Abstract

This study applies the method of calculating the power of each component before designing the implementation of the instrumentation system for monitoring ISMOTA orchid plants. The instrumentation system in this tool can monitor orchid plants by conditioning the temperature and humidity of the plant's soil. There is also a live stream mode because it uses the ESP32 Cam module. Temperature conditioning is carried out on the DHT22 sensor, conditioning plant moisture as input also from sensor readings carried out by the Soil Moisture sensor. the program module to process all existing inputs using ESP32. The output of this system is in the form of 3 types of actuators such as Fan Dc, Solenoid Valve and also Pump Dc. The system will work when the temperature reaches the normal threshold in the range of 21° - 29° to turn on the Dc Fan as a condition for the temperature around the plant. For humidity, system conditioning will be regulated with the output of the Pump Dc actuator and Selonoid Valve to water the plants so that conditions return to the humidity limit, which is at 80%.

Abstract

Gardu Induk, biasanya disingkat GI, adalah instalasi yang terdiri dari rel daya, peralatan hubung bagi, transformator daya dan perlengkapannya, yang merupakan bagian dari sistem tenaga listrik. Pemisah, sebuah perangkat di gardu induk, bertindak sebagai pendukung operasional. Perawatan berkala diperlukan pada pemisah, yang melibatkan langkah-langkah pembersihan dan pengujian. Salah satu pengujian yang dilakukan adalah mengukur tahanan kontak. Pengujian ini bertujuan untuk menilai tahanan kontak pada pemisah sesuai dengan standar. Tahanan kontak yang lebih tinggi akan mengakibatkan rugi-rugi daya yang lebih besar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membandingkan nilai tahanan kontak dan rugi-rugi daya pada rel 1 dan rel 2 pemisah di trafo bay-1 Gardu Induk Tasikmalaya Baru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan hotspot atau titik panas pada pisau-pisau di PMS fasa S rel 2. Kemudian dilakukan perbaikan hotspot atau titik panas pada pisau-pisau PMS rel 2 fasa S, dimana resistansi kontak sebelum dilakukan perbaikan sebesar 1,349 mΩ dan setelah dilakukan perbaikan menjadi 29,4µΩ.

Abstract

Epilepsy, characterized by recurrent seizures, exhibits changes in brain signals with amplitudes far exceeding normal conditions (up to 800µV versus 5-200µV). The varying phases of seizures (from a few seconds to minutes and accompanied by tonic-clonic seizures) pose a risk, especially in public spaces. In this case, we designed a wearable, portable EEG that provides real-time seizure detection. Our design uses four voltage amplifiers with good accuracy and one filter circuit (differential: 97.83%, non-inverting: 96.92%, 96.5%, and 97.99%). The signal is amplified for detection, then filtered for optimal compatibility with the microcontroller. In addition to amplified brain signals, balance, light, and GPS sensors are used as binary indicators of epileptic conditions. This data is transmitted via the IoT system, showing Quality of Service in the Good and Very Good categories in the parameters Packet Loss, Throughput, Delay and Jitter. It can be concluded that the transmission data system shows data in the good category and jitter value in the very good category.

Abstract

AbstrakTim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang telah mengadakan pelatihan penggunaan Google Drive dan  Google Formulir kepada staff kantor Desa Sungaibuntu Kecamatan Pedes Kabupaten Karawang, agar dapat memberikan layanan yang lebih mudah dan aman untuk masyarakat. Pelatihan ini diadakan karena sistem penyimpanan data desa masih bergantung pada media lokal seperti flashdisk dan hardisk, yang rentan terhadap kehilangan data dan serangan virus. Mitra sasaran dalam pelatihan ini adalah staf kantor Desa Sungaibuntu, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 20 orang yang terlibat aktif selama kegiatan berlangsung. Tim PKM memberikan pelatihan Google Form untuk membantu staff kantor desa mengelola layanan masyarakat di bagian administrasi dengan membuat formulir online yang praktis untuk pendaftaran dan pengumpulan data. Selain itu, pelatihan Google Drive ditujukan untuk memanfaatkan penyimpanan dan cadangan data desa secara cloud, sehingga data dapat diakses dengan mudah dan aman kapan saja dan di mana saja. Metode pelatihan menggabungkan penyampaian materi dengan praktik langsung, yang terbukti efektif dalam membantu peserta memahami dan menerapkan Google Form dan Google Drive dalam tugas sehari-hari. Kata kunci: sosialisasi; pelatihan; google drive; google form. AbstractThe Community Service Team (PKM) Singaperbangsa Karawang University conducted training on the use of Google Drive and Google Forms for the staff of the Sungaibuntu Village Office in Pedes District, Karawang Regency, to enable them to provide easier and safer services to the community. This training was initiated because the village's data storage system still relies on local media such as flash drives and hard disks, which are prone to data loss and virus attacks. The target partners for this training were the staff of the Sungaibuntu Village Office, with 20 participants actively involved throughout the program. The PKM team provided Google Forms training to assist village officials in managing community services in the administrative sector by creating practical online forms for registration and data collection. Additionally, the Google Drive training was aimed at utilizing cloud-based storage and backup for village data, allowing data to be accessed easily and securely anytime and anywhere. The training method combined material delivery with hands-on practice, which proved effective in helping participants understand and apply Google Forms and Google Drive in their daily tasks. Keywords: sosialization; training; google drive; google forms.

Abstract

AbstrakPelatihan Pembuatan Ecobrick sebagai Solusi Cerdas dan Kreatif dalam Mengurangi Sampah Plastik Rumah Tangga di Desa Waluya dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2023 dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 35 orang, menjadi langkah praktis dalam menghadapi meningkatnya permasalahan sampah plastik. Desa Waluya menghadapi tantangan terkait manajemen sampah plastik di tingkat rumah tangga. Pelatihan ini memiliki tujuan yaitu meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat akan dampak negatif sampah plastik dan memberikan keterampilan praktis dalam pembuatan Ecobrick. Selain itu, pendekatan ini dirancang untuk membangkitkan sikap peduli lingkungan dan merangsang kreativitas dalam mengelola sampah plastik. Hasil yang diharapkan mencakup pengurangan signifikan sampah plastik di Desa Waluya. Pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih bersih, berkelanjutan, dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup secara keseluruhan. Dengan demikian, pelatihan Ecobrick di Desa Waluya ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan ecobrick dengan menggunakan botol berukuran 300-600 ml dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif dalam mengelola sampah plastik secara kreatif dan ramah lingkungan. Dengan pendekatan yang tepat dalam komunikasi dan demonstrasi kepada masyarakat, praktik ini memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan partisipasi dalam praktik ramah lingkungan serta pengelolaan sampah plastik di lingkungan sekitar. Kata kunci: ecobrick; sampah plastik; pelatihan; pemberdayaan masyarakat; desa waluya. AbstractThe Ecobrick Making Training as a Smart and Creative Solution to Reduce Household Plastic Waste in Waluya Village was conducted in August 2023 with 35 participants, serving as a practical step in addressing the increasing problem of plastic waste. Waluya Village faces challenges related to plastic waste management at the household level. This training aims to increase community understanding of the negative impacts of plastic waste and provide practical skills in Ecobrick making. Additionally, this approach is designed to foster environmental concern and stimulate creativity in managing plastic waste. The expected outcomes include a significant reduction in plastic waste in Waluya Village. Empowering the community through this training is expected to create a cleaner, more sustainable environment and improve overall quality of life. Thus, the Ecobrick training in Waluya Village demonstrates that using Ecobricks with 300-600 ml bottles can be an effective solution for creatively and environmentally managing plastic waste. Abstract

Traditional hydroponic systems largely rely on manual observation and regulation of essential environmental variables, such as pH, nutrient concentration, temperature, and humidity. This dependence often causes inefficiency, inconsistent crop quality, and greater labor requirements. To overcome these limitations, this study proposes an IoT-based Smart Hydroponic System that integrates fuzzy logic control with computer vision using the SSD MobileNet architecture. The objective of this research is to design and implement an intelligent automation framework capable of improving hydroponic cultivation through continuous data monitoring, analytical decision-making, and autonomous environmental adjustment. Within this framework, fuzzy logic dynamically stabilizes nutrient and pH levels, while the SSD MobileNet model analyzes plant images to classify growth stages and determine harvest readiness. Experimental testing produced an average classification loss of 0.1283, demonstrating reliable detection accuracy. Compared with conventional methods, the proposed integration enhances adaptability, precision, and computational efficiency for edge-level IoT applications. This system introduces a novel and scalable approach to precision agriculture, enabling more effective automation and decision making in hydroponic farming. Future studies are encouraged to expand their implementation to various plant species and adaptive learning models for broader applicability.

Abstract

Peningkatan kebutuhan energi listrik menuntut penggunaan sumber energi terbarukan yang berkelanjutan dan ramah lingkungan. Salah satu solusi yang potensial untuk wilayah pedesaan adalah Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mikrohidro (PLTMH), yang memanfaatkan energi potensial air untuk menghasilkan listrik tanpa emisi karbon secara terus-menerus. Penelitian ini menganalisis dan menyimulasikan rancangan PLTMH di Sungai Damar, Kabupaten Kendal, menggunakan perangkat lunak HOMER-Pro untuk menilai kelayakan teknis dan ekonominya. Metode penelitian mencakup studi literatur debit air, perancangan beban dan sistem suplai mikrohidro, perancangan turbin dan generator berdasarkan potensi daya yang dihitung, serta analisis biaya yang sudah diperhitungkan. Data debit andalan (Q80) sebesar 1.259,88 L/s dan tinggi jatuh efektif 0,3734 meter menghasilkan daya bersih 2,95 kW dengan efisiensi 64%. Simulasi menunjukkan PLTMH dapat beroperasi sepanjang 8.760 jam per tahun, menghasilkan energi tahunan sebesar 27.879 kWh dengan tingkat pemenuhan kebutuhan energi mencapai 100%. Analisis ekonomi menunjukkan biaya energi rata-rata (LCOE) sebesar Rp53,05/kWh dan biaya proyek total (NPC) sebesar Rp30.802.740,00. Sistem ini juga menghasilkan surplus energi tahunan sekitar 25.287 kWh yang dapat diekspor ke jaringan PLN. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa PLTMH di Sungai Damar layak secara teknis dan ekonomis, serta berpotensi menjadi solusi energi terbarukan yang efisien dan berkelanjutan di Kabupaten Kendal.

Abstract

Karang Harum Village, Bekasi Regency, has an abundant potential of rice husk waste; however, its utilization is still limited to low-value burnt husk. Limited technology, low production skills, and the absence of a structured business unit prevent the community—particularly the youth organization—from optimizing the economic value of agricultural waste. This community service program aims to enhance the community’s capacity through briquette production training, the implementation of an automatic electric briquette molding machine, and business management assistance. The activities consist of socialization, technical training, managerial training, technology installation, and a four-month mentoring period. The results indicate a 61.3% improvement in participants’ knowledge, an increase in production capacity from 0 kg to approximately 100 kg per week, and the establishment of a youth-based independent business unit. The implemented technology successfully reduced production time by up to 60% and produced briquettes with more consistent quality standards. This program contributes to income generation, agricultural waste utilization, and the development of village-based renewable energy businesses.

Abstract

Industri manufaktur otomotif memiliki intensitas konsumsi energi listrik yang tinggi, khususnya pada proses pengecoran aluminium menggunakan mesin High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja energi mesin Cold Chamber Aluminium High Pressure Casting (AHPC) 800T menggunakan indikator Specific Energy Consumption (SEC) berdasarkan data pengukuran lapangan aktual. Analisis dilakukan pada satu unit mesin AHPC 800T yang beroperasi pada shift pagi, dengan parameter kelistrikan meliputi daya, energi listrik, arus, dan tegangan. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan total konsumsi energi listrik sebesar 141,25 kWh dengan output produksi 645 unit, sehingga diperoleh nilai SEC rata-rata sebesar 0,219 kWh/unit. Mesin beroperasi pada kisaran daya 20–25 kW saat produksi stabil dan masih mengonsumsi daya 1,4–2,2 kW pada kondisi idle. Analisis berbasis interval waktu menunjukkan bahwa nilai SEC cenderung meningkat pada fase start-up dan transisi proses, sedangkan pada kondisi produksi stabil nilai SEC relatif konsisten. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode SEC efektif digunakan sebagai indikator kinerja energi mesin HPDC dan dapat dijadikan baseline untuk identifikasi peluang peningkatan efisiensi energi.
