Abstract

Competitiveness and performance of businesses in the creative industry have the disadvantage of resourcemanagement and development and entrepreneurial policies. Creative industries covering the fashionindustry, design, and craft are industries that expected to be able to competewith the establishment of theAsian Economic Community (AEC) by 2015. To improve the capability to compete in the regionally andglobally, internal capabilities such as Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO) and social capitals (SC) ofcompanies in the creative industry need to improve. Entrepreneurial Orientation has been the focus ofmany researchers and contributed significantly to the development of entrepreneurship literature over thedecades. This fact supported by empirically significantfindings contributedby various researchersin theliterature. However, up to the date there are many debates and require more research, specifically in therobustness of the dimensions within creative industries. The current research using Mixed Methodsanalyses tested the EO and SC model to 60 entrepreneurs in the creative industries within specific areasoffashion, design and crafting in Central Java regions. Findings suggested that in the creative industries, EOvaried to those companies in manufacturing and technology industries. The current research contributed tothe literatureby (1) modelling the EO in the creative industry, (2) confirming previous research findings onEntrepreneurship Orientation, (3) suggesting the source of competitive advantage in this industry, (4)social capital not adopted scientifically.However, these findings should require more extensive researchand tested across regions. Hence, the directions for future research are implied in the research limitationssection.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar melalui penerapan media pembelajaran audio visual. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI IIS 2 SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2016//2017 yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Sumber data berasal dari guru dan peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan non tes. Validitas data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi, validitas isi dan review informan kunci. Analisis data yang  digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif komparatif, analisis data kuantitatif, dan analisis data kualitatif. Prosedur penelitian meliputi tahap (a) perencanaan, (b) tindakan, (c) observasi, (d) refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian penerapan media pembelajaran audio visual melalui langkah persiapan, penggunaan media, evaluasi, dan tindak lanjut dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa. Hal ini terbukti pada nilai rata-rata siswa pada pra siklus 77,78 dengan presentase ketuntasan sebesar 70,37%, siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 79,26 dengan presentase ketuntasan 85,19%, dan siklus II nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 81,32 dengan presentase ketuntasan 88,89%. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan media pembelajaran audio visual  dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa kelas XI IIS 2 SMAN Negeri 5 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2016/2017.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangan media pembelajaran dengan teknologi video tutorial yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pemasaran online kelas X PM 1 SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Riset dan Pengembangan. Perancangan dilakukan dengan melalui prosedur tahap studi pendahuluan dan tahap pengembangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penilaian ahli materi yang menyatakan bahwa media pembelajarannvideo tutorial memenuhi kriteria baik sekali dengan persentase sebesar 91%. Penilaian ahli media terhadap media video tutorial dengan rata-rata sebesar 88% yang memenuhi kriteria baik sekali. Penilaian ahli multimedia terhadap media video tutorial dengan rata-rata sebesar 79% yang memenuhi kriteria baik. Tanggapan pada uji coba terbatas, memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 73% yang memenuhi kriteria baik, kemudian tanggapan dari siswa pada uji coba luas memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 78% yang memenuhi kriteria baik. Hasil post test yang telah dilakukan memperoleh nilai rata-rata yang lebih tinggi sebesar 80 dari nilai sebelumnya sebesar 73, serta memperoleh presentase ketuntasan sebesar 76 %.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve students' critical thinking skillsthrough the application of integrated learning and accompanied by contextual-basedinstructional media on social studies subject in junior high school. This research is aclassroom action research. The subjects were social studies' teacher and students of 8Bclass in SMP N 11 Surakarta. Data collection techniques in this study are observation,questionnaire, and test. The data analysis technique used are the comparative analysistechnique, technique of quantitative and qualitative analysis. This research was conductedin three cycles. Based on the data obtained from cycle I to cycle III, the researchshows that the implementation of the integrated learning can increase students' criticalthinking skills. The third cycle shows the following condition: 71.79% of students gavehigh responses to learning undertaken by teachers, 20.5% gave medium responses, and7.67% gave low responses. Student's achievement in cycle III shows that 76.92% of thestudents got grades above 70 and as much as 23.08% obtained score below 70. Succesindicators in this study was reached at the third cycle.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali hubungan antara konsepsi belajar-mengajar dan kecenderungan belajar sepanjang hayat yang dimediasi kesiapan belajar mandiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasional, pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner kepada populasi mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta angkatan tahun 2019, 2020, dan 2021 sebanyak 317 dan subjek penelitian sebanyak 177. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan proportioned random sampling. Pengukuran dilakukan terhadap konsepsi belajar-mengajar, kesiapan belajar mandiri, dan kecenderungan belajar sepanjang hayat. Analisis statistik menggunakan metode regresi dan analisis jalur untuk mengevaluasi hubungan antara variabel-variabel tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat hubungan positif antara konsepsi belajar-mengajar konstruktivis dan kesiapan belajar mandiri (2) konsepsi belajar-mengajar tradisional memiliki hubungan positif dengan kesiapan belajar mandiri (3) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara konsepsi belajar-mengajar konstruktivis terhadap kecenderungan belajar sepanjang hayat (4) terdapat hubungan positif yang rendah antara konsepsi belajar-mengajar tradisional dan tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kecenderungan belajar sepanjang hayat (5) antara kesiapan belajar mandiri dan kecenderungan belajar sepanjang hayat terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan. Hasil uji sobel kesiapan belajar mandiri dapat memediasi pada hubungan antara konsepsi belajar-mengajar konstruktivis dan kecenderungan belajar sepanjang hayat berbeda dengan hubungan antara konsepsi belajar-mengajar tradisional dan kecenderungan belajar sepanjang hayat, peran kesiapan belajar mandiri tidak dapat memediasi dengan hasil nilai t hitung 0,943 < 1,973. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa kesiapan belajar mandiri dapat memediasi antara hubungan konsepsi belajar-mengajar konstruktivis dan kecenderungan belajar sepanjang hayat.

Abstract

Job readiness is a competency that must be possessed by Vocational High School (SMK) students. In order to create a qualified and work-ready workforce, Vocational High Schools equip their students with a set of work skills. However, the fact is that not all vocational students after graduation have sufficient skills to immediately enter the world of work, so they do not yet have the job readiness as expected from the business/industry world. This is because the learning and learning practices of SMK students are less relevant to the business/industry world and the utilization of Production Units in SMK is less optimized for learning practices. This study aims to: (1) determine the level of work readiness of SMK students; (2) identify teachers' efforts to improve student work readiness, and (3) determine the impact of the implementation of Work-Integrated Learning on increasing work readiness of SMK students. This research is a literature review based on descriptive qualitative methods. Based on the data from several journal articles analyzed, it can be concluded that the implementation of Work-Integrated Learning can improve the work readiness of SMK students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh enam dimensi persepsi risiko konsumen (risiko keuangan, risiko produk, risiko keamanan, risiko waktu, risiko sosial, dan risiko psikologis) terhadap minat pembelian online di marketplace pada mahasiswa di Kota Surakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa di Kota Surakarta yang pernah melakukan pembelian produk secara online di marketplace (infinite population). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan secara online berbantuan google form, sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak 242 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan SPPS versi 24. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dari keenam dimensi persepsi risiko konsumen, risiko waktu berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap minat pembelian online, sedangkan kelima dimensi lainnya: risiko keuangan, risiko produk, risiko keamanan, risiko sosial, dan risiko psikologis tidak berpengaruh negatif terhadap minat pembelian online.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of Introduction to the Schooling Field (PLP) on soft skills moderated by gender in students of the Office Administration Education, Accounting Education, and Economic Education Study Program at UNS involved 183 students from the 2018-2019 class who had taken part in PLP activities. The sampling technique in this research used proportional random sampling with data collection through questionnaires. The sub-group moderation method is used as a data analysis technique. The results obtained in this research are: (1) There is a positive and significant influence between PLP and soft skills. (2) Gender does not strengthen the influence of PLP on soft skills. The research results show that the PLP's ability to influence soft skills is very weak, this is because there is a gap between the soft skills competency score and the final PLP score.

Abstract

Psychological factors such as locus of control, need for achievement, and entrepreneurial self-efficacy are interesting to discuss in the context of fostering entrepreneurial intentions. This study aims to determine the impact of psychological factors, namely locus of control and need for achievement, on entrepreneurial intentions through entrepreneurial self-efficacy. The research method used is a quantitative survey with a sample consisting of 332 students. The sampling technique in this study employs proportionate random sampling, with data collected via questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and hierarchical regression analysis. The results show that: 1) There is a positive and significant effect of locus of control on entrepreneurial self-efficacy; 2) There is a positive and significant effect of need for achievement on entrepreneurial self-efficacy; 3) There is a positive and significant effect of entrepreneurial self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intentions; 4) Entrepreneurial self-efficacy mediates the relationship between locus of control and need for achievement on entrepreneurial intentions. These findings highlight that increasing locus of control and need for achievement among students can enhance entrepreneurial self-efficacy, which in turn increases entrepreneurial intentions.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate the Locus of Control and Self Efficacy among students in developing their entrepreneurial mindset in their Youth. Unemployment and poverty remain significant issues faced by the people of Indonesia both currently and in the coming years. The persistent high unemployment rate in Indonesia continues to be a pervasive problem. This study used a quantitative research design, employing both exogenous and endogenous variables, as well as moderator variables that either strengthen or weaken the relationship between the variables. The research was conducted at Vocational High School (SMK) in Pringsewu Regency during the 2023/2024 academic year's even semester. The study's population consisted of all class XI students majoring in business management at vocational schools across Pringsewu Regency, with a total of 114 students at each school. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula, with a population of 89 students and a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that research was conducted on 73 students who obtained the results that locus of control had an effect on entrepreneurial intentions as seen in the tcount for the variable locus of control (X1) of 2.993 > ttable (1.667) with a probability value (sig.) of 0.004 < 0.05 with Thus, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that the locus of control variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions (Y). Self-efficacy influences entrepreneurial intentions as seen in the tcount for the self-efficacy variable (X2) of 4.132 > ttable (1.667) with a probability value (sig.) of 0.000 < 0.05, thus H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that the self-efficacy variable (X2) has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions (Y).
