Abstract

This research is a collaboration between STTKD Yogyakata and Frogs Indonesia, a startup that manufactures flying vehicles, with the aim of making the UAV Skywalker 1900 flying vehicle with Carbon Fiber reinforced composite materials to produce a structure that is stronger than the material commonly used, namely Styrofoam. The initial stage of making the UAV was to work on the Skywalker 1900 UAV design drawings and printed them with 3D printing using PLA Filament, the 3D printing results were then molded using Epoxy resin. From the resulting molding, the structure of the aircraft parts will be made with fiber glass reinforced composite materials using the Vacuum Bagging method. After the structure of the aircraft parts is completed, the electrical and avionic components are installed. The flight test results of the Skywalker 1900 UAV aircraft have a speed of around 15 m/s to 20 m/s, the weakness of this aircraft design is that it is still difficult to control, from the existing analysis this is caused by the aerofoil on the horizontal stabilizer causing lift in the tail of the aircraft of 1 newtons.

Abstract

Community participation in development is essential to ensure program sustainability and relevance. Active community involvement leads to policies that reflect their needs, increasing effectiveness. This research aimed to explore the factors that influence community participation in Musrenbang in Bayat Village by using the perspective of Resource Mobilization Theory. This study identifies the available material, human, and non-material resources and their use in Musrenbang. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies with key informants: the village head, village officials, and community leaders. The findings demonstrated that mobilizing material resources supplied by the village government, such as budget, meeting facilities, planning information, and transportation, might inspire changes in community enthusiasm to actively participate in Musrenbang. Furthermore, human resources such as facilitators and community leaders play a significant role in organizing community engagement. This research discovered that efficient resource mobilization strategies help bridge the gap between planning and implementation of village development. The provision of financial compensation and recognition of community status also increases the motivation to actively participate in Musrenbang. This study offers new insights into the dynamics of community participation in Musrenbang in Bayat Village and underscores the importance of appropriate resource utilization in the village development process.

Abstract

Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI) yang merupakan negara kepulauan memerlukan pertahanan laut yang kuat, dalam hal ini Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Laut (TNI AL), sebagai garda terdepan dalam mempertahankan kedaulatan wilayah laut Indonesia. Kehadiran pangkalan yang kuat sangat dibutuhkan dalam mendukung kecepatan reaksi dan kesiapsiagaan TNI AL dalam melaksanakan operasi. Pangkalan Saumlaki berada di sisi selatan Indonesia merupakan pintu terluar yang berbatasan langsung dengan negara Australia (Samudera Indian) perlu dikembangkan agar pengawasan terhadap segala ancaman dan pelanggaran yang datang segera dapat di atasi. Pengembangan suatu pangkalan laut tidak lepas dari faktor oseanografi fisik yang meliputi pola pasang surut, arus laut dan gelombang. Penelitian ini mencoba menganalisa karakteristik pasut, arus pasut, dan gelombang melalui pendekatan pemodelan numerik. Hasil simulasi pemodelan numerik selama satu tahun di area perairan Saumlaki didapatkan bahwa tunggang air akibat pasang surut di perairan Saumlaki sebesar 2,5 m dengan tipe pasang surut harian campuran condong ganda, kecepatan arus pasut maksimum 0.082 m/s dan ketinggian maksimum gelombang signifikan sebesar 2,65 m The Republic of Indonesia, as an archipelagic nation, need robust marine defense to safeguard its territorial integrity. In this regard, the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) serves as the foremost protector in upholding the sovereignty of Indonesia's maritime domain. The inclusion of a robust foundation is vital in facilitating the velocity of reaction and readiness of the Indonesian Navy in executing operational activities. The Saumlaki base, situated in the southern region of Indonesia, serves as the primary point of entry that immediately adjoins Australia via the Indian Ocean. It is imperative to enhance the existing system in order to promptly address and rectify any instances of threats and breaches through comprehensive monitoring. The establishment of a maritime facility is inherently intertwined with physical oceanographic elements, encompassing tide patterns, ocean currents, and waves. This study aims to examine the attributes of tides, tidal currents, and waves using a numerical modeling methodology. The findings from numerical modeling simulations conducted over a one-year period in the Saumlaki waters revealed that the tidal-induced water level increase in this region reached a magnitude of 2.5 meters. The tidal pattern seen was characterized as a mixed double skew daily tidal type. Additionally, the simulations indicated that the greatest speed of the tidal currents reached 0.082 meters per second, while the most significant wave height recorded was 2.65 meters.

Abstract

Selat sunda merupakan perairan yang menghubungkan pulau jawa dan pulau Sumatra, dan menghubungkan perairan laut jawa dan Samudra hindia, disamping itu keberadaan selat sunda juga menjadikan perairan ini sebagai akses jalur perdagangan dunia yang mana di dalamnya memiliki peranan penting baik di sektor ekonomi, insfrastruktur, transportasi dan aktifitas Masyarakat lainnya. Dalam hal ini tidak terlepas dari pemahaman tentang gelombang di laut yang mempunyai peranan penting dalam pengambilan Keputusan dalam memanfaatkan perairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji bagaimana karakteristik kecepatan hanyut gelombang (wave stock drift) di perairan selat sunda. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan menggunakan data dari ECMWF dari marine Copernicus selama 1 tahun yang diwakilkan dalam 4 musim, musim barat, musim peralihan 1, musim timur, musim peralihan 2. Dari 3 turunan gelombang tersebut akan diolah dan dianalisis dengan mengkorelasikan dengan stokes drift dan didapatkan hasil dari determinasi dan korelasi dari gelombang tersebut. Hasil dari analisis tersebut menghasilkan data bahwa kecepatan hanyut gelombang memiliki nilai determinasi dan korelasi yang sangat kuat terhadap gelombang angin dibandingkan dengan gelombang alun maupun gelombang signifikan. Rata-rata kecepatan hanyut gelombang selama periode musiman berkisar antara 0,05 – 0,11 m/s, dengan pola arah gelombang berdasarkan arah datangnya angin, apabila angin barat maka arah gelombang rat-rata ke timur begitupun sebaliknya. Dengan begitu karakteristik hanyut gelombang di selat sunda dapat dikatakan bahwa semakin tinggi gelombang angin, maka kecepatan hanyut gelombang juga semakin bertambah. Pada penelitian ini masih menggunakan data model sehingga perlu dilakukan pengujian di lapangan secara langsung untuk penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

This study aims to know the cost of designing maintenance using the Reliability Centered Maintenance method. Engine and fuel control, is a fuel engine system and fuel control system; in charge of distributing and measuring fuel from the fuel storage tank, to the combustion chamber. Gas turbine or component area (Combustor), functions as a distributor of fuel used in aircraft systems and plays a role in carrying out its operation (Boeing 737-400 Aircraft Maintenance Manual). Reliability is the possibility of a component or system to be able to operate and/or carry out its functions. The function has been assigned to certain operating conditions and in a certain environment for a predetermined period of time. Thus, reliability is the probability that it will not fail or be able to perform its function for a period of time (t) or more. In the analysis of preventive maintenance financing, which is carried out when the reliability value reaches 70%, 60% and 50%, respectively, it is obtained for each component.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has various ethnicities, races, and religions gives rise to many different understandings and there are quite a few cases or problems regarding intolerance between those who have different understandings. So, with multicultural education, it is hoped that the school will contribute to overcoming the issues of racism, radicalism, and extremism. So this article will discuss how to apply multicultural education to build the tolerant character of students at MI NU Darussalam. This research uses qualitative research with interview, observation, and documentation data collection techniques. The results of this research are that the implementation of multicultural education at MI NU Darussalam has gone well. Tolerance has been taught to students from the start as part of character formation. Instilling multicultural values is carried out in various ways, both during learning and outside of learning. The success of this implementation is supported by the teacher's professionalism in integrating multicultural values into the learning process.

Abstract

This research focuses on manufacturing composite wings using the vacuum bag process. The vacuum bag method is used because it can reduce manufacturing time and improve the quality of the final product. This study aims to determine the impact of the vacuum bag method on the geometry between the design stages and the final results of the UAV wing. Differences in design geometry and final results are calculated by measurement. The effects of variations in thickness and loading were estimated by modeling simulations with Fusion360 Software. The geometry of the design stage and the final result did not have a significant change, with a difference of 10% in thickness, 2.45% in wing length, and 0.80% in wing width. For deformation, it can be concluded that the increase in thickness and loading is directly proportional to the magnitude of the deformation that occurs. The greater the value of thickness and loading, the greater the deformation that occurs.

Abstract

Keberagaman latar belakang siswa tentu bisa dari berbagai hal. Salah satunya adalah keberagaman lulusan siswa. Terdapat siswa lulusan SMP, MTs, dan Pesantren yang menjadikan kondisi kelas yang multikultural. Penulisan karya ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana guru bisa melakukan harmonisasi terhadap perbedaan latar belakang siswa sehingga berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar PAI. Karya ilmiah ini sepenuhnya menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian komparatif yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus SPSS diantaranya uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, serta uji hipotesis. Adapun hasil temuan karya ilmiah ini adalah siswa lulusan pesantren memiliki prestasi belajar PAI yang lebih baik daripada siswa lulusan lain. Kemudian proses harmonisasi dilakukan dengan penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang berbeda. Siswa lulusan pesdantren menggunakan metode Problem Solving, siswa lulusan MTs menggunakan metode ceramah, serta metode pembelajaran berbasis digital untrk siswa lulusan SMP.

Abstract

The pilot report case of Garuda Indonesia's Boeing 777-300ER aircraft that occurred in 2018-2019 was mostly a case of Nitrogen Generation System (NGS) failure. The objective of this research is to identify the dominant factors causing failures in the NGS, evaluate the reliability and failure rates of its components, so as to obtain the estimated time the component may will fail, effective scheduled maintenance, maintenance method design, and the estimated primary cost of the maintenance program and reliability control program for its components within one year. The research methodology using Quantitative analysis’s Distribution Test - Life Data Analysis method combined with the Anderson Darling index of fit parameter of Least Square Curve Fitting approach and Qualitative analysis involves identifying potential root causes and the effects of failures, as well as determining maintenance actions using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis and Fault Tree Analysis. Based on the analysis results obtained, the dominant factor causing failures in the NGS for the period is the variation failure of Turbo Compressor. This component has a reliability of 28.73%, and the mean time to failure (MTTF) is 10,477.62 flight hours. As a result, the optimum interm action preventive maintenance interval (pre-modification) of Turbo Compressor NGS is 250 flight hours with a reliability of 90%, requiring preventive maintenance to be performed 35 times per year. The recommended maintenance action is a scheduled restoration task aimed at upgrading and modifying the Turbo Compressor. The estimated cost of scheduled maintenance for the Turbo Compressor NGS is Rp 2,632,913,890.35, and unscheduled maintenance costs Rp 5,354,508,684.42.Keywords – Reliability, Failure, Maintenance, Turbo Compressor, Nitrogen Generation System.

Abstract

This research is based on the fact that many domestic sugar industries operate inefficiently and have low productivity, which is seen when compared to other countries such as Thailand, India and Australia. This study aims to identify and analyze problems along the flow of the white crystal sugar production process that cause waste and then make suggestions for improvements to reduce existing waste to increase cost efficiency in the production process. The national sugar factories generally have a basic problem, namely the low level of factory efficiency, which causes a lot of waste along the flow of the production process. The right concept for solving this problem is the implementation of the Lean manufacturing method, where this method focuses on efforts to reduce waste along the flow of the production process by making continuous improvements. The research begins with a literature study and field study and then conducts observations, analyzes, brainstorms, extracts and collects data from each work unit. The first stage begins with the define which will identify all forms of waste along the production process flow, measure to determine the most critical waste, analyze to identify the factors that cause waste in the production process, improve to carry out improvement plans, and reduce waste that occurs in the production process, and control as an evaluation of improvement results. The efficiency of the production process before the improvement is 78.7%, with improvements expected to increase production efficiency by 87.0% or an increase of 8.3 points.Keywords - Lean Manufacturing, DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping, Waste, Production Efficiency
