Abstract

For the running of a project, it is necessity to have project planning such as project schedule. PT Ometraco Arya Samanta is a company that engaged in steel structure. This company implement schedule planning based on tonnage. This method is considered suboptimal, since in its implementation has discrepancy of completion time between the schedule plan and the actual. To get an optimal schedule, it needs appropriate method. Construction project is a complex project and has uncertainty completion time. Project Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) and Fuzzy Logic Application for Scheduling (FLASH) could be used for projects with uncertain completion time and more emphasis on time estimation than cost. PERT and FLASH are using three estimation time, then obtained probability percentage of completion time. Nevertheless, PERT is only consider the completion time by the critical path, while FLASH is able to determine project time by the entire project activities. Thereby, the methods used in this article is FLASH. The analysis results of this case study as follows: the interval completion time with FLASH in the amount of 106 days for optimistic time, 237 days for pessimistic time, and 169 days for most likely time. By the duration target of 179 days, it is obtained 85,29%. Dalam pengerjaan suatu proyek diperlukan perencanaan proyek berupa penjadwalan proyek. PT Ometraco Arya Samanta merupakan perusahaan konstruksi baja. Perusahaan ini memanfaatkan penjadwalan berdasarkan tonase proyek. Metode tersebut dirasa belum optimal, sebab dalam pelaksanaannya sering kali terjadi ketidaksesuaian waktu penyelesaian proyek antara rencana dengan aktualnya. Untuk mendapatkan penjadwalan yang optimal, diperlukan metode yang tepat. Proyek konstruksi merupakan proyek yang kompleks dan memiliki durasi penyelesaian yang bersifat tidak pasti. Project Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) dan Fuzzy Logic Application for Scheduling (FLASH) dapat digunakan untuk proyek yang memiliki ketidakpastian waktu dan menekankan pada estimasi waktu daripada biaya. PERT dan FLASH menggunakan tiga estimasi waktu yang kemudian didapatkan persentase kemungkinan terselesaikannya proyek. Namun, PERT hanya memperhitungkan waktu penyelesaian proyek berdasarkan lintasan kritis, sedangkan FLASH dapat mempertimbangkan waktu proyek dari keseluruhan kegiatan proyek. Sehingga, metode yang digunakan di dalam artikel ini adalah FLASH. Hasil analisis dari penelitian ini didapatkan selang waktu penyelesaian proyek yaitu waktu paling cepat 106 hari, waktu paling lama 237 hari, dan waktu paling mungkin sebesar 169 hari. Dengan menggunakan waktu target 179 hari, didapatkan probabilitas sebesar 85,29% dari rentang waktu 169 hari hingga 237 hari.

Abstract

Bioring Cone Cup products are produced by Sukodono molding industry with injection molding machine. However, at the beginning of production in getting the parameter value still uses a trial and error system, so this problem results in defects that cause the weight of the product is not in accordance with the agreement so that this product must be recycled again by spending a long time. With this problem, the company suffered losses because it had to pay compensation for production delays. So that research is needed that discusses the optimization of injection molding parameters on the net response of bioring cone cup products. This research uses the parameters of injection pressure, injection temperature, and cooling time. The method used is taguchi with signal to noise ratio criteria, namely smaller is better to determine the effect of factors and also the optimal parameters for the production process. From the experimental results, the optimal combination of variables is obtained, namely the injection pressure parameter at level 1 with a value of 80 bar, injection temperature at level 3 with a value of 230 , and cooling time at level 3 with a value of 0.5 seconds. Produk Bioring Cone Cup diproduksi oleh industri molding Sukodono dengan mesin injection molding. Namun pada awal produksi dalam mendapatkan nilai parameter masih menggunakan sistem trial and error, sehingga permasalahan ini mengakibatkan adanya cacat yang menyebabkan berat produk tidak sesuai kesepakatan sehingga produk ini harus didaur ulang kembali dengan menghabiskan waktu yang cukup lama. Dengan permasalahan tersebut, perusahaan ini mengalami kerugian dikarenakan harus membayar kompensasi keterlambatan produksi. Sehingga dibutuhkan penelitian yang membahas optimalisasi parameter injection molding terhadap respon netto produk bioring cone cup. Penelitian ini menggunakan parameter injection pressure, injection temperature, dan cooling time. Metode yang digunakan adalah taguchi dengan kriteria rasio signal to noise yaitu smaller is better untuk mengetahui pengaruh factor dan juga parameter yang optimal untuk proses produksi. Dari hasil eksperimen, didapatkan hasil kombinasi variabel yang optimal yaitu parameter injection pressure pada level 1 dengan nilai 80 bar, injection temperature pada level 3 dengan nilai 230 , dan cooling time pada level 3 dengan nilai 0,5 detik.

Abstract

The development of Indonesia's industry is currently changing from commodity-based to manufacture-based. The manufacturing industry cannot be separated from the role of the packaging industry. So it is necessary to have Human Resources with good performance to be able to help achieve the goals and vision and mission of the company. Employee performance comes from two factors, namely individual factors and organizational environmental factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work stress and psychosocial factors consisting of job demands and work organization on employee performance in packaging companies through leadership quality. The method used is PLS-SEM with a sample of 75 people. The results showed that work stress had a significant effect on employee performance (p-value = 0.000), job demands and work organization had no significant effect on employee performance (p-value = 0.501 on job demands and p-value = 0.658 on work organization) , leadership quality has no significant effect on employee performance (p-value = 0.685), work stress has no significant effect on employee performance through leadership quality (p-value = 0.740), and job demands and work organization have no significant effect on employee performance through quality leadership (p-value=0.877 on job demands and p-value=0.725 on work organization). While the r-square value which shows the influence of work stress variables, job demands, work organization, and leadership quality on employee performance is 63.7%.

Abstract

Wirausaha Merdeka is a program initiated by the Republic of Indonesia's Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. This study is aimed at students who have an interest in the world of entrepreneurship. Shipbuilding Institute of Polytechnic Surabaya adopts the Project Based Learning Technopreneurship learning scheme. Through this program, 103 new businesses have been created in various fields of business. As new businesses, they are susceptible to failure due to several factors. The method of this study used a survey that has been conducted, there are 77.7% of tenants who do not continue their business after the program. This indicates a high rate of business failure among entrepreneurs. This research is conducted to identify the factors influencing business sustainability using the Structural Equation Modelling method. The variables used in this study are derived from the European Foundation for Quality Management Model 2020. The results of this study is that organizational culture and leadership, driving performance and transformation, as well as strategic and operational performance positively influence business sustainability. Purpose, vision and strategy, creating sustainable value, and stakeholder perception negatively influence business sustainability. Meanwhile, engaging stakeholders does not significantly affect business sustainability.

Abstract

Research aim : The purpose of this study is to present a solution in the form of a web-based system with the Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) method approach to provide convenience in the employee selection process at CV. Bee Digital Prestasi Nusantara. Design/Methode/Approach : The Multi Attribute Utility Theory method approach provides a solution in the form of recommendations for the final results of the selection process which is carried out by conducting an assessment through several alternatives and sub-alternatives multiplied by the weight that has been determined by the company. The method approach was divided into several stages: (1) Submissions and Tests (2) Calculation of Values, Criteria and Weights (3) Ranking. Research Finding: The application of the MAUT method can provide effective decisions on the recruitment of prospective employees accepted by the company. The experimental results from the research showed that using MAUT method is able to speed up the recruitment process and can quickly determine prospective employees who match the company's criteria compared to conventional methods. Theoretical contribution/Originality : This research result showed that theoretically, MAUT method supports the employee selection process Practitionel/Policy implication : The practical implication is that the attributes used in the selection process support the company in getting employees that match their needs Research limitation : This method has limitations, namely the range of values is still static. Abstract

Research aim: Analyzing the impact of the EFQM 2020 model on assessing business sustainability and business orientation categories of Wirausaha Merdeka tenants using Structural Equation Modeling and EFQM self-assessment. Method: The research uses quantitative data, the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) method, and EFQM self-assessment. Research Finding: The results of the SEM analysis reveal that organizational culture and leadership, driving performance and transformation, and strategic and operational performance positively influence business sustainability. On the other hand, purpose, vision, and strategy, creating sustainable value, and stakeholder perceptions negatively influence business sustainability. Additionally, engaging stakeholders does not influence business sustainability. Meanwhile, based on the EFQM self-assessment results, it is found that 5 tenants are product-oriented, 16 tenants are process-oriented, and 2 tenants are system-oriented. Theoretical contribution/Originality: This research extends the application of EFQM to more specifically measure the sustainability level of vocational tenant startups, mainly focusing on the specific dimensions of business sustainability. Practitioner/Policy implication: This study adopts the EFQM Model to assess the sustainability of vocational tenant businesses. This study will thoroughly analyze the scores obtained for each EFQM criterion and identify the critical factors contributing to business sustainability. The results of this evaluation will serve as a basis for formulating more targeted recommendations for improvement and development. Research limitation: The EFQM self-assessment focused solely on obtaining the business orientation category through questionnaire responses, lacking in-depth evaluation through interviews.

Abstract

CTS is arranged in outer muscle problems. This infection is brought about by pressure of the middle nerve at the wrist. Occupational factors are work- related risk factors, such as working quickly, repetitive movements, work stress, work that uses a lot of wrists and vibrations. The motivation behind this study is to decide the impact of word related elements to CTS frequency on regulatory specialists. This study uses cross sectional design with 35 respondents as sample. To determine hand posture was carried out by observation and interpretation with RULA, measurement of repetitive motion use a stopwatch, and work stress use Stress Diagnosis Survey. Utilize the Phalen's Test and the Boston Carpal Tunnel Questionnaire to determine the incidence of CTS. The aftereffect of prescreening on managerial specialists uncovered that 40% laborers are positive for CTS. While the analysis uses binary logistic regression to determine the influence of occupational factors to CTS incident. Variables that influence CTS are repetitive motion of using mouse (p=0.005), repetitive motion of typing (p=0.027), and work stress (p=0.027). Therefore, it is necessary to give recommendations based on related variables (repetitive motion and work stress) in order to minimize the occurrence of CTS.

Abstract

Perusahaan Jasa Petikemas bergerak menjalankan bisnisnya sebagai penyedia fasilitas dan layanan terkait petikemas. Pesawat angkat menjadi suatu fasilitas yang penting dalam aktivitas operasional dengan dijalankan oleh operator. Aktivitas kerja operator yang padat, waktu istirahat yang singkat, serta terdapat catatan kejadian kecelakaan yang melibatkan operator selama tahun 2022 menjadikan perlu dilakukan analisis pembebanan fisik yang dialami operator pesawat angkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh dari stres kerja dan lingkungan kerja fisik (kebisingan dan iklim kerja) terhadap beban kerja fisik. Metode perhitungan variabel beban kerja fisik menggunakan persentase cardiovascular load, variabel stres kerja menggunakan kuesioner stres kerja pada Peraturan Menteri Ketenagakerjaan Nomor 5 Tahun 2018, variabel kebisingan menggunakan Daily Noise Dose, dan iklim kerja menggunakan SNI 7061:2019. Metode pengujian pengaruh menggunakan uji regresi logistik ordinal. Hasil pengujian serentak menujukkan bahwa stres kerja, kebisingan, dan iklim kerja berpengaruh serentak terhadap beban kerja fisik dengan p-value (0,003) < 0,05. Hasil pengujian parsial menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing stres kerja dan kebisingan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap beban kerja fisik dengan stres kerja memiliki p-value (0,012) < 0,05 dan kebisingan memiliki p-value (0,012) < 0,05. Rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan berupa perbaikan pada kerusakan bagian trolley, perbaikan pada kerusakan komponen pintu dan jendela, memasang material soundproofing pada kabin operator, pelatihan, meningkatkan kualitas program K3, membentuk Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), penjadwalan pengecekan dan penggantian pelumas, penjadwalan maintenance rel trolley, pengadaan komponen ventilasi buatan, memasang pengumuman dan rambu-rambu APD, inspeksi APD, menjadwalkan pengadaan APD, melengkapi operator RTG dengan full body harness, memasang sabuk pengaman pada kursi operator, dan menyediakan ear plug.

Abstract

Parameter optimization is a technique used in the manufacturing process to create products with optimal quality. The research aims to find the optimal settings in the laser tube cutting machine so that the surface of the square pipe ST 37 becomes smoother and flatter. The settings to be changed are laser focal point, gas pressure, nozzle distance and laser power. This research uses Taguchi method with L9 (34) orthogonal matrix to analyze the experimental results. With each parameter having 3 levels according to the orthogonal matrix, the experiment was conducted 9 times with 3 replications to make the results more valid. In the research results obtained the most optimal combination of parameters on the laser tube cutting machine on the response of the cutting rate is with a combination of focus point parameters at level 1 of 0 mm, gas pressure at level 1 of 0.6 bar, and laser power parameters at level 1 of 1800 W.

Abstract

Quality Management is one of the activities of a foundry manufacturing company in order to develop and continue to manage the business processes in it. One of the VS casting products has a production period of 1 month from the injection moulding process to the machining stage using CNC lathe and milling. In quantity, many products have quality levels that are not up to standard. Based on data from the beginning of the year in February 2023, observations were made for 1 month to recap the production results in the finishing department of the machining section. It was recorded that there were 40% defective products out of a total of 686 pcs. After making improvements using the DMAIC method, the finished good machining target has increased to 52%. Coupled with the help of Minitab statistical software in calculating the sigma value from 2.09 can change to 2.2 with an initial DPMO of 275,520 down to 261,662. The calculation is also equipped with a cause analysis using the 4M + 1E factor and the implementation of improvements to each cause. The writing of this paper also provides advice on using form control to anticipate the loss of quality in VS products.
