Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the Guided Question method to improve students' literacy skills in SMP Negeri 6 Banda Aceh. This study uses quantitative, experimental research methods that are of the type of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data collection consists of pretest and posttest data on scientific literacy on the application of the Guided Inquiry method. Analysis of literacy data is calculated by using the Independent Sample T-test and the Mann-Withney U test. Data obtained from the test of two different parametric means by paired t-test (Independent Sample T-test) class posttest Research Method Inquiry with the Conventional Method class with grade significance of 0.00 considers differences in posttest perception Guided Inquiry Method with Conventional Method classes and two mean difference test with non-parametric test (Mann-Whithney test) n-gain score of research with n-gain control support significance of 0.04 with a significance level of 0 , 05 shows a difference of two on average because it is less than 0.05 or there is an increase in students' literacy skills in the material structure and function of planting with learning using the Guided Inquiry method and increasing learning competence in learning using Conventional methods. The experimental class with initial ability 27.34 and 51.70 final ability while the control class with initial ability 30.80 and 39.17 final ability with an increase in experimental class by 45% and control class 16%. Conclusions agreed that the application of the Inquiry Learning method could significantly increase literacy in SMP Negeri 6 Banda Aceh.Keywords: Guided Inquiry Method, Science Literacy Pelaksanaan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode Guided Inquiry dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa di SMP Negeri 6 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan Experimental sebagai metode penelitiannya yang berjenis Pretes-Posttest Control Group Design. Pengumpulan data berupa data pretes dan posttest literasi sains terhadap penerapan metode Guided Inquiry. Analisis data literasi sains dihitung dengan uji Independent Sample T-test dan uji Mann-Withney U. Data yang didapat dari uji perbedaan dua rerata parametrik dengan uji-t berpasangan (Independent Sample T-test) posttes kelas Metode Guided Inquiry dengan kelas Metode Konvensional dengan taraf signifikansi 0,00 bermaksudkan bahwa adanya perbedaan posttest Metode Guided Inquiry dengan kelas Metode Konvensional dan uji perbedaan dua rerata dengan uji non-parametrik (uji Mann-Whithney) skor n-gain eksperimen dengan n-gain kontrol memiliki signifikansi 0,04 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 menunjukkan adanya perbedaan dua rata-rata karena kurang dari 0,05 atau adanya peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains siswa pada materi struktur dan fungsi tumbuhan dengan pembelajaran menggunakan metode Guided inquiry dan memiliki perbedaan nyata peningkatan pada kelas pembelajaran menggunakan metode Konvensional. Kelas eksperimen secara berurutan kemampuan awal 27,34 dan 51,70 kemampuan akhir sedangkan kelas kontrol memiliki kemampuan awal 30,80 dan 39,17 kemampuan akhir dengan peningkatan kelas eksperimen sebesar 45% dan kelas kontrol 16%. Kesimpulan menyatakan penerapan metode Pembelajaran Guided Inquiry dapat meningkatkan literasi sains secara signifikan di SMP Negeri 6 Banda Aceh.Kata Kunci: Metode Guided Inquiry, Literasi Sains

Abstract

ABSTRACTInsulin hormone deficiency is a cause of diabetes mellitus or diabetes. Research with the aim to determine the effect of giving senggani leaf extract (Melastoma affine D.Don) on the body weight of white rats (Rattus norvegicus L.). Research using an experimental method using RAL design consisted of six treatments and four replications. These treatments were normal, positive control (given glibenclamide), negative control (given Na-CMC), P1 (concentration 30%), P2 (concentration 60%) and P3 (concentration 90%) with observation time for 21 days. Data were analyzed by Analysis of Variants (ANAVA) and carried out further tests namely Duncan's Real Distance Test (JNTD). The results showed that administration of senggani leaf extract with nanoemulsion affected the body weight of rats for 21 days with Fcount (145,456) Ftable (2.77). It can be concluded that administration of nanoemulsion extract of senggani leaves influences the body weight of rats. Keywords: Diabetes Melitus, Senggani Leaves, Rattus norvegicus L.ABSTRAKKekurangan hormon insulin merupakan penyebab terjadinya penyakit Diabetes Melitus atau penyakit gula. Riset dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekstrak daun senggani (Melastoma affine D.Don) terhadap berat badan tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus L.). Riset dengan metode eksperimental menggunakan desaign RAL terdiri atas enam perlakuan dan empat ulangan. Perlakuan tersebut adalah kelompok normal, kontrol positif (diberikan glibenklamid), kontrol negatif (diberikan Na-CMC), P1 (konsentrasi 30%), P2 (konsentrasi 60%) dan P3 (konsentrasi 90%) dengan waktu pengamatan selama 21 hari. Data dianalisis dengan Analisis Varian (ANAVA) dan dilakukan uji lanjut yaitu Uji Jarak Nyata Duncan (JNTD). Hasil riset menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak daun senggani dengan nanoemulsi berpengaruh terhadap berat badan tikus tikus selama 21 hari dengan nilai Fhitung (145,456) Ftabel (2,77). Dapat disimpulkann bahwa pemberiann ekstrak nanoemulsi daun senggani berpengaruhh terhadapp berat badan tikus. Kata Kunci: Diabetes Melitus, Daun Senggani, Rattus norvegicus L.

Abstract

Research entitled "Diversity of bird species in paddy habitat in Alus-alus of Simeulue Regency". The purpose of this study was to study the types and levels of variation of bird species in their paddy habitat and dominance. The method applied in this study is the IPA (Point Abundance Index) method, which is by collecting the types of birds found in each observation area. The parameters examined in this study are the types of birds, the index of variation and the dominant bird species in paddy habitat in Alus-alus Village, Simeulue Regency. Analysis of the data in this study using the Shannon-Weaver collection index formula, analyzed in full and explained with tables and graphs. The results of this study are approximately 22 species of birds from 16 families. The level of variation of bird species found in paddy habitat in the Alus-alus Village Region of Simeulue Regency is classified as moderate with its diversity index being H '= 2.9492. The types of birds that dominate in the habitat of paddy are Lonchura maja birds. The conclusion in this study is the index in the habitat of paddy fields with H '= 2.3542. The type of bird that denies in the paddy habitat that was moved by the Lonchura maja bird. Keywords: Bird diversity, species, habitat.Penelitian yang berjudul “Keanekaragaman Jenis-jenis burung pada habitat persawahan di Kawasan Desa Alus-alus Kabupaten Simeulue”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari jenis-jenis dan tingkat variasi jenis burung di habitat persawahan dan dominansinya. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode IPA (Indeks Point Abundance), ialah dengan melakukan pendataan jenis-jenis burung yang dijumpai pada setiap kawasan pengamatan. Parameter yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini ialah jenis-jenis burung, Indeks variasi dan jenis burung dominan di habitat persawahan di Desa Alus-alus, Kabupaten Simeulue. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan rumus indeks koleksi Shannon-Weaver, dianalisis secara lengkap dan diterangkan dengan bentuk tabel dan grafik. Hasil penelitian ini ialah kira-kira 22 jenis burung dari 16 famili. Tingkat variasi jenis burung yang terdapat di habitat persawahan di Kawasan Desa Alus-alus Kabupaten Simeulue tergolong sedang dengan indeks keanekaragamannya adalah H '= 2,9492. Jenis-jenis burung yang mendominansi di habitat Persawahan ialah burung Lonchura maja. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah indeks pada habitat Persawahan dengan H '= 2.3542. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan proses sains siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung (Direct Instruction) dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada materi pengklasifikasian phylum arthropoda. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain kontrol grup tes awal dan tes akhir. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan pada kelas X1 menggunakan model pembelajaran direct instruction dan kelas X2 menggunakan model konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes pemahaman konsep, keterampilan proses sains dan angket. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan tes kemampuan awal siswa (pretes), tes kemampuan akhir siswa (postes), data peningkatan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan proses sains (N-Gain), dan data tanggapan siswa terhadap model pembelajaran direct instruction yang diukur dengan angket. Hasil uji statistik untuk pemahaman konsep diperoleh hasil t-hitung 5,734, sedangkan untuk keterampilan proses sains diperoleh hasil t-hitung 24,90 dengan nilai t-tabel 1,645. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat peningkatan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan proses sains siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran direct instruction dengan siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Langsung (Direct Instruction), Pemahaman Konsep, dan Keterampilan Proses Sains. This study aimed at improving students’ understanding of science concepts and processing skills by implementing Direct Instruction model and conventional learning model on the classification of the phylum arthropods material. This study used experimental method with pre-test and post-test control group design. It has been conducted at class X1 as experimental class (implementing Direct Instruction) and class X2 as control class (implementing conventional learning model). The data were collected by pre-test and post-test, and also test of science processing skills as well as questionnaires. The improvement of students’ understanding of science concepts and processing skills were analyzed by using N-Gain, while the data of students’ response toward the implementation of direct instruction were measured by using questionnaire. The result of t-test for students’ understanding of the concept was 5.734, whereas for science processing skills the t-test was 24.90 with the t-table 1.645. The conclusion was that there was improvement on students’ understanding of science concepts and processing skills that were taught by using direct instruction model compare to those who were taught by using conventional learning model. Abstract

This study was designed to determine the effort of learning through constructivism-based module to overcome student’s misconceptions of Cell concept in SMAN 2 Sabang. The data collection was conducted in 2016, July to August. The method used in this research was quasi-experimental with one group pretest posttest design. The research was conducted in three classes, i.e. XI IA 1, 2 and 3 with 80 students in total. The instrument used was constructivism-based module and pretest-posttest diagnostic tests with CRI answer sheet to assess the comprehension levels of students. Data was analyzed using the percentage formula. Analysis for student’s comprehension showed 69.20% students understand the concept, 25.65% didn’t understand the concept and 5.15% of students experiencing misconceptions. It was concluded that learning through constructivism-based module was effective in order to overcome student’s misconceptions of cell concepts in SMAN 2 Sabang.

Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul “Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw Pada Konsep Sistem Pencernaan Makanan Manusia Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Sakti Kabupaten Pidie” telah dilakukan pada bulan Mei. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes objektif berupa tes pilihan ganda. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan pretest dan postest. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan mencari N-gain dan membandingkan N-gain kelas eksperimen dengan N-gain kelas kontrol. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan ujit independent sample test. Hasil uji statistik untuk hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan hasil thitung 12,13 dengan ttabel 1,645. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar pada siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw dengan siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional di SMA Negeri 1 Sakti Kabupaten Pidie. Kata Kunci: Kooperatif Jigsaw dan Hasil Belajar The research entitled “The Implementation of Jigsaw Cooperative Models in the Concept of Human Digestive Systems on Learning Outcomes of Senior High School Students” was carried out from April to May, 2013 at Public Senior High School (SMAN 1) Sakti, Pidie district. This research aimed at identifying the different of students’ learning outcomes taught using Jigsaw Cooperative and Conventional Teaching Models. The method used in this study was experimental methods using pretest-posttest control group design. The instrument used in this study was an objective test with multiple choice items. The data were obtained from pre-tests, post-tests, and questionnaires. They were then analyzed by using N-gain. The N-gain from experimental class was compared to the control class. After that, t-test was calculated (independent sample test). The statistical result of students’ learning shows that tcount > ttable (12.13 > 1.645). The conclusion of this research was that there were differences between learning outcomes of students who have been taught using Jigsaw Cooperative Teaching Models, and students who were taught using Conventional Teaching Models at SMAN 1 (Public Senior High School) Sakti, Pidie District. Abstract

The learning process has not emphasized the development of skills; this is because in learning students tend to memorize concepts so that learning outcomes and self-efficacy are not trained optimally. The formulation of the problem in this study is: is there a difference in learning outcomes and student self-efficacy between the use of the Problem Base Learning model combined with the E-STEM-based Student Worksheet with the Problem Base Learning model on environmental pollution material at MAN Banda Aceh? This research is quantitative with an experimental research approach. The research design used was pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study was all students of class X MAN 3 Banda Aceh, totaling 84. The sampling technique used a total sampling of 84 students. The instrument used to measure learning outcomes is multiple choice questions using 30 questions and self-efficacy is measured using a questionnaire. Data analysis of learning outcomes and self-efficacy of students using independent sample t-test at a significant level of 0.05. The results showed that there were differences in student learning outcomes and self-efficacy after applying the Problem Base Learning model combined with the E-STEM-based Student Worksheet on environmental pollution materials at MAN Banda Aceh

Abstract

The presence of vegetation in an area will positively impact the balance of the ecosystem on a broader scale. Herbs play an important role in maintaining vegetation conditions and cycling of plant growth in an area. The study aimed to determine the composition of vegetation, important values , and diversity index (Ĥ) of herbs in the Putroe Aloeh Tourism Area, Jeumpa District, and Southwest Aceh District. The method used is the observation method with the subjective determination of stations and plots using the quadratic method. Research stations as many as seven include; the downstreams left side of the river, the downstream right side of the river, the left middle side of the river, the middle right side, of the river the upstream left side of the river, the upstream right side of the river, and the surrounding forest. Each station is placed in 10 square plots measuring 2 x 2 m. Parameters observed include; absolute density (KM) of species, absolute frequency (FM) of species, and absolute dominance (DM) of species. Data analysis included the Important Value (IV) of species’ Important Value (IV) y Index (Ĥ). Based on the research results, it is known that there are 50 herb species consisting of 26 families. The dominating family is Asteraceae (20%). The species with the highest category of importance value was Selaginella doederleinii (IV = 48.48), while the species with the lowest category were Emilia sonchifolia and Cyperus strigosus (IV = 0.16). The diversity index of herbaceous species at the study site was medium (Ĥ= 2.43).

Abstract

Abstrack The existence of plants in an area or area will have a positive impact on the balance of the ecosystem. Herbaceous plants play an important role in the annual nutrient cycle, namely the herb litter that is returned to the soil contains high nutrients and plays a role in adding soil organic matter so that it can prevent erosion. The purpose of this study was to determine the composition of medicinal plants in the Putroe Aloeh Tourism Area, Jeumpa District, Southwest Aceh District. The method used in this study is the observation method by determining stations using purposive sampling technique and plot placement using the square method subjectively, where at each station there are 10 plots measuring 2m x 2m. Parameters observed were the number of species and the number of individuals of each species. The research data were analyzed descriptively. Based on the research results, 50 types of herbs were found consisting of 26 families, and the dominating families were Asteraceae (20%), Rubiaceae (10%), and Araceae (8%).Keywords: Herbs, Compositon, Tourism Area Abstrak Keberadaan tumbuhan di suatu wilayah atau kaawasan dapat berdampak positif terhadap keadaan dinamis pada ekosistem. Tumbuhan herba sangat berperan terhadap putaran waktu hara tahunan, yaitu serasah herba yang dipulangkan ke tanah memuat unsur hara yang tinggi dan mempunyai peran pada penambahan bahan organik tanah sehingga bisa berfungsi sebagai pencegahan erosi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui komposisi tumbuhan herba di Kawasan Wisata Putroe Aloeh Kecamatan Jeumpa Kabupaten Aceh Barat Daya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni metode observasi dengan menentukan stasiun menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan penempatan plot menggunakan metode kuadrat secara subyektif, dimana pada setiap stasiun terdapat 10 plot yang berukuran 2m x 2m. Parameter yang diamati adalah jumlah spesies dan jumlah individu masing-masing spesies. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan 50 jenis herba yang terdiri dari 26 familia, dan familia yang mendominasi adalah Asteraceae (20%), Rubiaceae (10%), dan Araceae (8%).Kata Kunci: Herba, Komposisi, Kawasan Wisata.

Abstract

Self-efficacy memiliki kontribusi penting dalam proses pembelajaran karena dapat digunakan sebagai prediktor kinerja belajar siswa. Self-efficacy mampu merangsang motivasi, proses kognitif, aktivitas, prestasi dan ketekunan siswa. Kurangnya kemampuan efikasi diri merupakan salah satu masalah yang sering terjadi dalam pembelajaran. Permasalahan ini dapat diatasi melalui penerapan media pembelajaran seperti penggunaan modul inovatif. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan modul pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap efikasi diri dan hasil belajar siswa. Selain itu juga bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara efikasi diri dengan hasil belajar akibat penerapan modul pembelajaran berbasis masalah materi sistem pencernaan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2020/2021 di sebuah sekolah menengah atas di Kabupaten Aceh Barat, Aceh, Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain pretest posttest non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian adalah 93 siswa (total sampling). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari angket efikasi diri dan tes kognitif materi sistem pencernaan. Data efikasi diri dan hasil belajar dianalisis dengan uji statistik parametrik menggunakan analisis kovarians, sedangkan efikasi diri dianalisis menggunakan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan modul pembelajaran berbasis masalah berpengaruh terhadap efikasi diri dan hasil belajar siswa. Selain itu, analisis korelasi menunjukkan bahwa r hitung r tabel (0,7277 0. 2461) yang mengartikan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara efikasi diri dengan hasil belajar siswa. Efikasi diri berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa: semakin tinggi efikasi diri maka hasil belajar akan semakin tinggi
