Abstract

The emergency department at one of the Indonesian Public Hospital faces challenges of overcrowding, inadequate performance assessments, and the lack of a holistic team evaluation system, adversely affecting service quality and patient outcomes. This study proposes the Person-Centered Emergency Care Assessment (PECAS), a performance assessment system aligned with the person-centered care paradigm. Employing a qualitative approach and hermeneutic method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document studies involving directors, medical and nursing committees, team members, and patients. The PECAS instrument was developed in three stages: exploring indicators, constructing the instrument, and determining methodologies, with a 360-degree evaluation approach to capture diverse perspectives. The trial results indicated team performance ranged from "Lacking" to "Adequate," reflecting the need for further improvement, yet the system was endorsed for its potential to enhance service quality and establish benchmarks. This study highlights the need for better teamwork, empathy, and clear communication to improve patient satisfaction and safety in emergency care. PECAS offers a comprehensive framework for assessing and improving emergency department team performance, addressing procedural clarity, and balancing operational demands and person-centered approaches to optimize healthcare outcomes.

Abstract

Kecamatan Genteng sebagai ikon kota Surabaya memiliki banyak sekali potensi ekonomi masyarakat khusunya di bidang kuliner dan handycraft yang harus terus digali untuk mencapai pertumbuhan ekonomi yang optimal. Tujuan dari program pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan pemasaran digital dan penyusunan laporan keuangan berdasarkan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan Entitas Mikro Kecil Mennegah (SAK EMKM) untuk mendukung pengembangan usaha. Sasaran mitra usaha yakni para pelaku UMKM di Kecamatan Genteng yang bergerak dibidang kuliner dan handicraft terus berinovasi dalam memasarkan produk secara digital. Peserta UMKM pada umumnya telah lama berkecimpung dalam usahanya namun sebagian ada yang belum melakukan pelaporan keuangan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui tahapan survey mitra, pelatihan dan pendampingan foto produk untuk meningkatkan penjualan dan pelaporan keuangan berdasarkan SAK EMKM bagi UMKM di Kecamatan Genteng, dan evaluasi atas implementasi pemasaran digital untuk memperluas cakupan penjualan dan keberlangsungan usaha di tengah tantangan persaingan yang semakin kompetitif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, peserta UMKM memiliki kemampuan untuk melakukan foto produk dan melakukan pembukuan keuangan. Para pelaku UMKM menyadari pentingnya aplikasi pemasaran melalui online, serta serta pencatatan keuangan usaha.

Abstract

The tourism sector in East Java can increase economic growth, so it must be maintained and further enhanced to be able to create new business opportunities, places to learn history, culture, and other positive values. This study aims to explore the impact of visitor satisfaction on tourist attractions in East Java, focusing on factors that influence tourism sharing behavior. The sample of this study was obtained as many as 100 respondents. The analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM PLS 3.0). The study found that cultural attractions had no effect on tourism sharing behavior, and general attractions had no effect on tourism sharing behavior. Cultural attractions affect visitor satisfaction (Tourist), public attractions affect visitor satisfaction (Tourist), and visitor satisfaction (Tourist) is able to mediate a strong influence between variations in variables of General Attraction and Cultural Attractions on Tourism sharing behavior. The findings of this study prove that when travelers feel satisfied with the attractions displayed, they will share with others in their community. The implication of these findings is the importance of paying attention to visitor satisfaction factors in the management of tourist attractions, as well as considering cultural and general attractions as important factors in improving the tourist experience in East Java.

Abstract

Background: Pemberdayaan santri menjadi salah satu program strategis untuk mendukung program pengentasan kemiskinan. Hal ini didasarkan oleh kondisi santri yang sebagian besar berasal dari keluarga sederhana dan sebagian besar berada pada usia produktif sehingga menjadi masa yang tepat untuk dibekali pengetahuan dalam operasional sistem akuntansi, kewirausahaan, dan pemasaran digital. Diharapkan santri setelah lulus dari pondok pesantren Al-Munawwar selain menyandang gelar HQ (Hafidzul Qur’an) juga memiliki softskills untuk mendukung keberlangsungan hidup santri secara mandiri. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bekal pengetahuan bagi para santri sekaligus siswa melalui pemberian pelatihan komputer akuntansi, kewirausahaan, dan pemasaran digital. Metode: Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah yayasan Pondok Pesantren Al-Munawwar Bojonegoro, para guru dan para santri sekaligus siswa MA Al-Munawwar Bojonegoro. Tahapan pelaksanaan meliputi: perencanaan, pemberian pelatihan dan pendampingan komputer akuntansi, kewirausahaan dan pemasaran digital, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil: Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa para santri sekaligus siswa sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan ini karena sebelumnya belum pernah memperoleh pengetahuan tentang sistem informasi akuntansi, kewirausahaan dan pemasaran digital. Praktik langsung penggunaan aplikasi akuntansi yakni SIABAMAKTI (Sistem Informasi Akuntansi Hibah BIMA Kemdikbudristek Dikti) mampu meningkatkan keterampilan (softskill) para santri dan memberikan contoh bahwa dalam menyajikan laporan keuangan bisa didukung dengan adanya aplikasi akuntansi. Selain itu, para santri memperoleh wawasan baru bahwa banyak peluang untuk menjadi seorang wirausaha sukses dan penggunaan e-commerce untuk sarana penjualan secara digital mengingat adanya perubahan budaya masyarakat. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan ini dapat menambah pengetahuan tentang kewirausahaan dan pemasaran digital, serta peningkatan softskills penguasaan komputer akuntansi bagi para santri sekaligus siswa Al-Munawwar Bojonegoro.

Abstract

The safety of a cruise is a big responsibility and is the most important thing in all aspects. Shipping transportation safety is very close to the human resources that operate the ship. Thus, the performance of employees is very important in supporting the safety and quality of shipping in accordance with the regulations. The ISM Code is an international standard of safety management in the operation of ships as well as efforts to prevent or control environmental pollution. This study aims to analyze and examine the effect of the ISM Code, and organizational culture on employee performance with supervision as a moderating variable. The population in this study included long-distance crossing officers working at PT Dharma Lautan Utama. In this study, sampling was based on purposive sampling criteria, then a sample of 72 respondents was obtained. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire. The type of data used in this study is primary data collected by sending questionnaires to respondents. The research method is quantitative, while the data analysis technique uses the Moderating Regression Analysis (MRA). The results of this study indicate that the ISM Code, and organizational culture have a positive influence, while supervision variables as moderating factors can strengthen the influence of the International Safety Management Code (ISM Code), and organizational culture on employee performance.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of Workload on Organizational Culture, Competence on Organizational Culture, Workload on Organizational Performance, Competence on Organizational Performance, Organizational Culture on Organizational Performance, Workload on Organizational Performance mediated by Organizational Culture, and Competence on Organizational Performance with the mediation of Organizational Culture. The quantitative approach was used in which the survey was conducted with the questionnaire. Data were collected in the form of an ordinal Likert scale. The analytical model used in this research was Path Analysis. The research population included the employees of KPP Pratama Kriyorejo. Results showed that workload and competence had a significant effect on organizational performance, workload and competence did not significantly affect organizational culture, but workload and competence had a significant effect on organizational performance with the mediation of organizational culture.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Job satisfaction moderates the effect of competence and training on employee performance", a study on SMEs members of the Intako in Cooperative Sidoarjo Regency. The purpose of this study is First, to test and analyze the effect of competence on the performance of employees of SMEs members of the Intako Cooperative in Sidoarjo Regency, to test and analyze the effect of training on the performance of employees of SMEs members of the Intako Cooperative in Sidoarjo Regency. Second, to test and analyze job satisfaction, moderating the effect of competence on the performance of SME employees who are members of the Intako Cooperative in Sidoarjo Regency. Third, to test and analyze job satisfaction moderating the effect of training on the performance of SME employees who are members of the Intako Cooperative in Sidoarjo Regency. The contributions in this study are: First, the contribution of theories, namely the results of this research is expected to provide a deep picture and understanding of the performance of SME employees who are members of the Intako Cooperative in Sidoarjo Regency. As well as references for similar studies in the future Second, the practical contribution of the results of this study is expected to be a reference for SMEs members of the Intako Cooperative to improve factors that affect employee performance. Third, policy contribution, namely the results of this research, is expected to be useful and used as input or evaluation in implementing government programs, especially in terms of community empowerment / SMEs carried out by the Office of Cooperatives and MSMEs, Industry, Trade, and Energy of Mineral Resources in Sidoarjo Regency. The data analysis technique used in this study, researchers used moderation analysis with data processing using the SmartPLS program version 3.0 starting from model measurement (outer model), model structure (inner model) and hypothesis testing. The results of testing the hypothesis of the model show that: First, competence has a significant effect, on employee performance, which means that the competencies possessed by employees are very good so that they have a meaningful influence on improving employee performance, so it can be said that the more competence increases, employee performance also increases. Second, training has a significant effect on employee performance, which means that the training provided by employees is good and has a meaningful influence on improving employee performance, so it can be said that the more training increases, of course employee performance increases. Third, job satisfaction is able to moderate the effect of competence on employee performance variables. Four, job satisfaction is able to moderate training on employee performance.

Abstract

Abstrak Tingkat kemiskinan yang cukup tinggi di Kota Surabaya masih menjadi tantangan, dan memerlukan pemahaman terkait faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM), Indeks Pembangunan Gender (IPG), dan Indeks Pemberdayaan Gender (IDG) terhadap tingkat kemiskinan dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi sebagai variabel intervening. Studi dilakukan di Kota Surabaya menggunakan data tahun 2011–2023. Metode analisis jalur digunakan untuk menguji hubungan langsung dan tidak langsung antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa IPM, IPG, IDG memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Hasil analisis pengaruh langsung terhadap tingkat kemiskinan menunjukkan bahwa IPM, IPG, IDG dan pertumbuhan ekonomi memiliki pengaruh negatif signifikan. Analisis mediasi menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan ekonomi memediasi pengaruh IPM, IPG, dan IDG terhadap tingkat kemiskinan dengan pengaruh negatif signifikan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pembangunan manusia dan kesetaraan gender, baik secara langsung maupun melalui pertumbuhan ekonomi, berperan penting dalam menurunkan tingkat kemiskinan di Kota Surabaya Kata kunci: ekonomi, gender, indeks, kemiskinan, dan manusia.

Abstract

This study examines the mediating effect of Environmental-Friendly Operational Efficiency (EOBRL) on the relationship of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), capital structure, company size, and company performance of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023. It employed path analysis using SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results show that GCG directly improves performance because of its impact on EOBRL which encourages sustainable and efficient business operations. The study also shows that capital structure measured by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR) improves performance by allowing investments into green technology and operational advancements. In addition, larger firms enhance EOBRL and performance as they are more able to invest in sustainability. EOBRL was found to be the most significant mediator of EOBRL in GCG, capital structure and company size and better performance due to increased environmental regulations in the industry. This research supports the notion that sustainability should drive operational efficiency and competitiveness in the long term. Further research may focus on specific sector’s issues, impacts of changing legislations, and the influence of technology on the development of EOBRL in different sectors

Abstract

SMK IPIEMS salah satu sekolah kejuruan swasta di Surabaya dan merupakan salah satu SMKterbaik di Surabaya . SMK IPEMS memiliki 4 jurusan yaitu Desain konunikasi visual, Multimedia, Otomatisasi dan Tata kelola Perkantoran/ Administrasi perkantoran dan jurusan Akuntansi dan Keuangan. Semua siswa SMK wajib mengikuti praktek kerja industri/prakerin. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah ketika praktek kerja industri para siswa tidak mempunyai pengetahuan tentang dunia kerja dan etos kerja. Perlu suatu pembelan bagi siswa SMK sebelum praktek kerja industri. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan memberikan materi mengenai gambaran situasi pasar tenaga kerja saat ini dan bagaimana prospek berbagai jenis pekerjaan dimasa yang akan datang. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan berdiskusi antara peserta pelatihan dengan pemateri. Setelah dilakukan pelatihan, maka tahap selanjutnya dalam kegiatan ini adalah pendampinga.. Pada kegiatanpendampingan para siswa pelatihan diajarkan praktek dalam bersikap pada saat magang, mulai dari pakaian yang dikenakan hingga cara berkomunikasi. Harapan dilakukannya kegitan ini adalah para siswa bisa mendapatkan pengalaman kerja yang maksimal pada saat melaksanakan magang. Bukan hanya itu saja diharapkan kegiatan magang ini dapat digunakan oleh para siswa untuk menunjukkan kemampuan atau kapabilitasnya dalam dunia kerja sehingga banyak masyarakat yang percaya dan tertarik dengan kemampuan yang dimiliki.Kata Kunci:
