Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of the inclusion complex formed between simvastatin and β-cyclodextrin and its derivatives. To determine the level of stability and determine the solubility level of the inclusion complex formed between simvastatin and β-cyclodextrin and its derivatives (2-hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin and 2,6-di-O-methyl-β-cyclodextrin) in water solvent.The method used is qualitative descriptive using the molecular docking method, modeling and anchoring the inclusion complex model.The research results show that the simvastatin/HP-β-CD inclusion complex has a higher level of solubility in water solvents compared to the simvastatin/β-CD and simvastatin/DM-β-CD inclusion complexes, with a ΔGsolvation value of -1032.34 kJ/mol.Conclusion: Simvastatin is able to bind to the cavity of 2-hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin, 2,6-di-O-methyl-β-cyclodextrin, and simvastatin/β-cyclodextrin with the following order of bond strength: simvastatin/2-hydroxypropyl-β -cyclodextrin > simvastatin/2,6-di-O-methyl-β-cyclodextrin > simvastatin/β-cyclodextrin. Abstract

This research aims to show that purple sweet potato leaves can be extracted and made into ice cream to increase the adequacy of breast milk given to postpartum mothers. The research method used was True Experiment and Pretest-Posttest Design with Control. The study results showed a significant difference in the two intervention and control groups in the breast milk adequacy variable, namely baby weight p-value 0.000 and baby BAK (p=0.000). In conclusion, the ice cream intervention with purple sweet potato leaf extract for 14 days was effective in increasing breast milk adequacy compared to the control group. Purple sweet potato leaf extract had a lactogogum effect on postpartum mothers in stimulating breast milk production. Keywords: Breast Milk, Purple Sweet Potato Leaf Extract, Ice Cream, Postpartum

Abstract

Background: One of the roles and functions of being a midwife is as an implementer, in which of being a health worker assisting in delivery assistance and has an important role to facilitate the mother in the successful implementation of Early Breastfeeding Initiation (Inisiasi Menyusui Dini or IMD). Delivery aids are performed by health personnel who possess midwifery competencies in Brebes Regency for about 98.30%. The percentage of early breastfeeding initiation in Brebes was 40.39%. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the determinant factors early breastfeeding initiation (IMD) implemented by midwives working for Public Health Center (Pusat Kesehatan Masyarakat or Puskesmas) in the working area of ??Brebes Regency Health Office. Methods: This type of research is observational research with survey method and cross sectional approach. The research instrument uses a structured questionnaire that has been tested for its validity and reliability. The research also uses bivariate analysis with chi-square test and multivariate analysis with logistic regression test. The sample is 213 respondents of village midwives in Brebes Regency. Results: The results of logistic regression test showed that the variables affecting the implementation of early breastfeeding initiation were midwife age (OR 0.026 CI 95% 0,0050-0,14), training (OR 2.77 CI 95% 1,29-5,97 ) and duration of work (OR 9.63 CI 95% 3.85-24.1). While the factors that are not related to the implementation of IMD is the attitude, refreshing training, support, and policy superiors. Conclusion: It can be concluded that the most influential variable on initiation of early breastfeeding is length of work (OR 9.63 CI 95% 3,85-24,1).

Abstract

Abstract Pertuni member data (Indonesian Blind Union) of Central Java has not been managed well, so when the institution requesting the data for researching and empowering for the blind within the country or abroad, Pertuni party can not give the accurate data. Information delivery is still using the letter sent through post office which will take a long time, so it will often lead the miscommunication and delay of the information between the board and members of the branch. The purpose of this activity is the provision of facilities supporting media data management and information dissemination member of Pertuni Central Java so it will have the better management. Abstract

AbstractIn policy implementation, constraints are often found. Each region varies according to the context of the society it faces. East Java still has significant Mother Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) of the low quality of public health, especially in the horseshoe area covering the islands of Madura, Pasuruan, Probolinggo, Situbondo, Bondowoso and Jember. To analyze the policy implementation process, researchers use 5C's Protocol. The results showed that, among the 5 C's which is contained in Content, Context, Commitment, Capacity and Client & Coalition, the Public Health Service as the main actor influences the role of successful implementation of policies and programs. Through the 5C's analysis all stages of the policy process become clear. Beginning the determination of policy issues, implementation methods, monitoring and evaluation of MMR and MMR reduction policies can be explained and illustrated. The existence of a strong line relationship between the five C that will be seen that greatly affect the implementation process of decline policy in MMR and IMR in East Java province. This means that the implementation declining policy of MMR and IMR in East Java through innovation of local government actors and stakeholder involvement encourages the successful implementation of this policy.

Abstract

Background: The outbreak of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been designated by WHO as a pandemic, causing health services to be significantly disrupted and delayed globally, especially the implementation of the antenatal class. The participation of pregnant women in antenatal classes in Semarang City is only around 25% of the total number of the public health center in the Semarang city area during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021. There is need a for media innovation in the antenatal class during the pandemic so that antenatal class can still be carried out safely during the COVID-19 pandemic.Purpose: To produce an antenatal class application that can facilitate pregnant women to attend antenatal classes virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic and test the implementation effect of the application on the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of pregnant women. Methods: This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method, divided into five stages (Data Collection, Product Design, Design Validation, Design Revision, and Product Trial).Results: An application has been created named PiCCa (Pregnancy Class Center); the test result is feasible to use with a result of 82% and can be used as antenatal class media with a result of 4.32 (p=0.000). The implementation of the PiCCa application can increase knowledge from 12.8 to 18.13 (p=0.000), attitude from 65.36 to 92.3 (p=0.000), and behavior of pregnant women from 19.53 to 32.2 (p=0.000).Conclusion: The PiCCa application is feasible and can be used as an online media for antenatal classes during the COVID-19 pandemic, and its application has a significant effect on increasing the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of pregnant women.

Abstract

Background: Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder in which the body does not produce enough insulin or the glucose level in the blood exceeds the normal limit, which is 130 mg/dL for fasting blood sugar levels. There are 4 pillars of management of type 2 diabetes mellitus, including nutrient therapy and pharmacology. Diabetic patients can apply nutrient therapy by adjusting the diet with the 3J principles (amount, schedule, and type). Pharmacological therapy can be carried out by routinely taking antidiabetic drugs according to the recommended dosage. Objective: The aim of the study was to describe dietary compliance and fasting blood sugar levels in people with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Method: This type of research is a quantitative pre-experimental study with one group pre-test-post-test design, with 34 using a purposive sampling method. The instrument in this study used MMAS-8. Result: The results of the univariate analysis showed that most of the research respondents were women (55.9%) with an age range of 61-70 years (64.7%), last education level was high school (47.1%), privately owned employees (55.9%), and duration of suffering from DM 5 years (100%). Conclusion: A significant relationship exists between diet adherence and fasting blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Conclusion: Based on this research, it is expected that people with type 2 diabetes mellitus can apply a good diet pattern and regularly consume anti-diabetic drugs according to the recommendations of health workers.

Abstract

Background: Untreated pregnancy anxiety can have a significant impact on the pregnancy and postpartum outcomes. Causing mental disorders during pregnancy has an increased risk and adverse effects on the mother and fetus. Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) can increase awareness about the function of thought patterns in daily activities and is able to control awareness of thoughts, feelings and body gestures that can affect anxiety levels and cortisol hormones in the body. This study aimed to examine the effect MBCT to reduce anxiety in 3rd trimester of pregnant women. Subjects and Method: This was a randomized controlled trial. A sample of 20 pregnant women divided into two groups. Intervention group was MBCT with 8 sessions for 30 minutes each session within a period of 2 weeks. The control group was health education and usual care. The dependent variable was anxiety. The independent variable was MBCT. Anxiet was measured using HARS questionnaires. Difference of anxiety between groups were tested using independent t-test. Results: Mean of anxiety score in the MBCT group (Mean= 16.40; SD= 4.01) was lower than in the control group (Mean= 23.60; SD= 7.37), and it was statistically significant (p = 0.015). Abstract

Salah satu masalah yang terjadi pada masa nifas adalah kegagalan involusi uterus (subinvolusi uterus). Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa yoga pada masa nifas dapat memperlancar proses involusi uterus dan meningkatkan hormon oksitosin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektivitas postnatal yoga dengan media video terhadap involusi uterus dan kadar hormon oksitosin pada ibu postpartum multipara dibandingkan dengan kelompok mobilisasi dini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi experimental dengan pre-test post-test control group design. Jumlah sampel 32 sampel dengan 16 sampel dialokasikan pada kelompok intervensi dan 16 sampel pada kelompok kontrol. Kelompok intervensi diberikan postnatal yoga dengan media video 1 kali perhari dengan durasi 30 menit sedangkan kelompok kontrol mobilisasi dini, keduanya diberikan selama 10 hari. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon, Mann Whitney, Friedman dan Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata penurunan TFU pada hari ke-4 postpartum sebanyak 5,87 cm pada kelompok intervensi dan 4,57 cm pada kelompok kontrol (p=0,000). Rerata penurunan TFU pada postpartum hari ke-7 sebanyak 3,94 cm pada kelompok intervensi dan 2,63 cm pada kelompok kontrol (p=0,000). Rerata penurunan TFU postpartum hari ke-10 sebanyak 2,73 cm dan 4,09 cm pada kelompok kontrol (p=0,004). Terdapat perbedaan jenis lochea yang bermakna pada pengukuran hari ke-4, hari ke-7 dan hari ke-10 pada kelompok postnatal yoga dan kelompok mobilisasi dini. Terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna peningkatan kadar hormon oksitosin pada kelompok intervensi (p=0,001) dan tidak terdapat perbedaan pada kelompok kontrol (p=0,897). Pemberian postnatal yoga dengan media video dapat mempercepat involusi uterus dan meningkatkan kadar hormon oksitosin

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of black garlic extract nano particle supplementation on blood pressure and glutathione (GSH) levels in pregnant women with gestational hypertension. This research method uses a True Experiment with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design consisting of 2 groups, namely the intervention group consisting of 16 people. The results of the study showed a p-value = 0.000 (p <0.05) which means that black garlic extract supplementation is effective in reducing blood pressure and increasing glutathione (GSH) levels in pregnant women with gestational hypertension. In conclusion, black garlic extract nanoparticles are effective in lowering blood pressure and increasing glutathione (GSH) levels in pregnant women with gestational hypertension.
