Abstract

Refrigeration systems are an essential need in everyday life. There are lots of modern industry that uses refrigerator for helps maintain temperature stability from overheating and prevents the product from drying out protected from dirt and insect attacks. However, the refrigeration system used in industry still uses a refrigeration system vapor compression and using chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) refrigerant and hydro-chlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) which are harmful to the environment. Therefore, it requires thermoacoustic cooling generated by the engine single-stage thermoacoustic. This research was conducted numerically. In this research, the effects are simulated stack porosity on the performance of thermoacoustic cooling generated by a single-stage thermoacoustic machine at 0°C. the porosity was varied from 0.37 to 0.97. It was found that the stack porosity was optimal when the porosity is 0.97 and the performance of the cooler is 52 %. Moreover, the lowest heating temperature for the thermoacoustic machine is 217°C. This temperature can be used for waste heat recovery.

Abstract

Sub fokus penelitian ini adalah perencanaan strategi kepala sekolah dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka, pelaksanaan strategi kepala sekolah dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka dan evaluasi strategi kepala sekolah dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Nasima Kota Semarang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi kepala sekolah dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Nasima Kota Semarang.Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus. Desain penelitian kualitatif melalui tiga tahapan yaitu: orientasi, eksplorasi fokus, dan analisis data. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Analisis data dengan tiga langkah: reduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) perencanaan strategi kepala sekolah dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka dilakukan dengan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, penetapan program sekolah dan sosialisasi program. 2) Pelaksanaan strategi kepala sekolah dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka dengan menciptakan pembelajaran yang inovatif, merancang program P5 sesuai dengan tema yang ditentukan, membentuk team dan penanggung jawab pelaksanaan program sekolah. 3) evaluasi strategi kepala sekolah dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka dengan menentukan instrumen penilaian berupa angket dan lembar observasi.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan bumi dan antariksa (IPBA) di SMP Negeri 2 Bojong dari sudut pandang pendidikan untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan (ESD). Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif digunakan, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Bojong belum sepenuhnya mengintegrasikan konsep ESD dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pelajaran IPBA. Sumber daya belajar yang tidak memadai, prasarana yang tidak memadai, dan dukungan dari sekolah adalah masalah yang dihadapi guru saat menerapkan ESD. Studi ini menemukan bahwa prinsip-prinsip ESD seperti relevansi, interdisipliner, kritis, partisipatif, dan berorientasi pada tindakan dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran IPBA di SMP Negeri 2 Bojong. Disarankan agar guru membuat bahan ajar dan media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan ESD.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi penerapan Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) dalam pembelajaran teknologi ramah lingkungan bagi siswa SMP Negeri 2 Selopampang Kabupaten Temanggung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa SMP Negeri 2 Selopampang Kabupaten Temanggung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran teknologi ramah lingkungan belum menerapkan ESD. Hal ini dapat diketahui bahwa sebagian besar (80%) guru belum memahami tentang ESD, beberapa (60%) guru telah mengaitkan pembelajaran teknologi ramah lingkungan dengan isu lingkungan, sebagian besar (80%) guru belum menerapkan ESD dalam pembelajaran teknologi ramah lingkungan. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa ESD memiliki potensi untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran teknologi ramah lingkungan di SMP Negeri 2 Selopampang Kabupaten Temanggung.

Abstract

Understanding science literacy is essential to facilitating effective learning and effectively addressing environmental concerns, as global warming is a complex subject. The purpose of this study is to map the science literacy profile of junior high school students in grade 7 regarding global warming content. Using multiple-choice exams and interviews, a descriptive quantitative method is employed to gather data on science context, science content, scientific competence, and science attitudes. 64 grade 7 students from SMP Negeri 1 Sambong in the Blora district participated in this study. According to the findings, 50% of students' science literacy in the area of global warming fell into the "very poor" category. The science literacy of the students attained an average score of 28% in the context aspect, 14% in the content aspect, 14% in the competency component, and 22% in the science attitude aspect. Based on the average score, it can be inferred that the science literacy skills of the pupils remain in the "very poor" category when considering all four components.  These results have implications for the necessity of creating a science curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking and application in relation to global warming in order to raise students' general science literacy levels.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia seeks to realize sustainable development through the implementation of ESD in Vocational High Schools (SMK). Even though ESD has been attempted in Indonesia, especially in the world of vocational school level education, based on the results of observations in the field, it turns out that learning in the classroom is still not fully directed towards Sustainable Development Education, even though it can actually be integrated well, for example in the science and technology project learning. ESD is very important in building students' mindset and lifestyle in the present and future, so this research was carried out to obtain more concrete information regarding students' sustainability awareness profiles through the integration of ESD in the science project learning, which is deemed to be beneficial. supporting students' sustainability awareness. The researcher carried out a quantitative research approach using the Oneshot case study method through a survey with a random sample of 482 students in 2 vocational schools in Semarang Regency online using a Descriptive Analytical method. The instrument used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale (without neutral options) which was given after the learning process. Through this research, data was obtained that Sustainability Awareness (Sustainability Awareness) in the emotional and behavioral and attitude categories includes the "often done" criteria, but the practice awareness category includes the "rarely done" criteria. Based on the results of this research, it is recommended for vocational school teachers to increase students' awareness of environmental and sustainability issues through the integration of ESD concepts in all subjects as well as hands-on practical programs such as clean-up actions and the art of recycling. Involving local communities as part of the learning process and providing assistance by competent teachers in the field of ESD can also help increase sustainability awareness among vocational school students

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of differentiated learning in the Natural and Social Sciences Project (NSS Project)ith a focus on aspects of substances and their changes. The application of this learning model is directed at realizing the Pancasila student profile of the dimensions of faith, devotion to God Almighty, and noble character by emphasizing the moral element towards nature. The research method used was experimentation with a control class and an experimental class. Differentiated learning is applied to the experimental class, while the control class receives conventional learning. Based on the results of the N-gain score test calculation, it shows that the average N-gain score for the experimental class (differentiated learning approach) is 57.1599 or 57.2%, which is in the quite effective category. With a minimum N-Gain value of 29.63% and a maximum of 89.67%. Meanwhile, the average N-Gain score for the control class (conventional learning) was 32.3181 or 32.3%, which was included in the ineffective category. With a minimum N-gain score of 10.875 and a maximum of 54.35%. So it can be concluded that the use of a differentiated learning approach is quite effective in increasing the profile of Pancasila students in the dimensions of faith, devotion to God Almighty and noble moral.

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning devices with a project-based learning model in order to improve students' creative thinking skills in physics subjects on renewable energy material. This type of research is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Semarang with the research subjects being a physics teacher and 10th grade students. The research instruments consist of three types, including 1). Feasibility test using a questionnaire sheet, 2). Practicality test using observation sheets and questionnaires, and 3). Effectiveness test using creative thinking skills questions on renewable energy material. Research data related to the effectiveness test in the form of pre-test and post-test were analyzed using the N-gain test. Based on the data analysis, the results obtained include 1). The results of the validation of the learning devices with an average percentage value of 79% (high), 2). The results of the physics teacher's response regarding the practicality of the learning devices obtained a percentage of 83% (very practical), and 3). The results of the effectiveness test using the N-gain test showed that there was an increase in students' creative thinking skills on the renewable energy material taught using the project-based learning (PjBL) model learning device. So it can be concluded that the use of project-based learning models can improve students' creative thinking skills in studying material about renewable energy.

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to explain the conception and actualization of Transformational Leadership in Islamic educational institutions. The transformational leadership of school/madrasah principals emphasizes their efforts to influence their subordinates, especially teachers, in order to gain support from various stakeholders in improving the quality of student education. The method used in the preparation of this article is the Literature Study method. Literature Study is a data collection method that aims to search for information and data through written documents or online sources that support the writing process. Based on the research findings and discussions in this study, several conclusions can be drawn. One of them is that transformational leadership is a type of leadership that can bring about change within individuals and the entire organization to achieve higher performance and outcomes. To become a transformational leader, several approaches can be taken, including: a) Creating a clear vision, b) Managing the implementation of the vision to establish a clear vision, c) Motivating the team, d) Being creative and innovative.Keywords : Leadership, Transformational, EducationAbstrak : penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menerangkan bagaimana konsepsi dan aktualisasi Kepemimpinan Transformasional di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penyusunan artikel ini adalah metode Studi Pustaka. Studi Pustaka adalah metode pengumpulan data yang bertujuan untuk mencari informasi dan data melalui dokumen tertulis atau sumber online yang mendukung proses penulisan. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, disimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki kemampuan untuk menginspirasi perubahan dalam individu-individu yang terlibat serta dalam keseluruhan organisasi, dengan tujuan meningkatkan kinerja dan hasil secara signifikan. Untuk menjadi seorang pemimpin transformasional, ada beberapa langkah yang dapat diambil, seperti mengembangkan visi yang jelas, mengelola implementasi visi tersebut, memotivasi tim, dan menunjukkan sikap kreatif serta inovatif.Kata Kunci : Kepemimpinan, Transformasional, Pendidikan

Abstract

AbstrakProses pembelajaran yang baik haruslah memuat aspek interaktif, menyenangkan, menantang, memotivasi, dan memberikan ruang yang lebih bagi siswa untuk dapat mengembangkan kreativitas dan kemandirian, sesuai dengan bakat dan minat siswa. Media pembelajaran yang menarik juga sangat diperlukan bagi siswa SMK, dikarenakan dalam pembelajaran SMK lebih mengutamakan praktikum dari pada teori. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (RD) model Borg and Gall yaitu: (1) Potensi dan Masalah, (2) Pengumpulan Data, (3) Desain, (4) Validasi, (5) Revisi, (6) Uji Coba. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK LPI Semarang dengan melibatkan 22 responden pada bulan November 2019 untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reaity. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui media angket kemudian dilakukan analisis dengan mengubah rata-rata skor ke dalam bentuk persentase.Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) aplikasi Hardware Reality untuk siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan yang berbasis Augmented Reality yang dapat berjalan pada smartphone android dengan minimal OS 4.1(Jelly Bean). Aplikasi ini memiliki ukuran 57,70 MB, (2) Aplikasi Hardware Reality ini telah divalidasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Dengan hasil penilaian ahli media mendapatkan 93,75% dan ahli materi mendapatkan 84,375% dengan kriteria kelayakan “Sangat Baik” . Rata-rata keseluruhan responden sebesar 89,09% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik” sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality yang dikembangkan “Sangat Baik” digunakan.Kata Kunci: Aplikasi, Media Pembelajaran, Augmented Reality, Research and Development, Kelayakan
