' attention has a direct and significant effect on the interest in choosing a major, meaning that the greater the attention of parents, the higher the student's interest in choosing a major. (2) Parent’s attention and ideals not directly affect academic ability, and academic ability does not affect the interest of majors. it means that the size of the parents' attention and the student's aspirations does not affect the student's academic ability and interest in the chosen major. (3) Ambition job directly affects the interest to choose a major, which means that the level of ambition will be in line with how much desire and interest in the majors since according to their interests. This shows that interest in choosing a major can increase along with increasing parental attention and student ambitions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the quality of education services on perceptions of education costs and student confidence and their impact on student satisfaction at SMA Negeri Ujungbatu. The population of this research is the students of Class XI SMA Negeri Ujungbatu as many as 475 students. The study was conducted with a sample of 217 students taken by simple random sampling technique. Data was collected using a questionnaire. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive quantitative and path analysis. The results showed that there was an influence between the quality of education services on perceptions of education costs and student confidence and the impact on student satisfaction at SMA Negeri Ujungbatu. The meaning is that the better the quality of educational services provided by the school and the more positive students perceive the cost of education, the more students will believe in the education in the school, it will increase the satisfaction felt by students

Abstract

Vocational High School is one of the institutions that prepare the workforce, Students from Vocational High School should have good work readiness to work immediately. However, based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Indonesia has the highest open unemployment rate for SMK graduates compared to other levels of education. This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence, industrial work practices, soft skills, and self-efficacy on students' work readiness. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The research subjects were class XII students majoring in Accounting at SMKN 1 and SMKN 6 Pekanbaru City. The population in this study totalled 233 students and a sample of 147 students. The sampling technique used is Proportional Random Sampling. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression equations with the help of SPSS. The results showed that work readiness as a variable (Y) was simultaneously influenced by emotional intelligence (X1), industrial work practices (X2), soft skills (X3) and self-efficacy (X4) in Pekanbaru City Vocational High School students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop educational materials based on financial literacy through educational games to enhance high school students' understanding of financial literacy. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4-D model by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel, this research involves the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The study was conducted at SMAN 9 Pekanbaru with subjects being tenth-grade students. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and tests, and analyzed using descriptive techniques, t-tests, and N-Gain to measure the effectiveness of the instructional materials. Validation results indicated that the instructional materials had an overall average of 94.44%, categorized as highly valid. Field trials showed the practicality of the instructional materials with average responses from teachers at 95.56%, from students at 88.22%, and from observations at 88,63%. N-Gain test results showed that students' understanding increased with an average N-Gain score of 0.6594, which falls into the "moderate" category. The effectiveness of using financial literacy instructional materials based on educational games reached 65.94%, categorized as "moderately effective". Thus, these instructional materials are proven to be moderately effective in improving students' financial literacy understanding regarding banking and non-banking financial institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh inovasi produk dan e-commerce terhadap daya siang UMKM konveksi di kecamatan Tuah Madani. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan populasi responden sebanyak 32 pelaku usaha konveksi di Kecamatan Tuah Madani serta sampel diambil dari seluruh total populasi. Instrument pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah angket yang berbentuk daftar pertanyaan dengan menggunakan skala likert. Untuk variable independen pada penelitian ini adalah inovasi produk dan e-commerce, teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa inovasi produk dan e-commerce secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap daya saing UMKM konveksi hal ini berdasarkan hasil analisis, perhitungan menujukkan nilai F hitung F tabel (26.6733.33). Sedangkan secara parsial inovasi produk dan e-commerce berpengaruh terhadap daya saing UMKM konveksi, hal ini berdasarkan dengan hasil uji t variable inovasi produk diperoleh nilai thitung 2.985 dengan nilai ttabel 2.045. Dan e-commerce memperoleh nilai thitung 2.782 dengan nilai ttabel 2.045.  Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa inovasi produk dan e-commerce berpengaruh terhadap daya saing UMKM konveksi di Kecamatan Tuah Madani dengan proporsi pengaruh sebesar 62,4% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 37,6% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar siswa merupakan salah satu hal penting dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran yang efektif. Oleh karena itu guru harus mempertimbangkan media pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Untuk merancang pembelajaran yang membangkitkan motivasi belajar dengan menggunakan teknologi berbantuan artificial intelligence sebagai media pembelajaran. Media teknologi berbantuan artificial intelligence belum banyak digunakan sehingga menarik untuk dikaji. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dampak artificial intelligence terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran akuntansi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian: penggunaan artificial intelligence sebagai media pembelajaran berdampak positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran akuntansi.

Abstract

This research aims to produce interactive multimedia using Lectora inspire in learning economic using the 4D development model. This work employed a qualitative descriptive method. Interactive multimedia was produced through three stages: definition, design, and development. This research was limited to the development stage. Definition stage comprised the preliminary analysis, curriculum analysis, material analysis, characteristic analysis, and formulation. Meanwhile, the design stage included pre-production from flowchart and storyboard making, media production to final activities: mixing, editing, and finalization. The development stage encompassed the following: (1) Expert appraisal, which was expert validation and revision with a result of very appropriate based on validation of media expert, material expert and language expert, and (2) Developmental testing, consisting of a small-scale tryout with a score of 81.98% (very appropriate). Our proposed system was very appropriate, according to the result of validation by an expert in a small scale try-out; thus it can be used in economic learning at SMA Darma Yudha.

Abstract

Financial behavior is an action that aids individuals in managing their finances effectively. This study aims to analyze the impact of financial attitudes and peer influence on financial behavior, with financial literacy as a mediating factor among students. Conducted from February to June 2023 in the Economics Education Study Program at Universitas Riau, this research collected data through questionnaires and documentation. A total of 115 students participated, selected using a saturated sampling  technique (census). Participants included undergraduate students in the 2020 class from Accounting, Cooperatives, and SMEs courses. Data analysis utilized Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on variance, specifically Partial Least Square (PLS), with SmartPLS 4.0 software, and an independent T-test on SPSS to assess gender differences in peer influence. The results indicated that financial attitudes and peer influence affect financial behavior through financial literacy. Furthermore, gender differences were observed in financial behavior, influencing decision-making. Therefore, students are encouraged to develop positive financial attitudes and surround themselves with financially knowledgeable peers to enhance their financial decision-making skills.
