Abstract

The Mandalika Special Economic Zone is one of the locations selected as a priority destination by the Government of Indonesia. Therefore, this opportunity must be utilized by the surrounding community in order to get the maximum benefit. This study aims to assess the readiness of the community in carrying out tourism-based development. Identify readiness both as a host and as a tourism business actor based on the Sapta Pesona standard. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the people around the Mandalika Special Economic Zone are quite ready to take advantage of tourism activities. However, the standard of safety and serenity is still not as expected. Thus, there is still a need for improvement in terms of security and additional green open space to add to the coolness of the Mandalika area.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Aplikasi web-based business diharapkan mampu membantu perusahaan start up untuk dapat menjangkau pasar yang dituju secara lebih cepat dan lebih terorganisir, dengan tingkat biaya ekonomi yang lebih efisien. Akan tetapi ternyata hal ini tidak sejalan dengan keadaan dimana lebih dari 40 persen perusahaan startup di Indonesia, mengalami kegagalan keuangan dan gagal mempertahankan usahanya secara kontinu, terutama di masa pandemic covid-19. Kondisi ini terutama diperkirakan karena dilema permasalahan yang menghadapi startup business, terutama dari pengelolaan aspek keuangan organisasi yang kurang efisien. Berangkat dari hal ini, maka dibutuhkan adanya kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang berdampak nyata dalam peningkatan kualitas inklusi keuangan bagi perusahaan startup yang berbasis mobile. terutama bertujuan untuk memperluas pengetahuan akan pengelolaan keuangan yang efektif dan efisien, dimana dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui kekuatan finansial perusahaan dan dapat dijadikan pertimbangan dalam keputusan untuk membuat bisnis berjalan lebih sehat dalam kekuatan finansial. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan secara online dengan melibatkan pihak akademisi, praktisi dan masyarakat sasar, dengan hasil utama berupa gambaran pemetaan akan kunci kebutuhan dari aspek pengelolaan keuangan bagi komunitas perusahaan start-up berbasis mobile. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini memberikan kontribusi dalam peningkatan kekuatan bersaing perusahaan melalui peningkatan keahlian pengelolaan keuangan bagi perusahaan startup berbasis mobile.Kata kunci: Perencanaan Keuangan, Pengabdian Masyarakat, Perusahaan Start-Up

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how much influence the use of brand ambassadors has on Somethink products. In addition, this study also aims to determine the effect of Electronic Word Of Mouth so that it can generate consumer buying interest in Something products. What will later be known is whether these three variables have an impact on whether the use of the NCT DREAM brand ambassador can affect consumer buying interest in skincare products Something. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive research type and uses a Likert scale as a measurement. The sampling was carried out using the side non-probability method with a total of 100 respondents. The analysis technique used in this study is descriptive and multiple linear regression analysis processed using SPSS. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis in this study, it can be concluded that the respondents' responses obtained through questionnaires to the brand ambassador, electronic word of mouth and purchase intention variables have a percentage that is in the very good category. Abstract

This article evaluates the integration of virtual reality (VR) technology in foreign language training for SMEs in Indonesia using the Kirkpatrick Model. The study involved SME actors from various industries who participated in a tailored VR language training program. Surveys and interviews were conducted to assess participants' reactions, perceptions, and relevance to language learning goals. The evaluation measured learning outcomes such as improved language proficiency and increased confidence in using foreign languages in business settings. The study also investigated behavioral changes resulting from VR training, including language skills application in daily business activities and communication strategies with international partners or customers. The overall impact of the program on SMEs' competitiveness, market expansion, and international collaboration was evaluated. The findings indicate that the VR training program was effective, with positive reactions, learning outcomes, and behavioral changes in business activities. The study emphasizes the importance of measuring reactions and suggesting improvements in training materials and implementation schedules based on participant feedback. The VR-based language training program holds promise for enhancing SMEs' language skills, competitiveness, and internationalization efforts.

Abstract

Setting up a business can be an option for someone to work after retirement, and technological developments can accelerate business development, especially small businesses, to enable them to reach a wider market at relatively low costs. Technology is very closely related to people's daily lives. However, older people often have limitations in learning new technologies. Therefore, technological literacy is very important nowadays, so developing technology can be used effectively and positively impact users. As a university that has a vision of playing an active role in the development of technology, science, and arts based on technology, the Faculty of Communication and Business, Telkom University plays an active role in this progress, one of which is through contributions in increasing technological literacy for business people. The introduction of online business applications for retirees who own small businesses in Bandung is a form of community service aimed at increasing the adoption of technology and skills to develop online businesses effectively. This activity was carried out using the seminar method and practical use of business applications. This activity was attended by 30 retirees of the Wredatama Association of the Republic of Indonesia (PWRI) West Java, who already have businesses.

Abstract

Kegiatan pemasaran menjadi aktivitas utama selain produksi yang menentukan kesuksesan serta kelangsungan usaha UMKM. Tanpa melakukan inovasi pemasaran, UMKM harus siap kalah dengan pesaingnya. Terlebih saat ini mereka dihadapkan dengan pasar global yang telah memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk mendukung kegiatan pemasaran. Selain itu, untuk menarik minat beli konsumen, UMKM juga harus memperhatikan kualitas kemasan pada produk yang dijualnya. Untuk membantu meningkatkan pemahaman dan wawasan UMKM di lingkungan Kecamatan Pangalengan Kabupaten Bandung, Universitas Telkom bekerja sama dengan Sentra Kreasi Bandung memberikan penyuluhan yang dapat membantu pelaku usaha dalam membuat konten pada media sosial Instagram serta membuat pembaruan desain kemasan. Untuk memberikan studi kasus yang riil, diserahkan konten-konten digital dan desain kemasan yang baru kepada UMKM Barokah. Kegiatan yang diikuti oleh 16 UMKM tersebut mendapatkan respon yang positif dari peserta. Mereka merasakan manfaat langsung dari kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan dan berharap kegiatan yang serupa dapat kembali dilaksanakan sehingga dapat menjangkau UMKM yang lebih banyak.

Abstract

Financial Planning Training for New Businesses plays a crucial role in addressing the challenges faced by new business owners, particularly in managing finances. The main problem often encountered is the lack of knowledge and experience in business financial management. This training aims to provide a deep understanding of the process of building a new business while designing efficient financial planning. The implementation method includes the dissemination of basic financial planning concepts, cash flow preparation practices, and simple financial statement simulations. As a result, participants can manage their resources more intelligently, increase operational efficiency, and maximize business investment returns. This training emphasizes resource limitations, such as limited budgets and a lack of experience in financial planning. Moreover, the training focuses on the importance of financial management in business operations through simple transaction recording. In conclusion, this training helps new business owners run their businesses with effective financial management, establishing a solid foundation for achieving success in a competitive business world.

Abstract

A person's speaking style is a manifestation of various individual characteristics that influence the way they convey messages and influence their listeners. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The data source for this research is Ustadzah Halimah Alaydrus's Da'wah Vlog entitled "The World is Still Beautiful as Long as There is a Rasulullah". Data collection techniques in this research used listening and note-taking techniques. This research aims to explore various aspects of Ustazah Halimah Alaydrus' speech style and language style in the context of argument formation, emotional expression, and influence on public opinion on the YouTube platform. The primary focus is to understand how these rhetorical elements play a role in conveying important messages effectively.Keywords: Rhetoric, Style of Speech, Style of Language

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence patient satisfaction and loyalty in regional public hospitals. This study used a survey with 235 participants and used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to get the research results. The results show that the patient is not at all affected by the service quality of RSUD Dr. M. Ashari Pemalang. The happiness of patients at RSUD Dr. M. Ashari Pemalang was influenced by their estimate of hospital prices. The positive corporate image of RSUD Dr. M. Ashari Pemalang is useful for patients in making decisions. RSUD Dr. M. Ashari Pemalang does not care about improving the quality of his services because his patients remain loyal. The impression of a price that benefits patients at RSUD Dr. M. Ashari Pemalang has a direct impact on practice retention rates. There is a positive relationship between the image of RS Dr. M. Ashari Pemalang with patient retention.

Abstract

This quantitative study explores the relationship between online learning service quality, customer satisfaction, and customer retention in the Culinary Study Program during the Covid-19 pandemic. Using data from 217 students in a private university, specifically in Surabaya. The analysis employed in this study is Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to examine the relationship between the research variables, including the measurement model (outer model) for validity and reliability testing, and the structural model (inner model) for hypothesis testing and mediation analysis. The research reveals a significant direct effect of online learning service quality on customer satisfaction. Higher levels of service quality positively impact customer satisfaction, aligning with previous research in e-learning contexts. Additionally, the study establishes a significant indirect effect of online learning service quality on customer retention through customer satisfaction as a mediation variable. Higher customer satisfaction levels lead to increased customer retention in the Culinary Study Program. These findings offer insights for educational institutions to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction, focusing on dimensions such as content, system functionality, and interaction quality. Implementing strategies to prioritize student satisfaction can improve online learning effectiveness during challenging times like the Covid-19 pandemic. Overall, this study contributes to the knowledge of online learning service quality, customer satisfaction, and customer retention, emphasizing the importance of high-quality online learning experiences for student satisfaction and retention in the Culinary Study Program during the Covid-19 pandemic.
