Abstract

This study aims to determine the added value derived from green beans when processed into cakes pia on Industry Household karya "AN-NUR" in Palu. The location determination is done intentionally (purposive) with the consideration that the Industry of Household Karya "AN-NUR"  is central to the production of cakes pia. Respondents in this study is the leadership and employees of Industry of Household Work "AN-NUR" in BTN Palupi Block I1 No. 12 District of South Palu Palu. Respondent committed intentionally by the consideration that the leadership and employees can provide information about the processing of green beans into pia pastry and data required. The number of respondents as many as 4 people, consisting of 1 and 3 industry leaders Household Industrial employees Karya "AN-NUR". Collecting data on the analysis of the added value of this research consists of two types of data namely primary and secondary data. The analysis is the analysis of the value added by Hayami method. The results showed that the value added is the difference between the value of output, the contribution of other inputs and raw material prices. Industrial added value of Household Karya "AN-NUR" is equal Rp76.091,67/ (Kg). The ratio of the value added is a percentage of the value added to the value of output, the magnitude of the ratio     of value added to the Domestic Industry Karya "AN-NUR", ie by 72%, resulting from the ratio of value added to the value of the product by 72%, indicating that every Rp 100 value pia pastry products will be obtained added value of Rp 72. Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of income and a chocolate on an industrial Rapoviaka Rapoviaka Simple in Palu City. During the months of April to June 2016. The location determination and respondents were intentionally (purposive). The number of respondents as many as three people. Collecting data in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data.Analysis of the data used is the analysis of income. Research shows the revenues and the feasibility of such chocolate products rapoviaka good so far.This matter Shown results showed that the income earned in May 2016 amounted to USD 10,785,707.3 for chocolate Rapoviaka. Rapoviaka chocolate produced each month in accordance with the availability of raw materials and demand consumer feasibility analysis shows that chocolate processed products are eligible for cultivated Rapoviaka indicated by the value of R / C of 2.17 means that every single rupiah expenses incurred Rapoviaka Simple industry will gain acceptance Rp 2.17 . Keywords:Feasibility, Income, Rapoviaka Chocolate

Abstract

This study aims to determine the copra marketing channels, the amount of margin on each marketing channel, and the price part that received by farmers in each marketing channel and the copra marketing efficiency of each marketing channel. The study was conducted from March to May 2015 at Tambu Balaesang District of Donggala. Respondents were farmers, traders and retailers as consumers. Sampling of respondents performed by using simple random sampling and selected 34 respondents from total 130 farmers in this village. Sampling for merchant respondent’s was by tracing method and got 3 collectors and 1 retailer respondents. The total number of respondents was 38. The analysis was used the farmers share. The analysis showed that the copra marketing margin obtained for the first channel was 500 per kg. The part of this price that received by farmers in this first channel was 90,60%, and the second channel is 94,44%. Thus, the greatest part of the price received by farmers is on the second channel of marketting. Copra marketing channels in Tambu village consists of two channels, namely: 1) Farmers →middle man→Consumers, 2) Farmers →Consumers.In the first channel, efficiency value that received by farmers was 9,40% and 5.56% at second channel of marketing, respectively. Thus the direct channel from farmers to consumers is more efficient.Key Words: Copra, farmershare, marketing analysis.

Abstract

This research aims to know the farmer income of pine SAP tappers in the village of Tangkulowi sub-district of Kulawi, Sigi Regency. Determination of the respondents in this research was conducted by the census method, that is taken from the population. The population in this study was as many as 42 people tappers and it was taken samples as many as 42 people as well. Methods of analysis used was the income analysis.The results of the analysis showed that the income earned  byfarmers of pine SAP tappers in the village of Tangkulowi sub-district of Kulawi Sigi Regency was Rp. 2,157,403.18 per harvesting season or Rp. 3,082,004.54 for a month. The income average per season of pine SAP tappers farmers harvest was obtained for three weeks. Earned income of  farmers of pine SAP tappers in the village of Tangkulowi sub-district of Kulawi Regency Sigi quite large that is reached Rp. 3,082,004.54 per a month that means it is greater than the Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) of Central Sulawesi 2016 was Rp. 1,670,000 for a month. Key Words : Acceptance of farmers, Farmers income and Revenue analysis

Abstract

This study aimed to determine best marketing strategies for seaweed candy industry "Citarasaku" in Tinggede Village District of Marawola Sigi. This research was conducted in January – February 2016 with the number of respondents was four people. The tool used to analyze both internal and external factors of the industry “Citarasaku” was the SWOT. Based on the SWOT analysis, the strategy for marketing the seaweed candy is in the quadrant I (Strengths – Opportunities strategy).  The best strategies implemented include (a) utilizing the availability of raw materials for production increases in order to meet highly increasing demand, (b) promoting attractive packages and affordable candy price through various media, (c) maintaining the quallity of the products in order to take advantage of goverment assistance and activities organized by government such as exhibitions. Key Words: Candy, marketing strategies and SWOT analysis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the attributes of local and imported citrus fruits mostly considered and preferred in Palu. The number of Respondents was 60 people determined using an incidental sampling technique. Data were analyzed using chi square and Fishbein multiattribute analyses. The result of the research showed that the number of respondents aged between 19 – 27 years who bought both local and imported citrus is eight respondents while whose aged between 28 – 36 years is 21 respondents (53%). The respondents whose age > 36 years (18 people, 35%) prefer to buy imported citrus. Based on the results of chi square analysis, there are differences in consumer preferences on all attributes of local and imported citrus except on the fruit color of the imported fruits. The results of the Fishbein multiattribute analysis indicate that the attributes of the local fruits mostly considered by the respondents are flavor, price, size and color whereas that of the imported fruits are flavor, color, size and price.  Key Words: Consumer preferences, fruit attributes, local citrus, and imported citrus.

Abstract

Copra is a derivative product of coconut plants cultivated by the people of Indonesia. This commodityis generally used as raw material for coconut oil. Copra is produced from dried coconut meat by reducingwater contents up to 50%. One kilogram of copra is derived from four large coconuts. This study aimed to determine how much revenue received by the producers of copra in Meli Village Balaesang District Donggala Regency. This research was conducted in Meli Village Balaesang District Donggala Regency from March to May 2016 on the grounds that Meli Village Balaesang District Donggala Regency was one of copra producing regions. The number of respondents was amounted to 30 of the total 60 people who had been conducting copra processing business. Respondent determinationwas done using simple random sampling method. The primary data in this study were obtained by means of direct observations and interviews with selected respondents using questionnaires, while secondary data were obtained from related literatures and institutions. The results of this study showed that the revenue received by the producers of copra in Meli Village Balaesang District Donggala Regencywas amounted to Rp 189.143.855/three months period, with average amounted to Rp 6.304.795,00/three months period. Keywords : Copra, producer, revenue.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the amount of revenue earned and expenses incurred, know the size of the resulting production and sales value received in the Village Oyster Mushroom Business District of Mpanau Biromaru Sigi. The study was conducted in the village of Oyster Mushroom Business District of Mpanau Biromaru Sigi in October to December 2015.                 The respondents consisted of two persons namely business owners and labor one person of Business Oyster Mushrooms. The results indicate the that study: (1). The revenue the that oyster mushroom business are products IDR. 5,250,000/month with a production cost of IDR. 3,032,268/month, in order to obtain of revenue IDR. 2,217,732/month. (2). The break even point for the product achieved in the oyster mushroom production volume as much as 51 kg at a price of IDR. 35,000/kg, the sales value of IDR. 1,785,000/month. This could mean that if these efforts produce results of more than 51 kg or gain more acceptance, then the business will have an advantage, otherwise if the business is producing less than 51 kg or receiving less then this business will suffer losses. Key Words: Analysis of break event point, Oyster mushroom business in Mpanau Viilage.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the total costs, production volume, sales price and the amount of paddy farm income in the village Baluase South Dolo Sigi districts. The research was conducted in January to February 2015. The Respondent is done by simple random sampling method (Simple Random Sampling), considering that the number of respondents who were taken in the study were 20 farmers. The analysis used in this study is an analysis of income. The results showed that the average/ha income received by farmers for rice farming where the use of balanced fertilizer  average income of Rp 20.91405 million/ha, while the average income does not use a balanced fertilizer Rp 8.2358 million/ha. By means paddy rice farming which uses balanced fertilizer gave the comparison of real incomes compare to the one not using balanced fertilizer.

Abstract
