Abstract

This study aims to reveal the extent of openness of communication carried out among students of the Da'wah Faculty and UINSU communication and its impact on worship activities carried out by these students. Observations and interviews are techniques used to collect data in this study. Triangulation analysis method is also used to analyze the data obtained from respondents, descriptive analysis research method applied in this study. From 30 respondents taken with a percentage of 20 female respondents and 10 male respondents it was found that social media activities through Facebook had a special attraction and increased their confidence in communication. The impact felt by the respondents was more to the shift in the discipline of worship that they did when cool communicating with their virtual friends, recitations of the Koran that are usually done before prayer time arrives multiplied by the fun they are chatting, status updates or just looking at their Facebook wall.

Abstract

The City without Slums (KOTAKU) program is one of the government's strategic efforts to accelerate the handling of slums in Indonesia and support the "100-0-100 Movement", which is 100 percent universal access to drinking water, 0 percent slums, and 100 percent access to proper sanitation. Efforts to handle slums by the government of Deli Serdang Regency began with the identification of the location of slums and the determination of the location of slums through the Decree of the Regent of Deli Serdang No: 413.23/2347 Year 2015 slum area of 461 ha spread across 56 locations of villages, in 19 districts in Deli Serdang. The problem of community participation shows that the involvement of community participation in the KOTAKU Program is still low, this can be seen from the documentation of the list of attending KOTAKU activities in 2019. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect community participation in the KOTAKU Program in Percut Sei Tuan District. The analysis method used in this study is to use a descriptive quantitative approach. The data source used consists of 2 types of data, namely primary data and secondary data. The number of respondents to the study as many as 80 people. The results of this study showed that the factors that influence community participation in the KOTAKU Program in Percut Sei Tuan subdistrict are factors of upper middle age, high school graduation education level, length of work in a week, and understanding positive and significant influence while the factors of long stay and income have a positive and insignificant effect on community participation in the KOTAKU Program.

Abstract

The Muarajambi area is a national cultural preserve with an area of 3,981 hectares covering 9 villages in 2 sub-districts. This area has quite promising tourism potential. Tourism activities in the Muarajambi Temple area are centered in Muara Jambi Village. This is due to the fact that most of the restored temples are in this area. around the main temple complex. The development of tourism is pursued by the community by forming associations and organizations, so that it can help in developing tourism in the Muarajambi Temple area. Community participation in developing tourism in the Muarajambi Temple Area is mostly done through tourism conscious groups; in general community participation is influenced by two factors. The first factor is an internal factor, internal factors that influence the Group includes a strong desire of the community to participate, a sense of concern for Group members towards the younger generation, the age of the members involved in these groups are in the productive age, and the level of education of the management also influences their participation under construction. The second factor is an external factor, an external factor that influences community participation in tourism development in the Muara Jambi village, including the large support from the government regarding community involvement in activities that support tourism. However, the role of the Muaro Jambi Regency Government which has full authority over the development of this region has not yet had an influence in the process of developing the Muarajambi Temple Area.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of marine tourism business factors on the income of marine business actors in Pantai Cermin District of Serdang Bedagai Regency and the Impact of the Covid 19 Virus Pandemic on the income of marine business actors in Pantai Cermin District of Serdang Bedagai Regency. The research was conducted in Serdang Bedagai Regency on the analysis of the influence of marine tourism on the development of coastal areas in Serdang Bedagai Regency (Case study of Pantai Cermin District). The analytical methods used in this study are multiple regression analysis and test analysis different t with the number of respondents as many as 82 people. The results of the study obtained that capital factors, the number of workers, places of business, formal education, informal education, and the legality of business entities simultaneously affect the income of marine business actors in Pantai Cermin District. Partially variable capital, and the number of workers shows a significant influence on the income of marine business actors in Pantai Cermin District. While the dummy variables of business premises, formal education, informal and legality of business entities do not show a significant influence on the income of marine business actors in Pantai Cermin District. The Covid 19 pandemic shows a negative impact, namely a decrease in the income of marine businesses.
