Abstract

This research explores the influence of financial knowledge on the financial behavior of students. The low level of financial knowledge among students can lead to financial problems, such as high debt. The aim of this research is to provide a clearer framework regarding how financial knowledge influences the financial behavior of students. Using the PRISMA-based Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, it shows that the higher the financial knowledge of students, the better their financial behavior, enabling them to manage their finances well, such as budgeting, managing debt, and saving. Financial education in higher education is crucial for shaping responsible financial behavior, so appropriate interventions can help students develop better financial skills for their future.

The study results showed that first, there was a positive and significant relationship between locus of control and the intensity of entrepreneurship in vocational high school students in Pringsewu. This means that when students have a strong locus of control, their intensity for entrepreneurship tends to be high. Conversely, if the locus of control is low, the intensity of entrepreneurship also tends to be low. Second, there is a positive and significant influence between self-efficacy and the intensity of entrepreneurship in vocational high school students in Pringsewu. It was concluded that high levels of self-efficacy in students were related to high intentions to become entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Abstract

Procrastination in academia is a problem. Students are one of the academic actors who are expected to meet the needs of the global community through the skills gained from higher education institutions, to change a country's achievement of the Human Development Index (HDI). This study aims to determine academic procrastination in higher education using the meta-analysis method. The search was conducted in the Scopus database published since 1989. A total of 73 articles with a sample of 30,070 students spread across universities in 10 countries with ownership of the main HDI achievements in the world. The results of the research on academic procrastination in universities showed up to 34 low-category articles, 28 medium-category articles, 8 high-ranking articles, and 3 very high-category articles. This inconsistent condition is caused by differences in regional, geographical, environmental, and cultural conditions formed in the society of each country in the sample. The article found no publication bias, while limitations and recommendations for further research were presented. Recommendations for future research examine more deeply the factors influencing the formation of different categorizations of academic procrastination at the levels of formal, non-formal, and informal education in general, as well as certain criteria.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/E3J/v7i2.109-122

Abstract

Analisis data menggunakan komputer program SPSS 27 for windows.

Abstract

This research addresses the significant issue of unemployment among vocational school graduates in Indonesia and the low level of entrepreneurship among them. While previous studies have predominantly focused on the entrepreneurial intentions of high school and university student samples, there isthere needs to be more understanding of the entrepreneurial intentions of vocational school graduates. Bridging the gap, this study explores the determinants of entrepreneurial intentions among vocational school graduates, particularly examining the roles of entrepreneurial knowledge and attitude toward entrepreneurship. Additionally, this research explores attitude toward entrepreneurship as a mediating variable. The study employs a survey method with data from 305 vocational school graduates in Indonesia as participants. D ta analysis uses partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial Knowledge has a significant positive relationship with attitude toward entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial intention. Furthermore, this research finds that attitude toward entrepreneurship exhibits a complementary partial mediation effect between entrepreneurial Knowledge and entrepreneurial intention. The study also suggests that interest in entrepreneurship and professional experience can enhance the entrepreneurial intentions of vocational high school graduates. These insights offer valuable guidance for policymakers and educators in designing strategies to promote entrepreneurship among vocational school graduates, ultimately addressing unemployment challenges in Indonesia.
