Abstract

This research discusses a parametric model with a luz(...) projection function for an outer bypass Magnetorheological (MR) damper with a meandering type valve and its application in an open-loop force tracking control system. This parametric model with the luz(…) projection function has been developed previously. The MR damper force can be controlled with open-loop force as a standard control strategy. Research on the performance of the MR damper model in open-loop control systems usually uses non-parametric models. Thus, the novelty of this research is that it uses a parametric model, i.e., the model of the luz(...) projection function as the model of the outer bypass MR damper with a meandering type valve. The proposed open-loop control system uses an inverse model that produces an electric current according to the desired force. The force tracking control scheme was realized with computer simulations using a state space approach. These simulation results show that the model with the luz(…) projection function can efficiently and accurately track the desired force in an open-loop force-tracking control system. The desired force is sinusoidal, square, and sawtooth waveform. Relative Error (RE) of 0.000, 0.0123, and 0.0563, respectively, are achieved.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenurunan performa baterai terjadi akibat siklus pengisian dan pengosongan berulang yang melebihi batas, mempercepat degradasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan akurasi estimasi State of Charge (SOC) baterai menggunakan Artificial Neural Network (ANN) dengan algoritma Elman Backpropagation. Metode digunakan karena menambahkan lapisan context neuron yang mampu menangkap pola dinamis pada data baterai. Pengujian dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil estimasi SOC dari metode ini dengan metode Coulomb Counting. SOC baterai diestimasi dari 100% hingga 60%, dan hasil menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Coulomb Counting awalnya memberikan SOC lebih tinggi, estimasi dari kedua metode menjadi lebih mirip seiring waktu. Error estimasi berkisar antara 0,1% hingga 14,7%. Algoritma Elman Backpropagation terbukti mampu memberikan estimasi SOC yang lebih akurat, namun masih memerlukan kalibrasi lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan presisi.Kata kunci: Artificial Neural Network, Baterai, Coulumb Counting, Elman Backpropagation, State of Charge. ABSTRACTThe decline in battery performance occurs due to repeated charge and discharge cycles that exceed limits, accelerating degradation. This study aimed to improve the accuracy of State of Charge (SOC) estimation using an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) with the Elman Backpropagation algorithm. The method used was unique in adding a context neuron layer capable of capturing dynamic patterns in battery data. Testing was conducted by comparing SOC estimates from this method with the Coulomb Counting method. The battery's SOC was estimated from 100% to 60%, and the results showed that although Coulomb Counting initially provided higher SOC estimates, the estimates from both methods became more similar over time. Estimation errors ranged from 0.1% to 14.7%. The Elman Backpropagation algorithm proved to provide more accurate SOC estimates, although further calibration is needed to improve precision.Keywords: Artificial Neural Network, Battery, Coulumb Counting, Elman Backpropagation, State of Charge.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenggunaan panel surya sebagai sumber energi terbarukan membutuhkan baterai sebagai tempat penyimpanan energi. Penggunaan baterai secara terus menerus, dapat menyebabkan pengurangan kapasitas dan penurunan performa. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, diperlukan sistem estimasi nilai State of Charge (SOC) pada baterai yang berfungsi untuk mengontrol kondisi charge, agar performa baterai tetap optimal. Pada penelitian dikembangan suatu sistem estimasi SOC pada baterai jenis lead acid, dengan metode algoritma Elman Recurrent Neural Network (ERNN). Keunggulan yang terkait dengan metode ERNN meliputi proses iterasi menjadi lebih cepat, peningkatan kecepatan pembaruan parameter, dan pencapaian konvergensi yang lebih cepat. Hasil dari penelitian estimasi SOC pada baterai lead acid 12V, 12Ah dengan menggunakan algoritma ERNN sebesar 0.101% sedangkan dengan algoritma Feedforward Backpropagation sebesar 0.767%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa algoritma ERNN lebih efisien dalam mengestimasi nilai SOC pada baterai lead acid.Kata kunci: Baterai, Elman Recurrent Neural Network, Panel Surya, State of Charge; Lead Acid ABSTRACTUsing solar panels as a renewable energy source requires batteries as energy storage. Continuous use of batteries can result in reduced capacity and performance degradation. Based on these problems, a State of Charge (SOC) estimation system is needed for the battery to control charge conditions so that battery performance remains optimal. In this research, a SOC estimation system was developed for lead acid battery using the Elman Recurrent Neural Network (ERNN) algorithm. The advantage of the ERNN method is that the iteration process is faster, the parameter update speed is increased, and convergence is faster. The results of the SOC estimation for a 12V, 12Ah lead acid battery using the ERNN algorithm were 0.101%, while the Feedforward Backpropagation algorithm resulted in 0.767%. The ERNN algorithm is more efficient in estimating the SOC value of a lead acid battery.Keywords: Battery, Elman Recurrent Neural Network, Solar Panel, State of Charge, Lead Acid

Abstract

Apomecyna saltator, a notorious pest of honey pumpkin plants, poses a significant threat to both vegetative and generative phases, leading to considerable production losses. Despite its agricultural impact, there are limited studies on effective management strategies for this pest. This research investigates the effect of combined phosphorus and potassium fertilization on controlling A. saltator infestations in honey pumpkin plants. The study was conducted at the Teaching and Research Farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, Jambi University. A randomized block design with five treatments and five replications was used, testing different combinations of SP-36 phosphorus and potassium chloride (KCl) fertilizers: no fertilization (p0), SP-36 0.67 g/plant + KCl 1.25 g/plant (p1), SP-36 1.00 g/plant + KCl 1.88 g/plant (p2), SP-36 1.34 g/plant + KCl 2.51 g/plant (p3), and SP-36 1.67 g/plant + KCl 3.13 g/plant (p4). The variables observed included stem diameter, larval population, percentage of plant damage, number of attacked plant segments, fruit weight, and overall production. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results indicated that combining phosphorus and potassium fertilizers significantly increased stem diameter, fruit weight, and yield while reducing larval populations, plant damage, and affected segments. The study demonstrates that phosphorus and potassium strengthen honey pumpkin plants and negatively impact A. saltator infestations. This research highlights a novel approach to pest control, showing that targeted fertilization promotes plant health and suppresses the honey pumpkin stem borer (A. saltator). This dual benefit of nutrient application provides a sustainable and efficient pest management strategy, offering a fresh perspective on integrated crop protection.

Abstract

The challenge of understanding the meaning of Easter in the context of moderate religious life is significant in accommodating the plurality of beliefs. Easter symbolizes transformation, forgiveness, and hope for humanity. Understanding these symbols can be a meeting point between various religious beliefs in a moderate religious life. Through important activities such as PkM in helping teenagers (BP. PAR) and Christian youth (BP. PAM) at the GKI Hermon Hollo Him congregation integrate Easter values in daily life and become witnesses of Christ in society. Activities are carried out using lectures, discussions, and question-and-answer methods. Through PkM, BP. PAR and BP. PAM GKI Hermon Hollo Him managed to deepen their understanding of the meaning of Easter, broaden their horizons about moderate religious life, and strengthen the concept of inclusiveness in the congregation. This improves relationships with God and others and enriches their contribution to society with the values of love, tolerance, and inclusiveness.

Abstract

Considering the many human needs, the existence of solar energy is considered very appropriate to help meet the energy needs consumed by humans. All the energy produced by solar panels can be stored using batteries which can then be converted into electrical energy. The battery will work when the energy stored in the battery is fulfilled, but if the use of the battery is carried out continuously it causes the energy in the battery to run out, so that the battery energy must be recharged immediately so that it can still be used again. charging which is used to recharge battery energy at this time unfortunately it still takes quite a long time to be recharged. Through the description of the problem, so that in study this is a tool fast charging use buck converter by using the method (Constant Current) CC-CV (Constant Voltage) on a Lithium-Ion battery. Buck converter This is necessary because the source used in this study is a solar panel which produces a very high voltage, so the voltage needs to be lowered by using buck converter. Using a 11.1V / 2.2 Ah LithiumIon battery. To keep the current and voltage constant, the charging process is carried out charging this current and voltage the output will be stabilized by Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC). From the simulation results that have been carried out, it appears that the FLC has been able to stabilize the charging current of 2.2Ah and 11.1V.

Abstract

Menurut penelitian, pola asuh memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap gizi kurang pada anak. Berdasarkan Riskesdas 2018, di Nusa Tenggara Barat, kasus kurang gizi pada bayi di bawah dua tahun paling banyak ditemukan di Lombok Tengah (19,08%). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pola asuh dengan pola pemberian MP – ASI pada bayi KEP usia 6 – 11 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Puyung Lombok Tengah.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menerapkan desain cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian yaitu 27 orang ibu atau pengasuh bayi KEP usia 6 – 11 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Puyung Lombok Tengah yang dipilih dengan total sampling sehubungan dengan jumlah populasi yang relatif kecil. Pengambilan data melalui wawancara terstruktur dan observasi dengan instrumen kuesioner dan timbangan dacin, dilengkapi dengan data sekunder dari instansi terkait. Analisis data menggunakan uji independent chi-square dan deskriptif.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui 11,10% responden memiliki pola asuh berkategori baik, serta 11,10% responden memiliki pola pemberian MP – ASI yang sesuai. Terdapat hubungan signifikan secara statistik antara pola asuh dengan pola pemberian MP – ASI (p = 0,005). Mobilisasi dan sosialisasi lintas program dan lintas sektor dalam meningkatkan pola asuh dan pola pemberian MP – ASI secara khusus pada bayi KEP 6 – 11 bulan, serta secara umum pada balita perlu ditingkatkan.Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang bermakna antara pola asuh dengan pola pemberian MP – ASI, artinya terdapat perbedaan pola pemberian MP – ASI pada bayi KEP usia 6 – 11 bulan yang disebabkan perbedaan pola asuh. Abstract

To relate the control limits of Shewhart-type chart to the p-value, the control charting techniques were constructed based on statistical inference scheme. However, in daily practice of complex process variability (CPV) monitoring operation, these limits have nothing to do with the p-value. We cannot put any number to p. Instead, p is just read as “most probably”. These words mean that in practice we are finally working under data analysis scheme instead. For this reason, in this paper we introduce the application of STATIS in CPV monitoring operation. It is a data analysis method to label the sample(s) where anomalous covariance structure occurs. This method is algebraic in nature and dominated by principal component analysis (PCA) principles. The relative position of a covariance matrix among others is visually presented along the first two eigenvalues of the so-called “scalar product matrix among covariance matrices”. Its strength will be illustrated by using a real industrial example and the results, compared with those given by the current methods, are very promising. Additionally, root causes analysis is also provided. However, since STATIS is a PCA-like, it does not provide any control chart, i.e., the history of process performance. It is to label the anomalous sample(s). To the knowledge of the authors, the application of STATIS in complex statistical process control is an unprecedented. Thus, it will enrich the literature of this field.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide training to students of SMK Yapdi Bandar Pulau on Installing a Linux Server Operating System based on CentOS 7. Submission of material is carried out theoretically and directly in practice in installing a Linux server operating system. Several important points were conveyed theoretically and practically in this activity, such as an explanation of a Linux-based server or network operating system. Then in practice, the participants were guided directly to perform the installation and basic configuration for this server operating system. Materials given to participants up to 90% of the knowledge about the Linux server operating system and how to install it. Based on the results of the discussions carried out in the form of question and answer discussions and direct practice, the understanding of the participants reached 92% for the level of understanding of the material provided.
