Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of parenting patterns and how much influence it has on verbal linguistic intelligence in early childhood at KB Islam Al-Firdaus. The method used is quantitative with an associative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires with a total of 35 parents of students as respondents, all items were declared valid and reliable with Cronbach's Alpha greater than 0.6. The results of the analysis showed a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.742, which means that parenting patterns contribute 74.2% to verbal linguistic intelligence, the remaining 25.8% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. The t-test produced t-count = 9.737 with a significance of 0.000

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh pembelajaran coding dapat meningkatkan fokus belajar anak usia dini di TK Perintis Aisyiyah. Fokus belajar anak merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam mendukung keberhasilan proses pembelajaran. Melalui coding, anak diajak untuk berpikir logis dan terstruktur dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan. Hal ini diharapkan dapat menstimulasi konsentrasi anak dalam jangka waktu yang lebih panjang. Dengan begitu, pembelajaran coding dapat menjadi sarana efektif untuk mengembangkan fokus anak usia dini. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan disesuaikan dengan perkembangan anak usia dini. Setiap instrumen dirancang agar sesuai dengan karakteristik anak, baik dari segi kemampuan berpikir maupun tingkat konsentrasi. Peneliti menggunakan indikator fokus yang dapat diamati secara langsung dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Hal ini penting agar data yang diperoleh benar-benar menggambarkan kondisi nyata anak di kelas. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian dapat dijadikan dasar yang relevan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian melibatkan unsur lembaga TK Perintis Aisyiyah. Mereka terdiri dari Kepala Sekolah, guru sebagai tenaga pendidik, serta orang tua anak. Keterlibatan berbagai pihak ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran menyeluruh tentang fokus anak. Dengan metode tersebut, penelitian diharapkan menghasilkan data yang kaya dan mendalam. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Wawancara ditujukan kepada kepala sekolah, guru, serta orang tua untuk menggali informasi lebih dalam. Observasi dilakukan untuk melihat langsung perilaku fokus anak dalam pembelajaran coding. Dokumentasi digunakan sebagai bukti pendukung berupa catatan maupun foto kegiatan. Seluruh data kemudian dianalisis dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran coding memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap fokus belajar anak. Anak terlihat mampu mempertahankan atensi lebih lama ketika mengikuti pembelajaran coding. Walaupun demikian, masih ada beberapa anak yang tingkat fokusnya rendah. Guru dan orang tua berupaya memberikan stimulasi sederhana sesuai karakteristik anak usia dini. Temuan ini menjadi penting bagi pengembangan pembelajaran di PAUD, khususnya untuk meningkatkan fokus belajar anak.

Abstract

This research aims to introduce the concept of gender to early childhood, as gender awareness education is closely related to social development and the formation of behavior patterns in adulthood, as well as helping children fully understand their self-identity as male or female. The study focuses on preliminary observations conducted at RA Al Mustaqbal regarding early childhood gender understanding, particularly in self-identification. Through role-playing, children can explore various roles without being limited by gender stereotypes, allowing them to develop talents, interests, and hobbies freely regardless of sex. This method also enhances children’s socio-emotional aspects, such as self-confidence, tolerance, and social skills. Educators also gain insights into inclusive gender values that can be internalized in the learning process, thereby creating a gender-equitable early childhood education environment that supports holistic child development. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, as it is highly suitable and relevant to the research entitled “Gender Awareness Education for Early Childhood through Role-Playing Method at RA Al Mustaqbal.” Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation, and photography. To ensure the validity of the data, source triangulation was applied. The findings at RA Al Mustaqbal show that the role-playing method is an effective way to introduce gender education to early childhood. Through role-playing activities, children are given opportunities to engage directly in various simulations of professional or daily life roles without restrictions based on gender. Both boys and girls are free to choose and perform roles they are interested in, enabling them to experience firsthand being, for example, a doctor, teacher, police officer, firefighter, or other professions. Participation in role-play has proven to encourage a more open attitude and acceptance of diverse gender roles. Children become more confident, willing to try roles outside their usual choices, and begin to understand that any role can be carried out by anyone regardless of gender identity. Social interactions during these activities also help sharpen communication, cooperation, and empathy—key aspects in character building and fostering gender equality awareness from an early age. Teachers at RA Al Mustaqbal play a crucial role in designing, guiding, and creating an inclusive environment throughout the role-playing process. With positive atmosphere and constructive guidance from teachers, children are better able to comprehend the concept of gender awareness education.
