Abstract

Deteksi dini risiko kehamilan merupakan salah satu upaya dalam mendeteksi sekaligus menangani sejak dini risiko tinggi pada ibu hamil yang memiliki peluang peningkatan angka morbiditas dan mortalitas pada ibu hamil. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam melakukan deteksi risiko kehamilan yaitu dengan pemberian edukasi atau pendidikan kesehatan kepada ibu hamil dan keluarga tentang pengenalan tanda bahaya kehamilan dan faktor-faktor risiko kehamilan yang dapat dilakukan dengan metode brainstorming dan pemanfaatan teknologi dengan metode audiovisual. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa metode brainstorming dan metode audiovisual mampu meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pengertian, tujuan deteksi dini kehamilan  jadwal pemeriksaan kehamilan, tanda bahaya kehamilan, klasifikasi risiko kehamilan. Melalui kegiatan ini, para ibu hamil mampu mendeteksi secara mandiri risiko kehamilannya. Secara keseluruhan, program pemberdayaan ini memberikan kontribusi positif bagi peningkatan dan keterampilan ibu hamil sekaligus langkah awal dalam mewujudkan ibu hamil yang sehat.

Abstract

Cabai rawit (Capsicum frutescens) merupakan salah satu tanaman hortikultura yang terus mengalami peningkatan permintaan baik pada skala rumah tangga maupun industri. Seiring dengan peningkatan jumlah konsumsi tersebut, produksi cabai rawit yng berkualitas juga harus ditingkatkan. Untuk mengoptimalkan produksi cabai rawit, para petani juga membutuhkan benih yang bermutu. Salah satu teknik peningkatan mutu benih yang ditawarkan sebelum benih ditanam adalah dengan cara perendaman benih dengan penambahan PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh perendaman benih cabai rawit dengan penambahan PGPR terhadap viabilitas dan vigor benih. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial yang  terdiri atas 5 perlakuan dan  3 ulangan disetiap perlakuanya. Faktor yang diteliti yaitu lama perendaman benih dengan penambahan PGPR. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lama perendaman benih cabai rawit pada larutan PGPR asal akar bambu berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap keserempakan tumbuh, daya kecambah, kecepatan tumbuh dan vigor benih cabai rawit. Perlakuan perendaman terbaik dijumpai pada perlakukan P2 yaitu perendaman selama 5 jam

Abstract

The lack of improvement in student learning outcomes is still a problem, so this research was carried out. For this reason, a solution is needed in the form of a learning strategy to help solve this problem, namely implementing a wordwall-based digital learning model. The aim of this research is to describe teacher and student activities using wordwall-based digital learning games and to describe how student learning outcomes in social studies lessons can be improved through the use of wordwall-based digital learning games. This research uses the stages of classroom action research, namely research consisting of two cycles, where one cycle consists of four implementation stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The focus of the research is the use of wordwall-based digital learning games and social studies learning outcomes. The subjects in this research were 25 class VI students (two recovered), consisting of 13 male students and 12 female students. Data is obtained through observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include the selection stage, the presentation stage, and the conclusion stage. The results of the research showed that there was a significant increase in teacher activity and student activity in cycle I (60.42%) with medium criteria and in cycle II (93.75%) with high criteria, as well as social studies learning outcomes in cycle I (70,00) with medium criteria and in cycle II (81.34) with high criteria. Thus, using wordwall-based digital learning games can improve social studies learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pan traps is a popular technique for determining the diversity of pollinating insects in different settings. These traps are effective for field use and can quickly produce sample data because they are simple to operate and don't require any specific equipment to be deployed. Pan traps, however, also catch a variety of non-pollinator insects in addition to pollinating insects. In this study, the Pan traps methods were used in three different habitat types: rice-field, Acacia agroforestry and secondary forest on reclaimed coal mining site. Fourteen members of the Formicidae family with 11 species, 9 genera, 8 tribes, and 3 subfamilies were found from all of the combined traps. The most common species, with four records, was Camponotus arrogans, which was regularly found in all types of habitat. With 9 species and 14 individuals, blue pan traps caught the greatest diversity of ant species, while yellow pan traps were the least successful with one species and one individual. Comprehending the variables that impact ant diversity and abundance in various habitat types, as well as their interactions with the environment, can yield significant insights on the quality of habitats and function as markers of environmental alterations. This information is essential for the management of habitats and conservation initiatives.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out with the aim of providing information to farmer groups regarding the benefits and uses as well as the application of Been Sae biofertilizer. In addition, other objectives are also one of the Tridharma activities for the writer. The stages of implementing this community service activity are a form of counseling about the technical application of Been Sae's biological fertilizer to rice plants (Oriza Sateva, L). to improve the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil in order to increase crop production and maintain the binding capacity of groundwater to nutrients while at the same time suppressing disturbing elements. This community service activity was carried out at the Farmer Group in the village of Mesjid Tuha Meurebo District. The exact time and method of fertilization must be known, including: The rules for using Been Sae fertilizer are by dissolving 10 ml of Been sae in 1 liter of water, stirring thoroughly, then placing it in a tube (spray tank/sprayer), spraying it on the soil or roots. For Hatchery; the seeds are soaked with Been sae solution as much as 3 ml/liter of water for 30 minutes, then aired to dry, after drying the seeds can be planted. Maintenance is carried out by spraying Been sae a week after planting with a dose of 2 liters/200 liters of water/Ha of soil, then spraying the plants and soil every 2/week, Beensae can be used as a decomposer mixture in making compost. The conclusion from this activity is that farmers know more about the benefits and uses of Been Sae biofertilizer.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi petani di Nagari Sungai Nanam berkaitan dengan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja yang disebabkan oleh rendahnya pengetahuan tentang bahaya pestisida, tidak adanya kebiasaan penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD), keterbatasan akses terhadap APD, serta belum adanya pelatihan penggunaan APD yang benar. Metode kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan yaitu edukasi partisipatif yang menggabungkan penyampaian informasi bahaya paparan pestisida dan dampaknya terhadap kesehatan, penyediaan APD, serta praktik langsung penggunaan APD oleh petani. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Edotel Cemara SMKN 1 Lembah Gumanti Kabupaten Solok Sumatera Barat terhadap 36 orang petani yang teridiri dari 20 anggota kelompok tani Gantiang Saiyo dan 16 orang petani mandiri. kegiatan dilaksanakan sebanyak 4 sesi, yaitu pre-test, penyampaian materi, pelatihan APD, dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa metode edukasi partisipatif yang diterapkan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan petani mengenai bahaya pestisida serta pentingnya penggunaan APD. Rata- rata skor pengetahuan peserta meningkat dari 97,17 sebelum diberikan edukasi menjadi 143,64 setelah kegiatan. Uji Wilcoxon menghasilkan nilai p=0,000 (p<0,05), yang menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan bermakna antara tingkat pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi

Abstract

Occupational safety and health (K3) is not only applied in industrial environments, but also plays an important role in disaster risk reduction efforts in the community. The low public understanding of K3 principles in dealing with disaster situations can increase the risk of accidents, injuries, and health problems. This community service activity aims to implement the K3 Disaster Care Program in improving public safety through an educational and participatory approach. Nanggalo District, Padang City is one of the areas affected by the current flash floods in West Sumatra. Flash floods can threaten public safety. The low public understanding and preparedness of the principles of occupational safety and health (K3) in disaster situations has the potential to increase the risk of injuries, accidents, and health problems. This community service activity aims to implement the K3 Disaster Care Program as an effort to improve the safety and preparedness of the Nanggalo District community in dealing with post-disaster conditions. The implementation method includes educational counseling on K3 and disasters, training in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe disclosure simulations, and assistance in implementing safe behavior based on K3. The target of the activity is the general public, environmental cadres, and local volunteers. The results of the activity show an increase in public knowledge and awareness regarding the importance of implementing K3 principles in disaster mitigation and management, as well as increasing community skills in carrying out safe rescue and socialization actions. The implementation of the K3 Disaster Care Program is expected to be able to reduce the risk of accidents and health impacts due to disasters, as well as support the realization of a resilient and disaster-prepared community in Nanggalo District, Padang City. Abstrak Keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) tidak hanya diterapkan di lingkungan industri, tetapi juga memiliki peran penting dalam upaya pengurangan risiko bencana di masyarakat. Rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap prinsip K3 dalam menghadapi situasi bencana dapat meningkatkan risiko kecelakaan, cedera, dan gangguan kesehatan.  Kecamatan Nanggalo, Kota Padang merupakan salah satu wilayah yang terdampak banjir bandang yang terjadi saat ini di Sumatera Barat. Banjir Bandang dapat mengancam keselamatan masyarakat. Rendahnya pemahaman dan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat terhadap prinsip K3 dalam situasi bencana berpotensi meningkatkan risiko cedera, kecelakaan, dan gangguan kesehatan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan Program K3 Peduli Bencana sebagai upaya meningkatkan keselamatan dan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat Kecamatan Nanggalo dalam menghadapi kondisi pasca bencana. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi penyuluhan edukatif mengenai K3 dan kebencanaan, pelatihan penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD), simulasi evakuasi aman, serta pendampingan penerapan perilaku aman berbasis K3. Sasaran kegiatan adalah masyarakat umum, kader lingkungan, dan relawan setempat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat terkait pentingnya penerapan prinsip K3 dalam mitigasi dan penanggulangan bencana, serta peningkatan keterampilan masyarakat dalam melakukan tindakan keselamatan dan evakuasi yang aman . Implementasi Program K3 Peduli Bencana ini diharapkan mampu menurunkan risiko kecelakaan dan dampak kesehatan akibat bencana, serta mendukung terwujudnya masyarakat yang tangguh dan siaga bencana di Kecamatan Nanggalo, Kota Padang.
