Abstract

CTS is arranged in outer muscle problems. This infection is brought about by pressure of the middle nerve at the wrist. Occupational factors are work- related risk factors, such as working quickly, repetitive movements, work stress, work that uses a lot of wrists and vibrations. The motivation behind this study is to decide the impact of word related elements to CTS frequency on regulatory specialists. This study uses cross sectional design with 35 respondents as sample. To determine hand posture was carried out by observation and interpretation with RULA, measurement of repetitive motion use a stopwatch, and work stress use Stress Diagnosis Survey. Utilize the Phalen's Test and the Boston Carpal Tunnel Questionnaire to determine the incidence of CTS. The aftereffect of prescreening on managerial specialists uncovered that 40% laborers are positive for CTS. While the analysis uses binary logistic regression to determine the influence of occupational factors to CTS incident. Variables that influence CTS are repetitive motion of using mouse (p=0.005), repetitive motion of typing (p=0.027), and work stress (p=0.027). Therefore, it is necessary to give recommendations based on related variables (repetitive motion and work stress) in order to minimize the occurrence of CTS.

Abstract

Perusahaan Jasa Petikemas bergerak menjalankan bisnisnya sebagai penyedia fasilitas dan layanan terkait petikemas. Pesawat angkat menjadi suatu fasilitas yang penting dalam aktivitas operasional dengan dijalankan oleh operator. Aktivitas kerja operator yang padat, waktu istirahat yang singkat, serta terdapat catatan kejadian kecelakaan yang melibatkan operator selama tahun 2022 menjadikan perlu dilakukan analisis pembebanan fisik yang dialami operator pesawat angkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh dari stres kerja dan lingkungan kerja fisik (kebisingan dan iklim kerja) terhadap beban kerja fisik. Metode perhitungan variabel beban kerja fisik menggunakan persentase cardiovascular load, variabel stres kerja menggunakan kuesioner stres kerja pada Peraturan Menteri Ketenagakerjaan Nomor 5 Tahun 2018, variabel kebisingan menggunakan Daily Noise Dose, dan iklim kerja menggunakan SNI 7061:2019. Metode pengujian pengaruh menggunakan uji regresi logistik ordinal. Hasil pengujian serentak menujukkan bahwa stres kerja, kebisingan, dan iklim kerja berpengaruh serentak terhadap beban kerja fisik dengan p-value (0,003) < 0,05. Hasil pengujian parsial menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing stres kerja dan kebisingan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap beban kerja fisik dengan stres kerja memiliki p-value (0,012) < 0,05 dan kebisingan memiliki p-value (0,012) < 0,05. Rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan berupa perbaikan pada kerusakan bagian trolley, perbaikan pada kerusakan komponen pintu dan jendela, memasang material soundproofing pada kabin operator, pelatihan, meningkatkan kualitas program K3, membentuk Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), penjadwalan pengecekan dan penggantian pelumas, penjadwalan maintenance rel trolley, pengadaan komponen ventilasi buatan, memasang pengumuman dan rambu-rambu APD, inspeksi APD, menjadwalkan pengadaan APD, melengkapi operator RTG dengan full body harness, memasang sabuk pengaman pada kursi operator, dan menyediakan ear plug.

Abstract

Parameter optimization is a technique used in the manufacturing process to create products with optimal quality. The research aims to find the optimal settings in the laser tube cutting machine so that the surface of the square pipe ST 37 becomes smoother and flatter. The settings to be changed are laser focal point, gas pressure, nozzle distance and laser power. This research uses Taguchi method with L9 (34) orthogonal matrix to analyze the experimental results. With each parameter having 3 levels according to the orthogonal matrix, the experiment was conducted 9 times with 3 replications to make the results more valid. In the research results obtained the most optimal combination of parameters on the laser tube cutting machine on the response of the cutting rate is with a combination of focus point parameters at level 1 of 0 mm, gas pressure at level 1 of 0.6 bar, and laser power parameters at level 1 of 1800 W.

Abstract

Quality Management is one of the activities of a foundry manufacturing company in order to develop and continue to manage the business processes in it. One of the VS casting products has a production period of 1 month from the injection moulding process to the machining stage using CNC lathe and milling. In quantity, many products have quality levels that are not up to standard. Based on data from the beginning of the year in February 2023, observations were made for 1 month to recap the production results in the finishing department of the machining section. It was recorded that there were 40% defective products out of a total of 686 pcs. After making improvements using the DMAIC method, the finished good machining target has increased to 52%. Coupled with the help of Minitab statistical software in calculating the sigma value from 2.09 can change to 2.2 with an initial DPMO of 275,520 down to 261,662. The calculation is also equipped with a cause analysis using the 4M + 1E factor and the implementation of improvements to each cause. The writing of this paper also provides advice on using form control to anticipate the loss of quality in VS products.

Abstract

East Java Province has abundant potential in the fisheries sector, both production factors and geographical conditions of the sea. The production factor of capture fisheries in East Java in 2017-2022 tends to increase but contributes little to the GRDP of East Java. The variables used in this study are the number of fishermen and GRDP of districts/cities in East Java. The study aims to analyze the effect of the number of fishermen on GRDP in East Java and analyze the differences in each subsector. The research used a saturated sample technique, with panel data regression as the analysis test. The study is divided into two models, namely model I (marine fisheries) and model II (inland public waters). The results showed that in both models the number of fishermen had a significant positive effect on GRDP. This is because the increasing number of fishermen will increase the catch of fish and the income earned. The increased income will contribute to the economic growth of a region or what is referred to as GRDP. Marine fishermen tend to have more numbers than inland public water fishermen because a larger area will require more labor.

Abstract

Central Java Province is one of the provinces that contribute to increasing the volume of fishery production in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors influence the ammount of production of marine capture fisheries subsector in Central Java Province. The sample used in this research was a saturated sample totaling 140 samples. Hypothesis testing is conducted using multiple linear regression analysis methods. The result the research on the marine capture fisheries subsector showed that partially the number of fishermen, boats and fishing gear did not affect the ammount of production. Furthermore, the number of fish consumption has a significant positive effect on total production. The lack of influence of the number of fishermen, boats and fishing gear can be influenced by the existence of government policies, the number of fish populatoins, the fishing season and technology used.

Abstract

Sebagai perusahaan yang memproduksi produk massal (mass production), PT. Indoprima GemilangEngineering perlu mereduksi waste. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pemborosanyang terjadi dengan menggunakan metode Value Stream Analysis Toolsserta memberikan usulanperbaikan terhadap proses produksi klip. Penelitian ini meliputi penggambaran big picturemapping, pembobotan wastedengan menyebarkan kuisioner, setelah didapat rata-rata dariperhitungan waste, dilakukan perhitungan VALSAT untuk mendapatkan tool yang nantinya dapatmengidentifikasi lebih detail wasteyang terjadi selama proses produksi, setelah itu wastedianalisamenggunakan fishbone diagram untuk selanjutnya dibuat usulan perbaikan.Dari hasil analisisProcess Activity Mapping, didapatkan presentase hasil aktivitas VA sebesar 51,54%, aktivitasNNVA sebesar 33,74%, aktivitas NVA sebesar 14,72%. Dari 23 aktivitas produksi, terdapat 21,74%aktivitas operation, 17,39% aktivitas transport, 39,13% aktivitas inspection, 4,347% aktivitasstoragedan 17,39% aktivitas delay. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan beberapa penyebabwasteantara lain seperti permintaan produk yang berubah-ubah, kurangnya ketersediaan box, setupmatras yang terlalu lama, ataupun masalah dalam perencanaan produksi. Usulan perbaikan yangdapat diberikan adalah seperti membuat penjadwalan dan perencanaan produksi yang tepat,melakukan monitoring terhadap proses produksi yang berjalan, mempersingkat waktu setting danjuga training untuk pekerja.

Abstract

Seiring bertambahnya permintaan produksi klip yang ada pada PT.Indoprima GemilangEngineering dan pihak perusahaan ingin semua proses berjalan berbanding lurus, antarapermintaan dengan proses produksi yang ada pada perusahaan. Karena pada kenyataannya prosesdilapangan selalu mengalami perbedaan dengan hasil peramalan produksi yang ada.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan keakuratan metode Autoregressive IntegratedMoving Average (ARIMA) dan Exponential Smoothing pada peramalan penjualan klip di PT.Indoprima Gemilang Engineering, sehingga perusahaan dapat melakukan prediksi untuk periodeselanjutnya dengan metode yang lebih akurat diantara kedua metode tersebut. Pada penelitian kaliini penulis melakukan peramalan untuk hasil 12 periode kedepan di tahun 2016, denganmenggunakan pengujian keakuratan nilai MSE yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing metode,perbandingan ini turut menggunakan aplikasi Minitab. Proses penelitian ini berfokus pada satusampel tipe klip, berdasarkan permintaan terbanyak. Dengan menginputkan 96 data bulanan yangdi peroleh dari tahun 2008 sampai dengan 2015 yang ada, untuk menghasilakan peramalan 12periode kedepan di tahun 2016.Setelah melakukan penelitian menggunakan software Minitab maka mendapatkan hasil metodeyang terbaik digunakan untuk peramalan adalah metode ARIMA dibandingkan dengan metodeExponential Smoothing, karena hasil MSE ARIMA lebih kecil sebesar 50983, sedangkan metodeExponential Smoothing sebesar 58476,8. Oleh karena itu metode ARIMA dapat dijadikan acuanmetode dalam membuat forecasting.

Abstract

In the past one year, the problem of critical defects is the most dominant problem. With a percentage of 46% of all problems. This study aims to determine the factors that cause the bottle to leak and to find an effort to reduce the level of leaky bottles in the blow molding department's bottle production process. The method used in this study is Six Sigma which includes five stages of analysis, namely DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control). The approach used to improve the process. Each stage of DMAIC is done by carefully analyzing and maintaining the process. The results of this study indicate that the factors causing leaky bottles analyzed with FTA are problematic valves, air settings are not normal, blow pins are not centered, loose switch limit bolts, no checking rules, new technicians, and no defective mouth product reference . While the effort that must be done is changing the valve, the central pressure is increased to 7.5-8 bar, setting the blow pin to the center, changing the limit switch bolt, making the rules at the beginning of shift shifts, holding regular training for technicians, and making leaky product references.

Abstract

Di jaman modern ini perkembangan terknologi semakin pesat membuat persaingan di dunia industri juga semakin ketat.Hal tersebut mengakibatkan industri plastik di Indonesia harus mampu meningkatkan produksinya, baik dalam hal kuantitas maupun kualitas produksinya.Mesin MKV 3 merupakan salah satu mesin extrusion blow molding yang digunakan untuk memproduksi botol Toner 200 ml. Proses produksi botol toner 200 ml ini membutuhkan waktu siklus selama± 22 detik dan menghasilkan 2885 botol per shift.Hal tersebut dinilai masih kurang karena kapasitas produksinya masih kurang memenuhi kapasitas yang diinginkan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan optimasi pada waktu siklus produksi botol toner 200 ml namun harus memperhatikan kualitas produknya, dalam hal ini adalah netto botol.Dalam penelitian ini variabel proses (parameter) yang diambil antara lain blowing pressure, blowing time dan stop time, sedangkan variabel respon yang dipilih pada penelitian ini adalah cycle time, netto. Metode analisa yang digunakan adalah Metoderespon surface. Metode analisa tersebut menghasilkan nilai variabel proses terhadap variabel respon yang optimal.Berdasrkan hasil penelitian didapat kesimpulan bahwa keadaan optimum dihasilkan pada kondisi blowing pressure sebesar 6.3535 bar; blowing time sebesar 12 detik; dan stop time 2 detik. Dari keadaan optimum tersebut cycle time yang dihasilkan yaitu 19.97 detik dan netto yang dihasilkan sesuai standar yaitu 22.02 gram.
