Abstract

The study, titled "Implementation of Physical Test Measurement in Pencak Silat Sports Using an Application for Students at Palembang 13 Public Junior High School," aims to establish norms for assessing physical test results in the athletics long jump event through the use of an application. The physical test components include endurance, speed, strength, muscle power, and balance assessments. This research adopts a quantitative approach with a descriptive research design. The participants consist of 20 extracurricular athletic students specializing in the long jump at Palembang 13 Public Junior High School, comprising 13 male students and 7 female students. Data collection involves various tests, utilizing specific instruments such as the bleep test for endurance, a 30-meter sprint for speed, a 1-minute push-up test for strength, a vertical jump test for muscle explosive power, and a standing stroke test for balance. The research is conducted at Palembang 13 Public Junior High School, with the collaboration of one member from the Physical Education, Sports, and Health (Pjok) MGMP in Kota Palembang. The findings from the research on extracurricular athletic students at Palembang 13 Public Junior High School indicate that the average physical condition falls into the "very good" category with a percentage of 12%, "good" with 8%, "sufficient" with 24%, "less" with 32%, and "less once" with 25%. In conclusion, the average physical condition of extracurricular students is categorized as "less" with a percentage of 32%. Following this research, the intention is to raise awareness among students to continuously enhance and maintain their physical condition to achieve optimal success

Abstract

This study focuses on the application of a fitness testing app to assess physical performance in junior high school students, specifically those involved in extracurricular basketball activities at Palembang 03 Public Junior High School. The primary objective is to establish norms for categorizing physical test results using the app, covering components such as speed, agility, strength, endurance, and muscle explosiveness. Employing a quantitative descriptive approach with survey research methods, the study involves 20 participants, comprising 10 male and 10 female students. Various physical tests, including a 30-meter run for speed, Bleep tests for agility, Push-Ups for strength, Bleep tests for endurance, and a vertical jump for muscle explosive power, were conducted as part of the data collection process. The research took place at Palembang 03 Public Junior High School in collaboration with the MGMP Pjok at the school. Analysis of the physical test results revealed that 9% of the participants achieved a "very good" category, 7% fell into the "good" category, 38% were classified as "average," 27% were categorized as "below average," and 19% were in the "poor" category. In conclusion, the predominant category was "average," constituting 38% of the participants. This study aims to heighten students' awareness of their physical conditions, fostering motivation for continuous improvement and emphasizing the significance of physical tests as tools for gauging fitness levels.

Abstract

Background Problems: The precision of serves in volleyball plays a crucial role in shaping the outcome of a match, potentially altering the game's dynamics, scoring points, and elevating the overall team performance. Research Objectives: This study was conducted to assess the impact of targeted overhand serve drill exercises on overhand serve accuracy. Methods: This study employed a quasi-experimental approach, utilizing a one-group pretest-posttest design, with 30 volleyball extracurricular participants engaging in targeted overhand service drill exercises over 6 weeks. Data were collected using the AAHPER overhand serve accuracy test, followed by analysis through a paired-sample t-test to assess the effectiveness of the training and determine if there were any differences in outcomes between the two groups, with a significance level set at 5%. Before conducting parametric tests, data normality is examined using the Shapiro-Wilk test, and homogeneity is assessed using Levene's test. Findings and Results: In summary, the finding of this study showed that targeted overhand serve drill exercises have a positive effect on enhancing the accuracy of overhand serves in volleyball extracurricular participants. Conclusion: In addition, this intervention can be a valuable training method and reference for designing training programs aims at improving overhand serve accuracy in volleyball matches. Future research should implement stricter controls throughout the experimental process.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the results of implementing the learning media D'Volleyball Learning Application to improve student's learning outcomes in junior high schools. This research uses an action research method consisting of two cycles. The action takes the form of volleyball learning using the D'volleyball learning application media. The sample in this research was 31 students at State Junior High School 1 Tanjung Batu class VIII, consisting of 11 male students and 20 female students. Data was obtained by conducting pre-cycle and post-tests after each cycle test to determine the level of completeness of students' learning outcomes in volleyball game bottom serve learning material. A significant spike in improvement was seen in the three aspects assessed after being given action in the 2nd cycle. Students' knowledge was improved at 29.23% after cycle 1 and 83.87 after cycle 2, skills were improved at 32.25% after cycle 1 and 83.87 after cycle 2, and attitude were improved at 61.29% after cycle 1 and 80.65% after cycle 2. The implementation of D'Volleyball Learning Application media in learning has been proven effective for use in the learning process at State Junior High School 1 Tanjung Batu.

Abstract

Salah satu perubahan besar dalam bidang pendidikan yang dibawa oleh Covid-19 adalah lingkungan pembelajaran di mana peserta didik menerima pembelajaran mereka. Peserta didik lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu di rumah karena sekolah ditutup, pemerintah menganjurkan untuk tetap di rumah, dan melakukan karantina wilayah. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membatu guru pendidikan jasmani dalam mentransformasi proses pembelajaran selama pandemic Covid-19, dimana pembelajaran tatap muka untuk sementara ditiadakan dan diganti dengan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Teknologi informasi yang digunakan berupa sistem pebelajaran jarak jauh (PPJ). PPJ memungkinkan untuk melakukan pebelajaran secara jarak jauh tanpa terikat jarak, dimanapun dan kapanpun dapat mengakses pebelajaran tersebut. Pelatihan dan pendampingan pengenalan platform pembelajaran seperti Zoom, Google Meet, Google Classroom, Schoology, dan Edmodo selama tiga hari yang dilakukan secara virtual dengan peserta 50 guru pendidikan jasmani telah memberi dampak positif terkait pemahaman guru pendidikan jasmani terkait dengan media yang dapat digunakan dalam PJJ mata pelajaran pendidikan jasmani.

Abstract

A training and mentoring programmed to strengthen literacy and numeracy in schools with red report cards was implemented as a post-pandemic learning recovery effort. The programmed aims to improve the literacy and numeracy skills of students who are still below national standards, especially in schools with low learning outcomes. Through intensive training, teachers are empowered with pedagogical knowledge and skills to implement effective learning methods that suit learners' needs. This research method uses a qualitative-descriptive approach, collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that the training and mentoring programmed succeeded in improving teachers’ competence in teaching and increasing students’ learning motivation. Thus, this programmed is expected to have a positive impact on strengthening teachers' capacity in implementing effective and sustainable learning. The findings provide important recommendations for the government and stakeholders in developing education policies that focus on restoring learning, particularly in low-performing schools.

Abstract

Konsentrasi dan kepercayaan diri merupakan aspek yang berpengaruh pada performa atlet dalam pertandingan futsal, terlebih pada keadaan krusial seperti tendangan penalti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara konsentrasi dan kepercayaan diri terhadap kemampuan tendangan penalti futsal. Metode yang digunakan yaitu desain penelitian korelasional dengan deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan didapatkan sebanyak 30 siswa laki-laki kelas 7 dan kelas 8 yang masih aktif mengikuti ekstrakurikuler futsal di MA Al-Islah Cikeusal. Instrumen konsentrasi menggunakan Grid Concentration Test, kepercayaan diri menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert, dan tendangan penalti menggunakan Tes Tendangan Penalti. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) ada korelasi antara konsentrasi terhadap kemampuan tendangan penalti futsal, (2) ada korelasi antara kepercayaan diri terhadap kemampuan tendangan penalti futsal, dan (3) ada korelasi antara konsentrasi dan kepercayaan diri secara simultan terhadap kemampuan tendangan penalti futsal. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi dan kepercayaan diri berperan penting dalam keadaan krusial pertandingan futsal seperti tendangan penalti. The association between concentration and self-confidence with penalty kick ability in futsal Abstract: Concentration and self-confidence affect athletes' performance in futsal matches, especially in crucial circumstances such as penalty kicks. This study aimed to determine the correlation between concentration and self-confidence in futsal penalty-kicking abilities. The study employed a correlational research design with a descriptive quantitative approach. A purposive sampling technique was used to select a sample of up to 30 male students in 7th and 8th grade who were actively participating in extracurricular futsal at MA Al-Islah Cikeusal. Concentration scores were obtained using the Grid Concentration Test, a Likert scale questionnaire for self-confidence, and a Penalty Kick Test for penalty kick score. The data analysis technique consists of prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression tests. The results showed that (1) there is a correlation between concentration on futsal penalty kicking ability, (2) there is a correlation between self-confidence on futsal penalty kicking ability, and (3) there is a correlation between concentration and self-confidence simultaneously on futsal penalty kicking ability. This research indicated that concentration and self-confidence are important in crucial circumstances of futsal matches, such as penalty kicks.

Abstract

Student athletes often do not have good basic techniques in performing running movements, resulting in the resulting running speed is also not optimal. This study aims to increase the running speed of Lesson athletes with the ABC running method. This research is a quantitative study that uses a quasy experimental research design. This study uses a pre-experimental research design with a one group pretest posttest design. The results of research from 30 samples by collecting 100-meter running speed data on Baturaja Runner Club Student Athletes. Based on the results of data analysis, there is a significant effect of ABC running training on the results of 100-meter running speed in Baturaja Runner Club athletes with a tcount of 5.516 ttable 2.045, a significance value of 0.000 a = 0.05 and with a percentage increase of 34.03%. Based on these data, it can be concluded that there is an average difference between the pretest and posttest training results, which means that the ABC running method has a significant impact in improving the results of running speed in student athletes

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine physical fitness measurement instruments for children aged 10-12 years. This is the average age of children who go to school at the primary level in grades 4-6. This type of research is a survey method with percentage descriptive data analysis techniques. Purposive accidental sampling was used in this study. Respondents involved in this study were 128 respondents consisting of 19 respondents who were lecturers in the field of sports and 109 respondents were teachers of PESH at elementary school. The results of the study show that the measuring instruments for health-related physical fitness that can be applied to most elementary schools by taking into account the condition of the facilities and infrastructure are weight, height, and body mass index (body composition), 20-meter multi-stage shuttle run (cardiorespiratory endurance), sit-and-reach test (flexibility), pushup (muscle endurance), and maximal handgrip strength test (muscle strength).

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mencari informasi tentang pengaruh   push up kepada hasil lemparan kedalam di klub sepak bola Bimantara Musi Rawas. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah strategi semi trial, dan itu menyiratkan bahwa contoh utama ditangani. Konfigurasi ujian yang digunakan adalah One Gathering Pretest-Posttest Plan. Pengujian menggunakan prosedur pengujian populasi habis-habisan dengan contoh 40 orang. Instrumen eksplorasi adalah bahwa semua contoh mengambil tes tendangan lurus ke depan. Informasi dan uji spekulasi dengan menggunakan resep uji-t, bahwa latihan push up mempengaruhi perluasan konsekuensi dari lemparan ke dalam sepak bola. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil pengujian informasi melalui estimasi persamaan uji t dengan model t hitung lebih diperhatikan dari t tabel (13,730 1,70) dengan tingkat kepastian 0,95 (α = 0,05) dan jumlah pengujian (N = 40). Latihan push-up mempengaruhi peningkatan hasil lemparan di klub sepak bola Bimantara Musi Rawas.
