Abstract

Discipline is a process of guidance that has the aim of instilling certain patterns of behavior and certain habits. Actually discipline is getting children to obey the rules in their environment. The research objectives are 1. To describe the activities carried out in training the development of early childhood discipline in the Save The Kids Kindergarten Banda Aceh. 2. Knowing the obstacles faced by teachers in teaching the development of early childhood discipline in B2 Kindergarten Save The Kids Banda Aceh. 2. Knowing the teacher's role in training the discipline of congregational prayer for early childhood in the B2 group of Save The Kids Kindergarten Banda Aceh.?. In this study, a descriptive qualitative design was chosen. Qualitative descriptive is research conducted with the aim of making a picture or description of a situation objectively by using interview instruments addressed to 3 teachers as respondents. The results showed that: 1. In general, the teacher's role in training disciplined learning in the practice of praying together went well, so that this supported children's success in exploring their activities which caused generally children's education to develop well. 2. The teacher provides motivation and tells stories so that the child's discipline develops well in the practice of praying together. 3. The teacher pays special attention to every child whose discipline development is lacking, namely by giving special attention to the child.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi upaya meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran matematika melalui implementasi realistic mathematics education di SMP Negeri 5 Meureubo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research), yang bertujuan memperbaiki kualitas proses dan hasil pembelajaran matematika terkait peningkatan kemampuan siswa memecahkan masalah dengan penerapan pembelajaran matematika realistik. Penelitian ini memiliki empat tahap pelaksanaan untuk tiap-tiap siklus, yaitu: tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap observasi, dan tahap refleksi. Berdasarkan temuan dan hasil analisis data penelitian, dikemukakan simpulan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran matematika realistik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Persentase siswa yang telah mampu memecahkan masalah pada siklus I adalah 67,74% meningkat menjadi 83,87% pada siklus II. Penerapan pembelajaran matematika realistik dapat meningkatkan kadar aktivitas aktif siswa diketahui dari kadar aktivitas aktif siswa pada siklus I 68,75% meningkat menjadi 75,01% pada siklus II dan aktivitas siswa untuk setiap kategori pengamatan berada pada  batas toleransi.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the contribution of the Department of Education and Culture in overcoming the shortage of teaching staff and lack of basic level facilities in Pidie Regency for the period 2019 - 2024. This research uses a qualitative research approach, with the type of research being descriptive. The sample for this research was 74 elementary schools in Pidie Regency. Data collection techniques in this research used interview, observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique in this research uses four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, display and data verification. Research shows that the Pidie Regency Education and Culture Office for the 2019-2024 period is overcoming the shortage of basic education personnel by quickly inducting new personnel to replace retirees, increasing human resources through supervision, recruiting P3K, and using contract, honorary and community service teachers. To overcome the lack of educational facilities, they collect information on school needs, provide facilities, provide budget assistance, and monitor their use according to learning needs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the independent learning curriculum in improving the quality of education in State Kindergartens in West Aceh Regency.The approach in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach with a descriptive research type. Implementation of the independent curriculum in the West Aceh State Kindergarten in improving the quality of education, namely schools planning the availability of resources, educators and staff, teaching materials and learning materials, infrastructure and facilities, technology and teaching devices, budgets, participation of parents and the community, conducting evaluations and monitoring, building cooperation with various related parties, establishing communication and stakeholder involvement. The implementation of the independent curriculum in the West Aceh State Kindergarten is by implementing a clear vision and commitment, a program for developing plans and strategies, teacher training and development programs, monitoring and evaluation, emotional support and motivation to teachers and staff, involving parents and the community, problem solving, informative and open decision making

Abstract

This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the implementation of strategic planning using the Balanced Scorecard as an innovative approach to improving educational quality at SD Negeri 2 Saree, Aceh Besar District. The Balanced Scorecard is a strategic management framework that emphasizes a balanced focus across four organizational perspectives: financial, stakeholder (customer), internal processes, and learning and growth. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using data collection methods including direct observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, and school committee members, as well as document analysis of school planning records. The findings show that all four Balanced Scorecard perspectives have been systematically and consistently integrated into the school's strategic planning. The financial perspective ensures efficient budget allocation; the stakeholder perspective reflects the needs and satisfaction of parents and students; the internal process perspective enhances operational effectiveness; and the learning and growth perspective promotes professional development and a sustainable learning culture. The implementation of the Balanced Scorecard-based strategy has effectively fostered synergy among school components, enhanced transparency and accountability, and enabled the delivery of adaptive educational services. These findings provide a valuable contribution to quality management practices in primary education and may serve as a model for other schools seeking a structured and measurable approach to strategic planning.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze how the role of the principal in improving the quality of education at the driving school of State Junior High School 4 Kuala, Nagan Raya Regency. The research method is qualitative descriptive. Informants consisted of the principal, vice principal, deputy curriculum and driving teacher. Data collection using interviews, observation and documentation and analysis is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study indicate that the role of the principal as a manager in improving the Quality of Education at the driving school of State Junior High School 4 Kuala is to make planning, implementation, supervision of all activities, All problems in the school are resolved by all school residents, Instilling a disciplined attitude with a systemic system. The role of the principal as an administrator in improving the Quality of Education at the driving school of State Junior High School 4 Kuala is administrative equipment and checking the completeness of teaching and learning activities, student equipment, finance, infrastructure, public relations, correspondence, routine library and laboratory services, curriculum administration. The role of the principal as a supervisor in improving the Quality of Education at the driving school of State Junior High School 4 Kuala is to prepare an education supervision program, supervision of the implementation of teaching and learning, supervision of learning devices, utilizing the results of supervision.

Abstract

Berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dalam proses pembelajaran, guru di TK Save The Kids masih menggunakan buku pedoman tanpa memunculkan hal baru/ bahan ajar digital dengan pendekatan STEM. salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menerapkan penggunaan bahan ajar digital yang dapat menunjang pengetahuan siswa, kedisiplinan, Tanggung Jawab dan Aktivitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas penggunaan bahan ajar digital terintegrasi STEM yang dilakukan di TK Save The Kids dengan menerapkan efektivitas penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis digital dengan menilai tiga aspek yaitu kedisiplinan, Tanggung Jawab serta aktivitas dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas penggunaan bahan aja berbasis digital terintegrasi STEM dengan menilai 3 aspek yakni kedisplinan, tanggung jawab dan aktivitas dalam pembelajaran melalui angket pengamatan dengan rata-rata nilai perbandingan antara sebelum menerapkan bahan ajar digital mendapatkan nilai rata- rata 57 % dan sesudah menggunakan bahan ajar digital terintegrasi STEM mendapatkan nila rata-rata (91%) yang merupakan kriteria sangat baik sekali, terlihat jelas persentase peningkatan sebesar 28% perbandingan diantara keduanya, penggunaan bahan ajar ini menunjang keefektifan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa efektivitas penggunaan bahan ajar tematik berbasis digital terintegrasi STEM menunjang proses pembelajaran kearah yang lebih positif di TK Save The Kids.AbstractBased on observations made by researchers in the learning process, teachers in schools still use guidebooks without creating new things/digital teaching materials with a STEM approach. One effort that can be made is to implement the use of digital teaching materials that can support student knowledge, discipline, responsibilities and learning activities. This research aims to see the effectiveness of using STEM-integrated digital teaching materials carried out at the TK Save The Kids by implementing the effectiveness of using digital-based teaching materials by assessing three aspects, namely discipline, responsibility and activities in learning. The results of research using quantitative methods show that the effectiveness of using integrated digital STEM-based materials is by assessing 3 aspects, namely discipline, responsibility and activity in learning through observation questionnaires with average comparison scores between before applying digital teaching materials getting an average score of 57% and after using STEM integrated digital teaching materials getting an average score (91%) which is a very good criterion, it is clear that the percentage increase is 28% compared between the two, the use of these teaching materials supports student effectiveness in learning. Thus, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of using integrated digital STEM-based thematic teaching materials supports the learning process in a more positive direction at TK Save The Kids.

Abstract

This research entitled: "The Influence of Problem-Based Learning Model on IPS (Social Education Science) learning outcomes in appreciating the history materials of grade fifth students at SD Negeri 46 Banda Aceh". The aim of this study is to determine the effect and student learning outcomes on appreciating the material of historical relics towards learning outcomes. This study is quantitative, while the method of the research is experimental. The population in this study were the students of class V-A and class V-B that consisted 60 students. Class V-A is as an experimental and class V-B as conventional learning model. The test was used to collect the data. It was analyzed by using t-test formula. The results of the data analysis showed that the students of the experimental class got the 80.5 score, while the students in the control class were 74.5 score. It shows that students in the experimental class have better learning outcomes than control class students. The t-count of analysis shown that the value of t-arithmetic = 2.15. While the t-table value = 2.00. This proves the value t- h itu n g ≥ t- ta b el. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the influences of problem-based learning model with the results of learning on appreciating the material of the historical relics for class fifth students at SD Negeri 46 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether the implementation of clinical supervision using a collaborative approach can improve teachers' skills in explaining and varying teacher teaching at SDN 6 Banda Aceh City. The type of research used was school action research (PTS) which was carried out at SD Negeri 6 Banda Aceh City. The subjects in this research were three teachers each teaching in classes III, IV, and V. Data was obtained by observation and documentation. Indicators are used as a measure of the success of the actions carried out in each cycle in this research. This research is said to be successful if the teacher's score for explanation skills and skills for providing variations in teaching has reached a score of 76 (Good) or greater than 90 (Very good). The research results showed that: (1) There was an increase in explaining skills with an average increase in explaining skills from cycle I of 67.21 (fair category), in cycle II of 81.11 (good category). (2) There was an increase in skills in carrying out teaching variations with an average increase in skills in carrying out teaching variations from cycle I of 67.14 (fair category), in cycle II amounting to 81.90 (good category). With an average increase per cycle, I and II for NK teachers of 13.81%, SF teachers of 14.64% and RN teachers of 14.53%. Implementing clinical supervision with a collaborative approach can improve teachers' explaining skills and providing variations in teaching at SD Negeri 6 Banda Aceh City

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika materi Bangun Datar Persegi Panjang pada siswa kelas V dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif think-pair-share di SD Negeri 18 Punge Blang Cut Banda Aceh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu test dan observasi. Adapun yang menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 18 Punge Blang Cut Banda Aceh. Hasil yang di diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu kemampuan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 18 Punge Blang Cut Banda Aceh dalam memahami pembelajaran matematika materi bangun datar persegi panjang dengan menggunakan metode kooperatif think-pair-share mengalami peningkatan. Selama pembelajaran berlangsung adanya interaksi yang baik antara siswa dengan penulis sebagai obsever, sehingga terciptanya suasana belajar yang menyenangkan. Nilai yang diperoleh siswa dalam proses belajar pada saat pre test dan post test dalam siklus I mengalami perubahan yang signifikan. Pada siklus I nilai persentase siswa dalam pre test yaitu 45,62% sedangkan pada saat post test mendapatkan persentase 58,75 %.
