Abstract

The aim of this research was to describe the concept of the Islamic boarding school-based school program in instilling students' religious character values and to determine the implementation and evaluation of the Islamic boarding school-based school program in instilling students' religious character values. The research method used a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research were first, the Islamic boarding school-based school program is a program that integrates the curriculum in public schools with that in Islamic boarding schools which was launched by SMPN 2 Pasirian in collaboration with the Nurul Hayat Pasirian Islamic Boarding School. This program was a form of supporting and strengthening religious character education in students, especially regarding learning Islamic religious education (PAI). Second, this program was implemented from Monday to Thursday and during non-school hours, namely 13.00-15.00. The learning materials taught were reading and writing the Qur'an, memorizing short surahs, basic fiqh, and learning basic Arabic. Apart from that, the religious habituation model was also applied during school hours such as Duha prayers, reading Asmaul Husna or short surahs from the Al-Qur’an, giving alms in the form of money every Friday to be distributed to school students in need, and so on. Third, evaluate this program through three domains, namely the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to analyzes strategies for developing the professionalism of madrasa teachers based on Sufistic humanism. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis used is Miles and Huberman's data analysis. The results show that the teacher professional development strategy has three stages: development planning, implementation, and evaluation. This human research planning model includes, among others, considering HR requirements, comparing demand requirements with HR availability (HR demand, excess HR, and HR shortages), and considering the availability of HR within the organization. The implementation of teacher professionalism development is carried out with several coaching concepts based on sufistic humanism, including pedagogic development, professionalism development, personality development, and social development. While the development evaluation process is carried out with First, evaluation through leadership. Second, evaluation through the teacher by compiling learning tools at the beginning of each new school year. Third, evaluation through the assessment of MTs Al-Qodiri Jember students. This study shows that the policies provided to develop teacher professionalism at MTs Al-Qadiri Jember have an impact on improving teacher quality so that there are more professional teachers in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Al-Qur'an Hadith learning evaluation method for students with disabilities in inclusive schools, focusing on MI Al-Ikhlas Bagorejo Srono Banyuwangi. Learning evaluation is an activity that teachers must carry out to determine the extent to which learning has succeeded in achieving the desired goals, especially for students with disabilities. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type, combining observation, interview, and test techniques. Data validity is tested through triangulation of sources, methods, and time. The study's findings indicate that MI Al-Ikhlas has attempted to adapt to the needs of students with disabilities but still needs improvements in evaluation to meet individual needs. More personalized evaluation methods and more advanced educational technology are key, as is improving teacher training to recognize the variety of educational needs. With these improvements, MI Al-Ikhlas can improve evaluation fairness and support all students' maximum potential in a supportive environment. This study contributes to the development of more personalized evaluation methods for students with disabilities and the integration of educational technology. This supports improving teacher training to create a more inclusive educational environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui evaluasi, ruang lingkup pengembangan assessment kompetensi sikap terhadap pembelajaran PAI di SMP. Penilaian sikap tersebut memiliki beberapa teknik yang meliputi aspek spiritual dan sosial. Beberapa teknik tersebut diantaranya ialah teknik observasi, penilaian diri, penilaian teman sejawat, dan jurnal yang ditulis oleh guru. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan segala informasi mengenai aspek-aspek yang mendukung penelitian baik dari sumber naskah-naskah dan beberapa realitas. Alat-alat yang digunakan adalah informasi dari kegiatan pengamatan yang dilakukan peneliti pada SMP serta sumber referensi dari berbagai penelitian jurnal, skripsi, artikel ilmiah atau teks ilmiah yang berhubungan dengan judul penelitian yang dilakukan. Ada dua macam sumber dalam penelitian ini yakni sumber primer berupa hasil penelitian. Kedua ialah sumber sekunder, dimana sumber berasal dari sumber-sumber internet, artikel ilmiah, buku ataupun naskah dan lain sebagainya. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yakni penilaian terhadap kompetensi sikap pada pembelajaran PAI memiliki beberapa teknik yang diperlukan. Diantaranya, observasi, yakni hal yang menjadi kebutuhan pendidik. Artinya, pendidik melakukan pengamatan terhadap sikap yang menjadi kebiasaan peserta didik. Kedua, penilaian antar-teman yang mengetahui keseharian peserta didik karena teman ialah seseorang yang ditemui setiap harinya dan mengetahui karakter teman lainnya.  Kemudian, penilaian diri untuk mengimplementasikan nilai kejujuran yang dibangun untuk menjadi identitas yang melekat terhadap peserta didik tersebut. Dan terakhir ialah jurnal guru. Hal tersebut dilakukan terhadap aspek sosial dan spiritual peserta didik.

Abstract

ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kontribusi penilaian autentik dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan dengan pengumpulan data melalui pengumpulan informasi dari buku dan artikel. Penilaian autentik sendiri adalah penilaian komprehensif yang menilai aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. PAI adalah sebuah mata pelajaran yang berupaya mendidik dan mengajarkan agama Islam agar peserta didik menghayati dan mengamalkannya dalam kehidupan. Penilaian autentik tidak hanya menilai hasil belajar peserta didik setelah pembelajarn selesai, tetapi dalam proses pembelajaran, baik di kelas maupun di luar kelas. Kontribusi yang penilaian autentik dalam PAI terdiri atas empat hal. Pertama adalah pengukuran secara langsung terhadap kinerja peserta didik sebagai indikator capaian kompetensi yang dibelajarkan. Kedua adalah memberi kesempatan peserta didik untuk mengonstruksikan hasil belajarnya. Ketiga adalah terintegrasinya kegiatan pembelajaran dan penilaian menjadi satu paket kegiatan yang terpadu. Keempat adalah memberi kesempatan peserta didik menampilkan hasil belajarnya, unjuk kerjanya dengan cara yang dianggap paling baik.

Abstract

This research is a type of research and development (Research and Development or R & D) using the ADDIE Branch development model. The aim of this research is to produce a product in the form of a wordwall-assisted assessment instrument on coordination system material for class XI Science students at MA Negeri 2 Jember. The assessment instrument developed contains multiple choice questions (multiple choice) type Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) questions on the coordination system material. The research results show that the validation obtained from experts has been matched with the validation score criteria, material expert validation results are 88.12% (very valid), evaluation expert validation results are 95.55% (very valid), language expert validation results are 86.66 % (very valid), and the results of practitioner validation by teachers were 94.72% (very valid). Meanwhile, the results of student responses were: 1) small scale trial stage 83.17% (very interesting); and 2) large-scale trial phase 85.1% (very interesting). The results of the question item validation test were: 1) 20 of the 25 question items were declared valid with a value of rcount > rtable; 2) the overall reliability value of the questions is 0.792 (high); 3) the level of difficulty of the items in the easy, medium and difficult categories; and 4) the distinguishing power of items in the very good and quite good categories. The wordwall-assisted assessment instrument on the coordination system material was proven to be effective for class 05). Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the wordwall-assisted assessment instrument product is categorized as very valid, very practical and effective.

Abstract

Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) refer to cognitive abilities involving analysis, evaluation, and creation, which are essential in the learning process and problem-solving. In the Islamic context, the Qur'an invites believers to think critically and creatively, with over 300 verses encouraging higher-level thinking. A relevant verse, QS. An-Nahl (16:11), emphasizes the importance of reflection and understanding the signs of God's power. Through HOTS, individuals are expected not only to receive information but also to manage and apply it in daily life as a form of gratitude and practice of religious teachings. This article discusses the relevance of HOTS in developing human intellectual potential, the importance of cultivating a thinking culture in life, and the practical implications of sound understanding in producing righteous deeds. Emphasizing the use of reason as a trust highlights the distinction between humans and other beings, with the hope of achieving aspirations through constructive thinking.

Abstract

Abstract Artificial intelligence (AI) has brought a significant revolution in Islamic education. This is an interesting topic that deserves attention. Although AI presents great opportunities, the impact on the world of Islamic education must be carefully considered from the perspectives of its role, ethics, and application in the field of Islamic knowledge. The aim of this research is to detail the revolution, role, and innovations of artificial intelligence in the realm of Islamic education. The method used is a qualitative approach focusing on literature studies. The literature search is based on data sources such as Google Scholar and other relevant databases. The results of this study indicate that artificial intelligence can bring about a rapid revolutionary impact on Islamic education, including the use of chatbots for religious counseling, content recommendation systems for learning, and plagiarism detection in assignments related to Islamic material. The role of artificial intelligence in education is to create an adaptive learning experience that can be tailored to the difficulty level and teaching methods according to each student's abilities. Overall, artificial intelligence (AI) has tremendous potential to enhance productivity, efficiency, and the quality of learning across various fields, including education. By leveraging AI, we can create an innovative, adaptive, and effective learning environment that supports student development in this modern technological era.

Abstract

This study investigates how Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ar-Roudhoh in Jember integrates religious culture to strengthen Aqidah Akhlak (moral theology) education. Using qualitative, descriptive field research, data were gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings show that the implementation of religious culture at MI Ar-Roudhoh is systematically planned to enhance students' understanding of moral theology. In the classroom, activities are structured to deepen comprehension, while outside the classroom, religious practices reinforce this learning. These activities include habituation, modeling, and internalization of religious values. The result is a positive impact on students' attitudes, reflected in their cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development.

Abstract

This research is considered necessary because it is in line with the current digital era where many of the students certainly take advantage of the digital media around them. With a sufficient understanding of digital media literacy, it is hoped that it will help them in choosing and evaluating information wisely, thereby reducing the risk of exposure to inaccurate or dangerous information because it is seen from the rapidly increasing digital development. This study aims to find out the extent of students' digital media literacy and also the various learning styles of students and the analysis of students' digital media literacy according to their respective learning styles (visual, auditory and kinesthetic). The method used descriptive qualitative research with 48 respondents. The data collection technique uses questionnaires (multiple choice digital media literacy questionnaire and learning style questionnaire to determine the types of students' learning styles including visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and mixed) and analysis using the help of SPSS version 25.  The results of this study show that the learning style that has a higher understanding of digital media literacy than other learning styles is the auditory learning style with an average of 19.80, the second is the visual learning style with an average of 19.75, the third is the mixed learning style with an average of 19.57, and the last is the kinesthetic learning style with an average of 19.17.
