Abstract

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of educator certification on the performance and professionalism of PAI Teachers at State High Schools in Enrekang Regency. The research method is a descriptive-analytic descriptive method to see the effect between the independent and dependent variables. This research is survey research. The population is all PAI teachers of State Senior High Schools in Enrekang Regency who are already certified. The proportional stratified technique does sampling. Determination of the sample using accidental sampling. Data collection techniques used were questionnaire, interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis using descriptive analysis and inferential statistics using the SPSS 22 program. The study results showed that PAI teachers of State Senior High Schools in Enrekang District who were already certified thought that certification was quite decisive in increasing teacher performance. Their level of performance is in a good category, so the proposed hypothesis turns out to be proven. The research implies that the Educational Personnel Education Institution (LPTK) as the certification implementer needs to review the training system used so far, such as the allocation of time, more practical training methods, the determination of resource persons for training facilities and infrastructure. The PAI teachers of the State High School in Enrekang are expected to be more creative in improving performance because the provision of educator certificates only supports more self-improvement.

Abstract

The first purpose of this paper is to develop or construct a new human development composite index and applied to measure the performance of human development in the village / district of West Seram Regency. The second, to develop the priority scale of human development planning. This paper applies quantitative analysis method that is principal component regression (PCR) and clustering analysis (CA). Data is sourced from the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of West Seram Regency of year 2016. Application of principal component regression and clustering analysis method, aims to improve the aggregation method of human development composite index developed by UNDP. Composite index compositions resulting from principal component regression and IPM-UNDP largely result in different ranking information but in some villages have the same rank. Based on K-means clustering analysis, there were 3 main clusters, namely high, medium and low cluster. The number of villages in the high cluster is 6 villages, the medium cluster is 13 villages and low cluster is 14 villages.

Abstract

This research aims to describe text writing ability explanatory text before and after using the photographic picture media and description is there the effect of photographic image media on writing ability explanatory text class students XI SMK PAB 3 Medan Estate Year Of Learning 2018/2019. Research population is a class student XI SMK PAB 3 Medan Estate Year Of Learning 2018/2019. that number 66 students. and who become research samples as much 34 students, the class XI Accounting for pre-test and post-test classes, appearance of this sample is done by using class random sampling. This research method is experimental method. Research instruments used are esay tests formed written tested before and after participating in learning using photographic image media. The conclusions obtained from this study are ability to write explanatory text before using media photographic images got pre-test 74,12 in category B (good), the ability to write explanatory text after using photographic image media got A post-test score of 84.56 in category A (very good). The use of photographic media images has a significant influence on students' ability to write explanatory text. The price of = 8.093 is greater than at = 0.05 = = 66 which is 8.093 1,668 so that the better use of photographic image media then bushkin improves the ability of students to write explanatory texts.

Abstract

Distance learning with an online format is one of the channels that are widely practiced by educational institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Inevitably, the practice of distance education has attracted the attention of many researchers to examine it from various perspectives, considering that the change in the format of learning from face-to-face to distance learning occurs rapidly and massively affects all educational institutions around the world, including them. Indonesia. This rapid change in learning formats presents both challenges and opportunities in integrating technology with distance formats. This study investigates the online teaching practice of English teachers in presenting English lessons at SMP Muhammadiyah Serui during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses the lens of the teaching attendance framework to analyze online teaching practices, considering that a strong teaching presence element is needed in learning that only relies on written language in online learning. This study uses a qualitative design. The data set, consisting of transcripts of online discussion posts and interviews with an English teacher, principal, and 13 deliberately selected students, was analyzed deductively. The findings of this study are that English teachers have not presented teaching attendance based on indicators in the three components of teaching attendance, including the categories of design & organization, facilitation discourse, and direct teaching.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of student interest in learning and student learning outcomes at MI DDI Batubessi and the correlation between interest in learning and student learning outcomes at MI DDI Batubessi. The method used in this study is a quantitative method, several methods for collecting data are observation, questionnaires and documentation. This research was conducted in MI DDI Batubessi, Barru district. The results of the study show: 1). Students' learning interest in fiqh subjects at MI DDI Batubessi is 1317 with an average score of 23.5. 2). Student learning outcomes in fiqh subjects at MI DDI Batubessi seen from report cards are 4520 with an average value of 82.18. 3). For the correlation between interest in learning and student learning outcomes in fiqh subjects at MI DDI Batubessi using the product moment correlation formula which shows a significant correlation with student achievement in fiqh subjects.

Abstract

Globalization brings very rapid changes in various aspects of life, including in the world of education. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as an integral part in the formation of character and morals of the younger generation faces major challenges to adapt to the dynamic developments of the times. Learning innovation is an important solution so that PAI remains relevant and able to answer the needs of students in a global context. This literature study aims to identify various PAI learning innovations that are effective in facing the challenges of globalization based on studies of various current research and scientific articles. The method used is a literature study with data search techniques through relevant journals, books, and online sources. The results of the study show that there are five important points of learning innovation, namely: the use of digital technology as a learning medium, the development of contextual and thematic curriculum, the application of interactive learning methods, strengthening moral values ​​and character through a multidisciplinary approach, and increasing the competence of PAI teachers in mastering modern technology and pedagogy. In conclusion, adaptive and integrative PAI learning innovations are needed to equip students to face the challenges of globalization while maintaining religious and cultural values.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has had a major impact on various aspects of life, including in the world of education. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as part of the national curriculum also faces new challenges and opportunities in the learning process. One of the main challenges is maintaining and increasing students' learning motivation which is increasingly distracted by various digital platforms. This literature study aims to examine in depth the role of teachers in increasing PAI learning motivation in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method from various sources such as scientific journals, reference books, and the latest academic articles. The results of the study show that teachers have a strategic role not only as material deliverers, but also as facilitators, motivators, innovators, and spiritual guides who are able to adapt technology in the learning process. Teachers who are able to utilize digital media effectively, develop technology-based learning strategies, and build emotional closeness with students will be more successful in increasing their learning motivation. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the digital and pedagogical competencies of teachers in order to be able to answer the challenges of PAI learning in the digital era. This study provides recommendations for the development of teacher training and the integration of technology into the PAI curriculum.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has a strategic role in shaping character and strengthening the spiritual mentality of students amidst the challenges of the era of globalization and disruption of moral values. Through an Islamic values ​​approach, PAI can be a foundation in building individuals with integrity, noble character, and strong mentality in facing social pressures and developments of the times. This study aims to examine various literature related to the contribution of PAI to strengthening the character and spiritual mentality of students, both in schools and outside schools. This study uses a literature study method (library research) by reviewing scientific journals, reference books, and education policy documents. The results of the study show that PAI is able to strengthen the values ​​of honesty, responsibility, empathy, discipline, and spiritual resilience of students. In addition, internalization of religious values ​​in PAI learning has a positive impact on students' inner peace and learning motivation. Character building through habituation methods, teacher role models, and integration of Islamic values ​​in daily life are the main strategies in implementing religion-based character education. Thus, PAI not only plays a role as a subject, but also as a medium for continuous character and spiritual development. This study recommends improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education teachers and integrating a more humanistic and contextual curriculum to strengthen the relevance and effectiveness of Islamic Religious Education in the modern era.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) not only aims to shape students' religious knowledge, but also plays an important role in shaping character and developing soft skills that are crucial in community life. Soft skills such as communication, cooperation, leadership, empathy, and self-control are non-technical skills that are greatly needed in the 21st century. Through the approach of Islamic values ​​taught in PAI, students can internalize attitudes and behaviors that support the development of soft skills. This literature study aims to examine the contribution of PAI to the formation of soft skills in school students, by analyzing various scientific references and previous research results. The method used is a literature review by analyzing national and international journals related to PAI and soft skills. The results of the study show that PAI has a significant impact on the development of soft skills through the internalization of Islamic values, teacher role models, project-based learning activities and group discussions. These findings indicate the importance of strengthening contextual and reflective approaches in PAI learning. Thus, PAI has the potential to be a strategic forum in shaping students' personalities who are not only religious, but also adaptive, communicative, and collaborative in facing the challenges of the times.
