Abstract

Unmanned aircraft or known as UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) is an aircraft technology that is controlled ly by the operator using  Control. The thrust is determined according to the needs of the aircraft itself. This study uses a thrust test stand that uses a mass measuring device as a measuring force, using a brushless motor and 3 different types of propellers, namely propeller two with a size of 8 x 4 inches and 10 x 7 inches, three propellers with a size of 6 x 3 inc to determine the optimal thrust for missions flying -controlled model aircraft (UAV). After testing, it was found that the smallest thrust force of the 6x3 inch blade type propeller, on this type of propeller only 3,874 N of thrust is produced at 100% throttle percentage and uses a 3 cell battery. While the greatest thrust generated from the propeller with a type of two when 10x7 inches, on this propeller and using a 4 cell battery can produce a Thrust of 13,194 N with a percentage of full throttle or 100%. The thrust required for the aircraft to fly cruising in the air is 0.806 N, while the thrust required for the aircraft to take off is 6.513 N.Keywords: Control Model Aircraft, Propeller, Thrust

Abstract

AI Company is a producer of agro-industrial products. Products produced from the agricultural industry, for example vegetables, fruit and so on. These products are easily damaged. Therefore, the transportation system for product distribution needs to be carried out in the shortest possible time. Besides that, vehicle use produces air pollution and greenhouse gases which trigger global warming. This research proposes the Sweep and Nearest-Neighbor methods to minimize vehicle route distances in distributing products from AI companies to various customers. By minimizing the distance traveled, it is hoped that it can also contribute to reducing CO2 emissions. The Sweep method is intended to cluster destination locations and the Nearest-Neighbor algorithm is used to get the shortest route so that the shortest distance is obtained. From the results of this study, before optimization, the usual delivery distance for goods carried out by AI companies was 10,077.00 km and decreased to 9,286.00 km per year after optimization. The CO2 emissions per year before optimization were 2147.95 kgCO2e, while after optimizing the distance traveled, CO2 emissions decreased to 1979.13 kgCO2e.

Abstract

Akibat banyaknya masyarakat yang berusaha beternak masalah yang ditimbulkan adalah penyediaan bibit , selama ini penyediaan bibit sangat minim dan menyebabkan fluktuasinya sehingga menyebabkan terganggunya usaha peternak telur puyuh terhadap masyarakat dan permasalahan lainnya yang ditimbulkan, jadi salah satu upaya yang ditembuh untuk mengatasinya dengan merancang salah satu alat yang dinamakan dengan Inkubator, yang berfungsi sebagai pengganti Induknya, sistem Inkubator ini sendiri menggunakan energi pemanas yang berasal dari energi listrik, kajian ini menggunakan beberapa lampu dan kawat kasa yang berbeda, adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan sistem pemanas yang seragam dalam ruang Inkubator, pengujian yang dilakukan pada peralatan ini dengan menggunakan lampu pijar dengan ukuran dan jumlah yang bervariasi, dari hasil analisa data dan grafik dapat diketahui bahwa menggunakan enam lampu layak digunakan untuk penetasan dan proses perpindahan panas sudah mulai stabil dan merata, temperatur ruangan sudah mencapai temperatur standarisasi berkisar antara 39 0C sampai dengan 40 0C maka efisiensi penetasan telur puyuh semakin meningkat, dari enam lampu pijar dengan masing-masing 40 watt maka diperoleh energi totalnya sebesar 2,879 kkal/kgmol. Kata kunci —  Inkubator, Lampu Pijar,  Temperatur, Telur Puyuh

Abstract

This study aims to look at the performance of the solar water heater collector with the addition of a reflector. Reflector is used to increase the absorption of solar radiation. The test was carried out by varying the water flow rate in the pipe, namely 75 l/hour, 150 l/hour and 225 l/hour with a collector tilt angle of 30°. Tests are carried out every one hour, starting at 09.00-16.00 WIB for each variation. Parameters measured in this study included glass temperature, inlet water temperature, outlet water temperature, pipe temperature, absorber temperature, ambient temperature and wind speed. The results showed that the highest efficiency occurred at a flow rate of 225 l/hour, which was 62.44% at IT 3,366 MJ/m2, and the highest ratio of outlet water temperature and inlet water temperature was 1.51 at a flow rate of 75l/h. Adding a reflector to the coverslip can increase collector efficiency.

Abstract

The finned drive wheel technology is widely used for wet rice fields. Currently, finned drive wheels for peat fields have not been developed and still use traditional agricultural tools such as hoes and sickles, while the finned drive wheels for wet rice fields are not yet able to work optimally on peat rice fields. The driving wheel model and testing in peat rice fields were carried out in this research. Design and manufacturing were carried out by referring to previous research literature. This initial research was carried out in wet rice fields on open-close finned drive wheels and standard finned wheels, with the aim of measuring the comparative level of performance of the two wheel models. The wheel performance measured is sinkage and wheel rotational speed. The research produced two models of driving wheels, namely the standard fin type with a driving wheel diameter of 35 cm and a number of 8 fins and the open-close fin type producing a driving wheel diameter of 40 cm with 4 arcuate fins on the top surface of the driving wheel. Standard fin type drive wheels have smaller sinkage (11% on average) compared to open-close fin type wheels. The finned drive wheel with the open-close type has an average speed level that is 27.7% higher when compared to the standard finned type.Keywords – wheel drive, standard fins, open-close fins, sinkage, wheel speed

Students' personal and character development relies heavily on education. An important aspect of education is the development of self-control, which is the foundation for a child's ability to control their emotions, behave appropriately, and make educated decisions. Students' academic and social success are significantly impacted by self-control, which is a key indicator of long-term success. The point of this exploration is to figure out how the impact of Islamic strict training instructors at SD Negeri 1 Tanah Luas has on understudies' discretion. Abstract

This aims of study were design and create an android-based lung disease screening expert system and patient early warning using the forward chaining method at Waluyo Jati Kraksaan Hospital. This study used a mixed methods approach, namely descriptive qualitative and quantitative descriptive. In this descriptive qualitative research design used case study and the quantitative descriptive research design uses a survey. This research used the forward chaining method and model development using the Waterfall model. Based on the accuracy test table, it can be concluded that the Android-based lung disease diagnosis expert system uses the Forward chaining method. The ISO/IEC 9126 standard test uses two aspects, namely the usability aspect of 83.45% and the Functionality aspect of 85.1%. The certainly factor for the confidence value can be identified quite well. This is evidenced by the results of testing the system accuracy of 96.43%. An Android-based lung diagnostic expert system was built to provide identification conclusions in accordance with the thoughts of an expert, namely a lung specialist.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas evaluasi kinerja pemasok solder pasta untuk perusahaan elektronika dengan menggunakan metode Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Solder pasta, sebagai material utama dalam proses chip mounting, memegang peranan penting dalam menentukan kualitas sambungan antara komponen elektronik dan papan sirkuit cetak (PCB). Oleh karena itu, pemilihan pemasok yang tepat sangat krusial untuk menjaga kualitas produk akhir. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menilai empat pemasok solder pasta berdasarkan tiga kriteria utama: ketepatan pengiriman, harga produk, dan kualitas produk. Metode AHP digunakan untuk menimbang bobot masing-masing kriteria dan menentukan peringkat kinerja pemasok secara objektif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ketepatan pengiriman dan kualitas produk adalah kriteria yang paling penting, sementara harga produk berada di posisi ketiga. Dari hasil evaluasi, pemasok B dinyatakan sebagai pemasok terbaik, diikuti oleh pemasok C, D, dan A. Keputusan ini diambil berdasarkan hasil perhitungan bobot dan skor yang konsisten. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pemilihan pemasok yang tepat untuk menghindari masalah kualitas produk dan memastikan efisiensi dalam proses produksi. Dengan metode AHP, perusahaan dapat melakukan penilaian kinerja pemasok secara lebih terstruktur dan terukur, membantu pengambilan keputusan yang lebih tepat dalam manajemen rantai pasok

Abstract

     THE USE OF ALPHA LIPOIC ACID AS TAU PROTEIN DEGENERATION INHIBITOR ON PREVENCE CHRONIC TRAUMATIC ENCEPHALOPATHYABSTRACTIntroduction: Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) is progressive neurodegenerative syndrome caused by repeated blunt object injury affects the head. This condition results in degeneration of tau, a protein that can help stabilize and support certain structures in brain’s cells, including internal transport system of the brain’s cell. Repeated injuries cause the degeneration of tau proteins that proteins misfold and change their form and then become free radicals cause neuron death. Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is one of the antioxidant can bind free radicals and regenerate antioxidant vitamin C, vitamin E, and coenzyme Q10.Aim: To exam the effectiveness of alpha lipoic acid to inhibit the degeneration of tau protein in immunohistochemistry experimental animals’s brain.Methods: Experimental study in vivo of CTE model in rat by dropped 245g load on the head at 35cm height. 28 rats were randomly assigned to 7 groups; normal group without treatment, negative control group is given NaCl 0.9% 1.5mL, positive control group is given citicholine 6.75mg, group A is given ALA 1.0125mg, group B is given ALA 2.025mg, group C is given ALA 4.05mg, group D is given ALA 8.1mg and received 30 days CTE treatment. Experiment was conducted in May 2017 at Medical Faculty University of Jember. Tau protein degeneration were scored immunohistochemically.Results: Group D showed the closest to normal, while group A showed most tau protein degeneration (190.25±26.89) compared to normal group (53.25±43.39). Group D also showed lower tau protein score compared to positive control significantly.Discussion: Alpha lipoic acid is able to inhibit the progression of tau protein degeneration on immunohistochemistry staining of animal’s brains in CTE model.Keyword: Alpha lipoic acid, chronic traumatic encephalopathy, tau proteinABSTRAKPendahuluan: Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) adalah sindrom neurodegeneratif progresif akibat cedera berulang benda tumpul yang mengenai kepala. Cedera berulang tersebut menyebabkan degenerasi protein tau, yaitu protein yang dapat membantu menstabilkan dan mendukung struktur tertentu dalam sel otak, termasuk sel dari sistem transportasi internal. Akibatnya, protein tau gagal melipat dan mengubah bentuk, sehingga menjadi radikal bebas yang dapat menye- babkan kematian neuron. Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) adalah salah satu senyawa antioksidan yang mampu mengikat radikal bebas dan meregenerasi antioksidan vitamin C, vitamin E, dan koenzim Q 10.Tujuan: Mengetahui efektivitas pemberian alpha lipoic acid dalam menghambat progresivitas degenerasi protein tau pada gambaran imunohistokimia otak hewan coba.Metode: Studi eksperimental in vivo model CTE pada tikus dengan dijatuhi beban 245g di kepala pada ketinggian35cm. Terdapat 28 tikus yang dibagi menjadi 7 kelompok, yaitu: kelompok normal tanpa perlakuan, kelompok kontrol (-) diberikan NaCl 1,5mL, kontrol (+) diberikan sitikolin 6,75mg, kelompok A diberikan ALA 1,0125mg, kelompok B diberi- kan ALA 2,025mg, kelompok C diberikan ALA 4,05mg, serta kelompok D diberikan ALA 8,1mg dan mendapat perlakuan CTE selama 30 hari. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2017 di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Jember. Pemeriksaan skor degenerasi protein tau berdasarkan gambaran imunohistokimia.Hasil: Kelompok D dengan dosis tertinggi 8,1mg merupakan gambaran degenerasi protein tau paling sedikit mendekati normal, sedangkan kelompok A dengan dosis terendah 1,0125mg merupakan gambaran degenerasi protein tau paling banyak (190,25±26,89), jauh lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok normal (53,25±43,39). Demikian pula kelompok D dengan kontrol positif menunjukkan skor degenerasi protein tau kelompok D lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan kontrol positif secara bermakna.Diskusi: Pemberian ALA dosis tinggi mampu menghambat progresivitas degenerasi protein tau pada gambaran imunohistokimia otak hewan coba yang mengalami cedera kepala berulang.Kata kunci: Alpha lipoic acid, chronic traumatic encephalopathy, protein tau

Abstract

Pemberian pakan secara manual sering kali kurang efisien dan mengakibatkan pakan terbuang percuma. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan memfasilitasi penerapan teknologi automatic fish feeder (feederku) bagi para pembudidaya ikan nila di Kecamatan Beutong Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode pendampingan, dengan tahapan kegiatannya meliputi: (1) identifikasi kebutuhan; (2) pendampingan inovasi feederku. Kegiatan pendampingan dilakukan selama 2 bulan, meliputi pelatihan cara membuat, pengoperasian, pemeliharaan alat, serta pemantauan hasil penerapan di lapangan; (3) evaluasi dan monitoring. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan keberdayaan mitra (aspek pengetahuan, teknis). Aspek pengetahuan meliputi mitra mulai mengetahui dan memahami manfaat feederku dalam budidaya ikan nila setelah diberikan pendampingan baik non-teknis maupun teknis (100% peserta setuju bermanfaat). Sedangkan aspek teknis, mitra mendapatkan keterampilan untuk merakit alat feederku secara tepat (90% peserta terampil) dimana mayoritas peserta mampu mengoperasionalkan feederku dengan baik (80% peserta mampu), serta selama pemakaian alat feederku (lebih kurang 2 bulan dikolam) mitra merasakan benefitnya dalam hal efisiensi waktu dan tenaga dalam bekerja (100% peserta menyatakan efisien). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian dengan judul pendampingan inovasi feederku telah memberikan hasil yang positif bagi pembudidaya ikan nila di Kecamatan Beutong. Manual feeding is often less efficient, and results in wasted feed. This service aims to introduce and facilitate the application of automatic fish feeder technology (feederku) for tilapia fish farmers in Beutong District, Nagan Raya Regency. This service activity uses the mentoring method, with the stages of activities including: (1) identification of needs; (2) assistance in feederku innovation. Mentoring activities are carried out for 2 months, including training on how to make, operate, maintain tools, and monitor the results of application in the field; (3) evaluation and monitoring. The results of the service showed that there was an increase in partner empowerment (knowledge, technical aspects). The knowledge aspect includes partners starting to know and understand the benefits of my feeder in tilapia farming after being given both non-technical and technical assistance (100% of participants agreed that it was useful). While the technical aspects, partners get the skills to assemble the feederku tool appropriately (90% of participants are skilled); and the majority of participants are able to operate the feederku well (80% of participants are able); and during the use of the feederku tool (approximately 2 months in the pond), partners feel the benefits in terms of time and energy efficiency in work (100% of participants stated efficient). Thus it can be concluded that the service activity with the title of feederku innovation assistance has provided positive results for tilapia fish farmers in Beutong District.
