Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara psychological capital dengan work engagement pada karyawan produksi di perusahaan PT.X. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis korelasional. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan produksi PT.X sebanyak 90 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu sampel jenuh. Instrument yang digunakan berupa skala psychological capital dan skala work engagement. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji korelasi pearson product moment dengan bantuan SPSS 25.0 for windows. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05) atau kurang dari 0,05 yang memiliki arti terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara psychological capital dengan work engagement. Nilai koefisien korelasi yang diperoleh sebesar 0,748 (r=0,748) hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara psychological capital dengan work engagement tergolong kuat dan positif. Adanya hubungan yang positif tersebut memiliki arti bahwa semakin tinggi psychological capital pada karyawan produksi maka akan semakin tinggi juga work engagement pada karyawan produksi. Demikan pula sebaliknya, semakin rendah psychological capital maka semakin rendah pula work engagement pada karyawan produksi PT.X

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat adanya hubungan antara pemberdayaan psikologis dengan komitmen organisasi pada karyawan produksi unit maintenance di PT. X. Adanya komitmen organisasi dapat meningkatkan kualitas pekerjaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu karyawan produksi unit maintenance berjumlah 67 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling dengan masa kerja diatas 2 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu instrumen berupa skala ukur psikologis dari pemberdayaan psikologis dan komitmen organisasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji korelasi pearson product-moment dengan menggunakan bantuan software SPSS 25.0 for windows. Hasil analisis data pada penelitian menunjukkan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05) yang artinya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pemberdayaan psikologis dengan komitmen organisasi. Nilai koefisien korelasi yang didapatkan yaitu sebesar 0,717 (r=0,717) sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa hubungan antara pemberdayaan psikologis dengan komitmen organisasi pada karyawan produksi unit maintenance termasuk dalam kategori kuat. Semakin tinggi nilai pemberdayaan psikologis, maka semakin tinggi pula komitmen organisasi yang ditampakkan oleh karyawan, demikian pula sebaliknya.

Abstract

Objective: Meaningful work is an essential aspect of teachers that can be influential in improving the quality of education; therefore, this study aimed to identify antecedent factors and determinants of meaningful work in teachers. Method: This study used a systematic literature review to examine the variables that can be antecedents and determinants of meaningful work. Results: Based on the literature studies that have been conducted, it is known that variables such as calling orientation, work role fit, workplace attachment, coworker relations, job design, altruistic behavior, authentic leadership, job crafting, and perceptions of organizational identification can be antecedent factors of meaningful work of teachers. Meaningful work can determine variables such as work attitude, teacher-student relationships, work engagement, burnout, resilience, self-rated health, intention to leave, corrosion at the character level, and organizational commitment. Novelty: This study thoroughly examines the antecedents and determinants of teachers' meaningful work variables, which, other yet to behave, need to be more widely researched.

Abstract

Early childhood education is an important foundation for a child's future development. For this reason, when learning at the early childhood education level, teachers are needed who have professional commitment in carry-ing out their duties. Teachers who have professional commitment will be able to display optimal performance for early childhood learning. There are many factors that influence professional commitment, one of which is job satisfaction. Job satisfaction factors are the topic of study in this research. This research aims to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and professional commitment in early childhood education teachers.  This research was conducted using quantitative methods. The sampling technique for this research uses convenience. The number of research subjects was 120 Early Childhood Education teachers. Data were collected using a psy-chological scale developed by the research team. The psychological scale consists of a job satisfaction scale and a professional commitment scale. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson Correlation analysis tech-nique. The research results show that there is a significant positive relationship between job satisfaction and professional commitment in early childhood education teachers. The results of the correlation analysis show that the higher the job satisfaction, the higher the professional commitment. The novelty of this research is that there is still limited research regarding the relationship between job satisfaction and professional commitment among early childhood teachers. Several previous studies discussing job satisfaction and professional commitment used research subjects, such as nurses, auditor, employees and teachers at higher education levels.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the factors that affect teacher recruitment in schools. This research method uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. In the future, small and medium-sized companies face the challenge of retaining their best human resources to keep working for the company. Aligning individual values with work, organisation, and group is the best way to achieve goals through creative changes in employee behaviour. They found that misinterpretations of cultural roles, stigma, fear and prejudice, low status of educators in the preschool sector, and lack of male recruitment policies influenced male recruitment into the preschool sector. This study concludes that the factors that affect teacher recruitment in schools are education, experience, gender, salary, facilities, working conditions, job satisfaction, career advancement opportunities, location (urban and rural), people organisation, personal motivation, organisational practices, compatibility between personal characteristics and job needs, values, social cognitive career, self-decision, career construction, living space, commitment, teacher competence, social cognitive, sustainable professional development. The recruitment stages at the school are committee formation, socialisation, registration, and selection process, which includes written exams, interviews, and microteaching. After the selection process is complete, qualified teachers are announced. Hiring can run smoothly if supported by facilities, team collaboration, and human resources.
