Abstract

Kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam proses pembelajaran matematika, khususnya materi Faktor Persekutuan Terbesar (FPB) dan Kelipatan Persekutuan Terkecil (KPK), di kelas V SDN 3 Terong Tawah menyebabkan rendahnya interaksi dan keterbatasan sumber belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kevalidan dan kepraktisan media pembelajaran Congklak pada materi FPB dan KPK bagi siswa kelas V SDN 3 Terong Tawah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Development, dan Disseminate). Subjek penelitian adalah 15 siswa kelas V SDN 3 Terong Tawah. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket validasi ahli serta respons guru dan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Congklak sangat layak dan praktis untuk digunakan. Hasil validasi ahli memperoleh persentase kelayakan 95% (ahli media) dan 95% (ahli materi), keduanya dalam kategori "Sangat Layak". Sementara itu, hasil praktikalitas menunjukkan persentase 87.5% (respons guru) dan 90.91% (respons peserta didik), keduanya dikategorikan "Sangat Praktis". Kesimpulan dari temuan ini adalah media pembelajaran Congklak efektif menciptakan suasana belajar yang interaktif, menyenangkan, dan kontekstual, sehingga meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar siswa dalam memahami konsep FPB dan KPK. Media ini direkomendasikan sebagai sumber belajar yang efektif untuk diterapkan lebih luas.

Abstract

Students' interest in learning science subjects has an important role in supporting learning success, but conditions in class IV of SDN 1 Pringga Jurang show that students' interest in learning is still low, which can be seen from the lack of attention, involvement, and enthusiasm of students during the learning process which is still dominated by conventional methods. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Kahoot media on students' interest in learning science subjects in grade IV of SDN 1 Pringga Jurang. This study uses a quantitative approach with a Quasi Experimental Design research type in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects of the study were all 24 students of grade IV of SDN 1 Pringga Jurang. Data collection techniques in this study include questionnaires and observations. Data analysis was carried out through prerequisite tests including normality tests and homogeneity tests, then continued with hypothesis testing using Paired Sample T-test and Effect Size calculations. The results of the normality test showed that the pre-test data had a significance value of 0.645 and the post-test data of 0.357 (Sig. > 0.05), indicating that the data were normally distributed. Meanwhile, the homogeneity test showed a significance value of 0.086 (Sig. > 0.05), indicating that the data were homogeneous. The results of hypothesis testing obtained a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.001 <0.05 and a calculated T value > T table of 21.285 > 2.064, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of Kahoot media on students' interest in learning science subjects in grade IV of SDN 1 Pringga Jurang. The effect size test results obtained a d-value of 4.345, which falls into the strong effect category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of Kahoot media has a strong influence on students' learning interest, as indicated by indicators of enjoyment, interest, attention, and engagement in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of folklore-based picture story media on the reading comprehension of third-grade students of Elementary School Cluster III Pagutan in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The research sample consisted of third-grade students of SDN 2 Sangkawana as the experimental class and third-grade students of SDN 1 Tunjang as the control class. The data collection technique used a reading comprehension ability test in the form of a pretest and posttest. Data analysis was carried out using the Shappiro Wilk normality test, Levene test homogeneity test, Mann-Whitney U Test, and effect size test. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class was 71.29, higher than the control class at 53.23. The results of the hypothesis test obtained an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.008 <0.05, which indicates that there is a significant effect of the use of folklore-based picture story media on students' reading comprehension. Illustrated story media helps students understand the content of reading through visual illustrations and stories that are close to students' lives.
